1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP potential? on: September 13, 2022, 06:14:53 PM
xrp should be able to solve a very crucial problem that has happened to them, because every external problem that seems very neglected will obviously make many people think again if they really want to invest their funds in xrp. no one will be able to escape from the problem, especially in the future legal issues that occur in xrp will make xrp will continue to be haunted by problems.
so there is some truth in saying that maybe xrp is the last coin that might be proposed as an investment, because no one wants to speculate with this fact.
if all external problems can be passed and resolved, it is not impossible that xrp will be a very interesting target.
I do not think that external problems will be the key for them to recover. The internal one, the blockchain related ones will be the key for them to recover and get better. I personally believe that they shouldn't be invested or even considered at all, not for any external reasons or any type of legal problems they have faced, but because they are centralized and that means they could literally manipulate the market to their liking and that's not fine.

I remember very very clearly when they printed a lot more money just so they could get rich, if one place can do that then we are not going to end up with trusting such a place, why would we? It is better to use bitcoin instead of xrp, a lot more trustworthy.
1402  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This makes sense or not? on: September 13, 2022, 03:08:49 PM
Hi Fam, I am new to crypto investment and crypto mining, I have a plan in mind with this upcoming merge, just tell me if it's bad or not, I plan to sell all my bags after the merge because I believe there will be a massive sell off, and I will buy back at a lower price, is this making sense or not.
I think you are not alone, many people are doing things like you do, some think like that, for sure the crypto market today has a lot of predictions popping up, if you think it's best just do it, all of us have a goal as a crypto investment.

You need to consider now in my opinion crypto investment, greater self-confidence than analysis and predictions out there.
I agree, everyone have all kinds of predictions and some will say that OP would be doing a great job by selling after the merge (not even know when exactly) and some will say that it is going to be a bad idea. I am one of the people who would say that it is a bad idea but at the end of the day we are talking about something that is going to end up with a bit of a problem in the long run if we just trust others with our ideas and predictions.

If you ask others your predictions then you are going to end up with a bad result since there will never be one correct answer. Do what you think is the best for your money and hope that it will get a good return in the long run so you could profit from it smartly.
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 13, 2022, 12:58:23 AM
I do not think Chelsea will budge, they usually do not give players above thirty anything more than a year or two contract extension, and i don't think Kante's case will be different, but then there is a new management in charge like you said and we would see how they handle this situation, Kante has served the club very well since his move from Leicester, and a three-year extension might be no more than what he deserves. Having said that, i am pretty sure various other clubs will be monitoring this situation right now, and if there is a breakdown in negotiations, some of them will not fail to offer Kante a contract he might not be able to say no to.
Agree with what you said, he is one of the players who has an important role at Chelsea at the moment although indeed this season his role is still not visible but indeed he can be one of the players to be reckoned with when the team recovers.
Regardless of his age, he is actually quite reasonable when his contract duration is three years if this can be realized.
I do not get why people consider him "aging" though, Benzema was 35 years old when he scored all those goals last year and managed to win the UCL title and La Liga title with Real Madrid. Kane is 31 years old and a 3 year contract would mean that he would be 34 by the time it ends, or 35, those are still doable numbers and not aging if you ask me, not in this football world at least.

I get that some people remember the old days when players retired at 35 or even ealrier but people like Kante take care of their body nowadays and can play even as old as 40 years old, so I do not think that 34-35 would be that bad. Plus, he isn't some role player, dude is their best player and they should do whatever it takes to keep them in check.
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 12, 2022, 06:59:50 PM
Both Carmelo and Westbrook will be in the same path because they failed to maintain their strengths after their prime years is over and actually, that is the biggest challenge for being an player, well except for being an injury prone, because if you can't maintain your style and strengths then surely you will be in free agent in no time just like what happen to Carmelo now.

