My VPM miners are going down . You are welcome as well. No blocks = No fun Anybody know what god to pray to in order to mine a block? I'm thinking I've got the wrong one Time to start doing pooled mining. yPool had a bit of a drought when I first started yesterday, but is now finding lots of blocks. Hey Salfter. Could you post a screenshot from the v.0.2.1 miner? Screenshot? What about the src Here is the source: https://github.com/jh000/jhPrimeminer

I have been getting blocks steadily at a specific rate each day. Anyone want to know how?
I might as well be the first one to ask. How? Let me guess [picture snip][picture snip] Testnet!! Close enough

One month almost passed, when will the payment begin?
Has anybody gotten paid yet? I'm expecting payment tomorrow

Jeez it looks like a lot has happened when I was away. So, do you just set the sieve size in the primecoin.conf file? Also what is the optimal sieve size?

Are you using a service provider such Amazon? If yes, how much does it cost you to run that per hour?

Solution: Hire an escrow service.
recommendations? would it still work for pre-orders? i think he doesnt have an account here. John K is the most credible and trusted escrow around here.

Are you using mikaelh's build?
Yes. New York?

Getting over 11,000 PPS running three 4-core droplets (3x - 4x speed increase), one of them found two blocks in the last 30 mins.
Are you using mikaelh's build?

I ran some more tests on testnet, this time with mikaelh's builds:
hp1: 25 blocks found in 28.77 minutes = 0.878 blocks/minute
hp2: 49 blocks in 21.4 minutes = 2.29 blocks/minute
hp1: 6 blocks in 12.4 minutes = 0.484 b/m
hp2 is looking much better. I ran hp1 twice, once before and once after the hp2 run, to see if the first run was bad luck but it seems not.
These numbers should be taken with a grain of salt, they were run on testnet which has a pretty low amount of processing power run on it. So if someone with a nice machine was mining will I was testing hp1 it could have thrown off those numbers. I do not know how to tell what's happening on the network as far as total processing power or the number of other miners at this point.
I'll still be running hp2 though.
What is hp1 & hp2? The version of the build. HP2 is the latest one.

so what's the verdict on this build - worth it?
It was worth it 5 hours ago but now it's pretty difficult to find a block. However this is probably the best build out there at the moment.

Wow, on a crappy A8-3520M i started up for kicks, I'm getting about 3000PPS.
how can you check how much you are getting? Look at primespersec. use/type the command in the debug window: getmininginfo i see that number but how many coins does that translate into? im getting 4052 PPS doesn't translate to a specific number of coins for example: My 8 core Digital Ocean VPS: 2300PPS = 3Blocks My i7 Extreme Laptop: 3500PPS = 1 Block My 4 core Digital Ocean droplet gets 300pps. What does your getmininginfo say? I don't have a 4 core on Digital Ocean I meant your 8 core. 2300PPS + using the HP2 build.

I think it took me around an hour to create a block but I can't remember exactly.

can we gpu mine this yet?
GPU Mining is currently not supported. teka how do we mine this? like regular bitcoin and litecoin? thanks Check out this build: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255782.0 In my opinion it offers the best performance at the moment. I know but how do i mine with it? do i run cgminer? I personally just run the standard wallet with the following setting in the primecoin.conf: rpcuser=WarMachine rpcpassword=WarMachineRox gen=1 fyi, I don't actually use that username and password.
