2241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the market going to dump like that 2018? on: December 14, 2021, 10:17:03 PM
I don't really understand which way the market is going or will go. What do you suggest in such a situation?
It is a need for you now to understand how risky is crypto investing. Not all the time it went well and profiting, sometimes we got lost due to wrong entry and sudden drops. It is found natural for someone to feel bad after seeing their portfolio drop but if you just hold and never sell them, it surely comes back once the market recovers. All you need to do is to have some faith and wait.

Just forget about 2018, it never happens again.
2242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why should I use Kucoin over Binance? on: December 12, 2021, 11:06:06 PM

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Kucoin already mandates the KYC requirements? If my memory served me right, they ask me for a KYC before I can withdraw. That was a few months ago and I'm sure I remember it right.

Regardless, and back to the topic, determining which exchange should you use depends on your reason why should you want to use them. Users have different preferences in the first place. As for my reason, I use Binance because of direct P2P exchanges without dealing first on our local exchanges and most of my coins on my portfolio are actively trading there.
Nope. its not still mandatory or compulsory for  someone to make out some KYC. They do still have that 1 BTC limit per day on  unverified accounts.
https://support.kucoin.plus/hc/en-us/articles/4401857433241-How-To-Complete-KYC-Verification-PC-Version-
https://www.kucoin.com/news/announcement-regarding-the-adjustment-of-daily-withdrawal-limit

I did make out some research  but it turns out they havent announced any new limitations.
I didn't use Kucoin for trading but have some experience in the past and yes, it never requires KYC for the small withdrawal of less than 1BTC but for bigger amounts, they are strictly asking for it especially for a newly created account. But what I guess, this mandatory KYC will soon to apply for all exchanges and I'm still going to believe that the use of exchanges is safe compared to P2P transactions.
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: December 10, 2021, 09:30:56 PM

No one can be blamed when everybody panicked during that time. I was a starter, and for someone who earns and profits here by just relying solely on bitcoins, it was terrible. If I had that faith before, I could have something to be proud of today.
I definitely agree with op that bitcoin is way dependable to HODL. Today, we hear people say "bitcoin" rather than "cryptocurrencies" and I think with that, it will still have a long journey, a permanent one in the future.
If people do have other assets today, may be its for a faster way of accumulating more but in my opinion, bitcoins will always lead. No need to panic.
The majority only knows about "Bitcoin", not "Cryptocurrency", and only they know about investment, not a currency. So the reason why people are coming to crypto is simply that they wanted to invest and hold (and get panic), not to use this to buy stuff or whatever.

Well, that is pretty obvious how these newcomers will behave and think differently compared to old-timers but wanted to say that they have to change their mindset as well. It was their time also to understand the situation and keep their emotions under their control, otherwise, this will be a reason for their failure.
2244  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we talk about airdrops? on: December 10, 2021, 08:52:19 PM
So I searched the forum and online. The world seems to be divided (not surprisingly) between airdrops lovers and haters, and not much in terms of actual data a newbie can use.
Could anybody please help me out?
What are they?
Are they good? Are they bad? Are they worth it?

Any info (ANYTHING) will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you all in advance.  Smiley
I didn't stop people from joining or participating in free giveaways like airdrop but I never suggest it that is my opinion about the airdrop. It wasn't that mean that they are worthless and only a scam but I just want people to realize that they are wasting their time for them. Were already aware I think about these free giveaways and we don't have to be blind not now we got crazy for their offer as it is likely impossible that they gain market value over $0. If they care about their time, then they have to think about this.

2246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 10, 2021, 03:15:31 PM
I think it will be an exciting match. I have seen plays of Russell and indeed he is a great boxer. His footwork, form, speed and powerful punches. His stamina could keep up until the 12th but I guess it will depend on how this opponent might bring up during the first rounds. The only thing I have noticed was somehow he struggles with his reach especially with taller opponent but nothing else. With Magsayo, I think he was trained very well. He has this powerful punches that I am hoping to see during this fight. He just needs to know how to land them properly. Hopefully he could keep up with Russell until the end of the round. I have seen some of his KO fights and I think he surges early, might fatigue early too.
This is a good match for Gary Russell and a great challenge for Mark Magsayo to achieve his dream. He is undefeated coming from a sensational KO win against Julio Ceja, so Russell knows how strong his punch is and he will prepare for that fight well to defend his belt. I'm rooting for the challenger here.
2247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 10, 2021, 02:49:54 PM
I was really amused about the Memphis - Lakers game last night. Lebron, Westbrook and Davis all were playing in this game but they still lost to Memphis by 108-95. The reason why especially was that Westbrook performed really bad. He was able to score only 9 points in 33 minutes. He got a 3/9 FG made. He missed many shots as he was not in fine feather.

