Interesting. Doesn't exactly sound like the plan of somebody trying to jack a bunch of BTC and make for the hills. Going to be keeping an eye on this one!

2284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] THE NEXUS PROTOCOL - P2P Goods Exchange/ Multiwallet / P2P Hosting on: January 18, 2014, 02:51:24 PM
Scam.

Dear Hazard,

The alpha wallet is here. It will be beta tonight, you can use it if you want. http://neuvira.com/

We don't understand how things are a scam if they exist?

Kind Regards,

The Nexus Protocol Team.

This is all well and good if I want to trust my coins to somebody else? Where is the downloadable win32/64 and linux distro's? Or is it basically what you see is what you get? (i.e. no stand-alone version available)?
2285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] THE NEXUS PROTOCOL - P2P Goods Exchange/ Multiwallet / P2P Hosting on: January 18, 2014, 01:43:32 PM
show me the whitepaper! Are you planning on open-sourcing this?

Gotta love your initial 4 purchases though huh? Wink

Got my first two sticks yesterday afternoon and they have been happily hashing away at ~1.58GH/each ever since. Always a pleasure doing business with Canary.

+1 the question regarding current price BTW. Need to double my Ant capacity Wink

This just might be the answer
2288  Economy / Securities / Re: [HAVELOCK] PETAMINE 166 TH/s on: January 15, 2014, 12:39:10 AM
Status Update:

A quick update where we are at: As many others we are awaiting for final engineering / test results from both Bitmine and Cointerra. As soon as those final tests are done and both companies start with their production process we will have more exact details about delivery of the long awaited mining hardware. We are closely following up on the progress and visited Bitmine in Switzerland last week, all looks promising but still some engineering work to be done.

Meanwhile, we are also preparing our datacenter for future growth and expansion, which requires a lot of planning and upfront work as we want to be ready not only for the first batches of miners but also for future deployment (once we are mining things will start moving rapidly).

We know everyone is excited to get this project started and we can begin mining (the same goes for us)! It can be frustrating to wait for those final updates from manufacturers but we hope to receive some good news soon and get this started.

We'll keep you posted.

Sky just got a little brighter. Appreciate the update Smiley

I'm getting a bad feeling about this.
2290  Economy / Gambling / Re: Selling Gigadice.com - Tons of Unique Features on: January 11, 2014, 07:44:44 PM
For those who have messaged me over the last few weeks, I was on vacation and didn't check my messages on a regular basis. I have responded to those who have PM'ed me and still looking for a suitable buyer.

The server went offline during my time away and will I will look to renew it tonight.
Hmmm. Having a rough time getting that renewed perhaps?

I think I have found a buyer who may not require me to renew hosting as they will find their own servers. If the deal falls through I will most definitely renew the hosting.
If the deal falls through? You mean, the site wasn't even generating enough revenue to pay for the hosting?!?! Why would you not renew the hosting if your trying to sell it?  Isn't that sort of like removing the engine from a car you plan on selling?

Regardless, I'm sure this is little consolation to those people that invested in gdice early on and subsequently lost.
So basically, everybody loses here but you huh? Highly suspect.

In the immortal words of Lando Calrissian: "This deal is getting worse all the time!"

Figured I would go ahead and resurrect this thread since I was planning on picking up a few shares just to see what happens.

Keep the DVC alive fellas Smiley
2293  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: January 02, 2014, 05:36:35 AM
HI,
Please 1 question, 1 have a CeX.IO adress if I mining on,
What is the way to acess to my bitcoin adress and use my Bitcoin???

Morpheus21, under your cex.io tab you should see several tabs across the top [Trade] [Balance] [Referral] etc.

Click on [Balance]
*This will display your balances for all your cex.io wallets (btc, nmc, dev, ixc, and ltc). If your mining on ghash.io these balances will be updated automatically.
You should see several [Withdraw] buttons located next to each of your wallets. Simply click the [Withdraw] button of the coin your interested in withdrawing and it will ask you for destination address and amount. Once you have entered these cex.io will send you a confirmation e-mail asking you to confirm the withdrawal. Review your information before clicking that hyperlink because once you do there is no turning back.

**Note, make sure you don't get your wallet addresses screwed up. Doesn't work so well when you accidentally send a bunch of DVC to your BTC wallet address :p

Hope this helps.

2296  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What can I do with this information? on: December 27, 2013, 06:45:11 AM
Sorry for the vague details both my partner and I are finance guys and we are going to take a look tomorrow at it  and will post back with details. Sorry for the vagueness I am still learning computer science this stuff is intense, but changing it changing finance I got to be in the forefront of this.

thank you all
Post a photo or two of the rig and I'm sure you'll have all the major components, hash rate specifics, etc. spit out by a fine member of the community within hours I suspect Smiley

*Assuming this isn't a misunderstanding of some sort. Find it kinda strange for finance guy to be looking into purchasing a mining rig...unless your getting a sweet deal on it. Anyway, good luck.
2297  Economy / Securities / Re: New series of JDBIF options released! on: December 26, 2013, 02:57:37 PM
SCAM

This is jokerdragon's 6th spam thread on JDBIF.

He predicted the price going up to $250 during the dead cat's bounce. If you make a dozen contradicting predictions, you're going get a few correct.

Don't give him any of your coins.

It's also interesting how he just placed CALLs. Why not write some PUTs at your current share price? It's only going to go up, no? He's not going to write any reasonable amount of PUTs at the current trading price, because he knows that JDBIF has nothing but hot air in it.

+1

It's as obvious a scam as you can get.

Will DOGEcoin ever be more than a joke? Highly unlikely imho. But, stranger things have been afoot for quite sometime.

This coin is quickly becoming a non-factor in the alt-kingdom. Maybe a new exchange will help breathe a little life back into it. Only time will tell.
