Hitbtc currently 502 Bad Gateway....

Anyone can help? is there any other way? Thanks

Times without number this has been said and I will repeat it move your funds away from exchange so that you don't give yourself High blood pressure over technical glitch or even a shut down completely. I use HiBTc (and several other people including the poser after you but his response seems calmer) for my trading activities but I don't even know whether they shut down or doing maintenance because my life is not dependent on their continued operation but people like you wont listen and I am sure if same thing should happen tomorrow, you run to the forum to get answers. Protect yourself before its too late. No exchange site is the safest.
2222  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Can we sign up to bittrex without verification? on: December 14, 2017, 10:44:09 AM
Do they require phone number?

Swim got bitfinex and polo account both anonymous.

Recently because I use the same phone number at bittrex Swim end up having to tell them my passport and stuff.

That sucks.

Oneday bittrex may notify my government that Swim  have Bitcoins. Swim is screwed.

Swim wants to create another bittrex account anonymously.

Do they require phone number?
If you have been reading about that is going on with Bitfinex and other major sites, phone number will be the least of information you have to provide which will even be verified before anything can be done.

Swim wants to create another bittrex account anonymously.

The crypto market has gone beyond this point and the site you are focusing on are the ones who can do without you and they are big enough to get the attention of regulatory authority which force them to do the right thing.

Even if you manage to get a new phone number will you also get a new passport and ID?  Mind you in verifying your account they don't only cross check the phone number with their database but also every details you are providing for that effect. If you then register and you have to verify before withdrawal, it then means you either comply or forfeit your funds with this condition that you have accepted in their Terms and Conditions.

Your fear of releasing your details to the government is valid because all that will be needed is the right court judgement and warrant then you are good to face whatever the government is bring against you.
2223  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: December 14, 2017, 10:02:42 AM
I have been using your mixer for a long time, and now there is a problem, because of my computer, it lagged
I am waiting for your answer 3 days already
I started to worry, please, help me as soon as possible  Cry (Check your mail )

It would be nice to give an update on this issue so that if its being resolved it will pose further confidence in the mind of a new person who is coming to the thread for the first time and wanting to make a decision based on the latest review. One advantage that ChipMixer has is timely response to clients issues and I hope that has not change. Hopefully, you check back again and update this.
2224  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Paxful question on: December 14, 2017, 07:59:37 AM
Hi just wondering is anyone could tell me if i can send bitcoins from my greenwallet to my paxful wallet? Thanks in advance
Also if trading on there with skrill and neteller would they ban my skrill account if funds transfered to me was from hack accounts etc. how safe are they any recommendations

Yes you can send your bitcoin to Paxful as it operates like normal wallet the only thing there is that you don't have the keys to the wallet in case you transfer bitcoins there so you try to transfer only the amount you wanted to trade. On the other whether Skrill or Netteller will ban your account, yes because this payment processors have it in their terms and have been known to be hostile towards bitcoin but that doesn't mean that people are not engaging in it which you can equally do on Paxful.

Paxful is safe as I have traded sold there before. Just ensure you follow the rules strictly and dont be tricked to deal outside Paxful since your are new as there are scammers all over the globe looking for newbies to take advantage of.
2225  Economy / Lending / Re: 500$ loan. on: December 14, 2017, 06:40:08 AM
Eh, no idea what happened with the rating, I never traded something here.

You don't need to trade here to be untrustworthy.

We send you $500, you abandon the account.  :/

Yes, I understand, but like I mentioned, I am not experienced in this kind of trade, I know there are a lot of people trying to earn something through different low schemes but I am not one of them, I am opened to offers.

You said you are new here but you didn't even bother to educate yourself on how things are done. I really don't understand someone coming into the forum new and you didn't see any other section of the forum to visit of amounts that we have ( the Beginners and Help Section very key) but your attention is to the lending section and not only to read what is going on there but to create a thread and ask for loan? Common man, its not done any where in the world.

Now you earn a red I doubt if you will get the offer you are still open to because the possibility of that happening is Zero.
2226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will people lose intrest? on: December 14, 2017, 04:11:01 AM
Hello!

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?

The moment bitcoin goes down, a lot of alts will surely take the hit and go down as well. Today, a lot of people who are into crypto currency only knows about bitcoin and even me, it was when I got to the forum I knew the existence of other coins but because bitcoin acceptance is beyond the people on the forum, it points to the fact they just lose interest in everything that happens in the crytpo world.