A bad night after a good night. Westbrook seems inconsistent but at least he's trying to catch up. They should win against a handicapped Memphis but lack of fuel to boost their performance. Time to move on and hope for the best next game for the Lakers. A good win for those who bet against them making it worth it to bet o continue betting against them if they are the Favorites.

They are up against Oklahoma City Thunders and Orlando Magic for their next 2 games and it seems they will be tagged again as the Favorite.

Yeah, after a good win in their previous game, now they've suffered another loss against the Memphis.

Too bad the Lakers are really good at being inconsistent, James missing a 3 that will close the gap in the fourth and you can see the frustration on him after he missed that shot. He even goes early to the locker room without waiting for the actual buzzer. Not a good sign if we see him like this in a losing game.

First, James is not an accurate 3 point shooter. 2nd, James is known to have that kind of attitude, remember in the last playoffs when his team was down big time, he exit early and never came back on the court, he easily gets disappointed and I'm afraid he is blaming someone when he is in that mode.
2248  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you like to trading with meme coins?? on: December 10, 2021, 10:04:24 AM
I did trading for meme coins and my trading results was quite impressive that i could make decent profit from it several month ago but i do not dare to hold them for long term because the price of meme coins were quite unpredictable and seems lately meme coins became so hype among the traders that some of them even can make 10x or even 100x during trade for meme coins
I could really say wow and congratulation, you're a lucky person. Like many people wanted to trade but have difficulties in choosing coins to trade and it become a usual event that most of these newbies got fall into wrong coin and somehow they lose instantly. But you, as choosing meme coins become a different story, I can't imagine your happines and probably I have that feeling as well if I'd take the risk with them but sadly, I'm not.

That is why I'd say that you are a lucky person because for many traders who choose meme coins suffered losses and you're not.
2249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should i buy? on: December 10, 2021, 09:21:18 AM
We all know that market is collapsed and reviving again and i don't want to miss this opportunity which coin or coins should i buy?
Just take a look at the market...there are a lot of potential coins out there and I'm just trying to pick up at least 3 coins BTC, BNB, Shiba.

I consider most on the market volume and the current price when choosing coins to invest in. I don't buy coins that are in hypes, and much more if it has no use case like these new projects. Maybe you could do the same just like what I did. And lastly, it is a need for you to research then and stop relying others.
2250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: December 09, 2021, 10:28:19 PM
In every setting, a certain sacrifice is needed before the mainstream or adoption happens and this is something that has been discussed some times ago on this forum. However, it was the increase of crypto theft that make SEC to introduced KYC/AML to the exchange, and every exchange site that wants to keep operating must abide by the command.
Despite that, it's not hard to buy BTC without KYC but you have a price to pay for your anonymity though.
Whether we like it or not, it certainly comes that all exchanges and even P2P transactions will ask KYC. As the more scamming and hacking incidents happen, the more it pushes through and we started to feel it now. SEC will probably set strict rules and regulations in regards to KYC and live no chance to keep anonymous. But if this will be the solution to move fast the adoption, I guess, it needs our support as well.
2251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: December 09, 2021, 09:38:53 PM
year-end price correction has discouraged investors who were too hopeful for a new ATH breakout. bitcoin is bearish at the moment, conditions are still worrying. the bullrun may still be far from everyone's expectations for december 2021.
That's okay, if the correction will make the market stronger in the future, then let that happen. Investing in crypto is for people with high patience, and we are here to find opportunities to buy and sell, so consider the correction as an opportunity to buy, and wait for the market to bounce back as it always happened after the correction is over, don't know when but I'm certain it will come.
2252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: December 09, 2021, 12:46:43 PM
no one doubts BNB to be able to hit the price of 1k. even I myself speculate that the price of BNB will exceed 1k for the exact time can't say for sure but I'm sure it will.
where currently BNB users are very high with large volumes and a very large community it is very possible to be able to pump up BNB prices to be higher. I see the BNB price chart so far continues to increase from time to time although slowly.
BNB had an exchange of their own, Binance is the biggest exchange so they are ensured with a good trading volume.

