2341  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 29, 2021, 09:52:06 PM
Spurs are still losing, we had a good win early on but then lost 4 now. Most games end with us losing by only a few points and we usually lead by a lot early on in the games as well. I am pretty sure that there could be some correlation between the team being so young and not too experienced versus being not so great at late games as well.

However, some of the players are getting to that age where people start to fight for MVP title at that age, jokic, giannis all ended up getting MVP at early age, Luka looks like he might get it with one great season with his team, so all in all the core is very young I agree but not "too" young anymore.
2342  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Does BTC growing faster?? on: October 29, 2021, 07:23:06 PM
Why does btc growing faster than other Cryptocurrencies?
The answer is your second question. Yeah, people choose bitcoin hence it is growing over time. People choose it because of the innovation and conveniences it has brought to us. Moreover, bitcoin is not growing faster but it grows for reason. If it grow faster without enough adapters then it may get into bubble regions and from there it may burst at any time.

What makes people chooses bitcoin?
There must be 2 prime reasons for most people who invest only with bitcoins:
1. It is growing faster hence it becomes obvious choice for the people who follow trend simply.
2. Smart investors will do their own due diligence and bitcoin got all reasons to satisfy them.
2343  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ban on Binance Futures on: October 29, 2021, 05:36:17 PM
Binance is gonna ban derivative instruments in my country by the end of December, because regulators here apparently care about my financial wellness, *read with sarcasm*.

So, knowing all the risks that such instruments can entail (especially with leveraged trading), I was wondering if using a VPN could still let me grant access to derivatives, because I don't know if, even when I'll try to log with a VPN, the system will recognize that my account is registered in a flagged country and still won't show me those futures.
I have had issues like this, but not with cryptocurrency platforms, but a different case where the government in my country decided to ban a particular platform and I had to make use of VPN to access that website, it was a really a frustrating thing to do. Only the stress of having to look for a reliable VPN alone is going to be a heavy stress on you.

But anyways, if you can do that, then you can go ahead. Or best to look for other means or platforms to continue what you’re doing without any restrictions and having to rely on VPN.
2344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SOLANA bug. Can not send my coins to any. on: October 29, 2021, 10:14:09 AM
I currently have the same issue... Im using a PHATOM Wallet and i try to transfer SOL from this wallet to my file system wallet.
It is quite bad that someone is having this same issue even till now. From what I can see, the op created this thread since February and till now someone is having the same issue. And I can also remember that there was a time that SOL had some kind of problem (I think that was last month or two) that prevented people being able to send out their SOL, it was on the news and a lot of people were really annoyed about this issue and said they might even quit at this point. For the fact that everyone is complaining about the customer support makes it really bad. I am hoping that they get to fix their platform.
2345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking Profits on: October 29, 2021, 08:48:14 AM
if you want to earn here without any valid reason, I think your direction here will become vague dude,
but if you know what you are aiming here as individual trader, perhaps, you will surely know the answer to your own question.
Everyone aims for profit and nothing else, right? So, how efficiently making use of the peaks like sudden rise or gradual rise would be the matter of question here. Every individual will prefer to get quicker profits in my opinion as they do believe in more active trading until they gain experiences on dangers of booking at small profits.

Only when you learn about the power of long term holding then you will come to the practice of aiming for gradual rise and then might go for booking profits only at trend reversal.
2346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Now the price is bullish on: October 29, 2021, 05:52:12 AM
It went from $38k to $60k USD really quick. So probably we will be seeing another correction. Maybe this time it will be around $50k.
But, getting into $60k levels is not first time hence this time there would be no room for correction from the current price levels. I mean only when prices moving too fast for the first time, we could expect for a steep correction. Recovering back to $60k levels must be an indication for getting into 70k to 90k levels at any time soon. I also believe that the trend of bitcoin market right now is too bullish regardless of the small correction we had for last 2 to 3 days up to $58.4k levels.

