1361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 01, 2022, 06:36:50 PM
It is no longer as easy as we thought. For Union Berlin to have 2 goals against them in the first half is a clear sign that today is not for them. Frankfurt has tactically outsmarted them. Also Frankfurt is good in defending, so they cannot conceive more than 2 goals in the second half.
Now Berlin has to have their first taste of defeat.
It was obvious that Frankfurt was the better team, people get fixated on the recent results and they end up with a bit of a problem on their minds at all times, I do not know why they are so stuck with the mindset of this situation because let’s be real we are talking about something that is not going to work out for the people who bet on union berlin just because of recent results.

You look at the general situation, let’s look at Bayern, they had a bad recent few games, do you end up betting against them because of that? Of course not, then why would you want to wager against Frankfurt? Or why bet for Union Berlin? Same mindset for sure.
1362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term investment projects ? on: October 01, 2022, 03:32:10 PM
Your investing goals determine the solution Investing in bitcoin could be a good alternative if you have one to two decades to spare Long term cryptocurrency investment requires a high risk tolerance Bitcoin's value fluctuates wildly They may collapse too Investor interest is expanding quickly with more than 21000 cryptocurrency coins and tokens Picking the correct balance to maximise long term profits is difficult under the best of conditions in a cryptocurrency bear market or crypto winter it's daunting find out which cryptocurrencies are the greatest long term investments this year These are the top five long term cryptocurrencies like BTC , ETH, ADA, DOT, LINK.
I would add BNB to it and remove Link, but that’s about the list I would offer to people as well. I still cannot see any problems with investing purely into bitcoin alone and nothing else, because that wouldn't be a bad decision for the long term neither, it will make people richer.

Obviously if you want to get rich super quickly then you would have to end up investing into something that is a bit more profitable, but at the end of the day there isn't anything that could be done quickly to get rich most of the time and it would be a big risk. Just bitcoin alone has no risk in my eye, if you ask me, it is as close to being guaranteed profit as it gets.
1363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be Palestine's currency of freedom?? on: September 30, 2022, 06:49:18 PM
I don't think we need to compare it to El Salvador and other countries that have embrace bitcoin and crypto as a whole. It really depends on how the country is going to used it, and if they it can be their currency of freedom then so be it. And it will really take years before some nation will adopt it as legal tender or alternative to their local currencies, and so it will be a big challenge and there are going to be obstacles along the way for Palestine, not be easy and so only in the future that we will know if they adapt this idea of bitcoin being 'currency of freedom' or not.
I agree, El Salvador is a nation that is having some financial difficulties but they do not have 50%+ of the population being kids because all the bigger ones are dead. I am not going to go into details of Israel and Palestine war, that’s something politicians do and not something we can discuss here and solve, that’s impossible.

But, it is easy to at least say that people in Palestine do not live an easy life, and while they are missing water or food to survive, it would be childish to assume that they could use a mobile phone in order to deal with bitcoin, it wouldn't be possible at all. So, it’s easier to assume they can't really use it for freedom.
1364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A single trading tool is not enough on: September 29, 2022, 01:05:10 PM
if you are trading alts other than btc, it is advisable to check the social media channels of these projects. as they will give you insights on where they are heading to. those indicators won't matter if the team is already on the verge of breaking up or should i say about to abandon the boat.
This is a wise advise for crypto traders that only rely on what they see to trade like using only technical analysis or graphs and never concern themselves with news or what is happening around the project. Like what happened with Luna coin could show us how some coins can just a surprise coming but as an insider, you can have the knowledge before it finally take serious effect on the coin. Reading about the coin that you are trading is very important like it is said here , some collaborators may be at the verge of disintegrating which will definitely affect the coin at the short or long time. Therefore joining the telegram groups is important for a serious trader .
Following up news is not an easy thing to do, which is why it's understandable for not every person to see what's going on. I personally believe that the best thing people could do regarding trade methods is that they should be checking both fundamentals but also the news, because that way you would know every aspect of it at all times and that's a good thing.

