2281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: lets imagine world without fiat currency on: November 07, 2020, 04:21:24 PM
now lets imagine world without fiat currency.
lets say we use bitcoins.
so milk price how many btc?  fuel price? rent ? and how the prices will calculated?
and if there is only limited supply of bitcoins.....then those who who have bitcoins merely will rule over others?
so your skills or value in society dont count only matters who go the most of the bitcoins?
bitcoin halving by the time so less and less btc will be in circleation....so how the world will remain sustaineble then ?
okay if bitcoin is not good to be currency then ethereum ?? well ethereum is centralised as i know ?
stable currenies?? well i dont see point of them they are just the 1:1 of the same fiat currrencies.
so where does the theory come from then we go all in cryptocurrency and fiat currency will disapere?
well this is not possible bitcoin without fiat can not serve all the peoples currecny needs !!

right now we dont have clear answere so fiat currency still rules. how we are going to control the money supply how big quantity of currency is in circelation?
if bitcoin is the future of money without fiat then everybody will have the guns and shoot each other:D just to get other bitcoins becouse btc has limited supply lol Cheesy   so i want to know if fiat currency will disapere then how the new currency will be issued? and how it will be backed?

and please dont comment something nonsense Smiley lets try to gather here only smart comments as this topic is important topic to know.

See this won't be practical because there are many people living here within any internet , mobile and even basic needs , so we have to take it into account that these people won't be able to get involved.

We have to then think about many factors at once , how do you think the instant withdraws buying works ? The price can be calculated online within matter of seconds. But this would need a major dominance of internet and good softwares.

Now this would mean that Old people and kids won't be able to use it that much.

We cannot ignore :
People without good knowledge of Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies
People without any internet and basic facilities
Counties who are not much involved with them and where the cryptocurrencies are banned

It would be a bad idea for sure.
2282  Economy / Economics / Re: Demand of inside dollars on: November 07, 2020, 02:53:12 PM
Biden president times will create a inside demand of USA dollars.
It means rates will be slashed up a lot.
It means USA dollar on forex will Go higher.
As there will be less USA dollars.
Biden will make dollar strong.
But American economy will be weak

I do believe that the economy of the country and the amount of USD being printed are only slightly interrelated during the pandemic. I don't think you are getting the point really. Just by halting the printing of dollars , you cannot make the dollar strong. This is very complicated right now. You should understand that the dollar won't increase in price until and unless the whole country starts improving their economic situation. Get more jobs , improve the market situation, make good use of the incentives , proper care for the students. There are many things one has to do.

America is too fragile to handle sudden stoppage. I do think that through all these incentives Trump was indirectly bribing the people ! The wanted them to vote for him since this would mean he would continue to support them in a pretty unfair manner.

When on the other hand they needed jobs, security and better healthcare.

A decline is natural but what you should be more worried about is the State of the people struck with pandemic and the healthcare.
2283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 07, 2020, 01:32:42 PM
This is truly unfortunate.
That is why I believe the talk about gambling should be open and discussed. I know that in many countries like India, it is considered something that is untouchable and shouldn't be talked about with kids and teens whereas at the same time at every corner you will find old people gambling and Drinking.
People do have to learn the idea of Responsible gambling, asking for help , discussing. Gambling by itself is not a bad sport but with time and unfortunate habits one can destroy themselves.

- Always gamble responsibly
- Never take such extreme step even if you loose a lot , money can be earned back , not your life.
- Seek help
- talk with your friends and Family members about Addiction.

This is extremely important that we do know that with gambling comes responsibility and thus it would be better if we can share positive attributes with the community and our families at the same time look out for negative points.
2284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NotYourKeys.org on: November 07, 2020, 11:39:50 AM
This right here is not just for beginners but also for people who are still using exchanges and wallets.

I have heard about news where people actually had millions worth of Bitcoins but still decided to store them in an exchange!! You have to invest if you have to make things work out.
If you are holding Bitcoins above a certain value and you want to hold it for a long term then you should buy a hardware wallet.

- exchanges are also different , find the one that's secure and good for you
- one has to also focus on mobile security, cyber security , make sure you don't accidentally install any malicious malware , install apps from non trusted websites.