And soon, Westbrook too because this is the last year of his contract in Lakers and I don't think that the Lakers will give him an extension too because of fact that the team is currently busy to get him traded.
The thing is, if you are a player who realizes that they are losing their grip and starts working on what else you can do, you could still be finding a place in the NBA. Lile Blake Griffin was the type of guy that went bad because he lost his amazing jumping ability but at the end of the day he worked really really hard to be able to shoot at least a decent amount where you couldn't leave him open, which made him better and kept his career going, or that guy would have been gone from NBA by like 30 years old. At the end of the day NBA is a place where ja morant or similar young guns will keep on coming, you have to keep finding a way to stay relatable in skill level, or you will be gone.
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 12, 2022, 06:22:04 PM
marseille are an extraordinary team, since the start of this season they have shown that they can also be favorites to win ligue 1 this season, next month's meeting with PSG could be the decider who will be at the top (whether marseille or PSG), I'm really looking forward to that match

in the next few days, marseille will face frankfurt (in UCL match), this is a good chance to win, they have to prove their strength and also their cohesiveness
I think they are an exaggerated team that people like to watch because they are fighting against a giant club. This is why so many people celebrated the win Lille had a few seasons ago as well, they won the title and teams all from the league and even foreigners felt joy because they were bored from watching PSG winning the title back to back so many times, doesn't matter who it was, they just wanted to see PSG lose.

The same thing is happening right now, they love to watch PSG getting some competition and I believe that we shouldn't really be seeing that at all, we are going to see PSG end up with a big title win without a doubt, people might be shocked about it but thats going to happen again.
1406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 45k before this year ends. on: September 12, 2022, 04:24:29 PM
The price of Bitcoin can not be predicted with hundred percent assurance but it can be assumed because people who predict it normally gives us a wrong prediction of bitcoin.
Normally, there is no RIGHT prediction though, so every prediction is wrong, not certain and just mere guess base on the past and present price analysis and sentiments.

So since i have being taking some of the predictions serious and later the price of Bitcoin will change from the predicting point to another point. So believing on the prediction of some body that the price of Bitcoin will reach 48k before the ending is unbelievable to me
Again, no predictions were RIGHT. So, yeah you gotta believe on your own prediction and market analysis rather than the others.
There were a lot of so called financial experts who's sharing their sentiments and predictions, some have believed them, but no they are always wrong eventually.
After all of the shared bearish and bullish predictions on the internet, they are all after profits and they are sharing these thoughts for their all personal gains.
Those experts have no idea what they are talking about, the yare just making up some stuff along the way and hope that they would become right. The reality is that we should not trust anyone, not experts, not KOL's, not influencers, do not trust anyone but yourself because you are the only person who has your own best interest at heart. Some of these people are even getting paid to promote things and we know this, how could I trust a person who got paid to promote something?

It is clear that they do not believe in the project at all and just want to make money. Some are acting as bitcoin experts to get more famous and they just care about their own fame and reputation too, which is a big problem as well.
1407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 11, 2022, 09:02:06 PM
Nunez also has enough time to think about his performance so far now. His performance is very important for the team after Mane's departure. While Salah is also not doing good these days Nunez should be able to do something extra for the team. He needs to improve his scoring capability by the upcoming games. If Liverpool are still struggling at defense then they must be better at attacking at least. Otherwise poor results will continue to come for them. I don't even know when they started to weaken in defense this much.
Nunez and Diaz are the two very important players that they got recently, and both of them has to play at a much better level so that they could end up with a bit of help to the team. Maybe many of the other players have been here for far longer, Salah, Robertson, Trent, Vin Dijk, and plenty of others are used to playing together but Nunez and Diaz needs to find a way to get involved very quickly in order to keep this going. Otherwise they are going to cause the team to come to a halt until they are playing better and used to the system Klopp wants them to play.
1408  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Price To Buy Ethereum on: September 11, 2022, 06:18:01 PM
Ethereum was dumped down to 950$ in latest Bear market and now it's trading 2x from that price. My question is , what is best price to buy ? Buy now or wait to down 600$?
No one knows when is the right time to buy a certain coin because usually experienced investors in their market will always make purchases whenever there is a decline, so if at this time you are not sure to buy ethereum for $1.5k but you can wait until the price of ethereum will return to $600 but to return to that price in my opinion it will be impossible for now because in the middle of this month the ETH merger will soon be formalized so most likely the price of the coin will continue to increase.
Unfortunately, people are not aware that literally nobody in the world knows what the exact bottom is, and that is why they can't know when to buy neither. I personally buy eth and btc as much as I can whenever I have money, for the past few months I have been financially in trouble, but as soon as I get out (it looks like December is the last of my debts) I will keep on buying more.

