This thread is insane. A few comments for the developers:
1. Stop spending all your time blaming your customers for their mistakes. Yes, we get it - you're unhappy they didn't read the instructions and it's caused you a bunch of extra work. However, when tons of people do it, perhaps the problem was in the quality of the instructions. This should be of special concern to a company who's key goal is to build a simple easy-to-use interface.
2. Stop using this thread and Slack as your only means of communications. You have a website. Use it to post updates where everyone can see them, instead of people having to hunt through message boards to find the latest news. Your website hasn't been updated at all since the crowdsale ended. Posting updates is not hard - or at least, it shouldn't be for people who saying they can set up a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange. And it's a whole hell of a lot more efficient that posting individual responses to a bunch of message board posts.
3. Don't do ridiculous things like post on twitter that people can get their money back, without any explanation of why you're suddenly offering that service or what has changed. A medium that limits you to 140 characters and is not remotely read by the majority of your investors is not the appropriate venue for a gigantic piece of news like that.
EDIT: You also have everyone's email addresses when they signed up for your Crowdsale. That's another route to communicating with people that ensures that everyone sees it instead of just whoever's on these random forums.
You raised upwards of $7 million from a lot of people. That's great and means a lot of people believe in your project. You have to now act like the leaders of a legitimate company, instead of acting like children on a message board and being annoyed that people want information about the money they gave you. You have a responsibility to communicate openly and clearly with the people that put their faith in you and invested in you.
Hello, we never complained about anyone, this is why we are answering to everyone on slack and try to provide as much support as possible, answering to everyone, sending sheets with informations. We don't complain about the investors, and are happy to help them and support them, and even solve each one's issue on a 1 by 1 model. They trusted us, now it is up to us to proof our capacities, and to show how gratefull we are. Actually, there are 531 transactions who require our attention, while when we started, there was 650 good transactions, which is a good evolution. Regarding the participants who didn't found their transaction in the sheet and used Electrum, do not worry about it, it is due to change address management, and it matched the filtering pattern.
We are creating themes in order to sort all the issues. Do not worry for that, Yani and I had helped someone to recover its private key from a stuck multibit wallet.
When the first distribution will be sent, we will focus on the second one.

well, according to this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1917456.msg19826834#msg19826834the total amount sent over to the BTC paid addresses should be (1590.919664 / 3055.120324) * 15000000 = 7811081.86559267 however according to the sum of all "to be sent" NVSTs in the csv file you just attached it's 7074197.307, https://pastebin.com/rTEcXkx3I guess the rest is of those who sent from exchange or don't have privkey by other means however... I just found some of the larger investors, for example this one https://blockchain.info/tx/1e0965e29be4fbb45b904992196ef8c7b097ed4548fc3c7b06081f3cab796d31and according to the math, he's supposed to be getting (3.994 / 3055.120324) * 15000000 = 19609.70228549 NVST, however he's getting "only" 19609.19088767, I know, it's not that much of a difference, it's actually ~99.99739212% (looking at other investments it's probably the same) which means that roughly 15000000 - 0.9999739212*15000000 = 391.182 NVST are either lost, or went to the "late investors" (from this sheet only) not trying to flame or anything, I just love math and am a little bit uneasy when numbers don't add up... aaand using this code https://pastebin.com/1MvRb3cL on the CSV you can see that supposedly none of the payouts actually match up (more.csv and normal.csv are blank), according to this total amount of distributed NVSTs is 99.997392117% of supposed amount Nice snippets, even if the precision isn't 100%, at least it is really close to, the problem here is due to the decimals of each crypto, ethereum for example had to be counted with 18 decimals, ripple with 6, litecoin dash doge with 8. We tried to be as close to the 100% as possible.

Hello guys, sorry for not been as present, we are working hard for the distribution, and i had to drink a lot to get some rest for the last month. The wants to thank everyone again for the participation and support. I saw a lot of people speculating about the price, how about betting for a 5$ on exchange listing. Honestly i had to recover a feature i lost, sleeping, i may have slept 10 hours during the last 3 days, but it is enough to realise this step. I would like to ask the community to maintain a good price in exchange, i want the participants to be happy and confident to keep the energy, state of minde, happiness, strengh, rage to realise this project. We care a lot about the participants and the community, we thank the participants, supporters, even the haters. It is true the crowdsale is a success, and for that, our release will be a trophy. Problem with ICO is when it hits exchange it can dump and investor who buy through crowdsale will have less reward than those who wait to buy on exchange for half the price.You will probably get twice as much NVO on exchange when it trades for same amount spent through crowdsale.Not saying this will happen here but look at notable ICO's like waves platform etc.