But if we are talking about just picking one, then I would assume that the best thing to do would be fundamentals, because it rarely upsets you and in the long run you will be profiting with it. Doesn't mean news are unimportant, it just a comparison of the two and one side is a bit more important while the other one is still important.
1365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance trading activity is 13x larger than any other exchange on: September 28, 2022, 07:14:34 PM
I think the main contributor to Binance had a huge lead in the trading volume over all other exchanges thanks to their main adamant about fake trading volume and washout trade. Binance has expressed many times they'll do anything to curb stomp things like that.
The amazing increasing trade volume on Binance is from their wise strategy to give away trading fee. With 0% trading fee, users have more reasons to trade and when they fall into the trap, trading volume increases organically and sustainably.

This increase recent months is also supported by recover of Bitcoin and crypto market in general. With less fear, people go trading more.
Let's not forget that people do have a tendency to go with the first one and do whatever they can with it. If you were asked to do a trade, would you do it on the exchange that is 1st and more than double the second, or would you prefer the second that has less than half of the trading volume?

This is just a question about first and second, when we consider third and fourth and all others, it's clear that being first means being the best most of the time and the main place people go to. Of course they weren't first at the start, and in order to get there they used both cheap trading fee, but also affiliate income as well, which gave them a huge boost at early days.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to investigate and research new projects ? on: September 28, 2022, 09:12:00 AM
I often discover new projects for investors by studying crypto trends in social media groups. And after that, I will study the project information by visiting their website and studying the information in it carefully, especially the whitepaper. And this way always works for me.
and never settle for looking for the best information about the project we want to join until we are really sure to get involved, and also find out Who is the person behind this project?
Do they have a real team?
Do they solve real problems?
Do they make business sense in practical terms?
It’s true that you do not have to "discover" things yourself, you could find it from other people and that would help you out a lot. The reality is that if you will make a profit or not doesn't depend on discovering new things, you can find them anywhere you want. The real key is that you would make a profit based on how well you research the thing you discover.

Because at the end of the day, if you research in depth, then you will find a problem with it if there is one, if there is a problem and you couldn't see it, that means you didn't research it well enough. If you cannot find anything and there is none, then most likely it will go up.
1367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 27, 2022, 10:08:03 PM
I feel like it's not going to be that easy for Verstappen. I mean look at it this way, Hamilton used to win with 30+ seconds, sometimes as high as 1 minute difference to closest one. I remember very clearly the 2020 silverstone where he literally finished the last lap with one tire missing and still won, he was that much dominant.

Verstappen doesn't have that, sure he looks like the best one right now, but let's remember how it looked during first weeks of the season. Ferrari got worse, Mercedes got better, next season when both of those teams get it together they are going to be a tough opponent for Verstappen for sure. I don't see that kind of domination to be fair.
It's true that Red Bull doesn't have a car that dominating, they have a good car better than anyone else's and that's a good thing which allowed them to dominate this year, but their engine is just not that much better. We have seen Ferrari beat Red Bull many times, but we have seen Charles do a 3 time overtake on Max just on Austria alone, that was quite the entertainment we look for in formula 1.

So, I guess that between the previous examples we have seen, and the mistakes Ferrari made, it could have been a lot closer if everyone went Ferrari way and that's means Red Bull and Max is not dominating as much as Hamilton did with Mercedes.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge Success on: September 27, 2022, 08:59:50 PM
Ethereum Merge Is Done and considered successful, Do you think Ethereum has the solution Bitcoin needs and is this proof of ETH Next Of BTC after normal market?
Bitcoin and ETH, both are different coins with different benefits. So let's not compare them. This ETH merge was one of the most anticipated events of 2022 and it's great to see Vitalik did it quite successfully. I definitely feel bad for miners who had invested a lot into buying graphics card but pos mechanism will help ETH to grow further. Now even a small ETH holder will be able to mine it through pool mining. That's the essence of cryptocurrency for the mass.
Miners made as much money as they possibly can, and it was already known that merge would happen so any miner who wanted to get out and not be a miner anymore would have sold their GPU's long time ago. If you are still invested and still mining that means you were aware of what's going on and you still wanted to keep doing it with another coin I suppose.