Not just when it is low, I buy when it is high too, I do not care about the price because I believe that I will make a good profit one way or another eventually. If you approach it like that, then you are going to be making a good profit in the long term and that is the thing that matters the most.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: September 10, 2022, 09:20:19 PM
Barcelona are going to play a really tough Champions League game against Bayern Munich in Germany by only a two-day break. Therefore I started to think about whether Xavi would rotate the squad for the Cadiz game today. I don't expect a big rotation of course but maybe he might do so a little. Or he can try to finish the game early and sub off the most important players earlier. Cadiz are the worst now so it shouldn't be a big problem for Barcelona to finish the game early unless they get lucky.
Barcelona has a reserve player option that is no less attractive if only to make Cadiz lose. Moreover, to prepare against Bayern Munich, players must be players who are in optimal condition. This is very much needed because playing with Bayern Munich is enough to determine how far Barcelona can go against a club that is considered dangerous and always makes it's opponent a goal party.
This is the very early season, players need to build match shape and if they sit down and relax for even one game, they will be too tired to come back and play again. They need to keep playing more and more in order to win, otherwise they are going to be not seeing the end of the game and basically be bad players by the end, even a reserve player with 100% readiness could look better by 80th minute if he is subbed in at 70th minute, he would be fresh at least. That is why I believe all the players that will play against Bayern, should be playing against Cadiz as well, if this was march or April, I would agree about a rest for sure, at least for older players, but not right now.
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 10, 2022, 08:46:59 PM
I like to see that happening soon, adding a team will make the competition more exciting, just imagine how many players can play and for sure fans would love that. However, since NBA is business, it's very important that the owner can continue to manage the team for a long period of time, rules can easily be change,  the risk of investing is very crucial.
I am not entirely sure how the system will work though. It is not stopping the season, everyone else continues with their regular season, meaning teams who have games against the ones who play in the tournament will have to reschedule and otherwise all other games will stay the same and this will make it a bit harder to arrange again and again depending on the results.

I would highly suggest that the best thing to do right now would be to put this on either at the start or somewhere on the break. Like for example have a week longer all-star break, that way you will have a tournament before the all-star break, have a champion, then have all-star break, then go back to regular season.
1411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys think is the best crypto signals group on Telegram? on: September 10, 2022, 04:03:20 PM
I've no idea about private groups. But, There is nothing special in the trading signals group which are so-called premium /VIP, their only aim is to collect money from people.

However, I googled to know what is the opinion of people about this.
I agree that private ones that either charge, or at least go private just to make it look like they are really good, will end up being as terrible as the public ones. If they knew how to trade so well, I can guarantee you that they would not charge you on how to trade. They would just trade and make money, why would they need your money?

It is similar to trading bots as well, if a trading bot works so well, why would someone sell it? Just put in 1000 dollars into it, and let it turn that into millions of dollars overtime. The logic never stands with these, because you can't make a profit all the time with them, the risk of losing money will always be there.
1412  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Who makes such predictions? on: September 09, 2022, 09:22:58 PM
To be fair there were exaggerated forecasts that proved to be right in the end. I used to have a number of altcoins which have exaggerated price predictions that eventually happened. I had XRP back when it was ridiculous to predict $1 for it. Time came when an XRP rose to as high as $3. I had DOGE during those days when $0.1 can only be interpreted as wishful thinking. But it rose to $0.7. Shiba Inu had also a similar story. And some more.

But just be warned that this is a handful compared to the thousand other exaggerated predictions that didn't come true. And these predictions are merely based on hype. They're mostly unfounded. So I don't think it is worth the risk to bet on them with the hope that one would fly to the moon.
That's true. I also never expected Doge to reach a value of a few cents. I had thousands of them back in 2014, and they weren't even worth $5. If I'd still had them, I'd have a couple of thousand dollars now.
It is funny, isn't it? Who would have thought in 2014 that Doge would last this long and would even reach almost a dollar? It was a mere meme coin which was meant to be just a joke. It was the ancestor of the likes of boobcoin, beibercoin, trumpcoin, etc. But well this is the crypto market. It would have been better if you've forgotten your Doge until it hit $0.70.

But still I think I wouldn't recommend investing on shitcoins with exaggerated predictions.
It is still a meme coin and even the creator himself said that he created the whole thing in 2 hours as a joke, even he didn't expected it to go this long. I understand the early days because it was used for fun stuff, not really for investment, like lets sponsor a nascar driver etc etc type of stuff and that was a good joking period with like Jamaican bobsled team and so forth.