But kudos on trying to help the beginners. It's a really good initiative. Keep updating and adding !!
2285  Economy / Economics / Re: This is why bitcoin HAS to go up on: November 05, 2020, 06:18:38 PM
Has to go up is a pretty strong statement. When we talk about the limited supply of Bitcoins we do know that sooner or later when the supply will be halted due to Demand and supply we will hit high for sure.
At the same time I do think that the current pandemic situation is really something that has made everyone question the economic stability and people and firms alike have started investing in Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies.
We don't know what price would it be , but I do think that the applications and the overall usage of Bitcoins will increase as a whole.
It's not just about America .. we have many other countries in a worse situation !!

There are many nations whose GDP is still going down and might get hit by recession soon..
2286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The main driving force behind bitcoin rally on: November 05, 2020, 12:59:01 PM
Every second the price is climbing up but then again I don't think we can give credit of this situation to anyone since what we are seeing here is the commutative effect of many factors.
- we have seen Bitcoins being accepted more
- being used more in the time of Pandemic
- altcoins are not performing well
- people were afraid if Trump won , he would impose more regulations but we are not sure what biden's stand would be on Bitcoins
- the demand of Bitcoins is increasing in industries , in businesses
- falling economy of many countries
- the third wave of COVID Making people hopeless about the situation

How can we point it to one thing ?
2287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of the top 10 btc wallets hacked? on: November 04, 2020, 08:39:19 AM
Whenever I hear about the hacked news , most of the times as it turns out it's the problem with the safety measures taken by the person who has been using them. If he did have that much money , couldn't he would have invested in a good hardware wallet ?

- If you do have more than a certain amount you have to buy a good hardware wallet and make sure to avoid the third party sites.

Not your keys , not your wallet
We have heard this like millions of times !
But implementation : 0

At the end of the day blockchain is just another technology, now this goes without saying that we might have someone who will soon find the flaws , but as I see here it was the fault of the wallet and the owner alike.
2288  Economy / Economics / Re: The Destruction Of The Euro on: November 02, 2020, 06:49:48 PM
Let's leave Europe and Asia , even leave the USA. If we did focus on the countries who needs more focus like :
Africa

We would be able to see the impact of the pandemic for real. Now countries like USA is asking help from small countries , this is actually a deplorable situation. I don't think the Euro have failed as a whole. But exchanging that for electronics is actually very wrong, this would not only cause problems for the people but it would also cause a decrease in the value eventually.

No exchange would be good. Other than exchange for precious metals or even cryptocurrencies ? Economy is weak for sure but I believe it's not just europe but everywhere else. Let's focus on the underdeveloped and developing countries more.
2289  Economy / Gambling / Re: PokerShares.com ♠️ ♥️ ♣️ ♦️ | The First Poker Bookmaker| Politics | Dice on: November 02, 2020, 06:29:49 PM
Hello

Is it possible that your site can stop asking for cookies ?
Plus is it possible that we might have more options , other than just Democrats and Republicans ?

-what about other candidates in the elections ? Are you guys going to get other people involved too , other than Biden and Trump ?

Plus as per the previous questions , they are providing bonus starting from 100 euros.

Loose back bonus would actually be a good option as mentioned above .

See campaigns are actually something that introduces people to the new site , which might depend on the public opinion too. So if someone's campaign didn't work out , maybe they had enough traffic or maybe they weren't happy with the results? It depends on a lot of factors and assumptions cannot be made.

2290  Economy / Economics / Need of the hour : Use the Crisis on: November 02, 2020, 05:07:21 PM
Hello everyone I am quite aware that we all are going through a tough time. With the third wave of the virus , the lockdown have caused chaos worldwide. I do think that the only possible solution we have is to: Use the Crisis in our favour. Think about all the things that can be done to start a new business, earn from home. As for me I believe we have to rely less on the government but more importantly start small businesses, this is the only way that we will be able to go though the pandemic.

-start small businesses
Example: Food service , tutoring kids through zoom etc..
-go with small investments and look for what people are looking, if you are living in an area with students living in hostel , 24*7 food service is going to get you like 100-200$ per 2-3 days ( Tried and tested Wink )
-only apply for those jobs which do have favourable conditions for the workers ex- free insurance etc.

What is your business idea ? During this pandemic? You think it would work ? Why/why not ? Let's share !
2291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuela to incorporate Bitcoin and litecoin wallets into national remittances on: November 02, 2020, 04:34:48 PM
Venezuela through its Patria blog has revealed its plan of incorporating bitcoin and litecoin wallets into national remittances platform. Already Venezuela is among the top three countries with the increased usage of cryptocurrencies. Also the government has acknowledged and recommended the cryptocurrency mining. Will this move make any changes in the economy of Venezuelans.

