I think if your goal in life is to purchase a bigger TV, you should rethink what it is you really want out of life (and Bitcoin).
Right. I did not realize TV's were that expensive that Bitcoin needs to reach such high amounts to buy one. My dream job has always been to be a rich philanthropist. I would love to be involved with helping free sex slaves, doing some international work in Africa to help the hungry, support free medical services for the poor in third world countries and so on. But I have some selfish wants too. A new house with a giant walk-in closet is on my wish list! You can keep the closet - i just want a quiet, sound insulated room with no external light sources to sleep in. Or maybe just a cave... *hermit*

50BTC needs to solve this problem asap. Our coins are gone and who will mining without getting bitcoins?
indeed. i've left to another pool for now. I too have abandoned ship May i ask where you 2 headed?, im back on btcguild but im still testing pools. For now, ozcoin, but my 15ghash is so low these days that anything but pps kinda screws me. I'll look at btc guild later I suppose, i just worry about them having to much hash.

This should be so astronomically unlikely as to never happen...
Was there any btc stored on that address from before you used it?

I could see why GPU miners would be made but didn't the people buying ASIC's take this into account when they bought their ASIC's?
To this degree? Maybe not. I expected a 100x increase from the pre ASIC levels. This is exceeding they with no sign of slowing.

Attempted to withdraw 0.027 or so, and it never showed up, said an error occurred. But it's no longer reflected in my balance. At this point I'm missing about 0.06 or so.
Updates Aww good.
Anyone checked the Russian thread?

Phone chargers. Far as i know, only apple uses something besides the mini usb one. Took forever to standardize, but did so without government.

hilarious panic dumpers every two days there's a correction. into stronger hands.. They wait till after there's an 8% drop, and then dump.. Are you new or something ? The price can fall far lower than it has so far. I generally consider that 10k BTC can be bought or dumped at any point in time with zero notice. A 10k dump right now would take us down to $155 and? or? elseif While(not price = ath) Price++ End while Pseudo code, I know, but you get it.

200 BTC on mine, but I would really like to see what is my real balance, I hope the actual number after fixing problems will be correct ...
i agree. my income right now (new job, paychecks haven't reached their regular levels yet) isn't cutting it... i'll need that .03 btc!

did we ALL try and pull out the fake amount? we're horrible people...
then again, mine was the smallest of those posted here, and it was still $20,000 at current prices...
i'd have given it back, honest!

Bitcoins rock, I am working on no internet (Only cellphone smsing) Bitcoin client , gonna be even more awesome if Bitcoin is available even without internet! that will be a real asset for places like africa where (i assume) data is less readily available then something like texting.

Maybe your just pissed he's not spending it at your casino ? Exactly He did say he is working for a cartage company now, so maybe he is not so bad off. How do you know what he can/can not afford to lose? If he's got "x" coming in at a specific time from a new job and can afford to bet a little. But you can't go lecturing people when you make proceeds off of a parasitic gambling site. Maybe your just pissed he's not spending it at your casino ? I was just pointing it out the nature of his post the need to get food, Sounding like an emergency and lack of funds then a week later a few 0.1 BTC that got tossed and gambled. I'd expect in a situation of hardship that need money for food and not much money to not gamble any away. As i already said, I've done no gambling of any kind this year. You're looking at the past. Pay attention to your own posts and the dates therein.

So, your an admin of a gambling site, and your giving lectures on people gambling? boggle. you offering to close down your site out of moral obligation?
I've seen Douglas many times, blocking gamblers from gambling all there funds away, etc. Besides, satoshidice isn't my gambling site I know ppl do gamble and have a bit of fun here and there. But if he was asking for a desperate loan of 1 BTC for groceries at September, and gambled a few 0.1 BTC at Oct 1, or later. It shows he is gambling money he can't afford to lose. Just pointing it out. I haven't gambled a single satoshi of any money, btc or otherwise, in 2013. Further, your suggestion in pm that I put an address for donations in my forum sig as a way to verify that's my address? Wow.

So, i'm probably nuts, but:
Yesterday and today, I've had trouble getting connected to the pool. Using pool.50btc.com, it seems it'll attempt to connect then crash my bfgminer instead of failing over to pool2. (which i am clearly needing to change so both are stratum.) if i connect to pool2 direct, it seems ok until the inevitable stability problems lately cause it to fail over and crash. I've gone back to Oz coin temporarily until I can fix this.
Any ideas?

Hi,
sorry to ask, but what do you call for a living?
I would call a living enough to live on, pay bills , have some spare for entertainment, this is different in different countries and even different ppl have different ideas on what are essentials and what are luxuries, people with children usually need more income than single people etc etc..... if a person is making enough to not need other employment/sources of income they are making a living no matter what country they live in. I wish the Americans could see there is a whole world outside of their borders - I live in a vain hope that this worldwide Bitcoin thing will open some eyes speaking as an american, i'm right there with ya. (and so are my miners!) it's about the planet and humanity as a whole, not individual nations.