The most important is not to send from wallet services like blockchain.info, coinmama or exchanges like poloniex, bittrex, or services like gambling. The bitcoins must be sent from the entered address on the dashboard, and this address have to be a private bitcoin address whom you own the private key. Because you will receive the Tokens into the address you send from.
I have sent from https://wallet.counterwallet.io/after exporting the private key. I hope this is OK  otherwise please instruct me what can I do to resolve the problem?  Thanks. Nothing more to instruct, you did it the right way.

It doesn't have a balance because originally, people were confused about it, and though it was their address.
I really hope the devs stagger their crypto sells at the conclusion of this ICO.
Also, I think if I ever manage to start up a coin and go ICO I will definitely figure out a way to either explain better or code around the whole "can't fund ICO from exchanges" thing, it is not that complicated once understood but half the thread is about this and I'm pretty sure they could have raised a lot more funding without the confusion. Anyway, a day out and nvo looks like it's going to be a funding success, here's to the devs following through on their plans for a future exchange!
Thanks for the feedback, you are right somehow, but the problem is that it is not as easy as what you think, there is a lot of users who still relies on web services to use Bitcoin, that's why the concept of the crowdsale is kind of difficult to understand for some. Usually you login, click on some buttons, and then you have address to send to, after that you have your tokens. The NVO crowdsale is different.

I have the same question. I send bitcoin yesterday. Transaction is confimed by bitcon network. But there is no bitcoin balance in nvo.io no zero no nothing. Why? Alcoins show just zero balance and they should because I have not made any deposit by them. But why there is no bitcoin balance? See the first post ^

The crowdsale is nearing its end, 3days left, I would like to start the phase No2, we are looking for consulting developers to check the development specifications.
A knowledge of the solutions proposed by blockstream is greatly desired. We avoided using Ethereum for security reasons, because in case of a flaw, it would be possible to extract the funds from the wallets, which would lead to a scenario like the DAO. Waves has not yet implemented such functions.

I am not accusing them of anything and I have ZERO information that says they are scammers. I am just saying their should be as much transparency as possible with escrow agents. I just looked at "BLAZED" userid, basically there is no information except he/she lives in the USA. Their names should be public, their email addresses should be public, their gender should be public, their ages, where they live.
I looked at the wallet link you provided. It's okay. But it shows DASH as zero. Why can't they just publish the public wallet address for transparency purposes? If I knew the DASH wallet address I could go look and see that the funds are there. At this moment I have to trust you when you said the system is performing a reset. I think publishing the public wallet addresses is a reasonable request.
Another good question to ask is are the escrow agents bonded?
Transparency would also work in the future to prove that they are only releasing the appropriate amount based on milestones achieved (30,30,30,10).

Seriously, regarding what you said about escrows, Bernard sent all the informations you spoke, and yet he scamed people. the personal informations of an escrow doesn't protects you from scams, this is why they are trusted based on their reputation and efficiency. The problem with publishing the addresses is that nobody will check 160k addresses. Regarding DASH, we droped the table earlier to resynchronise the balances, this is why they don't appear, it will finish soon. Regarding the Milestones, you will be able to see the amounts sent from a single address, and do the calculations from there and follow the releases. |

The escrow agents should post wallet addresses to see that the funds are there. Investors could then search the wallet to make sure their investment is recorded. A lot of the messages on this site are people saying they can't see their investment. This would help resolve that problem.
The escrows are trusted because the community haven't had issues with them and how much they helped the community. Some of them have held a lot more funds. They never scamed anyone. Blazed is the second most trusted user in the forum, and his ID is public. Lauda is a famous because it is a former moderator, and known to be a scam buster. Minerjones have escrowd ARK and its ID is public. Coinpayments if a famous payment processor. Could just be a bug, remember they are developing as we speak. I would assume it is fine unless stated otherwise. The API have been reset to refresh the addresses informations, the process will end in some hours and the balances will be displayed again. |
