1441  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 27, 2022, 05:33:23 PM
Terrible lag for the last 2-3 days and I have stopped playing Stake originals until they fix server issues. Despite the Telegram notification of the official channel, it is still lagging like one Plinko ball per second, making it impossible to spam plinko balls. Hopefully, the lag issues will be fixed until Eddie's stream or weekly bonus since traffic will increase during bonus/stream hours..
Did notice quite a bit of lag while trying to play some blackjack on originals the past few days.
It could be attributed to the number of people online surpassing 20k at one time.
Have placed 4000 in the 5th birthday race so should get a little piece of the prize pool for this one.
But still over a week left til it closes for the places of under 5000 to be awarded something.

Took me $120,700 to get within the limit of places so to get something out of this month long race.
It is insane to think that we peaked over 20k+ already with Stake and it is not a number that is unheard of neither, it is not like uncommon, it is just something that is not all the time but it is not uncommon neither.

Stake of course needs to grow up a lot, they need like constantly get bigger and bigger services and not only that but they need some amazing staff numbers as well, they must be making enough money to justify that to be fair, having like 100 more people could cost very little based on where they are located, you don't need to hire them from USA or UK or something, find a cheaper place and get 100 people and put 1 person from directly stake on top of them wherever it is and you can deal with even 100k people.
1442  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: August 27, 2022, 01:23:58 PM
If you have that entrepreneurial spirit and are built for it, then by all means this would be best for you.   However, office jobs will for most as we are basically trained or at least the thought is ingrained in us to work for someone else, i.e. be employees, from beginning to end of primary schooling.  Again, some of us breakthrough but most end up office workers, which in and of itself is not necessarily a bad thing.
It is not a matter of spirit, if you aspire to be an entrepreneur but lack the resources to launch, there is a problem. You need liquid funds as a fresh start-up to get things in order, otherwise, you won't be around for very long.
Entrepreneurs also struggle with how to get cash, especially in underdeveloped nations where venture capitalists sometimes prefer to invest in projects where they can gain greater ownership rather than supporting ambitious individuals. I still prefer to create my own business when I have enough money to do it in the future than work for people.
The thing is, there is money in the world, you may not have it, but the money is out there and we all know it. So, if you really want to be an entrepreneur and you actually do believe that you could build it, then you should try to get some money. How? I mean it is not easy as we all know because if it was so easy then everyone would be rich.

So, how you do is you end up saving money from the office job, and then you learn the skills needed to build whatever you want to start and do it for others, if it is a website you want to do, then be a web developer and earn from that too. In the end it will be hard but you could end up doing it one day, and when you have enough money, you would profit from it.

Hard to believe we have a water crisis when 75% of the world is made of water. But there are droughts everywhere. How they are going to make things better when fresh water is very limited?
I didn't feel it. Maybe it wasn't critical as food shortage because as you said the world is made up of mostly water and the ones that has a water problem are away from the bodies of water but no worries because they receiving a help from different countries. Often times we will see celebrities going on those dry places and they are building up a water system.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case, as we all know Africa is a huge continent all surrounded with water, and even places near the water is having trouble for 2 main reasons. One of them is the fact that water is not clean, meaning it could make you sick if you drink it and that means there would be a lot of people dying because they drank water that was bad for your health.

Second reason is that even though there are water sources near them, they can't really walk that much and come back every day, meaning there needs to be infrastructure, I mean not everywhere in EU has water too, but they have pipes bringing water to them, so Africa needs that too. This is just a common thing people don't know about.
1444  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 26, 2022, 09:58:23 AM
I also thought that it was just a rumor. If Chelsea actually signed Maguire it would be a joke. They have lost Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, but signing Maguire to replace them was a desperate move because we know how Maguire is performing at Man United. He was signed with a fairly high value, but instead made a good contribution, he often makes blunders that cause his team to lose.

Ronaldo has a strong desire to leave Man United immediately, but unfortunately, no one wants to sign him, and the news about Marseille being interested in Ronaldo is still just a rumor.
No way, there is no way a team like Chelsea would end up getting Maguire, that would be the stupidest move I have ever heard. I mean I can see Maguire going to a lower level team, like if Everton got him then it would make sense because even though everyone mocks him, he is good enough to be there, dude was captain of United.

