1041  Economy / Lending / Re: Locked keys in car, between jobs, need 1 Btc fast, pay 10% interest. on: January 30, 2014, 10:28:47 PM
I... Hadn't thought of that. Hmm.

That's a good point what would you do if the locksmith refuses too?

... Bust and replace a window, worst case? I'll think of something... Think I'll call and ask a lock Smith.
1042  Economy / Lending / Re: Locked keys in car, between jobs, need 1 Btc fast, pay 10% interest. on: January 30, 2014, 10:21:43 PM
Bought it used, no spare. Didn't have the fore thought to fix that before it was too late. Will be my first stop...

That's unlucky but won't a locksmith refuse to open the car because you can't confirm you own the car?

I... Hadn't thought of that. Hmm.

Car has the lock by the handle inside, not on top like that. Pity.
1045  Economy / Lending / Re: Locked keys in car, between jobs, need 1 Btc fast, pay 10% interest. on: January 30, 2014, 09:57:50 PM
So you can't offer any sort of form of collateral? I know your trust speaks for itself but I don't know if your account has been hacked or not.

Valid point. Let's see... The only assets I have are my (locked) car, my miners and pc, my phone (galaxy s4 owned outright), and various books and such.

I can say I put the phone up, but unless someone literally holds it in escrow, it's still just my word. If your worried I got hacked, that isn't changed by saying something...

That said, I would put my phone up as collateral. I paid 700 for it... But I obviously need it. I'm posting from our now!

Looking at the vid now.

I don't understand why do you need a loan because you've locked the keys in your car?

Tried the coat hanger trick, didn't work. So short of breaking a window, I need a locksmith, or something...

That's second to the "not starting work and need stuff (pants for starters. I only have jeans.) before I will get paid."
1047  Economy / Lending / Re: Locked keys in car, between jobs, need 1 Btc fast, pay 10% interest. on: January 30, 2014, 09:32:38 PM
Your credit history is a lender's wet dream.

I'm assuming you mean it Sucks.... You'd be right. Past mistakes I've yet to be able to resolve. Never broken a deal in bitcoin land though.
No, I was referring to your trust rating, which is fantastic. If I had the bitcoins in my wallet right now, I would loan to you.

Oh! Well, thank you.

1049  Economy / Lending / [completed] Locked keys in car, between jobs, need 1 Btc fast, pay 10% interest. on: January 30, 2014, 08:39:04 PM
Hey guys. My id was verified by John K during block erupters group buys, I make my identity no secret. My real legal name is arklan uth oslin, phone number 3109048610, Google the name and it's all me.

Seeking quick loan of 1btc for two reasons. First I'm between jobs and down to 4 USD. Despite having a new job set up, I need money to make it to the paycheck.

Additionally, I just locked my keys, in the ignition, in my car. I'm worried someone will see it as is in a store parking lot and bash a window and take it. I need to resolve that ASAP. I tried the coat hanger trick to no luck.

Pay back in the amount of 1.1 Btc (or maybe cash equivalent if the price explodes or implodes?) ASAP, which would be no more then 2 months, probable only 3 weeks or so.

Anyone? Lower amounts welcome to discuss.

I'd also be happy to sell my block erupters and hubs, if no loan. I've got 50.

all done and paid off.

no...

like i said i could not afford to lose very much at all.

and i sodl alot in the 20's .....

you and me both.

you and me threeth. I pulled my csv's from virtex and ran them through a spreadsheet after the 266 bump, my average sell price was $17 dollars. I'm sure my average price has gone up a bit since then, but sometimes it sickens me to think how many of these things I let slip through my fingers.

Right there with you guys. June 2012 I had about 20 coin... By the time of the April rise I had almost none. Did it again with the latest rise. I had a few coin from selling some stuff in summer, used it on general expenses, groceries, etc... Nothing left now except the little I mine.

Is there a thread somewhere dedicated to these kinds of stories?

I hope not... Too painful...

I'd say most Americans lack a knowledge of what freedom means, from a constitutional perspective. They've been raised (as was I!)  in this system with all the messages and such... Most never really question what they're taught. They just follow the herd, keep their heads down, follow celebrities.

"waking up" as it were, takes a lot of effort and can be frankly painful. Most people resist it with everything they have.

Waking up will take something other than a bunch of internet che guevara wannabes, who btw got his ass holed in while in the jungles of bolivia because reality turned out a little different than his fantasies.

Your kind are the easiest to manipulate. This kind of juvenile bullshit 'rah rah rah fite da powa' is not freedom, neither is it 'exercising your rights'. It's just a whole lot of bitching.

Fish rots from the head. Head of democracy is supposed to be level-headed, courageous and responsible people who have some back bone. Since we got a bunch of internet cunts acting the role, you are the greatest contributor to the degradation of democratic values and freedom - simply because you don't have what it takes to deserve them.

Look to yourself before getting mouthy with the 'establishment'. Can't even take a breather to stop bitching and barking at 'THE MAN'.

Pretty obvious name for an obvious government agent. Welcome to ignore.

Funny thing... I have lived in Russia, under a... Different attempt at democracy. This was 2007. Quite a learning experience.

I don't sit around bitching about that man. I quietly recognize there are problems, and few of the general public seem to care. I never said I had any knowledge of how to change things.

I'm making this list soon! Remember the name  Tongue

well, that'll be no mean feat, remembering your name - it's the site of the gold strike that started the 1849 gold rush in california, isn't it?

I keep thinking I should build a scrypt rig instead of trying to get more Btc asics...
1060  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 17, 2014, 12:53:56 AM
