Wouldn't it increase bitcoin's trade value with increased difficulty to mine?

The way the difficulty adjusts, it can't really effect the price in and of it self. Now people trying to sell the coin they earn will effect price, but downward.

Migration effecting payout? Mines almost double the threshold I have set.

Pool luck is now at 53%, 81%, 102%.

the other pool i mine on, ozcoin, isn't doing any better. lucky to see two blocks a day the last week. i'm really considering moving to one of the larger pools, much as i hate it... i gotta have the coin.

Did ya land the job?   Wish ya luck.

yea, got the job. just waiting on the background check to be completed before they can schedule me.

I can lend another coin if you are still in a pinch. I will give you even lower rates.

lets talk in pm.

Now, technically, we should all still get what our hash dictates, right? Not what this implies? Although now they I think of it that might be the same thing. Is it?

"Take it from an American, to many of us it sounds that way too. And their obliviousness to how they sound is the most frustrating part."

+1

+1 again... People regularly disgust me.

Whatever. I have exhausted the spirit of pure reason and no longer care argue about these ill conceived bitcoin-investments.  Angry Cheesy Angry

i dont think any of us said we'd be investing... just watching. not like we can do elsewise, really. can't stop it. not in our hands.

Between cvs giftcard and selling btc and withdrawing to my paypal, i am very much living purely from btc monies the last few months.

I just need more... :-D

With paypal we can't know if you get loaned and paid back.

Hmm. Well, if i paid back in BTC there'd be that transaction. Hmm.

Well, I for one am not looking for any rep out of this.   So its really up to arklan if he's concerned about that.   Perhaps he can post in here once he received the paypal funds that he did indeed receive them.   Then there will also be the repayment transaction.   I can go either way, no big deal to me.

So Arklan, just let me know your final decision, paste in what you emailed me minus the paypal email address, then I'll send it over.   After you receive it, please post in here that you have received it.

If you decide to go BTC way due to what marcovaldo has said, then let me know and we can arrange that.

i'm with you. not too concerned about the rep. will worry about that later.

anyway:
I agree to accept a loan of USD sent to my paypal address in the amount of 1 btc at the exchange rate of btce to be repaid by me in the amount of 1.1 BTC.

Done.  I have sent 121.61 USD as per current BTC-e pricing for 1 BTC.   Please acknowledge receipt.  Repayment to be as agreed at 1.1 BTC.

Confirmed. Thanks!

BTW, it sounded like money for groceries your in a crunch, cash via paypal would be best for you time wise.    If you want to only deal in BTC.  I will do the same deal I proposed earlier but in BTC.  1 BTC for 1.1 BTC payback, whenever you can.

The only catch is you'll have to wait until my next wire clears in the exchange.  Should be about 4 days.

Deal! Pay pal is preferred, actually  I'll pm you my email

As to my name being Scandinavian, nope. I made it up, based on what i was reading as a teen. Lord of the Rings and such. Used it as online name at forums and games, and eventually just changed it.

Dollar General does background checks? Huh

i know!! i've moved a lot in the last few years, and changed my legal name in 2005 (kevin clark fullmer to arklan uth oslin) so it's taking forever. at least i assume that's the hold up, cause i've never been arrested or anything. had a parking ticket once, but i paid it ages ago...
