2281  Economy / Speculation / Re: What comes next for Bitcoin: $20K or $30K? on: February 21, 2023, 08:43:58 PM
I iam hoping for 20k as i think we need way more time to accumulate if we really want to moon, and if we hit 30k well get past it imho. And as we this is most likely going to be a bouncy launch anyway and i would rather see that volatility happening near 20k then in 50k as dropping from higher would be horrific for some alts
2282  Economy / Economics / Re: The Rise of GPT AI. Crypto is at risk? on: February 21, 2023, 08:32:47 PM
Over the recent years, technology has improved leaps and bounds, and one notable development is the rise of GPT AI, an artificial intelligence that allows machine to interact with humans in a more natural and conversational way. We cannot ignore the fact that it lessens the amount of work needed in some areas in our economy and society, thanks to the advancements of machine learning, natural language processing and deep learning, as a result GPT AI has become a powerful tool for businesses. Although we could say it gives us benefit, we can't still be so sure with the risks involved that maybe can outweighed or may potentially ruin the economy.

"GPT AI has also been used to develop trading bots that can automatically execute trades based on pre-programmed rules and conditions. These bots can monitor the market 24/7 and make trades based on real-time data, which can lead to more profitable trades and reduced risk."

Based on that statement alone, we can conclude that there will be potential risks such as trading bots that could manipulate the market which could lead to significant losses.
How about you, what are your thoughts regarding this one?

I am not getting your point. We can already manipulate markets, could have for a long time even with bots. And can you give me one example how AI ruins economy? Do you mean it will steal our jobs? Doesn't it just mean that people move to do other jobs like with every invention out there. Years ago we wouldn't have even dream that youtube influencers would be a job genre. There will be many other we didn't think was an option.

This is my User ID: up150905957
I just need to know how much longer should I wait?
Also please let me know why it has to take so long?
What kind of decision making takes 2 months?
Even the most complicated political matters don't take that long to resolve.
If you don't mind could either of you also inform us when the issue gets resolved because i am assuming it didn't get resolved. I don't have currently any money in CEX.io but i have an account in there and depending on the time this gets resolved affects if i want to use their service in the future.
2284  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitnity.com - a community-driven gambling platform on: February 21, 2023, 06:35:39 PM
In your twitter it says that you are airdropiing 10 x 10,000 $BTNTY tokens. So are you choosing 10 users randomly to drop those or is it 10 different airdrops?
In order to qualify for airdrop, as stated in the tweet, you need to fulfill at least one of the five conditions, where each entitles you to conditionally 1 ticket in a draw where 10 users will receive 10,000 BTNTY tokens, but since there are not so many participants, there are chances.
Wait i can participate just with one ticket after fulfilling one condition? That doesn't seem like a fair game. Let's see those conditions:

Quote
👉1. Sign up on https://bitnity.com
So i have already participated to raffle with one ticket after i joined? I don't have to stake or anything? Great.

Quote
👉2. Retweet this post
And is it ok if i shall use 50 different alt twitter accounts and retweet from those. I wouldn't even need a Bitnity account or anything else to participate. I am assuming it is ok as how could you possibly prove that i was cheating. And after i win i just provide my eth address(es)?

Quote
👉3. Join our Discord
I am assuming this is optional

Quote
👉4. Deposit and Stake $BTNTY
👉5. Contribute to the ETH Bankroll
I am not sure if these are worth it if tweeting from 2 different alt accounts are worth same amount of tickets.

Hey, guys! How do you feel about quizzes?
-cut-
So is there Is there any way to check how many has participated to calculate odds for winning?
I tried to search with #betfury_cryptoquiz in twitter but didn't even see my own tweet so i guess there are many others not showing in the feed and i can't calculate from those.
2286  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: February 21, 2023, 05:34:34 PM
I think that Russian propaganda is crafted to hone in on and take advantage of people this insulated from reality. People so broken they would side with obvious evil because it somehow makes them feel more powerful, which is more important to them than empathizing with those suffering the consequences of Putin's actions.
Sure, feeding delusions of broken and deranged people is a good tactical move from Russia, (evil but effective) as broken people without purpose in life are particularly receptive for reflexive control tactic.