But at the end of the day, if United couldn't really find a place for him to play because he is bad, Chelsea should be much better team to even care about him to begin with. It would make no sense to give him such a chance at Chelsea as well at least one more year, makes no sense at all for me and I do not really get it.
1445  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bullish VS Bearish on: August 25, 2022, 09:26:59 PM
bitcoin has nothing to prove nor to answer in this case , because the history will keep answering what you wanna hear here.

how many times does this same speculation says even since 2017? but now we are in 2022 yet bitcoin only fell to the lowest of 4k and never to felt like seeing that 1k for the next 10 years or more.

bitcoin has proven itself many times in the past and now it doesn't need to prove anything anymore, time will tell
i am expecting a new dumping and bitcoin can drop 15k by then and i will celebrate and buy as much as can, but it seems impossible let alone a totally vague $1000 goal. the experts the op mentioned definitely don't know anything about bitcoin and the market
Bitcoin proving itself is weak for many people. If you do not have "diamond hands" like some people call it and hold it for a long time, then there are people out there who really thinks that they could end up losing everything when bitcoin is going down and they end up selling it all.

I am not saying that it will happen that way but I have to say it does kind of look like they may end up doing something that is not really that great in the end if they keep selling it. Just hold it even during the worst times and even buy more, that way you will be making a big profit when the big bull run happens. This works for things like bitcoin and ethereum though, not idiotic small "gems" that goes to zero quickly.
1446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 25, 2022, 03:56:50 PM
Perhaps the selectors' intention to keep Kohli because he is an experienced batsman, especially having record in the big tournaments. In fact, those who are considered to be a strong opponent against India, Kohli have good performance records against all those rivals. He holds numerous records in all three forms of cricket. Especially in the T20 format, he has occupied the first place of “ Most player of the series award” , the 2nd position in the world “Most fifteen in careers”, “Highest career batting average” and has various records with his name.
Records and averages never help any player for keep place in teams as right now competition is tough in Indian squad with too many batsmen performing amazingly in last few tours and things are never been easy for anyone to lost concentration but selectors still giving another chance to Kohli which is not bad at all but for me, it's going to be tough for Kohli because now if he fails to perform good then surely he is going to be in red zone and most chances he could be out of T-20 World Cup which could be more problem for him and his team.

Here in Asia cup I am not feeling they can face any problem in their early three matches as they are going to play against Pakistan, Singapore and then in semifinal against any team from other group which is also easy for them surely they are going through until final without any trouble.
1447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading then switching currencies on: August 25, 2022, 10:43:06 AM
Well this is not entirely true, if a trader or investor in the market decides to leave everything in Bitcoin, he is not making a bad decision, on the contrary, he is making a very intelligent decision and that can really mark everything to go well, if there is a number of accumulated sats and it is expected that the price for now is $20k-$22k and nothing else is taken into account but to change when the price reaches $100k we would be talking about a great profit that for no reason in any bank is capable of supporting or offering, under this assumption that it can occur at any time, it is likely that it will come before any need and leave everything there until it occurs.
This is literally me just a few months ago. I did just that, put all my money in bitcoin and that wasn't really a bad idea, I did alright. Maybe there were times bitcoin didn't go up as much as ETH did for example, or maybe we shouldn't really be worried about anything like that, it's literally not the important part of the deal and bitcoin could be just the only one or not, and we would be fine one way or another.

It's not the bitcoin only part that is awesome, it is trusting the good things. Like for example if you trust bitcoin and ethereum, that's fine too. I personally believe that as long as your money is on things that are trustworthy, it's fine.
1448  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin bear market over? on: August 25, 2022, 08:12:22 AM
Nope , had voted together with the majority because we have just over the last ATH and Bull market in 2021 in which if we are going to understand the sentiment of market for another years? it should be at least 2025 that will be the bull may return that only means one thing , Bearish market will keep coming and making a low price time after another.
That just doesn't sound right AT ALL, I mean how could you believe that we will be in a bear market for 3 more years? When was the last time we ever had 3 years of bear market ever? I mean even the worst 2018 market saw the 2019 market doubling (quadruple in the middle) and then break ATH in 2020... how could you believe that in under 2 years was the longest time we had ATH over ATH, and you think now that 3 years will be pure bear market?

