1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Shiba on: August 22, 2022, 09:01:52 AM
Some people invest in cryptocurrency by depending on blind faith. Many people just hold but there is no return. That is why proper analysis is required. We all know about Shiba Inu token that already increased massively. How much it can increase in future. Here I can't imagine that the price killing two zero from four like $0.001335 which is inconsistent according to its marketcap.
It would be near impossible because of the market situation, it is already high and what people are hoping for is shiba becoming bigger than most big name coins, like ethereum and some even do not calculate and make adjustments in a way "what if price is x???" and not realize it would be bigger than bitcoin in that case.

So, when making calculations and analysis you should realize that top 10 is good enough for shiba and not going to go too high, it will go up with the market when all goes up, but that is about it, it is not going to be bigger than bitcoin or ethereum or bnb, that is not going to happen ever and people shouldn't be expecting such a thing to happen at all.
1482  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone here from Germany? What exactly are your electricity costs? on: August 21, 2022, 04:06:48 PM
The difference between Spain and Germany is because Germany use more gaz than Electricity (IICRC), and since some decades, in Europe, the electricity's network is "connected". We can trade/block/limit between countries. Added to the fact that Spain, as well as Portugual are at the end of this network so the price isn't the same depending on the country.
Roughly half of Germans use gas to heat their homes, so yes, you're correct - https://www.dw.com/en/germany-stockpiling-wood-in-fear-of-gas-shortage/a-62601419

It amazes me that Germany is resorting to stockpiling wood for the upcoming winter because they would rather freeze to death than utilize Russian energy. They're firing up coal and nuclear power plants in response in addition to stockpiling wood. I hope they're prepared.
Isn't that the type of stance that we need in order to stop this madness we are in? I mean it is easier to see that we shouldn't help Russia one way or another and that means we shouldn't be getting gas or anything like that from them.

Wood, or gas from somewhere else, or set your lighter on fire if you want, burn your clothes, I don't care how terrible it gets for Germans or even me, I just want Russia to realize that if they keep attacking Ukraine, and do not give the lands back, they are going to be shut off from West and that would mean a lot of profit lost to them in the near future and it will only go worse from there which means they will be financially getting terrible in the long run.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge: The most anticipated upgrade on Ethereum blockchain on: August 21, 2022, 03:01:09 PM
and will lower transaction fee.
The latest information reaching me is that the merge will not have any reduction in fee, which is disheartening to me. But the other advantages are still welcome developments.

You might want to read this: https://ethereum.org/en/upgrades/merge/
Good that they have this article which is more likely a FAQs.
This will help some people who are having hopium about the good effects of The Merge to the network of Ethereum.
The Merge seems the first step before the Ethereum network will totally become cheap in transaction fees or fast transaction speeds, and based on the article which clearly says it's like transitioning from proof-of-work to the proof-of-stake mechanism.
Honestly my hopium count increases as soon as I read that, and sometimes I go back and read it again. It’s clear that they have a defined roadmap in the works and they know what they are doing. People are mad that it took this long but having something as huge as ethereum and still doing this kind of big move is not easy, it takes time and they keep on testing everything a million times before they move on. It’s a wonder they are even capable of trying to do something like this.

It’s not easy and it definitely will make everyone a bit more scary to participate right away, but overtime we are going to see ETH become so huge that even BTC could be shaky at the top.
1484  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|$10 000 Daily Battles|🚀Swap BFG on Binance Wallet on: August 20, 2022, 03:18:39 PM
I came here just to check the news about the presence of BFG in Binance Wallet.
It seems, their listing in Binance exchange itself is fast approaching.
By the way, in terms of activity of betfury rep, I think they are posting their updates regularly.
There's nothing wrong if they are not posting everyday. Just important updates is more than enough.
Do you mean Binance exchange wallet or just bsc wallet? This might be a sign of a token listing because Binance usually do this kind of trial on there wallet in preparation for the token listing. If you don’t mind, Can you share here the blockchain address for that wallet so that we can verify if this really belong on Binance exchange wallet or just from the BSC wallet. Because there’s a chance that this is just a wrong sent to a Binance Exchange BSC wallet.
Just because it is listed BFG on the binance wallet (basically whitelisted) doesn't mean that it will get listed on Binance itself. The volume right now is about quarter million dollars, which means that Binance would earn about 50 bucks a day from it, isn't it? I mean that is not something that Binance would be interested in, I can tell you that much.

