2222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: French ASIC miner company ehsminer.com on: September 02, 2014, 07:07:21 AM
I believe their 1 Gh/s scrypt(-N) miner is very, excessively expensive. Do you? Who will buy it?..

Dear Miasma,

We are waiting for testing results of the S4 sample machine. Hopefully there will be good news before next Tuesday.

Cool. But what is L1, appeared at your website?  Roll Eyes
2224  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: September 01, 2014, 06:52:39 AM
Rabi,

With all my due respect...you sounds like a little retarded... Grin

Just kidding... Wink

ZiG
Well... Funny.

Right until you'll do the same mistake. Then it will be my turn to laugh, but I will not.  Cool
2225  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: September 01, 2014, 02:00:30 AM
Pics or it didn't happen.

PCI-e power connectors are keyed so they only fit one way. If it was possible, we'd have read dozens of stories just like this over the past year.

Unless you have gorilla-strength and are able to force square pegs into round holes, then it's impossible.
I know, I know. It sounds increbible...  Angry
2226  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: August 31, 2014, 06:04:20 PM
Well, I could easyly plug them in upside down and burn out S2's stock PSU. It's being repaired now. I never thought that this is possible to do with PCI-E connectors.  Undecided

sorry about that, but don't PCI-e connectors have latches to show orientation?
Yeah, now I know that the latches are the guideline on the way to plug it correctly... I saw them right after short-curcuiting my PSU.  Angry Shame on me...  Embarrassed
2227  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: August 31, 2014, 06:13:17 AM
PCIe connectors are supposed to be keyed to fit one way...unless, of course, it's forced in.
Well, I could easyly plug them in upside down and burn out S2's stock PSU. It's being repaired now. I never thought that this is possible to do with PCI-E connectors.  Undecided
2228  Local / Mining (Deutsch) / Re: Bitmain AntMiner L1 - Was mag da kommen? on: August 30, 2014, 01:46:15 PM
presuming the "MH" is not a typo it seems pretty obvious

Or it might be a very low-level miner ;-P
AntMiner S1 (S2, S3) - for SHA-256 mining.
L1 (L2? L3?) - for Litecoin mining.  Roll Eyes
2229  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer S3 support and OverClocking thread on: August 30, 2014, 01:41:52 PM
as the new firmware has been noted for reverting the OC.
Why does it works normally on my S3s?..

After update the firmware, go to the miner configuration tab and click on advance settings.  You can change the clock speed there.
And press "Save&Apply" button to get it working at desireable frequency.  Roll Eyes
2230  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer S3 support and OverClocking thread on: August 30, 2014, 05:19:08 AM
hello all, i have a stubborn s3 that will not accept OC...the frequency remains at the stock 218.75.   i have tried selecting 237, 250, etc.  and i cannot OC.  i am plagued by the 218.75 frequency.  any suggestions ?
Yep. Update a firmware from Bitmain's site and overclock your S3(s) via web-interface.  Cool
2231  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Hashra moonraker on: August 29, 2014, 07:18:12 AM
is true or scam?
Wen I'll se a review or happy byuers replies - I'll make a conclusion whether this is scam or not...  Roll Eyes

Pre-orders are a thing of the past, it's better and safer to buy a miner in stock or a hosted one.

Pre-orers is not a serious business IMHO. When someone need money to create some product it's better for his  image to find an investor(s).... But their greed makes them looking to us, their potential customers...

Nah, i think Hashra will deliver  Grin

You need at least tracking number to think in that way. )
2232  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Hacking BFL Monarchs to.... Well, I have no idea..... :-) on: August 29, 2014, 07:12:37 AM
Guys, almost 3k USD for 1 Th. WHY do you need it?..  Undecided
2233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO.RS - DDoS protected - Low latency, worldwide nodes - NEW MINER! on: August 28, 2014, 08:35:13 AM
Why it was necessary to release a proprietary miner with hardcoded pool's IP?  Undecided
2234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [INF8] Infinium-8. Privacy-centric & CPU-mining on: August 28, 2014, 04:48:21 AM
this is a great coin, and no one knows about it!
Hmm, looks like Monero fork because of some reason...  Roll Eyes
2235  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: FS: 4U Antminer S1 / S3 8 blades case on: August 27, 2014, 04:40:12 AM
Will someone offer a case for 2 S3s since they were sold in pairs?
2236  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: August 27, 2014, 03:17:20 AM
energy_vortex, in your case it's better and faster to send an e-mail to Bitmain... info@bitmaintech.com

Bitmain, do you plan to release a new version of firmware for S2 (which could include latest cgminer with all possible optimisations and improvememts) and S3 (which could in addition be more fast (i mean user interface now, but if this new FW will rise hashing speed.....), convenient and stable)? Please don't forget about aftersales support... And yes, maybe once again - about GPL terms.  Cool
2237  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 【SOLD OUT】The last Batch of AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner, Now $1595 per unit on: August 26, 2014, 03:30:44 AM
Anyone who knows where to get a full set of cables for stock PSU (Enermax Revolution87+ ERV1000EWT-G) please let me know. I've replaced it with Corsair AX1200i just like most of us I suppose, And I want to use this "free" PSU to power my 2 S3s...

Bitmain refused to send it to me for some reason, but they should have these spare cables from lots of these PSUs IMHO... I was ready even pay for shipment...  Embarrassed
2238  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Looking to Get into Bitcoin mining but i don't know what hardware to get on: August 25, 2014, 12:33:35 AM
Probably XBTec hardware will be a good choice too. They have already send the first generation of their miner to Dogie: http://goo.gl/uI6GK1, and the specs of the second generation looking more interesting: http://www.xbtec.io/products/pacific-v2
2239  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: s3 firmware upgrade procedure on: August 25, 2014, 12:27:10 AM
Why don't you just upgrade a firmware via web interface?  Undecided
2240  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: btcgarden-AM-v1 down to $0.68/GHs. In stock for international selling! on: August 24, 2014, 04:50:18 PM
Hi
it is a set of 2

so you will receive 2 packages but only on Raspberry  Wink
I understand, but it's curious that the package is smaller than the length of two miners (or that's their height?).  Cheesy