Aside that, a study of the relationship between bitcoin and other alts even suggests that when bitcoin price goes higher, it has a rub off effect on other coins and if it goes lower, the impact can be massive on alts. So, only few people will believe in alt and the market will be puged greatly as only few of the alts I see standing.
2227  Other / Meta / Re: Sub Forum for Bitcoin Forks on: December 13, 2017, 09:48:43 PM
Can you make a new Sub Forum for all Bitcoin Forks Topics?

I think its a good idea if the forum administration can look into it so that it will be a repository of information concerning forks because in the coming days, its going to be massive that we would even forget the numbers we have and anyone who wants any information will go there rather that threads in the bitcoin discussion and alt coin discussion that would be created to address the same issue. At the same time, it gives room for tracking and how to claim in case you just wake up one day and in need for new money via the several forks that has been created without any one solving any issue at all.
2228  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Are Initial Fork Offerings the "alt" ICO? on: December 13, 2017, 07:05:57 PM
most likely not imo. open to ideas however

https://youtu.be/jmnSoVneBKk

Its really going to be a dicey one because technically, its not an ICO but on the other it is an ICO because its another group of people coming to launch it. If the law says it specifically its not an ICO, then the number of forks we have seen is just about to get multiplied by 50 because developers would not want to go through the hassle of complying with all the laws considering the costs, verification and the paper works that would be involved rather they would just look for a problem an existing coin already has then solve that problem by creating another fork as simple as that.

I also don't see that surviving long term because the proponents of the law will come and review the law to accommodate such conditions in other to ensure every one do the right thing.
2229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake Wallet Removed From the App Store - How do you avoid getting scammed? on: December 13, 2017, 06:07:44 PM
Hi all!
Its been a great week for the bulls!

So I came across this headline: Fake Wallet Removed From the App Store, but not Before Reaching #3.

"The problem with the digital age is that it has opened up a whole new wave of scams, some of which are hard to spot. When you wrap a scam up in cryptocurrency, a world that prides itself on anonymity, it becomes even harder. The latest scam to hit the headlines has been a fake version of MyEtherWallet, which has been so successful that it reached number 3 on the App Store charts on December 11th, before Apple took it down."

More: https://coinblip.com/blog/fake-wallet-removed-app-store-not-reaching-3/

So what do you think is the best way to avoid such scams?

Most times the reason why people get scammed is really not about the level of smartness of the perpetrator but its largely sue to the greediness of the victim or the ignorance or laziness of the victim which can be avoided. In the case of this, I would say its largely due to ignorance or laziness to ascertain the source of the app before downloading the application which I am sure a simple search on Google would have come with several experiences of people who have fallen prey of such act.

I really dont blame Apple because they have a lot of people and issues to deal with which sometimes the complaints might be regarded as an attack on the project, the verification of the source and several reviews would take time. Although, I think they should have done more in due diligence before even listing it in the first place but that does not stop individuals from being responsible for their own security.
2230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: South Korea ban of all crypto transactions. on: December 13, 2017, 02:43:03 PM
Financial Services Commission (FSC) Chairman Choi Jong-Ku said on Monday that it was considering measures to restrict cryptocurrency transactions to some extent which includes “an all-out ban.”

“We are discussing to what extent the government will regulate the trade. Including the prohibition of trade”. he said at an at a luncheon meeting on Monday.

The clarification comes after news spread on Friday that South Korea was already considering banning all kinds of transactions.

South Korea too? If this is coming from North Korea, I would not even be surprised at all because the dream of bitcoin or Satoshi has some place where its not valid. On South Korea the quote “an all-out ban”, is just a statement to hint on what the final end of everything will be and to start preparing the mind of users from that end. At the same time, I dont believe they can go the route of a complete ban because they will be shooting themselves in the following ways

1. They might eventually lose out in the way the future is going to shape out if bitcoin ended up becoming a mainstream that commands respect because the cost to get back in the game will be more than the benefit of exiting it in the first place.

2. What if they take a decision and some of their allies did not take that decision which means the attack will only be felt for a while and bitcoin comes back which then means the whole of their effort has gone to waste considering the avenue of under the radar activities that would be created as a result of such action.

Looking at these, I see them taking the diplomatic route by finding a way to maintain their society and still be ready for the future.
2231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future for Bitcoin from a Financial Advisor on: December 13, 2017, 11:44:06 AM
Hey guys,

I have subscriptions to several Financial Analysts reports and here is one statement I read.
"You'll know that I believe what is going on right now with Bitcoin is a mania that will ultimately end badly. In my 25 yrs of experience, I've seen many of these come and go." He compares this to the 1999 "dot-com" stock crash.
What are your thoughts?

I would have loved to know the source of this information but at the same time, when words like this comes out, whether its true or not, its actually a time for reflection of activities, to take a step back and do your own thinking as well. I am sure a lot of people would argue to the top of their voice to ensure this is wrong or incorrect and wish it to be wrong ( I would actually do the same) without seeing it as an opportunity to restrategize and choose which way to go whether to continue in this path, or call the guy a fool or even exit the market.