They keep believing that if they could criticize Russia as well they are independent like some people in this thread. That suits Russia very well as it makes the trolls more authentic.
And trolls keep thinking they are thinking they are finding the "truth" by themselves while they are fed by russian troll factories mixed with total lunacy.

They are totally ignoring opinions from experts and cherry pick truths that fit their narrative. Truths that are simple and exciting enough for their brains. They are not interested of any boring or complicated truths as their lives are often boring and insignificant enough and they won't find meaning or their place from the truth so they won't accept it.

Russian goal is to slowly break and weaken the enemy from inside by creating as much doubt confusion and chaos as possible while weakening ties of allies of the target countries. This leaves them isolated and open for attack.

What Russia for some reason didn't calculate was the fact that unfriendly countries are now more unified then ever because of the attack. That might be because Putin surrounded himself with yes men and didn't have a full picture. Either that or he is just that stupid.

Has anyone noticed regarding the latest update from betfury, that the free btc box will only be available for level 2 accounts and is valid from 27th February, it seems that many are abusing the faucet from betfury so betfury needs to update

Well that could explain my rate limited login problems as well as they are fighting against abusers and bot armies.
But i didn't have a clue that their faucet boxes were open to lvl 1 newbs before?! I wonder why they get those open for everyone. Only people who don't have enough money to spend and bot armies abusing the system will use those and neither one of them are good for business.
2288  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VIDEO: Thousands killed in Turkey, Syria following massive quake that struck... on: February 20, 2023, 11:40:46 PM
Ok, i see that fundamental christians have moved from "earthquakes happens because of gays" to conspiratards saying that earthquakes happens because of magic earthquake machines. Anything but reality because reality is not in control and boring i guess.

Why is it that conspiratards always want to be in centre of every plot? Do they feel more important that way and get meaning to their lives? No need for difficult scientific approach when you can invent your own truth that's more interesting, easier to understand and gives your life more purpose and meaning.
2289  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself: 2023 vs 2019 on: February 20, 2023, 11:27:03 PM
People always say that this time is going to be different. I heard it and read about it multiple times and you can do it too, just look for some bear market posts from 2011, 2014, 2018 and so on.
You seem to still fall for it.
-cut-
I always took that as a joke and a meme, said in a sarcastic tone meaning the exact opposite. That there will always be a bear market after a bull market and nothing changes.
Well maybe regulators have came into play. I am not sure if them trying to remove any pseudonymity /anonymity is all good dor the decentralized nature of crypto though.

I am sure some are genuinely believing that phrase and think that something massive and game changing is coming that changes the whole game, but i see those massive things coming and going too. And massive things are needed in order to reach another ath over and over.

That's probably why Russia is gaining worldwide respect and the 'collective West' is losing it.
-cut-
Sadly for the 'collective West' and the U.S. in particular, they are currently led/controlled/owned by people who have the sneaky-creepy mentality.  It makes us all look bad, makes it a lot harder to negotiate since it's pointless to make agreements with liars, and puts us all in danger.  It takes a long time to build a reputation as a straight-shooter and only a short time to lose it.

If I were a Russian, I would be pleased with Putin for at least developing Russia's reputation no matter what I thought of his politics.  I am an American, and I've been so disappointed by the reputation we've developed that I left the place.  At least that was one of the reasons.
-cut-
Lmao, Russian reputation where people see them being good in falling from windows, totalitarianism, raping, torturing, slaughtering of their own people, oppressing, racist, corrupt, threat to a free world. Must be fun to be on the that side of the history. Just be glad that you won't have to deal with that on daily basis personally and you don't have to live near to them. It's easy being a coward from a distance.

Hopefully russian troll factories pays you guys enough because if you are doing that for free you are an useful idiot

I was thinking of gambling $50-$100 with one single bet in sugar rush. What are my changes for hitting free spins with that one spin or even winning big with that one spin? I know my changes are low but the potential reward would be really high. What do you guys think?

Would you suggest me something else with one bet and potentially high reward? Some specific slot machine, live casino, game show or a stake original game for it?

-cut-
I do not know what you mean with "only" partners, but partners are liable for what they are advertising.
-cut-
Can i also sue my local tv channel for selling advertising spot for a product i wasn't happy with? That doesn't make much sense.

