1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: October 21, 2019, 06:05:53 PM
I own a decent amount of Bitcoins which were made honestly with right investment & timing since 2012.
During 2017 until 2019, i invested in many different projects and 99% of my investment got wiped almost instantly during 2019.
Typical story with everyone in the market but do the same process you did during 2012, invest small amounts in bitcoin for the long term and try to accumulate as much as you can and then who knows what the price would be ten years from now.

I read about many so called Bitcoin Banks, Projects,  who promise you 3% interest annually, simply don't believe in holding your bitcoins in one place for such a long time.
You claim to be in the market for a long time and you must know that only if you hold the private key to your coins you cannot call them yours, the risk is high if you trust a third person project as you never know when it will shut down.
1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 21, 2019, 05:17:35 PM
This fight shows whether Askren is able to compete with the elite fighters in the UFC and if he fails this time he might be thinking about retiring.
It will be a big test for Askren as he is coming back after his first loss in his career and that too was a brutal one and many of the fighters will be cautious when returning back but luckily for Ben he is not fighting a striker and this fight will show the ground capabilities of both fighters and it is not that easy to defeat Demian Maia. I have not seen Ben fighting any elite fighters, this is a good test for his career.

1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 21, 2019, 02:51:52 PM
But still considering South Africa was still the number 3 team in tests I thought there would be a good competition. Now the thing is if number 3 team is losing from number 1 so miserably is there any kind of competition left in cricket? On Indian pitches Indians are like monster they can eat up the whole world XI all alone I think.
The ranking is just bull shit, just look at the last T20 series in Pakistan, they were the no one T20 team and Srilanka was ranked number seven and they destroyed Pakistan in all the matches and white washed the series. South Africa is having trouble with their batting line up after the retirement of their star players and they were not able to replace any of the players.
1264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 21, 2019, 12:16:00 PM
Betting on India in ODI and test matches these days has become a legit way to earn bucks regularly. I earned decent amounts myself. They are basically the Barcelona or Man City or Liverpool of the Cricketing world these days.
Betting on India is a safe bet for years and that too if they are playing in India as they are dominating every opponent but T20 is different. South Africa has already lost 8 wickets and Elgar is injured and if he does not come back to bat just one more wicket will wrap up the match and the fielding has improved as there was a direct throw from Umesh Yadav in the first innings and now Nadeem Shocked.
1265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 21, 2019, 09:59:33 AM
Hamza , DeKock, Du Plessis and Bavuma are all out and score now stands 26/4  Roll Eyes and on top of that Elgar is retired hurt. I haven't followed the weather updates but it seems like the match is gonna be over very very soon since their main and experienced batsman are all gone and they still are trailing with a 300+ run margin;.
The South African players are doing a parade of honor to the dressing room and now they lost their 5th wicket and Elgar is retired hurt because he was hit in the helmet by a bouncer from Umesh Yadav and i feel really sad to see them struggle like this and that too in Indian pitches and no wonder Brain Lara commented that the current Indian bowling line up resembles the bowling attack of West Indies in the 80s and 90s which is a huge compliment from a player like Brain Lara and if you look at the statistics it is true.

~snip
Today the South African team has done the pavilion parade and still counting in their 2nd innings
The parade continues and hopefully they will take a long rest after this match Cheesy.
1266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 21, 2019, 08:45:56 AM
Wow another game with follow on enforced. Love the way India is dominating and that too without actual bowling attack. South Africa has a long way to go to make their team perfect.
In second innings now they are now one wicket down.  Roll Eyes
Quinton de Kock and Zubayr Hamza are back in the pavilion and both their stumps are rattled  Cheesy. Elgar and their captain Faf du Plessis are in the crease and they are only batman that can take this team to a good total and if they are not able to do that the match will most probably get over by tomorrow, with the weather condition in Ranchi i am expecting the light will be a problem and the play is likely to stop within an hour like the past two days.

