2261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Enter the market with a loss mindset~what you can afford to lose on: July 25, 2022, 11:11:07 PM
Investing in crypto is a joke, you'll lose your money instantly if you got it wrong. That is why if we are in the plan investing be sure that we are aware of what might happen to our money as it is either it grows or loses all. Keeping in mind that we are facing high risk, we can't just think all about the negative but have to urge ourselves to stay positive despite everything negative we've heard. We have to step up and level up our mindset as this will have a huge impact on our decisions.

Yes, I have a way of trading that I apply to gambling, and that is that I only have a certain balance to make my operations, I never put more or less money to make my operations, in trading I usually risk a little more ,+more money than in gambling, but I have seen many friends who take trading as if it were gambling, they only enter guessing without any foundation, and most of the time they lose, because they have no idea what can happen. do or spend in the market, and this is something that always happens.

Same, I am also doing the same thing. Putting capped on a budget is a necessary thing to do in what ever activity we are doing whether it's Trading, Gambling and Investment. We should have a balanced budget on things we are doing. In my case I have allotted more budget on gambling, I don't go beyond my budget.t Going beyond our budget means over playing and this could result us falling deeper.
2262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The characteristics of people who are addicted to online gambling on: July 25, 2022, 10:24:46 PM
I have noticed one thing - and that is those who are too greedy about money that they can use anyone for their benefit,
Some people are too simple that they get trapped in the games of those sharp minded people.
I have suffered so much and seen dual faces of the people. Still not sure what I have to do with myself.
Yes, I also believe these more severe symptoms can hit the most greedy people who want to get rich fast and they can imagine that gambling will do that... but most of the time no, this is an extremely minimal portion that will happen.

I even venture to say that if a person addicted to gambling won $1 million dollars the night before, he could literally lose everything betting the next day, as there is a high possibility that he will imagine that he can win another $1 million the next day. day and so on.

Basically this "possible" hope and the greed that can lead many gamblers to ruin overnight, this is sad, but unfortunately it is the reality most of the time.
Thinking on the back of their minds. I did win massive amount on gambling in the past, I can do it again for sure. It's a mindset that commonly makes gamblers about winning and becoming gambling in it. It is the same as bad comeback mindset. "I have comeback this before, I can do it now. Just a little bit of risk." Where at the end, Gambling addicts fall into despair of losing so much that it's hard to recover.
2263  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to raise funding for trading? on: July 25, 2022, 10:04:30 PM
I don't think it would be wise on lending money just to have more capital to trade. I think you still haven't trading with large amount of money. Trust me that there's a huge a huge pressure on it. On top of that it's a money you browed. I can only suggest that you raise money from the trading activity you make. In that case, If any thing bad happen. It will only affect you.
2264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A season for stop loss on: July 24, 2022, 07:34:54 PM
This is the best time to pick your stop loss and make it an essential part of your trade. The market keeps falling and investors and traders alike keeps crying. It seems some wild prediction of Bitcoin giving those who missed the early opportunity of buying is coming alive. To avoid been caught up and trapped  by the market volatility stop loss should be as useful as every other technical or fundamental tool you can think of. It is better to risk a small fraction of your assets than losing it all
Good advice for day-traders who are involved with leverage and spot trading to have their trading account get protected while dealing with the volatile market Bitcoin ,but the stop lose in my view do not have anything to bother the long time holder / investors as they got nothing to do with stops loses. So for every day trader it is always good you ensure you use stops in order to protect yourself from blowing out your entire portfolio. The best thing one should do now is stay away from leverage trading or any form that will liquidate you, rather the best thing one should do now is to accumulate more of Bitcoin and wait for future ,do not be in ghast to make money rather it's time you engage yourself with other sources of income and then from there you sustain yourself.
I don't why would an investor or a holder will do a stop loss. They are having their coins to hold it for a long time and will not care how low will the price go, They are just accumulating and accumulating on different price points. Traders are the one that should use a stop loss, I've seen many liquidation because of not having a stop loss this is why I don't forget to have a stop loss on every trades I am having whether it's a spot or in futures. For the season we are having right now, I can agree that adding other source of income and to start accumulating is the way to go.
2265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 24, 2022, 06:48:46 PM
Quote
Feng shui is an ancient Chinese art of arranging buildings, objects, and space in an environment to achieve harmony and balance

