If anyone would want, Im thinking actually of organizing a GB for 100+ of the really nice metal powered hubs. Can get them direct from manufacturer for much cheaper than 1 at a time.
i checked already.. the amazon uk price (anker), you can get a bit lower, but not at 100 orders.. wont be even 5% for you and buyers would get same price as amazon. |

Also look at expected difficulty in the end of october 250M won't make much coins with less than 1TH.. but its really great to see your price per GH calculations on all auctions and sales posts! I submitted the form from steambot's email on the same day I received it, but no reply nor other info..
Could you email me the form? I'd advise against using other peoples information unless you trust them 100% and then some. Unless you *want* to get pished or something  Also, people who received the original e-mail, please do not send it to others whom you may not know if they are a batch member themselves. They may want your original in order to create pishing e-mail which looks identical to the original mail. can you spell out for me in plain english how i can get screwed using a refund form that someone else sends to me? its just a form isnt it? Im just going to be sending it to steamboats email? the form submits your signature to a google doc directly.. so change email, and he cando your refund. other note! got refund today! |

So with current diff, at 86M. your making 5.4 coins (in a pool) per day.. you made 25 coins in 5 days august 30th to september 3rd (solo mining). Do you still solo mine? have you gotten lucky? Im thinking of trying.. but dont have 950GH. Got three blocks since Aug 30/31, I sold one rig so last week was doing solo with one rig, did not get anything. Now, I got another rig, so will try solo with two rigs again. Hit 67M just hours ago, but 86 is the target now... Is it worth it? I don't think so. The variance is killing me. Last week I could have made 18-20 with one rig, but instead I got nothing. If you have less than 500GH, don't do it. Even with 1TH, it is a big gamble. I'd feel more comfortable with 2-3TH or more, but 1TH? thanks for sharing! bit far from 1 th.. hm ok. |

how do i calculate based on GH what are the probabilities of finding a block? i realised i found one on eligius actually, but ofcourse only got my share of the block.
i wouldn't mind solo mining for 3-4 months if i at least find one block worth 25btc. or even try a week or two.
As written before here, any info on avalon solo mining setups?

I think you are doing a great job. Once i reach roi, i will start paying constantly to you. I think it is good that you are answering questions here in such detail, it really increases your credibility. Sad to see though how people with such negligence can burst such accusations. Chin up. Keep calm.  Is there anywhere where one can read about your infrastructure? I mean, what are your preventions to DDOS attacks and such? As i believe this could be targets for upcoming rogue pools to sink all other pools. Or will that have no effect on their own mining? |

You have to sign the form with your wallet. If you are worried about that, you have bigger problems. That link won't change any of that unless it gets spammed. SB can verify everyone's signature with their payment address. That is why it is taking some time to process all this.
And what about us poor idiots (who care about security) who didn't get sent a form or link to form from official channels, or signed message? Is this refund option only available tho those who are willing to infract their own security? should be in your inbox, from his email. (check spam). |

escrow support all types of delivery. just you wont see any of the coins until you deliver what you are selling.
payment to escrow, escrow tells you to ship (even if preorder, you will just wait longer for cash), goods delivered, once verified fully working, buyer oks deal to escrow, you get coins.

It's in the email that was sent this morning (and quoted in this thread) - K16 works for half the chips (it will hash with 8 chips at full speed). Hashing on all 16 doesn't appear to be working at this time. exactly. but collect money for assembly is easy! but to assemble it working, different story. I dont want to get involved, i never participated in parts/assembly, only chips. This was the main reason, the maker of the boards didnt even get it working, then how could steamboat.. |

anyone in batch 1 & 2 still considering refunds? I got 64 chips in batch 1 and 64 in batch 2 both with full assembly. Considering a refund, not sure if we can ROI, anyone got some good estimates?

Because we're not really getting any communication here, just wondering if we have some blockchain vigilantes among us with some time to check whether Avalon has refunded some of the orders to Steamboat. I'm not sure if they are refunding to the sending address, but we could use zefir's and sebastian's refunds for reference.