Even if they made like 1% trading volume, that would be 2500 and that is not even good enough to convince them. This is why it is best to not keep our hopes high for the time being, it would not be a smart decision and it would be something a bit more boring in this case because the result would be bad anyway.
1485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Crypto friendly country? on: August 20, 2022, 02:44:09 AM
What are best crypto friendly countries to live in? Meaning no taxes on crypto income, adequate banks, crypto as legal tender.
Are we seriously not considering El Salvador at the very top? I mean they are the first nation to make it legal tender ever, how much more crypto friendlier can you get? I love all nations that are not first world nations which uses it as a way to get out of poverty, Pakistan, India, Malaysia, Turkey, Senegal, Nigeria, Latin-American ones, and even smaller European nations.

These are not rich nations at all, maybe there are rich "people" in them, but the general public is not rich, and they go into crypto like a flock and they keep grinding very hard. Give me a thousand people who are active and working as a staff and I guarantee you that I can create the greatest crypto company that the world has ever seen, only because they are way more interested in it for sure.
1486  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin price is falling? on: August 19, 2022, 05:30:51 PM
It is very important to be able to manage emotions so as not to panic when the price of bitcoin is down, especially lately the crypto market is still sluggish due to the weakening world stock index and the increase in interest rates by the FED. Moreover, the current decline in bitcoin prices is due to widespread stock selling in the US market last week, causing the crypto market to go crazy and panic selling to occur.
I do believe that we are going to end up with something that is a bit more sensitive going forward. If we end up with panic or scare or even too much happy excitement, we could end up losing money and that's not something you may want. I would suggest that the best thing to do right now is be like a robot, do not have any feelings, hold it as long as possible.

If you end up having emotions during a volatile period when it is not known if we are going to skyrocket parabolic or not, then you are going to end up regretting it for the rest of your life. I say just forget about it, remove all thoughts of bitcoin from your brain after you buy it, and only come back if you see it going crazy on tv.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 18, 2022, 08:47:16 PM
It's too early to judge the team's performance when the new season begins, Juventus has just started the first game of the season. The real proof is when Juventus face a big team, there are so many big games to be faced throughout this season, Juventus will also compete with other European clubs in the Champions League.

The arrival of several new players can provide a fresh wind for Allegri, he has more choices when determining the players who will fill the main squad. But that doesn't mean Juventus can triumph again in Serie A, Juventus need time to build their dominance in Serie A after collapsing in the last two years. Serie A is more competitive than ever, the transformation of other teams can pose a threat to Juventus in the fight for the Champion Title.
I agree that it is too early, but to me Juventus already looks like they are semi-decent even without some players playing. When they are all 100% healthy, they are going to be a trouble to the league. This is why they were shown as one of the favorites when it comes to where they will finish.

I can't really say what they will be doing, maybe they will finish at the top, maybe they won't be that doesn't mean that we won't get a good result from them if all goes well. This is football and sometimes things do not go well and that is understandable, I can understand why there are situations where it is not going well because of booking or injuries and such.
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you thing about Terra team? on: August 18, 2022, 04:52:59 PM
Whatever he says doesn't matter anymore.

He better pay with the lawsuits coming after him. From Celsius, Voyager, and now this.
His defense and statements can't change the fact that Terra has ruined the lives of lots of investors. He is not the only one who is having this kind of trouble because Terra's investors also suffered from what happened to the said coin. Some of them lost hope and assets. He should really pay for what he did because it really had a huge impact on the lives of Terra's investors. Yes, crypto investment has risks but mismanagement should also something to be paid for.
I mean just because everyone else lost, doesn't mean that he didn't lose neither. I am 100% certain that he would have preferred if the project kept going because it would have helped him as well. I would have kept that project alive until I die if I was the creator, and I am sure he felt the same way as well.

