2301  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: In their defense, BF Labs Inc. has excellent Customer Service. on: August 20, 2013, 08:27:09 PM
If K9 were paid,

He would ask:

What is the ROI like in February 2014?
(Yikes, don't do that!)
2302  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: In their defense, BF Labs Inc. has excellent Customer Service. on: August 20, 2013, 08:23:40 PM
What Inaba should say is that the first sample units will be available in November and possibly through December. As they refine the product they will ship en masse through to January and February.

Therefore all customers will get their units within this time frame. They should expect an early delivery. (without defining what "early means" Wink )

---------------------

See? You don't see that class of Bullshit coming out of Inaba. They paid for a rookie, they get a rookie.
2303  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: In their defense, BF Labs Inc. has excellent Customer Service. on: August 20, 2013, 08:20:20 PM
Notice how Josh/Inaba completely dodges the question...

To be fair, he get's paid to dodge questions. To do otherwise would cause his reality to collapse on itself in a singularity of hubris, arrogance, and ignorance.
You should see the type of dodging they do in congress when questioned about a specific matter.

Would make Josh look like a sitting duck.
2304  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: In their defense, BF Labs Inc. has excellent Customer Service. on: August 20, 2013, 08:17:35 PM
Notice how Josh/Inaba completely dodges the question of why they are selling November/December 2013 to their investors when they have already admitted the product will not realistically ship until January of 2014.

He also dodged the question of what changed in the last 3 days that caused a 2 month delay?

Sockpuppets gotta sock?
Actually it looks like it is february. Go look in the other threads.

3 days and already a 3 month delay?
Even I never expected the surprise sex to be this swift and this brazen.

I am an Inaba supporter!

Inaba does nothing wrong. He is simply misunderstood. He is only the face of a company that took in millions in June 23rd 2012, and started delivery in April 1, 2013. Then a couple of delays happen, people got confused because they dunk their heads in the toilet all the time, and now BFL customers are just "angry" for no good reason.

Tell them Josh, they are angry for no good reason. Go on, say it. You know you are above board in every single aspect of BFL.

------------------

STUPID BFL customer! If you cocksuckers are reading this it is because you want you money back. Well, you know what? BFL did everything right, and NO, you cannot get your money back. PERIOD.

So hurry up and wait until December or February.

This is what it is like to buy from a reputable asic company that does everything above board.

Makes you wonder what Judge Judy would say if Inaba were in her courtroom?

What would Judge Wagner say about the whole BFL escapade?
2308  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: In their defense, BF Labs Inc. has excellent Customer Service. on: August 20, 2013, 07:57:36 PM
an idiot, moron

you should be happy that you are still not arrested for fraud instead of bitching to other forum members.

And why is that?  No fraud has been committed, so why would there be arrests made?  Your little fantasy land doesn't apply to reality, sorry.

Starts the "Free Inaba® Fund" (FIF)

Someone want to donate to free this future jail bird?

Disclosure, it will take at least 10,000 BTC to buy him a get out of jail free card.
Disclosure2, I have taken it upon myself to spray him down with justice repellent. Don't worry, they won't get him that easy.  Grin
Disclosure3, Inaba is innocent until proven guilty (by reasonable doubt). Unless Obama calls him a "financial terrorist".
2309  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who here already pre-ordered the Monarch 28 nm Bitcoin mining card ??? on: August 20, 2013, 07:48:45 PM
IF Inaba says "November" or "December",
Declare, "February" + (FUnction, nextyear)
Else IF Inaba says "January" or "February",
Declare, "April to September" + (FUnction, nextyear)
End IF

IF Error, Declare "Inaba did it!"
Else, Declare "Sonny Ran away with your money positive ROI?"

Loop

Wait... let me get this straight... now people are complaining that I'm giving an estimate on when you'll receive your product if you order now and I'm not being optimistic enough about it, immediately after complaining that my previous estimates were too optimistic?  And ya'll wonder why people think some of you are completely insane.
Because you are optimistic.

Here's the plan: We sneak over to Jody's house and see what kind of chickens she raises. Then, we go and buy some, each day adding one to the pen. She'll think she lost her mind and commit herself to the funny farm.
I like your plan.  Cheesy

What's the latest info over at Camp BFL about Josh gettin' the boot? Treads? Blog? Shoutbox?
Why do you think he would get the boot?