We are about to enter November month which is really going to be too exciting by the looks of what we have experienced by November 2017. If there will not be any new negative news then probably we will enter December month with prices trading above $100k levels.
2347  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the king on: October 28, 2021, 09:58:53 PM
Today I took my time to go round the market, there are more than 9000 cryptos in the market, but bitcoin is still the king. Now that many other cryptocurrencies are seriously pumping can they take over from bitcoin? If they take over from bitcoin can they last in that position like bitcoin?
What is your opinion.
if you're talking about the rank in the market , well in my personal opinion, obviously it's impossible because bitcoin level nowadays is too far away from the alts whereas even those top cryptos still unpredictable if they can take over bitcoin. So we cannot say that even you see some coins that making hype and always give a good return afterwards still not a sign that they will gonna skyrocketed and surpass bitcoin since most events in the space are just temporary and didn't last especially when it comes altcoins. So its too hard to tell if some of them has a potential to take the bitcoin place.
I wouldn't say it is "impossible" but it definitely doesn't look easy neither. I would say it is "improbable", that is more like it. It is obvious that people could make a big loss in crypto if they keep believing everything will go up at all times, but bitcoin is a rare one that drops less than others. At the high point, the difference between ETH and BTC became as low as 2x, which is still a lot I know but it was as close as it ever got. With a little bit of drop on bitcoin because of something and a little bit of increase on ETH for some hyped thing and we may have seen something very close.

I do believe that it will probably not happen, but I also believe that it is not impossible neither. Let's wait and see what happens in the future, btc will stay at the top most likely but I hope that one day something at least challenges, maybe take over for a short while and go down, make it look like it could be done.
2348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you get in early on certain alts? What's your source.. on: October 28, 2021, 09:42:53 PM
Hi all,   i was wondering,   what are the top sources i should be keeping an eye on, to spot future trends such as shib and cardano?

As im pretty novice, and not up to date on things,   i only learn about certain coins when they start hitting exchanges and mainstream news etc,
by which time it is usually already 'too late'.

So what 3 sources should i keep in a pinned tab, and keep my eyes on daily, to catch early coins ?
If you want to be finding all these new coins early before they pump, then you will have to be looking through ICO websites. Most of them, before they pump to this extent, they first of all launched their ICO on these ICO’S platforms. But then you have to know that it is not every coins or projects that you’re going to find on theseplatforms that are going to be successful, it's a matter of luck and also how hard working the team behind the projects are.

So, I think when you check all these ICO platforms like ICOdrop, you will be able to find all these projects and you also have to look through them and check how hard working their team are, because that’s what’s going to tell you whether the project is going to be successful or not.
2349  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Watford FC Main Sponsor - UFC Official Betting Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: October 28, 2021, 09:29:16 PM
Yeah hopefully we will get post monthly instead of 250k race.
Simply because post monthly bonus means that all players are enjoying the promo, while a race will be ~
A post monthly bonus has been released from Stake in the celebration of Watford win. Eligible players has received double bonus amount than the usual bonus amount. I have received the double amount too. Usually I was getting $25 from pre or post monthly bonus. Where I have received $50 in this time. Check your mailbox for the bonus link Wink
Yea, this was really a nice surprise... I did not think we will get a "Post Monthly" and then Stake & Watford come and give us a double bonus on top of that.  Grin  I have dumped mine in the Plinko hole for now.... because I am experimenting with some new strategies.

The Stake vs Eddie challenge looked easy with the Target Multiplier of 66.30x on "Take the Bank", but I am busting my ass to get anything bigger than 40x on that bloody Slot.  Tongue
Haha some slots are hard to get a decent multiplier lol.

I was so upset that I missed the stake game challenge because they were giving easy challenges but the last one, where players need to hit 500x on 3 different games is quite difficult and I am glad I missed the challenge lol because in no way I am lucky enough to hit 500x on 3 games within 2 days of gameplay. Reminds me of how difficult the squid game challenges were and stake have taken some inspiration from that Grin.

Good luck to all the participants and let's see if there will be more such games moving forward.
2350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 28, 2021, 06:12:06 PM
It is not the matter of dismissing Koeman and bringing new new coaches. It's not about Koeman. It's about the Barcelona team and the management. Even if you hire Pep Guardiola now they will struggle. I can't see any positive character in this team who can lead them, like Messi, Xavi and Iniesta did. Apart from few players they all are flops. Wonder how Pique still playing for Barcelona. He can't run, can't tackle. I watch the Match against Rayo Vallecano, and you don't expect Koeman to get on the pitch to score for that full team that missed lot of chances and can’t shoot on target. Dest wasting two golden chances from the last two games. They all play so how’s is it his fault . Go rest and rest Koeman and leave those flops alone. The new manager must have a lot of work to do.
Koeman stayed way too long for such a bad result so far, it was obvious that from the first moments he was not a good enough manager for a club like Barcelona. Xavi will be a lot better not just because he is a better manager, which I believe he really is, but also because he was with Barcelona for 20+ years. Dude knows the ins and outs of that club better than anyone, and he will definitely bring the great tiki-taka back to Barcelona once again.