Feng shui is an ancient Chinese art of rule-based superstition. Which is an interesting thing to think about from the marketing perspective. Is there a feng shui rulebook/superstition list or do people just randomly make this stuff up? Because that would make a lot more sense. Not that anything about feng shui makes sense in the price place.

I know they even hire special feng shui people in china for the feng shui of architecture, for example. Those guys earn a very pretty penny in doing their job but also being known as a feng shui master. So, like a celebrity architect basically.
I don't know if feng shui have such book of rules or things to do but some asian people who were near in china adopted this feng shui superstition. My country also have adopted this feng shui superstition since our country has many Chinese people. As far as I know feng shui improve the quality of life and more about positivity it also has some belief about placements of things to avoid bad luck and attract lucks. Chinese casino owners obviously will do this superstition since they are facilitating a casino and it involves money, This is why I think luck is very crucial to them. Imagine they are hiring some feng shui expert just to accommodate the superstition, This shows that they are taking it seriously.
2266  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 24, 2022, 05:48:07 PM
@xSkylarx people with criminal records can still do KYC is he/she funds is from a good source and never abuse the casino rules and regulations.

How can a casino say or prove that the money he's using is from a good source if the person already has criminal records? It's like saying the authorities won't arrest a criminal on an airport that is trying to escape because he doesn't violate any rules within the area.

If a casino allows him to play on their platform then they are risking their business that could result to a permanent closure once authorities knew it.

You are talking nonsense, just because someone has bad reputation in the past doesn't mean everything that they do right now is incriminated.

And why the freakin Roobet must verify their users of its criminal records.

There is some institution that deems bitcoin as non-fungible, and here Roobet as a business should comply with whatever the license or law that applied within its supported jurisdiction, which is why there are KYC and AML policies. If you don't like it and want to preserve your privacy, then simply get out.
Same thought. Criminal records is just a history of a person doing an illegal thing. As long as the gambler has no standing case or have fled it's punishment's, I think it won't bring a harm to any casino. I'm pretty sure that there are land based casinos who are allowing ex-convict to play at their casino. I have known because I have seen one (politician)  Roll Eyes. Also, I think that there aren't any casino that are straight up verifying the criminal records of every customer they have KYC'd.
2267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 24, 2022, 05:13:09 PM
Majority if the people who are in this forum and gambling are gambling for money and not entertainment or fun as some people will say. There is no fun in some gambling we see online. We have fun in betting for football, boxing and other sports that they act, so that when we watch we get entertained. But there is no entertainment is dice games, it is for money purpose.
The trial is just a preparation for the main gambling not alternative to playing with money.

I don't really agree with your statement. If I were gambling for money, I would probably after a few big losses quit because in fact in many gambling games it is much harder to win than to lose. So I play for fun (dopamine and adrenaline) and whether I win or not depends on luck and winning is a kind of bonus to the game.
Yah, I think he still hasn't experience the adrenaline rush we gamblers get from playing any kind of games that has money involved. I can see myself being entertained by playing dice games so the statement of Docnaster is pretty subjective. There are many who are addicted to such "gambling we see online", Some of those games who we see only are just recreation of games on real casino's like poker, blackjack and slots. Some of those gamblers seeks the entertainment they can get by playing it online.
2268  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: My Defi Pet - DeFi meets NFT on: July 24, 2022, 04:28:08 PM
I'm sure maraming nadismaya sa Defi Pet at for me it's not worth the time para laruin ito or even mag invest. Let's hope nalang na bumawi sila next bull run if ever mag cocontinue pa sila at gawin nila quality game yung laro hindi lang boss fight.

