221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest Crime in cryptocurrency on: May 24, 2019, 11:25:33 PM
Nothing will ever top Mt.Gox if you are talking about the amount of bitcoins stolen.
222  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Why the market is falling and why not be afraid on: May 24, 2019, 11:22:10 PM
So many things can cause the market price to fall.
But I am never worried or afraid because I have confidence in the cryptocurrency Market .
I believe that bitcoin still has a long way to go regarding it's potentials.

Bitcoin and crypto currency market is going great and these days bitcoins and altcoins are slowly moving upwards. If this positive trends continue, i am sure we will see 10,000$ Bitcoin price very soon

I'm very bullish about bitcoin so I would agree with your observation or prediction. I even posted a thread about bitcoin having its 7th weeks consecutive of having greens.

$5k is possible within this year, market is moving, money coming in slowly and the overall sentiments of people are very positive. So no doubt that $10k is within reach. You might be surprise if we hit above that before the end of the year.  Grin.

Funny how fast the sentiment can change, now 10k is considered a low price.  People are already calling for new time highs after this last price jump.
223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB overtake ETH? POLL on: May 24, 2019, 11:09:35 PM
Not a chance of this happening.  Ethereum has a solid position in 2nd behind bitcoin.  It has one of the best decentralized mining networks with GPUs instead of Asics.  It also has the most developers working on Dapps for their platform.  Eth is just a much better investment than BNB.
224  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: May 24, 2019, 11:04:42 PM
My best pick is Campaign, if you're lucky and get a good bounty to work on the pay is quite good also I like trading to but am not very good at that, don't have the patience to wait
But that is the problem with bounty campaigns, you are relying on your luck, you are hoping that you are going to select the right ico at the right time and while this was relatively easy during 2017 now it is a lot harder, even now that the price of bitcoin has recovered during the last months people are still not investing in icos, many people have lost everything they invested in those coins and they are not going to forget it, at least I wont.

And any new investors that could be interested in doing so are going to be warned by people in the forum and other websites that is not such a good idea, so the future of bounty campaigns looks dire in my opinion.

There is room for a lot of new investors and ICOs will never die.  It isn't luck either, if you put in the time and research you can still find projects that give you 100x return on your initial investment.

I'm not giving up on altcoins and I'm always on the hunt for new and exciting projects that peak my interest.
225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴[ANN][IEO] TeleCoin - annonymous p2p cryptocurrency [LIVE NOW]🔴 on: May 24, 2019, 11:01:19 PM
there is still time before the end of May, so while we are currently awaiting the release of the beta platform, and there we will see
The end of May promises to be very eventful and release for project TeleCoin. I am really looking forward to all the good news and I believe that TeleCoin project will be fine!
For the project to be in order, you just need to release the wallet, release some positive news, and then correctly run IEO on one of the best exchanges.

The problem is exchanges are charging a lot of money to run an IEO so unless you have inside connections to one of the big exchanges you will be stuck dealing with one of those lower end exchanges that are not trustworthy.  Its a rough game to try to break into.
226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitMEX Fund - Ethereum Smart Contract BitMEX Trading Fund on: May 24, 2019, 10:59:26 PM
Looks like a definite scam trying to lure sheep into his trap.  If you are so successful with bitmex trading why would you need outside funds when you could rapidly grow your own money with compounding.
227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you prefer? Sportsbet or casino on: May 24, 2019, 10:55:00 PM
how do you play gambling? What is your purphase? Earning money or spending time ?

People gamble to expect something in return.

There is no way they will just gamble just to spend time. They are just saying it but surely they want good results either sports bettting, casino, etc.

Anyways what's the purpose of this thread? Surveys? Collecting info's?

I believed there are lots of related threads like this already.

A lot of people genuinely enjoy the experience and adrenaline rush.  It isn't always about the money but that is definitely a motivator for a lot of us, lol.
228  Other / Off-topic / Re: What are your favorite websites? on: May 24, 2019, 10:49:46 PM
PornHub Smiley

Hah, at least you actually admitted it because I'm sure that is mot people's favorite website to visit.  The data out there whitewashes the true numbers as most internet users visit porn sites the most often.
229  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy btc with cash on: May 24, 2019, 10:46:18 PM
I want to buy some BTC with cash locally, the seller i found says : "send BTC to your wallet. After 1 confirmation On blockchain, collector takes from the table cash."
Is this enough  to be sure i will receive the bitcoin sold me? Or its better to wait for 2 confirmations?
There are some places that started selling "bitcoin cards" if I am not wrong, they are on some sort of grocery store type places in our country (think of wallmart as a global example) and right on the cashier place there is bitcoin cards just like apple store cards and psn store cards, that seems like a great way to buy bitcoin.

I don't know how they do it and I don't know how it works since I haven't bought it and since the price of bitcoin keeps changing all the time I am not sure how much they are willing to sell it for since if the price goes up they would profit more from just keeping those cards but in the end those type of products will make sure you are making a profit. Bitcoin atm and localbitcoin is still the clear favorites of course in this scenario.

I think you just redeem the card on their website and whatever the price is at the time of redemption is the conversion rate that you receive.
230  Other / Off-topic / Re: What handmade goods do you like? on: May 24, 2019, 10:43:29 PM
I do like to purchase original artwork if the price is reasonable.  Some artists out there are charging way too much for a painting when you can just hang a photograph instead.

I also like to buy furniture that isn't mass produced and has a unique feeling to it.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are the strong candidates who will get this year's Ballon D'or trophy? on: May 24, 2019, 10:41:23 PM
Hmm, this is difficult question. Let's see my list:
- Ronaldo
- Messi
- Neymar
Failed at UCL and WC so a big no.

