You have favorite books as i see , if something positive/good on your favorite books (anonibet) you always highlight it, but if you found something bad on other books then you highlight only the negative things (directbet) Check the multiple payout toolip and you will see that you cant place the same amount bet, but only partial amount Use only normal leagues ( not NBA, champions league soccer and other top leagues) A professional gambler bet on value bets not top league markets (so top league markets high multiple limits means nothing) DirectBet was brought up by another poster yesterday. That's why it's been discussed the last 2 days. Prior to that DirectBet was almost never discussed. A poster stated that he thinks BTCBook is the only BTC book with race to. I stated that Anoniobet has that. You stated that you couldn't keep popping a bet until recently. That's always been available. When there were complaints against Anonibet, they were taken off the rating's guide. That was recently. I try to stay on topic of the book being discussed along with presenting new information. |

I have no problem with Directbet
but betvip (deposit arrived only 10 hours, withdrawal took more than a half day , wrong +/- sign handicap display)
betcoinsports (this week: bets graded after half day, could not bet more than 1-4 hours: always error; withdrawal took more than 24 hours, i got it only after contact support)
jetwin (limit your account very fast, a lot of arbs )
anonibet (low limit , max winning 0.5 BTC , no tennis handicap and a lot of markets missing )
webetcoins ( bets never graded, no answer , no withdrawal)
I can only suggest nitrogentsports, cloudbet and directbet (they have fix limit and instant withdrawal)
Instant withdrawal is a key.
Do not deposit too many btc to those bookmakers that have no instant withdrawal. (within 10 minutes)
You can calculate the average daily number of the placed bets on most of these sites, just place 2 bets (this Friday and next Friday) and betids will show how many bets were placed. ( average daily = (NextFridayBetID - ThisFridayBetID) /7 )

Do you know how many bets each site is taking? i can calculate it. But as i see you like anonibet and you placed some bet there. So what if you register to all rated books and try to place some bet (with the lowest allowed stake) and check it by yourself, hm ? If i were a bookmakers rating topic administrator then probably this would be my first experience with all books: to check all of them: register, deposit,place bet, check grading times, withdrawal, and repeat it every month at least once) I do all that with every book except ticket count since that can be inaccurate. |

Well those numbers can be manipulated by the book though. Smaller or scam books could do this to make it appear they have several bets coming in when in reality they're not. Peeps: you have anymore info on btcbook.eu - They had problems before with withdrawals but eventually paid out and there haven't been many complaints in their thread since. Odds are decent and they sometimes offer asian totals and handicaps for soccer, something I've been looking for awhile. The last 24 hours at DirectBet why is it that everytime I try to bet on your site..! I deposited 1.4 bitcoin on anonibet 2 weeks ago, placed 4 player proposition wagers at max bet (.5 bitcoin), won 2, lost 2, then last week, my max bet was lowered to .1 bitcoin, so I tried to cashout my 1.3 bitcoins and it was saying invalid pin code, so after a quick email response(they are very quick), they said I had to enter my pin code(which I never even setup in the first place) in order to cashout, so after another email, they reply: The pin code setting is a feature that was installed in order protect customers account therefore it will take at least 72 hours for the pincode to be disabled etc..., so after 120 hours go by with no response, I try to log onto my acccount and it won't let me login saying: "sorry, your ip location seems to be from a country with legal restrictions on gambling...etc", now they're telling me to use a VPN service? so, last night, I had my friend(who lives .5 miles from me w/ same zip code) open an account, and he had no problems with his IP, and he doesnt use VPN, so this login restriction thing seems bs...
When you talk to your friend again have him type in http://www.whatismyip.com/ or http://whatismyipaddress.com/. It will show his location. It would be interesting to see the location of the corresponding IP. |

Instead of insults, let's stick to the facts. Please list all the advantages that DirectBet has over other books.
The downtime isn't recent. It's an ongoing problem.
IMO, the only advantage directbet has is live betting. I haven't had any problems with downtime or getting paid from directbet in the past but their odds are TERRIBLE compared to nitro. I got bored of sports betting and to busy with other things so haven't been to directbet much in the past few months so can't comment on recent downtime and payouts. Directbet also appear to have a bunch of shills, not sure if they're getting paid with free bets or what. Either shills or people who haven't bet anywhere else so wouldn't know how bad their odds are. Include them in a poll and watch those shills vote them to the top  I remember seeing a poll where they beat primedice and a couple of other sites combined. Which is pretty hard to believe considering primedice alone has a good amount of supporters who are more active on this forum and their chat. I agree with most of what you stated. DirectBet does make things entertaining with the shills. |

To say nothing of the ongoing issue of them offering a non-sustainable bonus, seizing funds for bonus abuse without defining bonus abuse, etc., etc.
we can pick holes in every book but have to look at the totality. With the seizing of funds on that one person I asked him if he wanted help. He didn't want help thus I couldn't look at his account. From the little that I did see that was posted in the Anonibet thread, he was making 1.01 bets. I'm not sure how Anonibet calculates rollovers, it could be the lessor of the risk/payout. Since I don't have permission to look into the account, it has to be considered a non-factor. edit- Besides that, you have to look at the credibility of the poster. The player posted a lot of misinformation. |

Part of the reason for so much downtime at DirectBet is lack of man power. If another site goes down, they have multiple programmers to fix the problem. Most of the other sites have experienced gamblers as part of their team. DirectBet is still learning on the job.
I seriously hope the best for DirectBet but as stated in a previous post, they are an amateur operation. They aren't close to the quality of the other books.

I don't know if this is still a problem but a player posted a parlay ticket at DirectBet. The parlay showed the total risk/win amount but didn't show the odds of each leg. If one leg pushes the player should know the price of that leg to properly calculate the winnings.

Realistically they aren't close to an "A" rated book. If you look at their thread, they have down time and grading problems on a daily basis. Their rating should be "C-"
It seems that many people promoting DirectBet haven't played at other books. If you compare DirectBet to other books there aren't any advantages to playing at Directbet other than not having to deposit.
This is actually a negative since there are more steps in making a bet with DirectBet causing players to get shut out at DirectBet more than any other book.
Along with Nitrogen they are in fact the only book deserving to be even close to an A grade. So what they have downtime? I wouldn't say these are on a daily basis but yes they have become more frequent lately. Grading problems are to do with the odds providers, not the sites themselves and are unavoidable, although, having bet at DB for almost a year, I've never had to wait more than an hour for a payout. I bet several times a day. I actually use many books but DirectBet is the best for me. I don't see how no deposits is a negative either and I think that further emphasizes your obvious bias against DirectBet. Bet transfers are "seen" by their system in 99% of cases for me within 5-10 seconds. Along with the "negotiate" option when live betting you have no risk of misplacing bets, and the only risk of losing funds is if the book runs away whilst your events are in progress. For me, the no deposit thing is probably the best invention a sportsbook could use and eliminates most of their ability to shut up shop with a lot of money in their pocket. That's a massive plus. Like I said, Nitrogen is the only book that is close to DirectBet as things stand and this is plain for most to see. It's time you put your childish feud with DirectBet to bed, Peeps. Thanks If your web site is down you can't see this info. You web site was not accessible to me (in the UK) from 2130UTC on the 14th until the point I made my last "chasing my losses" bet at about 1100UTC on the 15th.
Directbet: Please could you reply to my email with your correspondence address. I'd like to ask my solicitor to clear up a few hopefully minor inconsistencies in conversations and versions of events over the last few days and I would like this to be done out of the public eye. However, something I learned while betting everywhere; once the site starts getting buggy, you cash out and wait for the storm to pass.