ETH merge is definitely the biggest news of 2022, it was anticipated for many years now, and it's finally here, we haven't had a big bang yet about it, but I am sure that the future of ETH will be a lot more bright thanks to this situation, and I feel like we are going to see 10k+ ethereum not too long from now.
1369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach 45k before this year ends. on: September 27, 2022, 06:10:22 PM
Seeing the current market conditions is certainly very difficult to reach $ 45K again, even if the price of Bitcoin reaches $ 30k then I'm happy, the market is always difficult to guess so we must be wise when investing in Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies.
It's not just about the difficult things that have to happen to be seen, but about how many people are able to survive while buying Bitcoin again in the current conditions. Because if someone still sells more Bitcoin at a cheap price like now, of course a bigger increase in Bitcoin is clearly difficult to happen.
Because some people still don't see Bitcoin as a valuable asset for them to keep forever.
Unfortunately there are still some people who are afraid to hold bitcoin and end up selling it when they see it go down. Whereas, a real investor would know that the best time to buy is right now, why? Because, it is not doing that great right now and that means we should be investing a bit more towards crypto in order to benefit from the bull run that will eventually come.

Will it be 45k this year? I have no idea, but I know for sure that it will be 45k eventually, which means that we should be investing now so we could more than double our money when the time comes and that will be the key to my financial success, well at least I hope it will be.
1370  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 27, 2022, 02:54:31 PM
Natural disasters will certainly change the economic system, many losses caused by natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes or others, and my country is a country that is often affected by disaster, this is due to the many changes in forest functions into settlements and factories or production.
crisis is always there , even natural or man made still crisis will affect economy , there are lots of happening in the world but what we need to understand is that we are here to be ready and be functional in every crisis that we will cross in our life, the government cannot cover our losses so we are human has to do with this in early stages.
there are also flood happening and earthquake and even tsunami so what are the reason for us not to be having support when there is this kind ? it is our obligation so be ready.
We have faced something like that, and even though we are still facing the troubles of those days, we at least managed to survive it as humanity. Pandemic caused lockdowns and staying at home, but people who had to leave their homes for work reasons did so with care, and even though millions died around the world, we have seen humanity survive.

This means that flood, earthquake, pandemic, epidemic, or whatever else the world could throw at us, we could survive it as humanity. The only difference is being ready versus not ready, if you are not ready like we weren't for pandemic, then we are going to face inflations and recessions and many other economical problems.
1371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin versus Banks on: September 26, 2022, 09:55:49 PM
The governments of our world have been looking towards a unicurrency and a cashless policy both of which bitcoin offers and to key in on this, they came up with CBDC but, it remains a second and centralized hence, it doenst fit as bitcoin which reduces its prioritisation in contrast to bitcoin.
Governments learn from communities. They learn from Bitcoin and stable coins to create their CBDCs. However, it does not change intrinsic inflation of currencies launched by governments. Governments create inflation and fiat currencies or CBDCs are only tools for them to launch more money supply to societies.

CBDCs will help governments to launch new money supply more quickly, more convenient and with less budget for factories, maintenance ...

CBDCs are more environmental friendly because less resources needed for them and last wastes are by-products.
They do learn from the stablecoins, but I wouldn't say that it's a bad thing, it's clear that they are doing something that would benefit them in the long run. It's going to be good because in the end we are talking about a situation where you would be buying the stablecoin of the governments, instead of buying the stablecoins of companies so there is no downside.

I still think that you should stay away from both of them, bitcoin is where it's at and you should always buy that instead, but you may want to wait for a better time to buy and think it will go down, during those times it's not a bad investment at all and feel like it would make sense for sure.
1372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: September 26, 2022, 09:32:35 PM
PSG will be facing Nice in their next match of Ligue 1 and the odds are very low for them to win 1.16, I don't know if betting on this match can get me anywhere maybe a big score ? Psg hasn't scored more than three goals in a long time, maybe this would be it after players get back from their boring friendlies and nation league matches (you could call them official friendlies too) Nice aren't doing well so PSG could destroy them.
The match will take place at home to PSG which will certainly encourage PSG to win against Nice. But I don't think PSG will win by many points, because on March 6 PSG had narrowly lost at home to Nice and had drawn in the Coupe de France match on February 1 this year. So PSG will try to win at home against Nice on October 2 in order to stay at the top of the Ligue 1 standings.
That was last year, and this is this year, plus just because last game was hard, doesn't mean it will be hard this year neither. PSG is by far the superior team and they will end up with another easy win if you ask me.