That doesn't sound right and I wager any amount you want that we will break ATH again before 2025 happens, that is just way too impossible for me to believe, we will not be having bear market for longest period ever for no reason at all.
1449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have a doubt about Bitcoin on: August 24, 2022, 12:25:19 PM
There seem to be too much development taking place on bitcoin. Changes always being proposed. How are we ever going to be able to trust that bitcoin will never change if people are always trying to propose changes to it and get it implemented
what kinds of challenges are you referring to here, because i see nothing changing about bitcoin we all have known, it's never centralized, and if what you're talking about is on the Bitcoin Improvement Proposals (BIPs) then you might be getting it all wrong, because if you build a house, you will always want to decorate and beautify it from time to time, such as painting, cleaning and protecting it against Intruders with maximum security. etc. same is applicable here, if am right about what you meant.
The idea of bitcoin's blockchain being decentralized is not even about money, it's about exactly what you say; having a consensus by all the users. What people do not understand is that US government could print 1 trillion dollars and buy bitcoin with it, making it super high, and then sell it ALL at the same time on 100 different exchanges and crash it to near zero. They can "manipulate" the price, that doesn't make it centralized, that's just market speculation and that's fine.

Decentralization is literally the consensus where we all decide what to do and we never have to worry about what's going to happen to the integrity of the blockchain itself and trust it forever.
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO IS NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME on: August 24, 2022, 06:39:02 AM
That's the thinking of ordinary people who aim to want instant wealth, even though users who actually have experience will not necessarily become rich suddenly, because they hide the joys and sorrows of playing crypto, at least following a process that can make you rich, because you consistently know crypto  will see the experience is not mere lust..
Unfortunately that is a majority of altcoin investors. They think that they could get rich by investing into small cap stuff which they named "gem" themselves and then it will go 10x and make them rich. That's not how it works and that is not what they are going to make their money with.

It's fine though, I do not think that it would be easy for anyone to make money like that, we shouldn't be really focusing on what they could do, just let it be something small and we would be doing fine without looking at them. I have been around them all this time and yet invested into large coins like bitcoin at the top and made money from it and that is fine for me.
1451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Singapore is the second country to follow in El Salvador's footsteps, do you agr on: August 23, 2022, 05:45:21 AM
Regardless if it is the second country or not, one thing is for sure is that Singapore will continue to be one of the best country that technology are being utilized and very welcome by the government. Yes, they are tiny, but the people leading this country is a visionary and knows that technology will be the future. So bitcoin and crypto will continue to grow and they will be one of the countries that will lead bitcoin mass adoption and application.
I never truly understood what happened to Singapore though, I mean how did they become like... this? I mean back in the day they weren't always like this and they became something that is amazingly well improved which is awesome for them. Nowadays when you think about developed nations, you do think about Singapore as well.

I am not saying that it is something nobody else can achieve, but for a smaller population nation, they regulated the rules good enough to attract many many business' and companies. All in all they are definitely looking into crypto from the same perspective to attract all the big corporations in the crypto world as well.
1452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: August 22, 2022, 08:34:15 PM
How are you so sure that Qatar can beat Ecuador easily especially Senegal, from FIFA rankings Senegal is ranked 18th and Qatar is ranked 49th. This difference shows a very significant difference, that statistically the players are of different quality.
I must admit that Qatar's football development has progressed quite significantly, they played well in the Asian tournament as well as in the Arab Cup competition, and Qatar is the champion of the AFC ASIAN CUP 2019, Qatar can overthrow Japan with a landslide score of 1-3.

Nevertheless, Qatar's chances of qualifying from the preliminary group stage are not easy. I'm not sure they can overthrow Senegal let alone the Netherlands.
we agree, there is no guarantee, anything can happen as long as the game runs 2×45 minutes. However, Ecuador is also not a weak team as we think, Ecuador can play Brazil with a draw, against Argentina with a draw. Ecuador remains to be reckoned with.
The main idea comes from the fact that Qatar wasn't ranked 49th and they were MUCH lower back in the day, I do not remember where but I wouldn't be shocked if I learn that one point they were 100+ ranked. So that means because they got much better, maybe twice as good as they used to be, or even better, that made people from Qatar or others have some sort of trust in them.