However, this late one with Elon Musk never made sense to me, it is still a joke but there are people who think it is a very good investment, that is a bit of a trouble. Using it and spending money for fun is one thing, but expecting it to go up and make you rich is a big danger to many people.
1413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which meme coin is your favourite on: September 09, 2022, 02:31:56 PM
Between Baby Doge and Shiba inu which one do you feel is right for long term hold? Is there any fan of Baby Doge here? Do you think Baby doge can bring better gains than Shiba already did in near future.
Both of them can provide profit in the future. I have the same thing in my wallet in exchange. But if you ask me which of the two will make more money in the future, I think the Babydoge, because it costs less than the Shiba Inu.

Then there is a new social media platform that has come out now which is also a type of meme coin which is Mamashiba (MMSHIB) and I think it is also potential that can also provide good income in the future and it is in pancakeswap listed.
Costs less? Have you even checked their marketcap before you make this kind of decision? I mean it is obvious that it costs less and it has a lower marketcap but that is the point, you need to know how much of the total supply you are getting, not the amount of tokens you have.

You could have a trillion of a token and if it has x1million more than that as a total supply then it means nothing, and you are still holding very little and the price can't go up. Do not tell me you are one of those people who believes that "if it goes to 1 dollar then I am rich" because that is mathematically impossible for both of them, not even 1 cent is possible for them.
1414  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Longterm Price Target on: September 09, 2022, 06:21:25 AM
Since the beginning of bitcoin it is basically in a very volatile uptrend. It is not likely that it stays like this forever (50+ years). What are your thoughts on what could be a price target for bitcoin longterm?
I see since Bitcoin was created in 2009 and every four years, Bitcoin has developed and changed from so to so, meaning Bitcoin has a value that cannot be predicted accurately, even though it is in the long term.

I have a long term understanding for Bitcoin, say 5-20 years in the future, the change I believe in the next 20 years Bitcoin can reach $100k, that's based on my thoughts, overall that number occurs every time the halving occurs.
100k in 20 years? That is too slow if you ask me, I believe that we will be 100k in 3 years or sooner. I mean we reached 20k in 2017 and in 2021 we reached 68k, that means we did more than 3x in 4 years, that means we could have the same thing now and reach to a super high price.

Let's assume that doesn't happen, we could still manage to go from here to 100k when the bull run happens, only a 5x increase required to break over 100k and when a huge bull happens like 2017 or 2021, that means we are going to end up with way more than 5x but at least bare minimum we will have that. This is why I do not have any doubt that we should be 100k way before 5 years let alone 20.
1415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mine a Bitcoin or buy a bitcoin? on: September 08, 2022, 08:18:05 PM
Mining also requires large capital, we have to prepare supporting equipment for mining, the laptops we have are not necessarily able to accommodate and if examined further, mining also requires sophisticated tools.
People can do any way to get bitcoin, but it must be ensured that we are in the right conditions. We can also invest Bitcoin quantitatively every day or only need to invest once to get long term returns. it's just a matter of strategy suitable for people to implement
Not even any of that would scare me, the fact that equipments are things that can die today if there is something wrong and you can't fix them is the main reason.

I mean think about it, we are talking about something that is hardware, and hardware fall all the time, you could take care of them if you are a smart person or an engineer or just in general understand these things, but people like me would need someone else's help to set them up, and again someone else's help to keep them running without a problem and also someone to repair them if they get a problem. This all eats away from your profit hence I do not think that it is a good idea.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can this be the reason some people are afraid to invest in Bitcon? on: September 08, 2022, 07:08:36 PM
maybe this is very influential, and I think this is one of the actions that must be considered to instill trust and confidence in people, especially for new investors, doubts from an early age have very side effects according to what I have noticed.
Simply put, when new investors have doubts about something like this, why should it be done because if this is me then I will really study it until I am sure that I have just made an investment. I'm in bitcoin because I really believe in it so when we really have doubts but are still running, it's a pretty stupid thing to do in my opinion.
I agree, it is not our job to make sure that they trust the system or whatever, do whatever you want and if others do not understand the benefit of buying bitcoin then let them not understand it. I personally love it and I will continue to love it and nothing will change that, as long as that's true then we are doing fine and nobody can bother us.