For me, i am expanding my horizon on the subject matter before taking a decision as to the above options.
2232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple way to earn Bitcoins through Gambling and Casino games. on: December 13, 2017, 06:56:04 AM
In the event that you are hunting down a straightforward approach to gain Bitcoins on the web, you may take a stab at betting. Be that as it may, while it may appear to you as pain free income, gaming has various dangers which should be considered. In the accompanying article, we have laid out for you a few sites worth looking at while experimenting with your good fortune: Bitcoin Gambling. We don't ensure that you win, which is the reason we emphatically prescribe you to play just on the off chance that you have some underlying funding to spend. Then again, who knows, possibly you will luck out and increase your crypto.

This entire narration is for someone who has the wrong mindset for coming into gambling generally and not necessarily bitcoin because all over the world where any form of gambling is done, there is no guarantee to winning and even if you do all the right thing,  someone behind the scene can decide your fate otherwise.

When it comes to making some winnings in crypto gambling, there are some basic steps one needs to know by default which would include

1. Only generally generally accepted to be trustworthy sites should be patronised.

2. Start from the easiest games which to me is soccer and focus the teams that chance of winning is 99% form there, you can start trying other games of 50% chance like dice before going to the skill based ones.
2233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: December 13, 2017, 06:42:29 AM
You have any method to share for win against the house?

What is the best way for bet and win against the house???

Please comment and let us know about it...

If there is any take home from what happen in the case of MoneyPot, is that the house does not always win. It further establish that the rhythm is just a myth that have gone on for far too long that we have now taken to be the standard and we have been proven wrong.

If a site is completely truthful(100%), winning against the House should not even be a problem because its going to be on the basis of probability and outcomes but the moment they tweak a little, we then start looking for strategies. In short there is no one blanket way to win because I have a feeling the sites around would have their own unique way of ensuring that they are on the winning side and what works in a particular site might prove to be futile in another.
2234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will we ever see players transfer paid with bitcoin ??! on: December 13, 2017, 04:57:00 AM
From one summer to the next one,  the price of the players is multiplied as well as the highest player's price in the history, at least by 2 times. As a result, due to the permanent elevation of the prices of players , and due to the new emerging laws in our sports which is : money is every things !
Could we see some deals paid  in bitcoin ?

The possibility of that is something not likely at this point only when government fully accepts bitcoin as a form of legal tender. The reason for that is because for those record breaking deals for players, a lot of eyes is already on that money and not all will even go into the players personal account. Taxes will be paid which is a sure one. Today we have heard cases of players being sued for tax related offences which could land them in jail if taken to the extreme and this is still the case of being paid in fiat imagine what would happen to a player career if he choose and get paid in bitcoin. The only thing is just to send him to prison straight.
2235  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto following same evolution as fiat? on: December 12, 2017, 03:19:42 PM
I must appreciate the conciseness and thought put in this write-up which shows a deep understanding of the historical information of how currency we use today evolved in the past. However, based on this historical study, it shows that bitcoin is following the same pattern but a deeper look into the way things are going shows that bitcoin is surpassing those previous invention that have happened over the years. Before gold or fiat, became what it is today, it took centuries and you will agree with me, that the managers of the economy are even yet to get it right but bitcoin has come to reach the point others reached in a matter of years.

Another factor as a plus for bitcoin is that while the people who controls the others comparison are people of high social class and the privileged in the society, bitcoin does not discriminate even if you are guy from far east Asia or the inner most part of Africa or even the poorest nation in South America, your path to financial freedom is guaranteed if you manage to have access to the information and act on it.
2236  Economy / Economics / Re: DO you think china was right to shut down Bitcoin exchanges and ICO? on: December 12, 2017, 02:59:30 PM
Based on my opinion, I would say its a good thing although it seems the effect is not felt because of the amount of ICOs that comes out on a daily basis but truth be said its has reduced to a large extent. I wonder how much ICOs we have to deal with if the Chinese government have not taken that step. I am sure we would have seen someone whose idea is distribute food within his locality coming to raise fund in the global market then paint it and make it in such a way that one would think he wants to deliver to the the entire world.

I dont have any issue against ICOs, but it should not be about the free money that could be raised from that source rather it should be about project that seeks to liberate the world and whose people in the fiat world wont want to venture into because it threaten their own fundamental existence. Maybe someday we will get to that point.
2237  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking for an exchange without Bullshiet verification process on: December 12, 2017, 05:28:16 AM
I looked at tens of exchanges and it seems pretty hard to meet my criteria (and it shouldn't).