1 _when a marriage is about falling ,think about the kids and how divorce will make things wrong and difficult for them
-cut-
If the other option is constant fighting and threat of violence, divorce is way better option for kids. And if kids are lucky parents still both want to participate to raising them, even if that happens bi-weekly in seperate addresses. And usually they do. It just depends on the situation if they can do that.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If AI were to somehow hack into Bitcoin Core on: February 20, 2023, 10:02:19 PM
Now this is an interesting subject. With AI becoming so advanced so quickly I wonder if it would ever even be possible for something like a crazy powerful AI computer w/ like unlimited computational power to hack into BTC Core and every system running it to change the code/transactional data? Its so wild even thinking about it, and obviously nearly impossible to do. But does anyone know the exact math or how to run an equation to figure out how advanced a system would need to be to do this? Obviously would need to be a 51% attack or more to achieve this, and I do believe the largest mining pools are run out of China, so largely they would probably need to be on board with something like that, right?
There's not going to be such thing as unlimited computational power, and if there would be, we would live in a whole different kind of world.
Anyway you can see the cost of 51% attack from here: https://www.crypto51.app/
It would be throwing money away because they would make way more money just using that mining power to mine bitcoin Tongue.
2294  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance's 98% Dominance: Should We Be Worried? on: February 20, 2023, 09:57:05 PM
This doesn't sound right. Where does coinalyze get their cex volume data from? Because if it's coinmarketcap.com data i am assuming that binance would like us to believe that their fake btc volume is way less fake then in other exchanges.

2295  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Any of you is selling ? on: February 20, 2023, 09:48:39 PM
I'm the owner of a small crypto brokerage firm and im looking for partners selling bitcoin in the long term.

Must be a really small firm if you don't even bother to name it or give any more details. Yet it isn't small enough that you could use exchanges to buy from and you need OTC?
Anyway, this post should be moved from trading to more suitable section like https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0
2296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give it a break. on: February 20, 2023, 09:30:41 PM
What I do is that I have money that I set weekly for it, if I lose more than it, I stop gambling that week, no matter what. If I win and lose and the money has not finished, I can continue to gamble if I still see it interesting that week. I only go for gambling budget and just not more than 5% of my week income.
Same here but if i am on losing streak i sometimes need to take a break to walk and cool myself. I don't mind losing my weekly budget but not in one sitting because i am too heated and if i stay on the table i might want to make everything back fast and make way too risky bets without proper research and bigger bets.

i Remember that the website used to check every Token before publishing it to the public.
-cut-
When was this? I remember them listing everything after they were in 2 exchanges. That's the only requirement i can remember them having back in time before Binance took it over. They are just not going to rank something with made up marketcap and 2 token holders, that's enough security to me. It would be insanely difficult to filter everything "legit" as people are trading tokens that are not "legit" they would just move to coingecko or other marketcap indexers that list them.
2298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to run a bounty campaign? on: February 20, 2023, 05:08:53 PM
As a newbie? I doubt that any project are going to hire you right away to run their bounty campaign, it's not how it works here. You need to build your reputation and obviously you even don't have any experience, so I would say forget about it.

And why you want to become a bounty manager in the first place? it has a lot of responsibilities, and I don't know if you can cope up with it, so the pressure is there. Then you might work with some scam projects that don't pay and you will be the one going to be hit hard by complains from bounty hunters themselves. So that's my advise mate, if you really wanted to become one, build your reputation but it's not a easy task.
My guess is that op has heard from someone that bounty managers make more money than bounty hunters and just decided to be bounty manager without having any idea what bounty managers do. I've considered that as a job as well. I don't mind the responsibilities but workload seems intense. Even with automating most things you would need to know how to deal with cheaters and i have no idea hot to verify original content especially in the time of artificial intelligence. And i feel like that wouldn't be even my biggest problem.

Does Elon really take doge to the moon?
-cut-
What do you consider to be a moon? It's nr 11 in marketcap, 8th if you remove stablecoins. So i would ike to know how is it not mooned already? It can grow with other altcoins but elon has nothing to do with that anymore. Elon isn't buying dogecoin nor is he backing it. He is mainly trolling the whole crypto community by creating more hype as he wants to be seen a cool and eccentric billionaire.

I don't have anything against with doge, and for a long time i had sympathy for it. But if i had to choose between shiba and doge i would go for shiba in a heartbeat.