You sure a lucky guy that you win the match that you did a risk by loaning. If I were ask for advise if I would recommend loaning to bet, My answer would be same as anybody here in this forum. just don't.

Question:

If you knew the result for a soccer match beforehand, how much would you risk on it and if you didn't have the funds, how would you maximize your risk in time before the match?

If the information of the match being fixed came from a reputable person or a person who put a large amount of money in the bet, I would probably put around 50% of my maximum bet budget. If my budget for that game is max $1k, I would probably put $1.5k in it since there's an information of a fixed match. I'm just trying to be safe about the amount that I will bet. If the information came from a very trusted person like the organizer or any insider that has done match making before. If I try to do it to maximum, I would probably go around 2-3x my budget. Though, Risk is still there.
2270  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for newbie to long-term investing on: July 23, 2022, 08:24:45 PM
...Would this be a wise decision? Or should I just keep going with the approach I have now?..
Even small investment can make big difference when the time comes. There are different approach in buying a crypto,  There are many who are trying to catch the bottom but honestly it's very difficult since I have seen many altcoins dipped lower than their base price last bear market.  Traders are trying to maximize their profits by buying at a good price point. My take is when I see the price is justifiable like for example the price is on the support line, I would buy partially on it so whether it dipped more or bounced back I would be happy with my decision since I still have funds to buy some since I bought partially.
2271  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ano ang plano niyo ngayong bear market? on: July 23, 2022, 07:24:53 PM

Tama!

2272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in Church. on: July 23, 2022, 06:39:17 PM
Well This is a definite plus in crypto community. It's nice to see some churches is spreading words about cryptocurrency. I'm sure that non-crypto users who read the article why the church is being involved in crypto. Surely their curiosity will be triggered and there's a high chance that they themselves will be involved in cryptocurrency by doing research and knowing how it works.

I've remembered some parody coins about religion before, As far as I remember it was called hesucrypto, It's obviously a shitcoin but it got a lot of noise in social media. It was such a fun that someone created that kind of parody coin.
2273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 23, 2022, 05:49:01 PM
Making a casino from scratch is possible, Finding decent partners and talented developers is one key  to create one but your idea of what kind of crypto casino is the most important one. As we know, Crypto casinos is a very competitive space. You mostly need new or innovative concept to make your casino a spotlight.

I've seen many casino that has a good gambling sites that didn't thrive. Casino's are fighting on their marketing to gather gamblers by doing signature campaign, promotions, social media tractions, partnerships and other type of marketing just to make them know by the gamblers. All of these requires a deep pocket since you will spend money to survive and gain traction in your casino.  Remember that even those established casino are still doing marketing because it's how the crypto casino survives.
2274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 23, 2022, 05:16:35 PM
I think that there will be a difference here in gambling board but not that much since there are many gamblers here who are really devoted in this board and have interest in the topics especially on those mega threads about discussions of upcoming fights. The difference I can think of is the topics that will be created. There would be less new topics since people aren't motivated that much to think of a topic that will create a traction in this board.
2275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will these coins achieve goals I set? on: July 23, 2022, 04:50:36 PM
XRP – $3
BSW – $5
WOW – $6
SXP – $8
BNB – $1000
ETH – $8 000

Thoughts and ideas?

I don't know the rest of those coins aside from these.

XRP – $3 - This is possible given that it's all time high before is more than $3. The current highest price it achieve last bull season reached above $1 and I think it's possible to penetrate that price point again.

BNB – $1000 - This will depend on the progress of the binance exchange and the future usage of their blockchain. But I think it's possible to go over that price range since they earned a massive growth in value last bull season.