All these playstyles since pep left always left a bad taste in Barcelona fans mouths, even while winning they were not playing like Barcelona, they were playing like a team that had stars and that's it, base your style around your star and your star will be crowded with defense. Now Xavi will use what he played in Barcelona, what he managed in al-sadd as well, it will be a great improvement under one season, and much better later on.
2351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 28, 2021, 05:35:22 PM
I'm not sure that Ferguson's opinion was decisive in this situation about giving Solskjaer one last chance, but his word could well strengthen the leadership in the opinion that Ole Gunnar still needs to work a little at Manchester United Wink In any case, only a third of the English Premier League championship has passed and the season has not even come close to its middle yet in order to draw far-reaching conclusions and dismiss a Norwegian specialist on the basis of a very painful defeat on his own field. Now we will see if Ole Gunnar will be able to take his chance in the next match with Tottenham or the club management will really have to look for a new mentor for Manchester United.
I have to say Ferguson definitely retired way too early. Of course it is not a job for someone at 70+ years old could easily do, but that is mainly because when you are 70+ years old, you are not really in great health and you have some troubles medically, that is the common thing for most people, which is why people retiring during that period is understandable. However when you are as health as Ferguson and you still retire, that begs the question what would have happened if he stayed a few more years?

I mean imagine if he was STILL managing today, not just come back, because I doubt that could ever happen, but if he was still in charge? That would have changed the situation insanely, I would have put them in the contention for sure.
2352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 28, 2021, 10:24:05 AM
If you check Westbrooks career, he had many 10+ turnover games, it is not the first and certainly not the last. During his triple double seasons, he had many games with triple double + 10 turnovers as well, it wasn't uncommon, him and harden had a big stretch of having insane turnover rates together. All in all it is based on his play style, dude plays so fast that there are some times when he just loses the ball because of the pace.

If you are driving a car with 20 km/h and you see a deer going on a road, you can stop very easily, when you are going with 200 km/h then you will not see the deer until you hit it, let alone be unable to stop, you literally won't see it at that pace. So, I would say that it is clear to me that westbrooks pace is the cause of his turnovers. However you can't just ask him to slow down neither, then he won't be who he is anymore. Lakers may have started badly, but I am 100% sure that they will get better overtime for sure, they are way too good to not get better.
2353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the government expect from bitcoin legality? on: October 28, 2021, 07:09:01 AM
if the government wants to improve people's standard of living, then they will have to do that by providing jobs for the people and not through cryptocurrency.
But, it is expected bitcoin may help people to fight against inflation which is more important along with providing job. I am seeing many people who are suffering after retirement. I worked hard when they were able to, and we cannot expect everyone to be working till the age of 70 or 80 hence governments must work on providing people power to fight against inflation which is highly possible through adapting bitcoins legally.

For anyone to really gain anything from cryptocurrency they will have to invest money, and not everybody has the money to invest in cryptocurrency.
This must be a concern for most government like they want their people not getting suffered by investing and losing by any means. I believe governments must have started studying bitcoin and then they will come to know about the true potential of bitcoin then they may not have problems to make bitcoin legal.
2354  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you miss Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2021, 08:48:14 PM
I am not the type of person that keeps lots of friends around me, I’m an introvert and most of the times I prefer to be alone and I spend my time working or maybe I spend it with my family or I can look for something else doing or sometimes I just think about my future and what I should do and also do some research. Nobody told me about Bitcoin, I was the one that discovered it myself while I was doing a research and that was in 2015.

When I discovered Bitcoin, I didn’t invest in it immediately ‘cause at first I was afraid because of it was volatile, but then I was using it to receive money for works that I did then and also claiming some free bitcoins from faucets that time. Well I did miss at first because I sold earlier, so I kind of missed out from the 2017 bull run, but I was able to cover up again and I’m happy about that.
2355  Economy / Economics / Re: Time to foot the bill on: October 27, 2021, 08:09:12 PM
Depending on the country and the flexibility, this means that civil servants and public sector may become underpaid and those who actually have skills may leave to the private sector. As a result, I forecast that public services are going to deteriorate.
I have always feared this issue of workers being underpaid at this time. Ever since all this inflation started, things have been getting costly and people are not able to afford most things in the market these days because they’re not being paid enough this time around to be able to sustain them to the extent of getting whatever they will need at anytime.