- van Dijk, potential UCL winner
A defender.

- Modric, WC runner up
- Hazard, WC 3rd pos, good EPL stats
No trophies

- Mbappe, WC & Ligue 1 winner, Ligue 1 top goalscorer
- Salah, EPL top goalscorer & potential UCL winner
So between these two strikers, I would recommend Mbappe Smiley

The award should go to the best player, it doesn't matter how well their team performs.  This is a team sport, You can be the best player in the world but there is only so much you can do when there are 10 other people on the field with you.  I would still give it to Ronaldo.
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: May 24, 2019, 10:37:19 PM
I fly to Madrid next Friday morning. I’m there until 3rd June, hoping I have the time of my life (including the right result for me of course).

I haven’t managed to get tickets yet but I still have a few people who might be able to get them for me. The prices are obscene, I’ve never struggled to get tickets before. It was easy for Kiev last season.

Congratulations on your team making the final and I hope you are able to land some tickets at a somewhat reasonable price.  Even if I was a millionaire I don't think I would spend that much on a ticket but we all have things that we are passionate about that are worth spending for.
233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we not abusing decentralization? on: May 24, 2019, 10:34:48 PM
Some people came to blockchain just go get rich quick while others actually believe in the real principles of decentralization.  It is all about being in complete control of your money and no one can take it away.  this is the opposite of a traditional bank, they can do whatever the government tells them to do with your money.
234  Economy / Economics / Re: Price of goods goes up, salary never goes up!!! on: May 24, 2019, 10:32:17 PM

Over the past 30 years, salary never goes up, I know because I saw the salary today is same as my first salary 30 years ago, I’m not disclosing my age, so don’t be too paranoia, but the price of everything goes up thru the roof, the only person who salary goes up are (ikr, salary must kept secret because it is case sensitive, don’t tell anyone else!), ok, enough rant! Try to tell your kids to work for a salary in the future, I think they could barely afford a piece of beard!!

End of story! Ciao!
The price of goods goes up automatically, but as for your salary you will have to ask for it, if you need an increase in salary and you think you deserve it. Hardly will you see any employer that is ready do an increase for you without you asking for it cause they will assume that you're okay with what you're being paid, so for that they wouldn't give you any increase in salary.

So if you know your worth and you know that the salary you're being paid is not worth it, then its up to you to talk about it with your boss or whoever you're meant to talk to about it. Another way your salary can be increased is through promotion and sometimes that means that you're getting double work than what you work before, and the increase after then might still not be worth it cause of the work that has been doubled up.

Part of the problem is companies busting up unions that try to fight for fair wages.  Companies like Wal Mart will fire anyone that even talks about forming a union.  They have lots of anti-union propaganda at their job orientations as well.
235  Other / Off-topic / Re: Teslas to incorporate Blockchain???? on: May 24, 2019, 10:29:20 PM
Elon Musk seems to be open to crypto, he is always posting about it on twitter.  He even made a joke on April Fool's day that he is the creator of doge coin. All that being sad, he doesn't even own a significant amount of crypto consider he is a multi billionaire.
236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tottenham Vs LiverPool UEFA Final on: May 24, 2019, 09:29:40 PM
Its good to see two English teams back in the final after La Liga teams have been dominating champions league.  I still remember the glorious days of Steven Gerrard at Liverpool.  He still remains the face of the team over all the current players and it was sad to see him go to Major League Soccer in America.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Steven Wright: A False Prophet in Crypto on: May 24, 2019, 09:27:09 PM
All he had to do was sign the early private keys and he failed to.  Of course there is speculation that Dave had those keys and they are lost.  CSW was definitely around those early bitcoin guys but if he really had a role in the creation remains to be seen.  I'll admit that I do sometimes watch his Youtube videos though.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 61-year Old Chinese Grandma Convicted For Stealing Electricity To Mine Bitcoin on: May 24, 2019, 09:26:00 PM
The risk vs reward wasn't worth it for her if she really wanted to break the low.  She got a decent amount of jail time and she only earned a few scraps of bitcoin.  I do agree with other posters that it is amazing that an old lady was actually going around mining bitcoin when most people still don't even know what it is.
239  Other / Off-topic / Re: I discovered a baldness cure on: May 24, 2019, 09:23:35 PM
If you really found a cure for this it would be worth billions of dollars, you would easily become one of the wealthiest people in the world.  But if the cure was natural and couldn't be patented you wouldn't make a dime off of it and none of those pharma companies would be interested either if they couldn't package and sell it.
240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with your Parents on: May 24, 2019, 09:21:20 PM
Although parents differs, my parent will never wanted to hear or see me close to a gambling center because they always preach against the spirit involved in gambling. I believe that many other parent will do likewise but not 70% will do. My gambling life is secrete and will keep it secret until they found out themselves. Gambling with ones parent to me doesn't make any sense and the gambler won't enjoy it.
Good parenting will always do that, they will not allow their kids to do things that they knew will only have bad effects with them when they grow up, gambling will not bring anything good but else it will possible to get addictions, so I believe loving parents will not allow this to happen.

Definitely they are good parent but children's need some fun or entertainment which can be gotten from gambling too. Gambling makes children increase in their intelligence and recommended for children at school. Not that i gamble too much but i do gamble occasionally.

Gambling is really just another form of entertainment like video games or the movies.  As long as your not losing your rent money I don't see an issue with family bonding over gambling.  That is basically what board games like monopoly are except you are using fake money instead of real money.