This is of course not easy when you consider the fact that bitcoin is long term and people do not understand how they need to hold it for years. I get that some people do, but many people want to get rich right away. That's mainly because they are afraid of bitcoin and do not want to hold it long term and do not trust it for years.
1417  Economy / Economics / Re: EU countries agree deal to cut use of gas this winter on: September 08, 2022, 06:22:33 PM
It's so strange, Europe bought 2 world wars for themselves and rest of the world, yet after 70  years. Once saviour in world war Russia and rest of the world is again seem to be standing up in arms against each other.. ah!  humanity never learn...Had not not really knocked Russian doors, there would not had be any reason of fight between Russia and Ukraine. Now we have set in a chain reaction and we need to stop it somewhere
The problem is not "knocking on the doors of Russia", that is the problem. Propaganda by the Russians is that "they came all the way into our borders, we had no choice left!!" and the reality is that Ukraine is an independent nation that has the right to make decisions independently.

If Ukraine as a nation wants to join EU, they have the right to do that, saying that "they came to our borders!!!" means that Ukraine does not have the right to join EU just because Russia doesn't want them to, is that independence? Of course not. This is why there was absolutely no legit reason for Russia to attack, and they are just pure bad people for doing it, not Russians of course, all the Russians I met are lovely people, it is only Putin that is evil.
1418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 07, 2022, 05:35:00 AM
Both Chelsea and Liverpool continue to struggle to stabilize their squads. I don't see any chance of them winning the title this season. Although Arsenal has consistently performed well in several matches, their performance against United has been quite poor. Manchester City and Manchester United are trying to strengthen themselves. Tottenham also looks worthy contenders for next season's title.
Manchester City, Tottenham, Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal all has chances of winning the English Premier league, the only big club that doesn't have such a chance is Chelsea. Chelsea will continue to struggle until Kante is fit. Kante is the only valid midfielder that Chelsea has and without him the team is not complete.
To show that Chelsea is not prepared for the English Premier league, just see their lost against Zigrabe in their first champions league outing this season.
I really do not believe that’s true. City has a chance that’s true, Arsenal "may" have a chance if they keep going like this, Liverpool is amazing and that’s understandable for sure. However, United and Spurs have absolutely no chance in my mind, they will not win it, and even Arsenal just had a good start but they do not look like they are going to end up winning anything at all.

This is why I believe that we should be expecting only 2 teams to win once again, to be fair even just one team. City is the team that will win it once again, maybe they did not start like that and just a top team, but they will go on to dominate the league once again.
1419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak on: September 06, 2022, 07:26:31 PM
I think Macau's gambling operation is now 100% fully operational.

The news about the Covid lockdown can't be seen anymore in most countries.

Covid-19 is now treated as regular flu now. Don't get me wrong here. I just want to treat it that way.
People also don't panic about Covid-19 or there are new variants anymore, because it's been treated as a common cold.
Most people have received the full course of the vaccine. Offline gambling in Macau will operate in full but regarding the use of masks, of course, it still applies.
This is a new era after the covid storm has subsided and can be handled with vaccines and full control.
Yes that is because there are now vaccines available for covid19 and I think the reason why face masks are still required is because of that new variant and experts haven't invented a vaccine for it so it can be deadly once a person gets it.

Even before the pandemic, some casinos on macaus still continues to operate but now that the situation is returning to normal again, almost 80 percent of casinos are now going to open up for sure. Can't say full or 100 percent for now, till the new variants of the viruses are cleared out. I think those who decided to close, do already opened up their own online versions before. They will continue to operate there for a while.

Normally the summer holidays is the calmest period for a lot of sites just because a lot of people are going on a holiday or are travelling. I have only 2 golden tickets (won both with the WOF) and you only need to have 1 to win it lol. Congrats with the 83 tickets and hopefully someone from this forum can win the lambo!
That's the point, summer holidays could be good or bad for casinos. It means bad things because there are less people who are involved and some of them left for vacations, but it means good because it means there are a lot of people who stayed and the ones that stayed gambled more.

I am not sure how much the wagering amount changed, but I am sure that we are talking about people who ended up with a bit of a problem of gambling if they are all in front of PC. So, it's both good and bad, less people but more wagering by those people. This could be the main reason why some have as much as 83, because they were here during holiday when everyone else was on vacation.
I doubt that, I am sure that during the summer even people who do not go to vacation, end up going outside to some place near them. Maybe just a few beers, maybe a movie, maybe a play, maybe just walking but at the end of the day during the summer is the time people go out the most and nothing else.

I know for a fact that I did, I haven't been home too much this summer and even though some of them were not reasons I really liked (hospital visits to grandma) some of them were fun (eating in a cafe with my wife) so at the end of the day even though you do not go to vacation at all times, you still at least go for something that will make a bit of time away from pc type of deal.