I would have said the same thing if the game was on Nice home stadium as well, this isn't about home or away games, this is about the fact that Messi-Neymar-Mbappe trio is healthy and they have been playing very well together this year, that's the decision maker and since they have been playing better together, they have managed to beat almost anyone, and that is why they are far superior. They are better in other parts of the squad too, but those tree are just another level.
1373  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: September 26, 2022, 04:24:29 PM
Passion is really something, don't you think? Any person, regardless of age, can create wonderful things out of passio and love for what they do.
There is no doubt that passionate people will continue what they're up to. Even they're already aging as long as the passion is doable, they'll do it whatever it takes.
If it is about body, then it turns to mind because your body can't take it for too long, after all we do not hear "65 year old starts running and beats Hussain Bolt" anywhere and it would never happen. But art, business, and many things like that could always end up getting better with age, because if you do it once, you do it again without those same mistakes again, and third time it's even better and by fourth it's even better and it goes on like that.

So, it's clear that there are some things in life that you could be amazing at if you just give your all, and that is why it's much better if you could end up something much more proper that way.
1374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: September 25, 2022, 09:20:31 PM
Statistically ... manchester city will always win , but this is football where unexpected things often happened , leicester city who against the odds did it , manchester united who perform really bad stopped the unbeaten arsenal who start really great almost perfect and so on.

Liverpool still become the second title contender and it's only the beginning. Let's judge it later.
What do you mean about Leicester City did it? they never win any single match until now, they even get humiliated by Tottenham by losing 2-6. Manchester United playing on their own home that's why they have an advantage to beat Arsenal, if not Arsenal will win.

I'm not completely understand why you're asking people to judge it later? you're not a gambler if you're judge it after the match ended, but you're just a reviewer. Actually a real gambler need to judge from early or beginning phase.
I mean back when they won the league title. Meaning, City will win the title this year, but let's not forget that once upon a time Leicester won the league when nobody gave them a chance neither, so another team like that could come up and win the title too, the possibility is there, and we can't say it's impossible because it has happened before.

Same logic here, of course City has the biggest odd, they are the best team and they will most likely win the title, but Arsenal is not to scoff at and they are doing fine and we can't say that it is "impossible" for Arsenal to win the title, sure I do not give them a high chance, but not zero chance neither.
1375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: September 25, 2022, 08:31:22 PM
So it is basically official now.
Latifi will be not on William the next year.

Will the goat be able to find a new seat?
In F1? I doubt Roll Eyes

Latifi is considered one of the most irregular drivers on the circuit in recent years, not just in 2022. Everyone remembers Latifi for the famous mistakes he has already made, mainly for being the protagonist of last year's championship decision, when he crashed alone, forcing the entry of the safety car, which culminated in the victory and the title of Max Verstappen over Lewis Hamilton.

I'm sorry but Latifi is too bad to be in F1, who's going to want him?
Racing world is one that is barely making any money, most of the time not even make money at all. Which means that there is a racing team out there, maybe in e-formula, maybe in indy, somewhere that is liked, that would want his money for sure. That way he would continue to work hard and be better, which he would probably fair, and make a comeback.