Looking for:

-BTC/USD exchange
-USD withdrawals by wire transfer of SWIFT (or other international money transfer)
-No BS verification process with gov't ID and fucking birth certificate. No verification process at all is pretty much what i'm looking for.

Now that BTC-e is dead and price going up i'm starting to look to.. maybe... sell some BTCs.

Is this that hard to get ?

For a site to meet all that s your conditions, I don't think you won't do any verification up to this moment, the exchange sites I know that doesn't require verification that is at the minimum are mainly crypto and not to fiat while the ones that are can convert to fiat without verification will allow you register carry out your transaction, then put a bar that you will have to verify since you are  transacting beyond certain threshold and from the way I look at it, you are not looking to move $100 or $200 that won't raise issue.

Way out, is to just open discussions probably in an online community make friends and disguise you broking a deal (but be sure to deliver on your promises) then sell for cash or even to your bank account ( since you will have to submit that to, if you want to revive via transfer).
2238  Economy / Economics / Re: Insuring your investments in ico, what do you think? on: December 10, 2017, 08:54:37 PM
Ok, so if you would have a tool to insure your investments in ICO, and be sure your money will back if project closed or smth else happen.
Will you use that tool?

If you want insurance do 2 things

1. Do your due diligence and be sure where you are putting your money and

2. The promoters are those who can be held responsible for their words after they might have agreed to buy at certain price under any circumstance and it can be enforced.

Aside the two above, any other insurance is like telling someone to insure his money for investing in HYIP. I really don't know how that will work out. And moreso, if your are planning in running something like that, how do you determine which project to insure because even in the fiat world, not every risk are insurable e.g gambling. How do you calculate the premium to be paid based on the ICO coming out enmasse everyday. I won't use any insurance don't know about others though.
2239  Economy / Economics / Re: The size of the US economy parallels many countries on: December 10, 2017, 05:48:47 PM
Mark Perry of the American Enterprise Institute recently presented data and a map that tries to link GDP in the US in 2012 (using the Bureau of Economic Analysis data) and other countries (based on UN data).

The report links each US state (and the District of Columbia) and the country closest to it in terms of economic size in 2012, and in some cases the country's output may increase or slightly below the state.

The map helped to explain the large size of the US economy, with GDP reaching $ 16.2 trillion in 2012, and each US state was replaced by a country of roughly economic size.

The report shows some surprising points. For example, California is the largest economy in America, with an economic output of $ 2.003 trillion in 2012, slightly less than the Italian GDP in the same year at $ 2.013 trillion, while the population California is only 38 million compared with Italy 61 million.

Saudi Arabia, despite its oil wealth, has a GDP of $ 711 billion in 2012, less than its $ 777 billion in Florida.

Besides Kuwait, whose gross domestic product (GDP) is $ 0.183 trillion in 2012, slightly higher than the $ 0.176 trillion state of South Carolina.

Switzerland's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2012 is about $ 0.631 trillion higher than Pennsylvania's $ 0.6 trillion.

New Jersey tops Norway, with state output of $ 0.508 trillion, the European state of $ 0.499 trillion, and North Carolina with slightly less than Belgium, with US output of $ 0.455 trillion and the European state of $ 0.483 trillion.

Overall, the United States, the world's largest economy, has captured 22.3% of world GDP, although it has only 4.4% of the world's population.

From what I see here, you have only glorified the economy of the entire United States compared to other states which is correct based on the statistics that you have quoted. But using only GDP as a basis to determine which one is better, has been contested severally to not be the right representative.

Based on data, do you also know that the in the current entire world debt profile, the United States carries as much as 31.8% which to me is very high compared to the entire world.

"The U.S. is a prime example of “debt creep” – the country hasn’t posted an annual budget surplus since 2001, when the federal debt was only $6.9 trillion (54% of GDP). Fast forward to today, and the debt has ballooned to roughly $20 trillion (107% of GDP), which is equal to 31.8% of the world’s sovereign debt nominally" source http://www.visualcapitalist.com/63-trillion-world-debt-one-visualization/

Conclusively, when a country's GDP is not doing all too well, they might not be incurring debt for the next generation.

BTCize.com & BTCise.com (means to turn into BTC/Bitcoin) - how much ? They are on sale.

You have not said anything concerning what is it you are trying to advertise. I expect to a brief description on the kind of service your site is worth, the traffic, client base, registered domain and a whole of things that could aid the valuation of the site but unfortunately that is not what you are offering here rather you are sending everyone to the site that doesn't have any idea to do the valuation. I can only hope that you can add more details to get the required audience you really need.
