Paper wallet is safest option imo and there are good hardware wallets which you can hold your coins safely in usb flashdisks. Saving your private key can be life saver in case of losing your hardware wallet or losting your paper wallet. Desktop wallets are safer and can be protected by strong passwords but affording 100 bucks will not make you poor.

I can advice for you strategy - HODL. Just invest in some coins and then just hold it. Second option is investing in ICO
Hodl is not strategy for myself because this kind of treatment is not suitable under different market conditions. You say hodl on every part of market turning point: Bull market and Bear market. Bulls has power and will reward hodlers but forcing its power and hoping for "moon" is not smart idea. Take your profit in some points and invest again when bear market cycle happens in market.Holding forever and hoping or trying to catch maximums will waste trader's time and energy.. |

Panic selling is caused by some inistutions which dont have any interest to make money in crypto in my opinion. Hedge fund traders are working for weeks for taking big bonuses but crypto traders can do double of it in bull run times of market cycle. Panic selling cant be big threat for crypto veterans but this downtrend will end one day before third quarter of 2018 year.

Up and downs are beauty of markets and try to enjooy instead of worrying about your portfolio. Cycle will do it's job no matter how you react or feel emotional about it. There is not emotions in market and only money can dictate the trend of market. Bullrun will happen for next 2 or 3 month period but only holders will celebrate that days.

Bitcoin's Tokyo Whale (not to be confused with that Tokyo Whale) revealed on Wednesday that he has sold off about $400 million in bitcoin and bitcoin cash since late September.
Kobayashi made his disclosure in the report from the 10th creditors' meeting, which took place Wednesday.
In the report, he said he'd started selling off the bitcoin and bitcoin cash to raise money for disbursements that the trustee will soon need to begin making as bankruptcy claims are being evaluated, per Bloomberg.
I also read this news on local newspaper. This guys are whales and have power to move any financial market. Since there is no strong regulation rules in crypto market this makes everything much more easier for them: No need to report your activity,noone will ask about where money comes and goes etc.. At some point things look really weird for people like us.... |

Researching the market and knowledge about trading is enough to invest without worrying about anything. I always check the whitepaper of project and try to understand it in simple language. There is tons of investment based books,sites,advertisements but it is almost impossible to find the way which works differently for each individual.

Bitcoin isnt accepted as worldwide payment method so there is no reason to hurry up about buying daily stuff while paying in bitcoin. I always check transaction address twice and control miner's fee in order to send best possible time without any delay. I dont want to get in trouble with someone specially if there is no refund feature in cryptos that is the reason behind to check receive address few times.

As a trader i dont advice to accept decisons based on emotional feelings. Emotions is root of all devil in trading. If trader cant trade with clear mind and feel bad about losing posiitons and good about increasing posiitons sooner or later he/she will lost his balance to whales in volatile market. Managing emotions require experience and it can not be gained ever night trading. If you need advices about how to control emotions go for other activities till you are sure about challenge.

Diversifying your holdings among top 50 cryptocurrencies will give you more chance to survive under bad market condiitons like panic selling by big players. Investing whole savings account to cryptos is not smart way to retire early but you still have a chance to laugh on this posts one day in some point of world |

I think bitcoin market is hard to recovery. At present, bitcoin is heavily affected by the Korean market. If the Korean government gives a ban on bitcoin trading. bitcoin prices will fall sharply in the future.
I think all bans are temporary because no one can block investors from entering the Cryptocurrency market because they do not want to be controlled by the government and want financial freedom that no one can know. Personally, if I was banned I would continue to participate in this market as it is still considered the most potential market in the world Governments bans are useless in internet because you are only responsible person for your own freedom in net. Financial freedom is not something that can be given person should earn it no matter how governments gonna to act about cryptos or on other sector of financial markets. The market fall will not happen if governments accept power and features of blockchain technology. |

Bitcoin has potential but unlikely it will survive for next 50 years. I hope we all see 2067 year and we will be able to discuss this themes again  Bitcoin will loss dominance after mass adoption start to accept other alternative cryptocurrencies for transferring money as payment method. Bitcoin transaction fees are high and bitcoin blokcchian has potential to send less transactions per second compared to other cryptos. |

In my opinion this bloodbath will continue till the third quarter of current year and let's see what this year will bring us. Crypto booms are expected like other financial markets but this crypto noobs makes me crazy how person can blame others not himself. 2014 crash will repeat itself like other peak-booms and i expect at least 80% loss on cryptos for next crash.

Trading cryptocurrencies can be profitable for those who has experience and skills in this business. Like in real life trading decisions can bring you both pain and happy feeling. Bitcoin shouldnt be treated as main income but as a passive income i am agree with your opinion.

The market fools everyone who thinks they are great trader or have special skills in this market. People are addicted to make gambling decisions in several parts of life. Buying low and selling high what gives you profit and investing amount grows day by day. Selling low also can be treated as panic selling that caused by media.

Governmetns are big threat against to decentralization models included blockchain. Btw there are dozens of examples about how governments did everything to ban freedom related activities in all sections of system. Financial world is headed to another world with blockchain and cryptocurrencies but big guys dont want this.

There is a minimum amounts on exchanges but if you feel lucky about markets and wanna to test your luck go to buy big amounts from exchanges. This type of trading should be considered as lucky decisions and person should avoid such type of activity in all costs. 5 btc is not bad amount for starting your journey. |

Governments should accept new schoold teaching instructions regarding new innovations included cryptocurrencies. There are more ways than schoold to learn about new ecosystems like bitcoin,blockchain and other startups. So let's keep spreading out blockchain technology around community.

Never sell crypto unless you really need money. Otherwise you will regret it a year later.
Sell only a little part of it when your total portfolio will be big enough.
Good traders always have entry and exit plans before creating position on markets. But cryptocurrency market is different and very volatile,so cashing out gains with trailing stop is better idea than partially selling. . |
