hey, when passing out drunk, a wind and rain free cave would do the trick...

todays depressing thought: june of 2012 i finally began using my mined bitcoin - i only had about 20. ended up buying some games and selling some and using the fiat to see movies or buy food and the like. to make no mention of the btc i've mined/earned after that point... that be worth, even now, $16000... more then i'll make at my actual job in the next year.
...i really hate hindsight sometimes.

crash to twice previous ATH at worst right? That's about what BTC normally does isn't it?
You are using BTC and "normally" in the same sentence? isn't this already past? i mean, gox hit what, 570? and double 266 (the previous ATH) is... well, ok, so it was close.

So i need a Reservation or is buying a Ticket enough?
Otherwise reserve one for the beginning party of the exiting bitcoin age
Reservation is not obligatory. it just helps us to figure out demand. On that note, I won't be able to make it. Price simply rose too fast to get the stash I wanted, can't really justify spending a full coin the way things are developing. same, sadly. i just had to cash out .07 btc for groceries this week, and that near wiped me out.

Hmm. Looking at the payouts, my last two attempts are no longer in process, but deleted entirely, leaving my balance 0. Yet the payout for the incorrect 136 Btc is still showing in process. Wtf?
Your telling us that you had attempted to withdrawal the full balance Not once but twice?? no, i'm telling you i requested a payout of the (then correct) payout, which never happened but showed as in process, the incorrect amount (which i had no intention of keeping, mind you) and then another payout, which i think was correct as well, from my mining before i read about the trouble. i'm owed about .04 btc. that's all.

Lol, look at the 2011 one.

Actually that matches my own observations, the bit about the balances being multiplied by 10000. My total earned on the site is precisely that much higher then the reality should have it.
Which still has me owed merely 0.05 Btc ish, but still.

The ISP of bitcoincharts was hit with a DDOS, and it blackholed many sites to mediate the problem. The site is back up.
I have opened a dialog with the site admin, hopefully this will result in an API that will continue to work for applications such as sierrachartfeed.
Awesome. I was worried id be stuck without... My second monitor just wouldn't be the same.

alas, the streaming api is down either, clearly we need a p2p solution.
agreement.

so, in short, we're screwed?

Excellent, everything is going according to plan.... For the last time, will you please quit trying to break all of space and time. Thanks. wibbly wobbly, timey wimey?

Finally it's interesting to see some of those complaining about being ripped off have been good enough to post screenshots of themselves trying to rip off the pool by attempting to withdraw coins that weren't theirs.
As one of the two people who posted a screenshot, I feel your burn. However, I assume that any pool operator would be at least a little bit smart, and not payout $200k+ of coins to anyone based on an obviously corrupt database (they admit this in their news reports). So I did not and do not expect a payout like that in any case. Agreed, I just want my .05 or so.