Don't worry folks, he is just checking in to make sure people haven't found a way to make them into jail birds.
2314  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL announces 28nm 600GH/S blade for $4680 on: August 19, 2013, 12:51:49 PM
I am actually looking to make an excel sheet that gives people an idea of what Gh/s or Th/s they should have on them to keep making a profitable investment.

The problem is, I have no clue where to start. Such a sheet needs to account for alot of little but important bits.

Like how do you determine what is a good Gh/s to dollar ratio at any given difficulty? By profit?
2315  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL order hold at customs (France) - what do? on: August 19, 2013, 07:20:11 AM
All you can do is pray, Trout.

Pray they do not turn it on. Or that the terminal catches fire from the fumes of it's raw performance.

Pray, pray harder. Pray that the fan blade does not come off the fan if they open it and inspect the insides while it is on.

Pray that the kids who put it together remembered to use thermal paste or even connect that fan....

Just Pray.

Can more people ignore me?

I want to know if I can get to black?

Inaba assures me all the time that I have nothing important to say. I promise.
2317  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL announces 28nm 600GH/S blade for $4680 on: August 19, 2013, 07:01:35 AM

If something is built with a rotten foundation then it is in fact rotten.   Using the justification of the potential harm to customers as a reason not to right past wrongs in my opinion is the same line that is used to justify continue bad actions because fixing them will hurt people initially.  Food for thought.

What I don't like is seeing people taken advantage of and then treated with disrespect when other call it out.

Guy doing a conn in the subway: Common, buy you golden nickles right here!
Me: Hey buddy, they don't make them out of gold.
Guy doing a conn in the subway: Wazzup bitch!? Shit keep quiet, don't you understand that if you tell them that, then nobody buys?
Me: I understand that, but you are defrauding people of their expectations. It's gold you are selling right?
Guy doing a conn in the subway: No, no, no. I am selling these here golden nickles to them, not to you. So STFU!
Me: I understand <watches an innocent bystander about to give him money> Hey, it's not gold. It's paint.
Guy doing a conn in the subway: <Looks agitated> Hey common, that lady doesn't know that these are coated in normal gold to protect the nickle and...I swear...it's got white gold beneath. See? <Scratches golden paint off the nickle to provide "proof">
Me: Listen, they don't make nickles out of gold at the mint.
Guy doing a conn in the subway: Bitch, I will kill you!
Me: LOL.

Me: I am selling a golden dollar here tomorrow, so keep you money until then. <said to the innocent stooges>

Hey, what does it mean if someone's "ignore" word is backgrounded in yellow?

Serious question; I am not wise in the ways of bitcointalk software.

The darker it is the more users that have that person on ignore.  I guess it's designed as a sort of "troll meter"?
I think there's a basic problem with "ignore," particularly if used on a genuine troll, as opposed to someone who holds views that are consistently opposed to one's own.

It's kind of the opposite of an xml parser which didn't have a 'deep' option in its cloneNode:  here, you still get the troll's posts in the quoted replies.  A well written state machine could, in principle, "ignore" the responses to ignored posts as well.

And there's the problem:  sometimes, responses to trolls are more insightful than "Oh, yeah?  Well, feck you," and somebody might want to read them.  IMO, it's better just to let 'er buck.
How dark is my ignore button right now?

You can rest assured that BFL wont be shipping Monarch in November, it's unlikely they will even have a working prototype by then based on their track record and the reality of getting tape out -> wafers ->bumping ->chip packaging done by then.

What the fuck happened to you erk ? You went from fervent BFL supporter and apologist to detractor now ?

Jesus Christ. I think I just saw a pig fly by my window.

I too was a BFL supporter  Embarrassed

Hello,my name is Unacceptable,I WAS powerless against BFL.I now have "The Power" to say,FUCK YOU JOSH!!!  Cheesy
We accept you, Unacceptable. Welcome to the light.

Edit: Now if Slock turned....damn...you'd know that so much shit hit the fan that the fan fell from the ceiling from the sheer weight of it all.