People are being underpaid these days because if you compare with how much things are being sold these days in the market it’s really a big issue. I’m just hoping that they get to fix everything. I will prefer that things that are being sold in the market will decrease to the price that it used to be before, the government should do their best to put an end to the problem of inflation that we’re having now.
2356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 27, 2021, 06:48:50 PM
West Indies, Bangladesh and Scotland should stop dreaming to reach the semifinal.
Yeah these 3 teams had lost all their 2 matches so far which might mean the end of their dream about qualifying to semi-final.

In group-1, England, Sri Lanka, Australia and South Africa are still having chances to make a semi-final birth and it seems highly competitive group.

In group-2, Pakistan, New Zealand and India are having chances to qualify unless otherwise Afghanistan and Namibia upset any of those 3 teams.

I guess it would be too hard to pick only 2 teams from either group as of now. T20 matches are highly unpredictable like Sri Lanka arrives the world cup like lower side but right now performing like the favorites. England and Pakistan already 80% confirmed their semi-final spot and Sri Lanka and Australia in group-1 and India and New Zealand group-2 need to fight hard to get semi final slot.
2357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NO KYC Sportbooks? on: October 27, 2021, 04:16:56 AM
KYC is another way of restricting you and making sure you are afraid of cheating the sportsbook knowing they can report you to the local authorities.
This must be a valid reasoning, never got chances to think this way. I am also always looking for no KYC casinos but not because of afraid about the reason you have mentioned here but to ensure without having any problem in my gambling activities. I am not sure about enforcing KYC is how much helpful for gambling houses but from a gamblers' perspective it is really frustrating.

What are some sportbooks that will NEVER ask for KYC
To ensure no KYC always then you need to check for the registration details of a casino as only where a casino got registered must influence their stand on KYC requirements. If their government never bother on collecting details then I guess a casino may remain no KYC until government change their stand.
2358  Economy / Economics / Re: When you sell is no longer "yours" on: October 26, 2021, 08:53:12 PM
When you sell, is no longer yours. When you sell your bitcoin for more than you paid, you may be happy about it, but unless you have an investment to make or would like to buy something else, all you have left is... fiat. And fiat finds its way out of pockets very quickly.
Before I sell my assets, I always have plans of what I’m going to be doing with the money that I am getting from it.
I have other businesses that I am doing, so any money that I’m getting from selling my cryptocurrencies are either going into that business or maybe an important expenses that I have to make: but I hardly sell my crypto currencies when is just an expenses that I want to make with the money, because I can easily just use my Fiat to settle whatever expenses that I’m having and not touching my cryptocurrencies.

Anyone who is selling their cryptocurrency should know for a fact that they are no longer in possession of it, once you sell it, it is gone for good.
2359  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurs, money and investing - your culture on: October 26, 2021, 01:09:35 PM
In the country I was born in, speaking of money is even considered bad taste among those who consider themselves entrepreneurs or owners of companies or property. When making business plans, there is much speaking about mission, objectives and there is an underlying belief that only there is certain social class that is legitimised to do business. Also, inverting in stocks is considered a merely speculative activity, that is the closest thing to gambling and only for the greedy.
As for my country, I would say that a lot of people here wants to make money, but they are afraid to take the risk that are involved. A lot of people are always afraid of stepping out of their comfort zone, because they are afraid of what would happen, they're afraid that they're going to lose, which might be the case sometimes.

But, for you to move forward you always have to take risk, and when I mean risk, I mean taking the right risk and not doing the wrong things just because of money. It’s good to have money, but when you are doing the wrong things because of money, that’s when it gets bad. Here in my country nobody sees investments as a bad thing, It is just that they are afraid of it.
2360  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginning of massive breakout? on: October 25, 2021, 01:05:25 PM
Litecoin Cash is pumping hard for 2 weeks, do you think that's the breakout point?
It's really irrational, cause Litecoin is falling atm. Opportunity?
I think if you still compare the both of them on a long term basis, Litecoin is going to be better than this Litecoin cash. Just because this one is having a short term increase in price doesn’t mean that it is now better than the main Litecoin. Let’s hope that this is not just a short term breakout. If I’m choosing any coin I prefer to choose coins that are going to benefit me on a long term and not just fora short term. Because if you should invest in a coin that is going to only last for the short term, you are not really going to benefit from it especially when you invest in it at the time when it is late.