Silly logic. You don't need to be a fan of a Cricket player just because he is the captain of your team. For example, I was never a fan of Sachin's captaincy when he captained India.
When Sachin was the captain none of the players were performing and all the pressure was him to produce runs all the time.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 21, 2019, 07:27:31 AM
Never expected such a performance from South African batsmen. Indian pitches aren't that difficult for bat on
It was an expected result as they were struggling with form for a long time and they were finding it difficult to bat against the Srilankan bowlers in South Africa and what do you expect, they will come to India and dominate the Indian bowlers, the present Indian team could challenge any team in the world as they have the best bowling line up in the history of Indian cricket and if the players are not in form any pitch will be difficult for the batsman Tongue.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE reaches 30sats! Do you think it could go higher now? on: October 20, 2019, 08:46:24 PM
30 satoshi of Dogecoin price for me is good for taking investment because we know this are very cheap then have potential in many alts here in crypto like this are very trusted and popular already for so long period of time then base in your question OP for sure this can grow anytime still there's a possible that this can drop and still better to buy again in that time
The price of Dogecoin usually trade around 18 SAT to 220 SAT and when ever the price of altcoin start to rise we can see the price going to those valuation and i made some profits in the past and i am holding a substantial amount of coins and i use dogecoin to gamble once in a while and if you are able to invest at a good price and have the patience to hold for a long time then you can make a good profit.
1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Right Now: Will Do A Bull Run Too? on: October 20, 2019, 08:09:20 PM
I personally think Ethereum will outshine Bitcoin but trust will always be valuable.
That is a good dream which will never be true  Tongue. If you really understand the problems ETH is facing you will not have this fake sense of security.

I don't know if it will be bull run but soon people are going to realize what a smart contract is and how that can change the world, when that happens everything can happen, and hope you've secured your ETH.
The scammers already understood the power of ETH and so is the reason billions were stolen in the form of ICO and other scummy projects and remember the regulators are there to shut these things and then we will see how the future of ETH goes Tongue.
1270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 20, 2019, 06:38:49 PM
Actually, as the captain, I don't think that Babar Azam will even be able to continue to play like before. IMO, it's going to be a double loss for the team:
We have to find out with time whether Babar Azam could play his natural game being a captain, Kohli is the best captain right now because he started performing better being a captain and if you look at the statistics you will come to know, so you never know how Babar Azam is going to perform and let us not judge him now.
1271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: October 20, 2019, 05:52:22 PM
you are right! All serious projects in which I participated did not need a KYC! such projects with KYC - often speculating on our data
I am sure all the data that are collected in the name of bounties are to collect your data and nothing else and i am sure many have provided their data to many of these scams.

Try to take part in IEOs on big exchanges like Binance. You would need to pass the KYC only one time and you are getting excess to a bunch of token sales and you are allowed to participate in all of them if you hold enough BNBs.
You really cannot trust these IEO projects even if they are listed in Binance, they will conduct any project if they are given the right amount, so have that on your mind while investing your money.

After I've read an article that saying people who participating in KYC have a high risks on being sold their identity on the black market. I do not now provide my information in KYC for my safety purposes.
There is no doubt that all your documents will appear in the black market and there is no point in giving your critical information.
1272  Other / Meta / Re: Database Error and slow forum on: October 20, 2019, 05:03:15 PM
Why did the forum have a database error?
I am still having issues with the images as it is not loading,  the reason is quoted below from what theymos said.

A hardware issue was degrading performance. The downtime ~6 hours ago may have been due to this alone, or a DDoS attack may have pushed it over the edge; I'm not sure. (I see some unusual traffic in the logs, but it doesn't look that extreme, and it may have been a side-effect of the slowness.) I think that I fixed the performance issue now, at least.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 20, 2019, 04:21:40 PM
Moin Khan has come out against Misbah-ul-Haq, after Sarfaraz got sacked as the captain. Moin has a point here. It was Sarfaraz Ahmed who took Pakistan to the no.1 slot in the T20 rankings. Sarfaraz  is the same guy who led Pakistan to 11 consecutive series victories in the T20 format.
They won the ODI tournament against Srilanka and they lost the T20 series but to sack him completely was unwanted as you mentioned he took the team to the number one position and to win eleven consecutive series is not a small feat either.

And now Misbah-ul Haq want to hide his own failures by making a scapegoat out of Sarfaraz. As per Moin, both Misbah and Waqar Younis held personal enemity against Sarfaraz.
I have no idea when Misbah-ul Haq was appointed but what i understand from history is that if there is a disappointing series Pakistan usually sack their captain to get the heat off from the people and that is exactly they have done here.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 20, 2019, 09:46:13 AM
Rohit Sharma 6 sixes in his 255 balls inning
Umesh Yadav 5 sixes in his 10 balls inning  Grin
Umesh Yadav showed his power and he might be auditioning for the opening slot for India in the upcoming T20 world cup, If Sunil Narine could open the batting for his team then why no Umesh Yadav  Cheesy.