Source : cryptopress.network
This was something that we already knew about since even in the past venezuela have supported Bitcoins because of improper economic situation, fragile government and non consistent growth of the country as a whole , venezuela does need any help that they can get. The people are already well versed about Bitcoins and if the government also starts supporting them , I do believe that it would be very good for the countrie's economic situation since people will have a little freedom to do much more things.

But at the same time it would be also a lesson for other countries who are deadset on avoiding Bitcoins , any Cryptocurrencies as a whole.

We have to for sure keep looking at the stats of the country's growth, adoption, the usage. I believe it can be a good lesson for everyone alike.
2292  Economy / Gambling / Re: primedice and stake dont show you your profit stats, it is a form of scam on: November 02, 2020, 08:06:16 AM
That my friend is : strategies that these sites use to actually hook in the customers. It's nothing wrong , nothing like a scam , but they just use the emotions and the words to actually change the perspective of the person as a whole.
I believe if a site is doing that and you are unhappy , you can very easily:
- log into different site
- use your own calculator and see for yourself
Both of these methods will work but what am more baffled about is someone using that remaining 0.1 btc to gain 0.1 more... See 0.1 btc is already a huge amount and if someone is gambling with it and looses it. Cool down , give it time, take a break. Don't do anything in the heat of the moment... Sooner or later you might regret it.

That's just use of words , strategical planning and not a scam.
2293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New way to cheat with Bitcoin! be careful on: November 02, 2020, 05:40:37 AM
Just because the price of bitcoins is increasing and at the same time media is covering it in many parts in weird ways like " people became millionaires with this simple trick and such " my local news covers Bitcoins as something that would make you rich overnight. People who know nothing about it tends to believe and these scammers uses this to pry on the uneducated people.
-it's too good to be true
-why should you contact someone when everyone is capable of handling their funds themselves.
-it's impossible within a short period see the charts.
2294  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the duck is btc at 13.526,98 USD ? on: November 01, 2020, 06:21:01 PM
Why the duck is btc at 13.526,98 USD ?

I honestly just don't understand bitcoin as a financial instrument/asset ,all financial books tell me that i should never buy bitcoin ..bitcoin it's mind f...king

Finance ,economy, investing books need to be rewritten as all they say in those books ,bitcoin is doing the opposite ...if btc goes 20k Warren Buffet is dead to me ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTMj4cg64yw

How is it possible ? ( beside whales pumping the price )

First of all those financial books that you are reading might have been published even way before BTC came into existence. The idea is new , it would take time to be accepted in the society and till that time you have to ask yourself : why are you on this forum and writing this post ?

- the answers is : you are interested in Bitcoins

In the future if you do decide to buy bitcoin you have to make sure you do know everything, the basics and deal with the volatility too.

It's a long term investment for me, an opportunity through which I can work from home without much problems. It's an important part of my life which did help me start my artistic business too. I think you should understand the meaning behind Bitcoins , their existence , you should also try it for yourself and then write another book maybe Wink a new financial one , which doesn't only look at the Bitcoins but at the big picture as a whole.
2295  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but... on: November 01, 2020, 05:39:30 PM
As I couldn't complete the question in the title, below it is:

How far will you go when you sent btc to a site with high fee but could not get it into the site because either the fee was low based on that time or they credit it after some confirms. Fee has become the talk of crypto nerds and everyone thinks that it is already so high. What will happen when price is high and miners increase fee, mempool is clogged and you have your favorite winning bet available right there on the table but your btc is in your wallet and you want it to reach the gambling site anyhow to bet and win? Give your valuable opinions as they matter.

See if you did send the money from a wallet which allows you to increase the price of the transaction fee when you have already sent it then you can just increase the fee afterwards. But if you are using a wallet which does not allow you to do that , you can just wait for it to confirm and then make another transaction with appropriate fees then you can place your bets and then send the money back in the wallet of use it for the future.

Taken you are using a website which is trustable so you can wait for a while for using that btc.