Doesn't mean that we would have to see something like that in the long run, doesn't mean they will beat Ecuador or Senegal, they will most probably lose, I would be willing to wager against them easily, but people who like them end up seeing that improvement and started to have some belief they are better than how they are normally.
1453  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 22, 2022, 04:32:11 PM
Here I can not distinguish which one can really outperform in terms of business or as an entrepreneur. Whether male or female, for me the position will be beaten evenly. But in my country, women tend to be more domestic workers, taking care of the house, and children and serving their husbands (that's all) but not a few of them are actually successful with careers and businesses depending on the individual itself. As we know, men are the backbone of the family. At least from the point of view of where I live. So please understand if it doesn't suit the point of view of where you live. Women are gentle creatures, and prone to emotions, so that in business and entrepreneurship often involve feelings. It should be underlined that it is all based on the subject that I have noticed in the environment, not in general terms.

I remember a saying: behind a successful man, there is a woman who always supports him. As a result, I think men are still more effective and efficient in mastering the entrepreneurial world.
I would guess that women could be like that because of the history. I mean think that we are in a world where historically workers have been men in history, not "all" times and in all nations but that is the general deal. Only after the suffrage movements that some women in western nations gained some rights, and even today there are many nations like Saudi Arabia where women do not have equal rights to men.

So, do not tell me that women are not usually entrepreneurs and they usually prefer to stay at home, that is historical and not because of anything that people would rather do, it is because they are forced to do by the culture they have grown up with. Nowadays it is getting better, but it will take a while to be equals.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Shiba on: August 22, 2022, 09:01:52 AM
Some people invest in cryptocurrency by depending on blind faith. Many people just hold but there is no return. That is why proper analysis is required. We all know about Shiba Inu token that already increased massively. How much it can increase in future. Here I can't imagine that the price killing two zero from four like $0.001335 which is inconsistent according to its marketcap.
It would be near impossible because of the market situation, it is already high and what people are hoping for is shiba becoming bigger than most big name coins, like ethereum and some even do not calculate and make adjustments in a way "what if price is x???" and not realize it would be bigger than bitcoin in that case.

So, when making calculations and analysis you should realize that top 10 is good enough for shiba and not going to go too high, it will go up with the market when all goes up, but that is about it, it is not going to be bigger than bitcoin or ethereum or bnb, that is not going to happen ever and people shouldn't be expecting such a thing to happen at all.
1455  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here from Germany? What exactly are your electricity costs? on: August 21, 2022, 04:06:48 PM
The difference between Spain and Germany is because Germany use more gaz than Electricity (IICRC), and since some decades, in Europe, the electricity's network is "connected". We can trade/block/limit between countries. Added to the fact that Spain, as well as Portugual are at the end of this network so the price isn't the same depending on the country.
Roughly half of Germans use gas to heat their homes, so yes, you're correct - https://www.dw.com/en/germany-stockpiling-wood-in-fear-of-gas-shortage/a-62601419

It amazes me that Germany is resorting to stockpiling wood for the upcoming winter because they would rather freeze to death than utilize Russian energy. They're firing up coal and nuclear power plants in response in addition to stockpiling wood. I hope they're prepared.
Isn't that the type of stance that we need in order to stop this madness we are in? I mean it is easier to see that we shouldn't help Russia one way or another and that means we shouldn't be getting gas or anything like that from them.

Wood, or gas from somewhere else, or set your lighter on fire if you want, burn your clothes, I don't care how terrible it gets for Germans or even me, I just want Russia to realize that if they keep attacking Ukraine, and do not give the lands back, they are going to be shut off from West and that would mean a lot of profit lost to them in the near future and it will only go worse from there which means they will be financially getting terrible in the long run.
1456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge: The most anticipated upgrade on Ethereum blockchain on: August 21, 2022, 03:01:09 PM
and will lower transaction fee.
The latest information reaching me is that the merge will not have any reduction in fee, which is disheartening to me. But the other advantages are still welcome developments.

You might want to read this: https://ethereum.org/en/upgrades/merge/
Good that they have this article which is more likely a FAQs.
This will help some people who are having hopium about the good effects of The Merge to the network of Ethereum.
The Merge seems the first step before the Ethereum network will totally become cheap in transaction fees or fast transaction speeds, and based on the article which clearly says it's like transitioning from proof-of-work to the proof-of-stake mechanism.
Honestly my hopium count increases as soon as I read that, and sometimes I go back and read it again. It’s clear that they have a defined roadmap in the works and they know what they are doing. People are mad that it took this long but having something as huge as ethereum and still doing this kind of big move is not easy, it takes time and they keep on testing everything a million times before they move on. It’s a wonder they are even capable of trying to do something like this.