India 497/ 9 declare
South Africa missed the opportunity to wrap up Indian innings cheaply  Now tough time for them at least first 20 overs and we still have 35+ overs to go.
A decent score but with Sharma scoring a double century and Rahane scoring a century the rest of the team could manage only 170 runs and that too with the contribution of tail end players. South Africa already lost their first wicket and for all the supporters who claim to give toss to the visiting players, the only way it will be a fair game will be if India pick the entire bowling line up with part time bowlers.  Tongue
1275  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum and Satoshi on: October 20, 2019, 08:51:42 AM
Now fashionable to call themselves Satoshi Nakamoto and to prove that he real in court as Craig Wright, but why if he indeed real he not writes nothing on bitcointalk, on forum where he first time uploaded information about its coin bitcoin? What do you think?
The forum has been hacked several times and he will not have access to his account, no one need to go to court to prove that he is Satoshi, all he has to do is to sign a message and that ends the speculation, if CW has the time to fight in court but does not have the time to simply sign a message which takes a few minutes is fishy and he will get his account back in this forum as theymos has locked his account to prevent abuse from what i understand.
Thousand of topics regarding the same has being discussed here, so it is better to have a little search before creating a topic.
1276  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex International shutting down services from 31 countries. on: October 20, 2019, 07:39:54 AM
Noticed now Bittrex going shutting down their services from 31 countries. According to Bittrex they attempt shut down their service from certain countries due to regulatory uncertainty.
That is not a satisfactory answer to shut down the service due to regulatory uncertainty and if that is the real case then they should shut down their service in more countries than the said 31 countries. Since it is a private company they can take decision like that and thank you for informing the community about shutting their service to the said countries. They should have given more time for the users to withdraw their money than giving around ten days as majority might not hear about their decision if they are on a vacation.
1277  Economy / Economics / Re: Paper Money - The Greatest Scam on: October 20, 2019, 07:02:37 AM
I've read theories like this before. it is true that the government can print as much money as and can cause paper money to become worthless.
but I believe there is a good reason in that matter, the government must have calculated the economic impact if it prints a large amount of money, otherwise the country will be affected by the economic crisis.
If the government is not taking any precaution when they print the money then it will doom their economy and historically we have evidence how a government could destroy their own economic situation if they are not careful on how they deal and control their finances. Even in recent times we know what happened to Venezuela where the government completely destroyed the economy because of inflation and they tried to counter that by printing more currency.
1278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will this fluctuation end ? on: October 19, 2019, 07:24:13 PM
Bitcoin's price has been slightly fluctuating everyday but it's not a huge fluctuation to buy in or sell of in order to make huge profit as everyone is eagerly waiting to know where this will us to, this is what my question is over here. Are we heading towards a new price pump or a dump ? This slow drift of bitcoin's value is really confusion.
The price of bitcoin is fluctuating from the beginning the market created but you cannot expect the market to have a huge rally and drop all the time and bitcoin market is not a magic place to make money in a short period of time  Tongue. You need to have patience to make money and that market will rally after the cooling period and we will see that market rally after the halving.
1279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Owner of Burj Khalifa,Dubai Mall, launching token on JPMorgan’s blockchain on: October 19, 2019, 06:24:48 PM
What do you think about the EMRtoken? It is the name behind Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the world) and Dubai Mall (second largest mall).
Why would they want their own token, not sure what they are planning to do with the token. Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall are near each other and it is owned by a real estate company and from what i guess they are releasing the token to advertise that they are advanced and following the technology and other than that i do not think it will of any use.
1280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 19, 2019, 04:00:40 PM
Will watford get its first win of the season? Shocked
Only 15 minutes left to see if they can pull out a win at london stadium.
I think the odds were very epic on the prematch for this to happen.
The odds were really tempting and no one here expected that it will be a close match and so is the case with me but it was really cool to see Watford holding on to the lead till the final minutes of the match and if they could have won then it would have been the upset of the week  Cheesy and Watford will have their first win of the season but Dele spoiled their dreams.