ETH – $8 000- I'm very positive that ETH will reach this price. We are currently waiting for the release of their POS system which were delayed for a countless time now but this can make the price pump since there are many who want to have a good amount of voting power over others.
2276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin price and NFTs market on: July 23, 2022, 03:27:40 PM
NFT has become a trend since the last 2 years and makes the market continues to shine, and now more and more projects are diverted to Metaverse and Web3, but with the number of users, developers and a strong community I am sure NFT will continue to survive and increase.
For me, there was a hype that happened with NFT / DeFi during the bull market recently. But overall, it's just a part of the market, it's like for every cycle or bull market, there is a trend just like 2017-2018, it was the ICO fever where most every altcoin are just pumping even how shit altcoins are.
For me, the use of recent dump also to get rid of some scam projects and worthless projects on the market.
True, The market trends are the one that is changing every bull market. The last bull market favored on NFTs, GameFi, DeFi, Meme coins and other that I didn't mention. Even the most crappy projects are getting funds from the community because of the trend. It's the cycle that keep happening inside the bull market, So it's important to filter out the projects that are born during the bull market. The inflow of projects during the bull market is massive compared to the number of project that is born during the bear market. This is why we need to filter out bull market projects because as we know, Most of the project can't survive when bear market arrives.
2277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just my one cent advice on: July 22, 2022, 09:43:25 PM
Anyone noticing new projects still raising millions of dollars? Mohash and Dynamic for example, I think new projects will replace lots of top altcoins in coming years and my advice to young investors is to find new projects to mix with their portfolio, remember that Matic, Polkadot, Avalnache are once all new projects in 2018/2019..
There are possibility that some altcoins that is created now can replace the current top altcoins in the next bull run. Some coins did it in the last bull run so the possibility of overlapping the old coins on the ranking is high. There are projects that are short lived and we should expect that the project that will replace the ranking will stay longer than the typical start up projects we see today. Analyzing the new projects now and investing on right projects would bring fortune to it's investors and holders just like what happened last bull market. I did some personal list of bright altcoins that can prosper on the next bull market. It's a small list of new concept and improved versions of old projects.
2278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu's future on: July 22, 2022, 08:57:54 PM
Can't see a bright future with this meme coins.  They are just being pumped by the hype. We did see a massive influx of meme coins in the market last bull market and Shiba Inu is one of them. Most meme coins did a lot of fortune at that time, Every meme coin got traction in the market and we are not sure if it will repeat itself and the other meme coins on the next bull run. There are many uncertain speculation about meme coins and the safest bet we could do is to just put our money on something that has a utility and most likely to grow our investment like bitcoin or eth.
2279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 22, 2022, 08:07:00 PM
This is very true, even if a person changes his environment a thousand times, he will not be able to change if there is really no great intention that arises from within his heart. Intention to change is what is needed for an addict to be able to leave the things that make him/her addicted, and great support from family plays a more important role for a person to recover from his addiction than changing the environment.

But do keep in mind that change of hearts often happens due to their environment too. Something urges people to change, perhaps it's something that they can see around them or something that they are currently doing which is very new to their routine. A change in environment plays a huge role in curbing gambling addiction. Try to distance an addict from his/her fix. There will be some symptoms of withdrawal but with constant monitoring and diversion of their interest, they'll slowly change their ways and not notice that they're no longer addicted to something.
Changing environment is indeed a factor in developing a change to a person. A person who doesn't have the intention to change will not instantly stop what the person want's to do but changing some things like changing it's environment can help the person realize what things should he change to fit in that certain environment. If I myself were put in a village were there were gambling is prohibited, I will respect it and abide the place. I'm sure an addict will do everything just to do he wants but sooner or after there will be a change in his perspective. Changing the environment can possibly make some addict stop playing gambling and some addicts don't. It depends on how addicted and how the addict realize things.

Sa tingin niyo mag kaka 2nd big hype ba si axie in the future? As we know currently madaming players na ang umayaw at investors na nag benta ng assets nila. Marami na din na dismaya ssa axie dahil sa kanilang pag ka lugi. Is 2nd big hype deserve by Axie Infinity/Sky Mavis?

Last bull market is is ang GameFi sa trends kaya halos lahat ng GameFi platforms ay matunog. 2nd GameFi Trend? Quality Games?

In the next bull run, Do you guys think na aangat padin sila over the other quality/3d games na on the development right now?