As long as the exchange remains at the top, BNB has a great opportunity to pump with a huge amount in the future,  so always believe when you are holding as eventually in the long run you'll rip the fruits of your investment
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: December 09, 2021, 11:11:01 AM
Great pick for the Boston Celtics, they didn't give up even in the last seconds, they lose the game but they were lucky to cover the spread. LA Clippers only won by 3 points so that +4 handicap is won. Congrats winners.
2254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 09, 2021, 10:50:54 AM
Milwaukee Bucks is still so strong this season, for sure and I have no doubts that they will still be at the Finals.
The Bucks look good, and they are in the third spot in the Eastern Conference standings at the moment. However, I wouldn't be so sure that they will be able to reach the final series. I mean, there may be very strong competition in the Eastern Conference, considering that teams like the Nets, Bulls, Heat are also playing well this season.
That's going to be a big challenge for them since they are the defending champ. They are not even all healthy yet but they are doing pretty well already, though the Bulls are playing well this season, I still doubt they'll beat the Bucks in the playoffs, and even the Nets if Irving won't be able to come back.

Bucks in play offs is different from a Bucks from regular season and I also doubt that Chicago bulls will defeat them if they are lucky to face in playoffs knowing how hard working Giannis is and he is always been pumped up on every game, we see that on last finals series so for sure we can also see that to happen since that's his normal game in their crucial games. But lets still see since a will balance team with good ball rotation plus luck maybe can give them a win.

The only team that could stop Giannis is probably a healthy Heat.... If you still remember, they dominate the Bucks a season before the previous season, and they just made their revenge, now that the Heat has lowry which is a good point guard, I think the Heat although underdog in paper has the edge to win the series against the Bucks.
2255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of SHIBA Inu, is this the end of the Road? on: December 08, 2021, 11:19:38 PM
Shiba Inu just partner with Travala and it can be used now to purchase or to book some flights. I think Shiba will not be that fall too easily consider how huge the community that supports it, that's the thing that they got the advantage of. It will just a matter of time but I think the team behind Shiba Inu was into Metaverse as well or the play to earn industry.
Well, in that case, I think Shiba Inu is just following the market trend (dump) and this seems normal to altcoins. But likely has a huge possibility that it recover back high again as it has a working product that could help to make it fast. So for now, it wasn't it looks terrible and scary investment and if the team is really working it hard, there is no way to stop it from growing.
2256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to buy alts at the right time? on: December 08, 2021, 09:56:43 PM
Buy the dip, that's the very simple answer.

If you will see if the market has more downtrend than the uptrend, which means we have more opportunity to buy when the price go down, it may not yet the dip we are looking for but it's always an opportunity to buy every time bitcoin dumps. Just recently bitcoin dumped at $42K, I'm sure some traders were able to make a quick profit with the current price of bitcoin now.
2257  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitMart exchange hacked on: December 08, 2021, 09:35:36 PM
Whatever the results of their investigation, they should make sure that they'll be able to refund the lost funds of the users. I remember when Binance was hacked before, they also lose millions of dollars in crypto but they said it's "SAFU", meaning the funds are safe because they set up a certain fund which is insurance in their own way to cover the losses in cases a hacked will happen.

^^ Miami Heat though was a disappointment, I have them -4.5.

It was supposedly Jimmy Butler's comeback game, but he didn't help the team tonight (he had a bad fall in the 1st). Bam though is still absent, and Dedmon as replacement didn't do any better.

And I think this is the only game tonight wherein there was an upset.

Yes, because most of the favorites won the game, Wolves were the other favorite that lose last night but they were only -2 against the Hawks, so I don't consider that as a huge upset. Better luck next time mate, heat will definitely bounce back after this loss, try to martingale your bet on them.
2260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 07, 2021, 12:46:04 PM
I think that the most interesting game of the night was Charlotte Hornets - Philadelphia 76ers. And 76ers were able to win by 127-124 after overtime. And J. Embiid had a big role in this win. He got 43 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists. The best player at Hornets was Oubre with 35 points. These teams were already very close in the standings and the result also didn't surprise me.

I can't believe that the 76ers are already in the top 7 now, they really have a struggle when Embiid was out, and now that he is back, I'm pretty sure they'll start climbing in ranking again. Great game for these two teams but must better game for the winner.