It’s not easy and it definitely will make everyone a bit more scary to participate right away, but overtime we are going to see ETH become so huge that even BTC could be shaky at the top.
1457  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|$10 000 Daily Battles|🚀Swap BFG on Binance Wallet on: August 20, 2022, 03:18:39 PM
I came here just to check the news about the presence of BFG in Binance Wallet.
It seems, their listing in Binance exchange itself is fast approaching.
By the way, in terms of activity of betfury rep, I think they are posting their updates regularly.
There's nothing wrong if they are not posting everyday. Just important updates is more than enough.
Do you mean Binance exchange wallet or just bsc wallet? This might be a sign of a token listing because Binance usually do this kind of trial on there wallet in preparation for the token listing. If you don’t mind, Can you share here the blockchain address for that wallet so that we can verify if this really belong on Binance exchange wallet or just from the BSC wallet. Because there’s a chance that this is just a wrong sent to a Binance Exchange BSC wallet.
Just because it is listed BFG on the binance wallet (basically whitelisted) doesn't mean that it will get listed on Binance itself. The volume right now is about quarter million dollars, which means that Binance would earn about 50 bucks a day from it, isn't it? I mean that is not something that Binance would be interested in, I can tell you that much.

Even if they made like 1% trading volume, that would be 2500 and that is not even good enough to convince them. This is why it is best to not keep our hopes high for the time being, it would not be a smart decision and it would be something a bit more boring in this case because the result would be bad anyway.
1458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Crypto friendly country? on: August 20, 2022, 02:44:09 AM
What are best crypto friendly countries to live in? Meaning no taxes on crypto income, adequate banks, crypto as legal tender.
Are we seriously not considering El Salvador at the very top? I mean they are the first nation to make it legal tender ever, how much more crypto friendlier can you get? I love all nations that are not first world nations which uses it as a way to get out of poverty, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Turkey, Senegal, Nigeria, Latin-American ones, and even smaller European nations.

These are not rich nations at all, maybe there are rich "people" in them, but the general public is not rich, and they go into crypto like a flock and they keep grinding very hard. Give me a thousand people who are active and working as a staff and I guarantee you that I can create the greatest crypto company that the world has ever seen, only because they are way more interested in it for sure.
1459  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling? on: August 19, 2022, 05:30:51 PM
It is very important to be able to manage emotions so as not to panic when the price of bitcoin is down, especially lately the crypto market is still sluggish due to the weakening world stock index and the increase in interest rates by the FED. Moreover, the current decline in bitcoin prices is due to widespread stock selling in the US market last week, causing the crypto market to go crazy and panic selling to occur.
I do believe that we are going to end up with something that is a bit more sensitive going forward. If we end up with panic or scare or even too much happy excitement, we could end up losing money and that's not something you may want. I would suggest that the best thing to do right now is be like a robot, do not have any feelings, hold it as long as possible.

If you end up having emotions during a volatile period when it is not known if we are going to skyrocket parabolic or not, then you are going to end up regretting it for the rest of your life. I say just forget about it, remove all thoughts of bitcoin from your brain after you buy it, and only come back if you see it going crazy on tv.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 18, 2022, 08:47:16 PM
It's too early to judge the team's performance when the new season begins, Juventus has just started the first game of the season. The real proof is when Juventus face a big team, there are so many big games to be faced throughout this season, Juventus will also compete with other European clubs in the Champions League.

The arrival of several new players can provide a fresh wind for Allegri, he has more choices when determining the players who will fill the main squad. But that doesn't mean Juventus can triumph again in Serie A, Juventus need time to build their dominance in Serie A after collapsing in the last two years. Serie A is more competitive than ever, the transformation of other teams can pose a threat to Juventus in the fight for the Champion Title.
I agree that it is too early, but to me Juventus already looks like they are semi-decent even without some players playing. When they are all 100% healthy, they are going to be a trouble to the league. This is why they were shown as one of the favorites when it comes to where they will finish.

I can't really say what they will be doing, maybe they will finish at the top, maybe they won't be that doesn't mean that we won't get a good result from them if all goes well. This is football and sometimes things do not go well and that is understandable, I can understand why there are situations where it is not going well because of booking or injuries and such.