Rest use wallets like samourai since you will have more options. You have fee options there like :
Urgent
Normal
Low

You can choose depending upon the time you can wait until you make a bet.
2296  Economy / Economics / Re: What are they hiding from us? on: November 01, 2020, 05:15:22 PM
I believe you have to understand for a fact that , this is Annual Inflation rate , which is quite right , even in the US it is around 1.3-1.4%.
If we are thinking about the 100 years or 200 years , we can just multiply that by the annual rate and get the inflation rate for all those years which would be quite dad and drastic.
You would have heard your parents say how they could buy a whole bunch of stuff in 1$ when they were kids. You have to see it year by year basis.
By the way it can be different for different areas , different parts of the city , maybe vary even in a 100 km area ! Popularity, resources, everything plays a big role... Therefore I believe this average ones needs to be divided and then analyzed, plus never ever trust the stats Presented by the government.... Find for yourself.. maybe try and use the formula, check the price 200 years before if it is documented.. maybe write a post about it or a blog ?
2297  Economy / Economics / Re: Second lockdown in Europe can their economy survive this?. on: November 01, 2020, 04:29:29 PM
This is not even the worst condition in the whole world. Trust me when I say this :
Humans are very intelligent creatures but the fact that they are able to withstand the situations and at the same time change accordingly is astounding. We have adapted ourselves according to the pandemic and now people have actually started to open up their shops , businesses according to the situation and Excel in it.
- I don't think the economy will go much down
- we have better and faster tests and many countries are using the vaccines , skipping the trial 3 , just giving it to teachers and doctors so we have yet to get its results.
- everything is already online and people have seen this situation, so it would be easy to just implement those practices without much thought
- the ridiculous prices of masks and sanitizers are now down and the shortage of medical equipments are being taken care of.

The world is much more efficient and much more equipped to handle such waves now.
2298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin betting on the 2020 US Presidential Election | Trump vs Biden on: November 01, 2020, 03:46:39 PM
US Election betting | Trump vs Biden

We wrote a piece on what the betting markets can tell us about Trump vs Biden. From now until Nov 3, we will be sharing our analysis on betting, poll and voting patterns after each presidential debate.

Hope you guys enjoy the read and stay tuned!

Check out our best bitcoin odds on the 2020 US Presidential Election!

We had many threads like this already in the past and I believe that neither of them will win because we have many more candidates who are actually more capable and more educated than them both.
Saying how only trump or biden will win seems a little redundant to me. I believe that if words come to an end and I would have to choose someone I would choose biden but then again biden is corrupted and trump , we all know how he is...but then again he managed to win the elections so we cannot really trust the judgement of Americans.
For the sake of the bet I would go for : Biden
But won't actually even waste my time on betting on this.
2299  Economy / Gambling / Re: Deepsum: a Novel Algorithm for Bitcoin Dice Roulette on: November 01, 2020, 02:21:07 PM
Well let's see. I been busy with modules so I don't have much time to test your bot but I have something to ask about what sites that you can use this bot?. As the thread title said that it's for bitcoin dice roulette. I have read and learn that some bots can be customized as you have mentioned and I did know about it. I also found that some bots are only applicable for the site that it based. Example: 777coin bot for 777coin site only.

Some sites are very fast and some sites are very slow. But fast sites always require a minimum size of bet which is more than 1/100,000,000 of the currency.

You are right all, gambling is not for sustainable profit. Gambles are for entertainment. The feeling of conquering the house is very fantastic. Never play with the money you cannot afford losing.

Despite this there are many people in this world who do use gambling as an income source .. there are literally people known as the Professional Gamblers those people have all the strategies to earn millions !!

The person who discovered card counting was a brilliant mathematician and his techniques are still being used today.

-It is completely obvious that you should not gamble with the money you cannot afford to loose since it would not only be difficult for the long run but also cause addiction in many cases.

-one always needs to be responsible no doubt.

-*-

As far as the algorithm is concerned , did someone try it ?
By the way if you are using Onion , you should know that there are many places where it's banned .. but at many places it's considered a good thing to protect privacy as a whole.
2300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The crypto compliance lie: Sacrificing privacy does not make us safer on: November 01, 2020, 10:25:15 AM
But in the midst of all this , aren't our privacies already sacrificed now ? The government doesn't even allow us to use wallets without doing the KYC first which is connected to our bank accounts, our number, our alternative bank accounts if any then the passport of the individual which might easily track him down even if he tried opening an overseas account.
If wallets are not asking users for KYC those wallets are right away banned and then people have to look for a new alternative which is mostly SegWit wallet like : samourai but then again if they do want to sell their coins they would have to do this through a trusted exchange that will actually ask the users for KYC again !

We are already in this web.
Government is supporting it because they know that it's better to play like the friend and then see what's going on inside the wallets of millions of people and then implement Taxation to gain money.

It's a dark dark side my friend.... unfortunate