I am not trying to say he is a victim just like the investors because he made some profit from this, but that doesn't change the fact that it is not going to be a big deal at all, it is going to be still an upset for him no matter what. He was just a person who failed, and failed big, that is a scare for anyone, and he lived it in multi million dollar ways unfortunately.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 17, 2022, 08:26:55 PM
Leverkusen, who were expected to become competitors in the top flight, actually appeared the opposite, yes they had to lose from the first two matches. They have to get up soon in the next match, otherwise it will be more difficult for them to catch up with the points. They are one of 2 clubs yet to earn points with Bochum.
Hoffenheim will be their next opponent and this too they can not underestimate.
Who expected Leverkusen to be fighting for any top positions? I would guess that Bayern, Dortmund and Leipzig should cover the top three easily, and Frankfurt could do something as well after a great year last season. I think Leverkusen had a good season as well last year but that was last year and they do not look as good anyway.

I didn't expected them to lose both games of course, but I didn't expected them to be a dominating power neither, so this is closer to what I imagined than to the top. It is a money game now, and Leverkusen doesn't have it, so it is really hard for them to build a roster that could rivalry anyone in the long run, which is their trouble.
1490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think metaverse have a place in the world on: August 17, 2022, 07:04:31 PM
When the issue of NFT is getting more and more massive, many people say that the NFT era will end to be replaced by Metaverse, but until now there has been no large Metaverse project that can have an impact on the market, it may take longer to see Metaverse can affect the market.
I think with the past bull run, many metaverse projects became trending but they didn't last when the bear stomped all of them. I'm optimistic in the future and Metaverse is relevant on that growth but I'm sure that not all of the metaverse projects are going to be needed when that time comes.
That is obvious, there was a good bear run that stopped the improvement. But that doesn't mean that it's gone, there are still a ton of projects that are working towards making it big, and there are many that offer something that is unrealistic as well.

All you have to do is make sure that you are getting more and more features in right now during the bear market and any project that looks highly developed when the bull run comes, could make it big, they could start on early days of the bull run and go well into high levels thanks to that during all of bull run. Some will try to start building during early bull period and finish during later stages which won't be big at all.
1491  Economy / Economics / Re: Why aren't people utilising cryptocurrency payment methods? on: August 17, 2022, 03:03:43 AM
Many investors value there Bitcoin over the fiat currency just like when Tesla started receiving payment in Bitcoin, many investors never opt to it because the believe the current price then might increase in the next few years making their Bitcoin portfolio worth more. Since the market is never stable and there is tendency that the market will always appreciate with time, then there is no need to giving it out for exchange.

I think there many Crypto sites that received payment in Bitcoin although they are mostly recognized in some regions that does not have any law or policy against the use of Bitcoin. We hope with time, the Bitcoin adoption will become more bigger than what it is now and many will commence using it of payment of services.
I agree with this. People see it as an investment deal, meaning if you have bitcoin then it is better to hold it, and not spend it. But, I would like to also remind that if you use fiat to buy something instead of bitcoin, you could also use bitcoin to buy that thing and then use the fiat to buy bitcoin as well. So, the end result would be the same, but you would have used bitcoin to purchase something, which is a great feeling.

You may say why would I do that because you are doing the same thing basically, but I think the feeling of it is more than enough of a reason. That's my personal opinion of course, if you do not agree with that then you could just use fiat for sure.
1492  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: August 16, 2022, 08:28:10 AM
Can anybody tell me how Stake.com is making money on their US site? So, from what I understand, the players are not paying to play..but it works on a sweepstakes principle.  Huh

"Sweepstakes, also called giveaways, are a type of prize promotion in which promotion hosts give prizes at random to entrants who take a free-of-charge action. By definition, giveaway means the promotion host cannot require a purchase to enter. They also can't choose the winner based on merit." - Source ==> https://trustspot.io/blog/sweepstakes-meaning/

Who is paying for the gifts... if nobody is paying to play? ....and Why would Stake want to run a site that does not generate a profit?
Promotional based situation? Like they are using it to do promotions and they are not actually after directly making money from it? For example, Walmart wasn't a big grocery store chain when it first started, and the idea was to make no profit or even a bit of a loss on stuff like bread or milk like what people buy every day, and then get them on the door to constantly buy those daily stuff, to make them buy other stuff as well which you will make profit from in bulk.

