What an awesome test of resistance at $9000.

We spent a total of only 8 days in the $8000-$9000 range, and only 5 days above $9000 and here it is bouncing off $9000 like a frucking trampoline. I fully expected a further test of $8000, maybe it's yet to come...

I'm not much of one for TA, but looks like we might be halfway through an inverse head and shoulders. Bullish!

I think $10,000 will be the new floor by the end of this month (maybe even week?) or end Jan at the latest.

\/\/\/
$9000

Boing boing boing...

You do realize today IS the end of the month, right? Cheesy

Bitstamp just had to die RIGHT when I go to deposit some change to try to get enough for a minimum trade. Argh.

Also... Karma brought Bitcoin as a consequence of the actions of other people from the history of the world. The Universe feels when it is out of balance and needs to bend time, space and information of matter. Smiley

I had initiated a little donation for Christmas presents for poor kids in the german bitcointalk subform:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954571.0

(of course it is all in german)

check out WHAT THOSE FUCKIN German BITCOINERZ DID TO MY DONATION ADDRESS:

Und how do we know zat ziz iz not a scam?

fuck man, if we're being charitable, i'd really like to stop borrowing from my retired parents every couple weeks to make ends meet... fucking stupid US wage laws and costs of living and medical being so high that i haven't seen a primary care doctor or dentist in my adult life... my own fucking stupid choices back in 2013 that leave me with .00039btc... ARGH.

ahem. sorry. i'm both overjoyed at the action these days and incredibly depressed by it when i look at how long i've been "in the know" as it were, and how i've... well, failed royally, repeatedly.

Now that we are officially the new wealthy elite, let's make sure that we do better than the old ones. Smiley

227  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happens when the "Greens" object to bitcoin on: November 29, 2017, 03:30:37 AM
to maximize profits of BTC mining, cheapest possible electricity is required. therefore, the problem solves itself. sure, i may not want to drop 10,000 USD (1 btc. Cheesy) on a solar system for my home, but hell, if i run miners as well, they're obviously, unquestionably reach a return on investment, eventually. because if you're not paying for electricity, but just the 1-time cost of panels and miners, they can run forever. even BFL miners could turn a profit under that circumstance.

therefore, eventually the big miners will switch to renewables like solar and wind. to not do so is to waste money.

"I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen."

that, or we're REALLY stupid, having had the golden ring in our hands and traded it for some junk (like 100 USD/btc)...

guess which camp i'm in? ugh.

Both? Grin

i'd be ok with that... nope... due to multiple bad life choices and unexpected long term unemployment, what savings i had, including the BTC, were gone long ago... i've got about ten bucks in BTC right now, and a job that doesn't pay enough to cover my bills, let alone investing. sigh.

10k on stamp? ...well, that happened.
231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 26, 2017, 06:28:28 PM
I'm complaining about this exchange, not making a speculation.

Which coin is this? Bitstamp is number 10 in volume with $80 million.
Einsteineum on Bittrex. I flipped this one for a 100% profit and then it kept going another 100%. It has 15K of volume.

Bitstamp on the other hand has 9K of volume which pales in comparison to Bitfinex and other exchanges. Ive been trying to trade there and it's tough.

Yeah, but do you know about Unobtainium yet? It's crushing Einsteineum in volume, something like ~250K of volume. On that one secret exchange you can't get to. Sorry about that, sux to be you. Later, loser!

Dude we are almost 10k$ ... Lighten up torque  Grin

Everything isn't a conspiracy ...

it's not? well that's just boring. Cheesy

i was just reading a story about a bottle that went for 10,000 USD... per dram. 300k for the whole bottle.

course, turned out it was a fake, but that just means real ones exist.

2) Don't flaunt your wealth on social media:
http://altdigitalcurrency.com/?p=130.

Always hide your power-level.

This applies as well when you conceal carry a firearm.

still trying to find a convenient way to conceal carry my preferred weapon of self-defense - sword. Cheesy

http://astrohacker.com/ahc/bitcoin-is-the-economic-singularity/

After reading this, the scale of black market and digital economies and the effect Bitcoin will have on them I am pretty certain we are going to be very wealthy men -- even with a sum as small as 10 Bitcoins. It's just so hard to believe. We are only in the beginning storms with these significant rallies from 10 to 20 dollars. I will not be surprised to see prices from hundreds to thousands in the coming months.

The world just isn't going to be the same and we have been blessed as the pioneers.

What are you going to do with your Bitcoin wealth once your coins hit upwards of $10,000 a pop?

It is really curious that OP is not a forum member any more. He probably became so wealthy that wanted to delete any trace of his identity. It is a pity that the article he was quoting has also disappeared.

Anyway, he was a visionary. We are going to reach $10.000 soon probably, maybe even this year. It is not 100% sure but if it happened none of us would be surprised.

The question is, will people starting to get into bitcoin nowadays be also part of the new wealthy elite in the future? It seems unlikely future returns will be as high as past ones in terms of %.

The fate of the original poster is not entirely unknown. He was known here as atlas, though used many other id's to troll and annoy. He ^banned from thy forum multiple times.

aaaand 3, 2, 1....

*bzzzzz* wrong!

any time now though.

so, wait, this cross chain thing, what the fuck? HOW? i mean, someone, somewhere, has to take he BTC amount and give out the LTC amount, but from what i saw in the demo video, neither of the two involved did that. one sent out btc and got ltc. the other sent out ltc and got btc. i'm very confused.
236  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 17, 2017, 02:09:39 AM
I was just day dreaming thinking about when hardware wallets are built into our cell phones so that there is 0 risk of theft for the average Joe. You will be able to obtain BTC directly from your cell carrier instantly from your phone.

That's when we'll be mainstream  Cool

and then, like i've done a couple times with my phones and a bitcoin wallet app, we forget to transfer the keys when we upgrade our phones...

just a few satoshis of dust in my case, but still...
237  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: power supply issue... on: November 16, 2017, 02:01:17 PM
Yeah, when it comes to mining it's better to leave atx psu away and only buy server grade psus.

I'll keep that in mind when I return this later.
238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 16, 2017, 05:26:42 AM
I don't know. But it is perfectly righteous.

Much like Bitcoin.....

Or maybe it's his impression of NERO fiddling while BCH & BTG BURN

and the BTC Train goes CCMF!

Works for me.

You guys are insane, you know that, right?

Never change. Cheesy