Now, they make profit on everything. So stake US version would be just to get people in the door, and then stake.com be there to make sure that everyone could lose money to them on house edge, as a promotional way basically.
1493  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The implications of cryptocurrency on the global economy on: August 16, 2022, 06:21:21 AM
To some extent the governments will try to limit the usage, fearing the control. Beyond certain point, only option is to regulate the usage. At such instance governments will find ways to regulate the usage and start making revenue out of the taxation. This is what happening with my country, now we're having the highest taxation of 30% on the profit.

Apart from this governments were also developing their own CBDC which is a digitized form of keeping track of every transaction of the common people. Through this privacy gets disturbed, but government find it good for administrative needs.
I do not think that they are trying to limit usage by getting high taxes, they just like getting taxes and that's it. What we should realize is that corruption happens in ALL governments, some people think it is only their own nation but it is in EVERY government, some do it big, some do it small but they all do it. That means taxes are very important. Because, the more taxes are paid, the more they could get rich while still managing to keep some sort of infrastructure of the nation as well.

So, if there is 10 billion paid and 2 billion pocketed while 8 billion is used for the nation, if you do 12 billion then you get 10 billion all spent, and 2 billion still pocketed. That's why crypto is probably loved by many nations.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to take profits? on: August 15, 2022, 05:42:20 PM
You should take profits and then reinvest with the initial capital, because in the future the coin may not strengthen, so the potential loss is not too large, but if you like long-term investments, you might start the investment again, but it is better to convert it with another coin more potential, so you have a chance if one does not strengthen.
Everyone I know, they invest more than one coin?
I do agree with this. I have done something similar like this before and the idea was that I would invest, take out my initial capital and reinvest that to something else. Which means that eventually I would have my money back, and investment into plenty of projects. It worked until a point, I had 11 coins/tokens that I invested into without a single payment out of pocket, I would double my investment and take out my initial capital, that way I would leave with my initial investment amount in there without any money because I took my money out.

I eventually reached to a point where it was bear market and I lost it on the last one, and everything else dropped too, so all my investments totals became my initial capital, but I believe in the future when bull comes, it will be awesome again.
1495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a crypto that won't depend on BTC anymore on: August 15, 2022, 03:20:31 PM
since I have signed crypto so far, there has been no altcoin that doesn't follow btc, everyone follows where btc goes, one thing that is impossible if there is an altcoin that doesn't depend on btc
Sometime altcoins can decouple bitcoin once it has a hype news that can make whales to pump it. If we are seeing from the daily candle and there will no be altcoin that can do that without any news. If you can try to find an altcoin that will have good upcoming news and this may give you a decent profit. So far people are always looking for altcoin that can't be affected by bitcoin.
That is a temporary solution though, not a permanent one. I mean there is no project in the world that could be independent from the market itself, the whole market moves together and one project acting of its own is not something we will see that much. What we are doing however is the fact that crypto being a bit more like a tribe instead of each project being own its own.

Hence, we are not going to see projects being that great all by itself, and the ones that do go up or down just itself would be doing that for a short period of time, for a few days at most, and then it will be moving with the market all over again and not change it too much at all.

AMA could be really fun, maybe in a few weeks.
Glad you are considering my suggestion, however I hope that getting merit isn't actually the main reason why you are creating it. You do it because you like answering questions of other gambling people genuinely including those blackjack.fun members who looks up to you and respected you, and have some free time to do so.

You know just a few caveats to consider  Cheesy
Honestly it could be both at the same time and I wouldn't care. As long as we get a good participation and get questions answered, the motive could be merits and all I care that I get a good straight answer and I am fine. Dude deserves some merits for answer questions, the more you answer the more you would get, it is only natural and I do not mind it.

There are so many questions to ask him, one person gets one question doesn't even seem fine because I would love to ask like 10, but I am sure some of them will be overlapped by others who would ask the same stuff. It’s really a good idea, and I am 100% supporting it and if I catch it live, I will surely ask and merit the response for sure.
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 14, 2022, 08:04:02 PM
Milan and Inter started the season by winning victories. Milan had a really satisfying performance in offense but I can't say that for their defending. Because they conceded 2 goals in this game against Udinese. However this is still a very good start for them of course. They were at least better than Inter I mean. Because Inter had a really serious difficulty in winning against Lecce. The winning goal came in the last moments. Lecce are a new team around here and they were nearly stealing a point from one of the biggest teams of the league.
There is a good chance they could be winners again. People who had an early outright bet got lucky because there were too many places that showed Milan as not that great, but I believe that they are the latest champions and they could be good. Let's be honest, Serie A never became as good as the period before the whole rigging scandal happened. During early 2000's they were on a whole another level and they played in finals of many European competitions.

But at the same time, we are talking about a league that still has a decent amount of money, and Milan is getting that money as the winners, and they developed a good team and feels like they could still win, even if odds do not show that right away.
1498  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Russia Emerge As The Next Dominant Superpower on: August 14, 2022, 09:24:03 AM
The cynicism of your reasoning here just rolls over. Are you saying that the war in Ukraine would have ended long ago if the United States had not provided military and other assistance to Ukraine? Yes, Ukraine in this case, perhaps, would have been captured by Russia and destroyed as a state, and Ukrainians as a nation. At the same time, the leadership of Ukraine would have been shot or tortured along with a significant part of the civilian population, as the Russians did in the suburbs of Kyiv, when they believed that the war would soon end in victory for them. After the liberation of this territory, more than one and a half thousand civilian corpses, including women and children, were found in the Kyiv region alone, with signs of torture and violent death. Are you talking about such a desired result on this forum?
The people who are in full support of Russia and Putin will always come out and say "Ukraine war wouldn't happen if USA and EU didn't cause it" because in their mind it means "Ukraine would have been in under Russian control" and nothing more. They are basically saying that Ukraine should have been left powerless to start a war or defend one.

We all know that the first action was taken by Russia, Ukraine did nothing but just responded them and that’s it, there is nothing that Ukraine started, if Russia leaves all Ukrainian lands tomorrow, Ukraine won't attack them. Hence, it shows that Russia only wants west to get out in order to take whole of Ukraine and nothing more.
1499  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|$10 000 Daily Battles|🚀BFG Mining Extension voting on: August 13, 2022, 05:58:30 PM
Getting a lot of customers to use the casino will be the most complicated and difficult part every day because of the high competition that this online casino market is facing every day, every day new casinos are appearing and in my opinion this market is becoming saturated, and another thing is that BFG is not listed on many exchanges which means that it is not yet known what the real price will be, when an altcoin is listed on many exchanges we can see its real price
We've seen many casinos got fail because sell both together, something must be sacrificed between them. but, as I know, several casinos do it together with success, like giving free the token for purposes try the casino, but of course, they will make dump a price but besides that, the casino will be crowded. If can't do that, choose one.
I would say that as a casino you should have some fiat currency or stablecoins at least in your hands anyway. If you don't, then there needs to be a situation where you need to fix that asap. I personally believe that the best thing to do here would be making sure that we do not end up with a bad result, it is not the greatest thing ever to have no stablecoins, but if casino has it then that's a great way to distribute.

What can be done is free bets, do that with good amount of money to a lot of people and they are going to come in here and gamble, if they do that then we are going to end up with a big profit as well. That's the key to success for a casino, pay them with real money, not a token you just created.

What's up with the user name discussion on this thread lately, as far as I know we are in the crypto space and at that privacy is of utmost importance for most users here and that is why we have our user name instead of our full name, but in some instances, if one has nothing to hide. It is not a big deal to fill in your full name in an online forum but that is where it is requested. Blackjack fun is a gambling platform that requires only a user name.
That’s mainly because it wasn't known who he was and there were a few people claiming that it’s this person or that person and that became the discussion. It’s not important who is who, but when there is someone that come out and say that "I am satoshi" you would ask for a proof right? That’s the logic, I do not care whosatoshi is, and I will not work towards trying to figure out who he is neither.

But, if someone come out and say that they are satoshi, then I will ask if they are serious or not. That is the type of thing that I care about a lot, and that is how I will approach what I am doing as well, it would be a lot better solution for sure.