He will surely fail, but if you bring that much sponsorship, then you do end up working with a team one way or another, he will definitely find a place for himself. Like you said, maybe it won't be f1, but he will find something, even in nascar if he has to, doesn't matter where it will be, he is rich after all, so he doesn't race for money, he even pays to race.
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trading strategies how to turn 50$ into 100k$ in a month ? on: September 25, 2022, 05:03:02 AM
To be able to make a capital of $ 50 to $ 100k, of course, is an investment in coins or new projects, I have been investing around $ 100 to buy around 10 new listed coins and can profit around 500% in 4 months.
a new coins from a new project can give big profit but it will not work everytime . thousands of new project are coming on the crypto market form here 90% project are fake and got scam after some days survive on the market . so investing in new project is soo risky . so if you can consider your risk yourself then you can invest in new project it is your own matter . but i will suggest you before investing do your hard research as much as possible
That's the risk many newcomers are taking these days to get richer. They believe that they were too late to bitcoin so it would be smarter to invest into something brand new and watch it grow like bitcoin did, I mean they can't think of any other idea how they could make 100x, and it has been done before, people did made 100x returns from new projects so they assume that they could do it too.

But, the reality is that for every 100 project you invest into, there are only 1 that could double your profit and the other 99 will most likely lose your money, and the single one that made you profit can't be 100x that easily so it's going to most likely make you lose money, it's gambling and nothing more.
1377  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 24, 2022, 08:36:53 PM
Of course all natural disasters almost affect the economy, such as the flood that paralyzes the economy around the flooded area. Because shops, offices and public transportation must stop until the floods recede and life can go back to normal. So the handling of natural disasters must be done quickly, so that the economy can recover again. That is why the government budget is so large for handling natural disasters, because if the handling process is slow, the impact on the economy is quite large.
Pandemic caused the world to stop all together for a year nearly, we were in lockdown for many months, came back and then got locked down again and this continued for a while and we still survived as humanity. This means that if we end up with anything in the crypto world or real fiat world where it's flood, earthquake or any other natural disaster that stops us for a while, that means we are going to end up recovering from that as well.

This doesn't mean that it will be a problem, it just means that we are talking about something that will only give us a break, the economy will be stopped and bad for only a while but when it's over we will be going back to where we left it.
1378  Economy / Economics / Re: "Be your own Bank with Bitcoin" - A reminder why this is so important! on: September 24, 2022, 05:35:03 PM
All of what you said is true, however we must recognize that not everyone is ready to be their own bank, in fact that is the very reason why banks exist at all, people were not ready to take care of their gold and to protect it, and as such at the beginning banks were created with the idea of helping people to protect their savings, but since then the idea of banks has been completely distorted and now they manage the money that you deposit with them as it was their own money to the point they can even steal your money legally, and with this in mind it is not surprising that people like us have done our best effort to try to look for alternatives.
My dad still puts his money into saving accounts when he has any, that should tell you what it means to have some people using banks.

I have been in crypto but there are a lot of things that you could with your money between investing into a savings account with a very low interest rate that will lose your moneys value, and bitcoin, and he doesn't do any of them neither, he just puts it in a bank. That’s why I believe that we should be focusing on something that would be more profitable, and banks will not give you that. Look at what banks do with your money, that will surely be more profitable for you in the long run as well and that’s how you should use it.
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me choose on: September 24, 2022, 04:12:39 PM
Satoshi island is quite ambitious project and skale network has been loosing its hype, i will prefer to pick lido dao consider from its usefulness in the market rather than picking satoshi island or skale network. I think that you must consider the utility from the token.
There are so many tokens that were only offering gimmick like satoshi island. This kind of token has more than 80% chance to be another useless token in the future.
It was an ambitious one from the start and people should have seen that coming. It can't be done, it could be hoped for, and I am not saying they are a scam, they may really want to do it the right way, but the reality is that we are talking about something that is quite difficult to achieve. Not impossible, if you already have the money for it, then you can build it and then get the money back somehow, but if you are asking people money to even do it? That’s not going to work in the end.

This is why I always believed in bitcoin investments, not any other smaller cap stuff with greater potential that people may or may not see fulfilled, I would say bitcoin is simple, put money there and forget about it and you wake up richer one day.
1380  Economy / Economics / Re: California sues Amazon, alleging its policies cause higher prices everywhere on: September 23, 2022, 05:30:01 PM
California is the bluest of the blue states and whatever happened there during the last 2-3 decades can be solely attributed to the policies of the Democrat party. Else how can a state which is home to the Silicon Valley can become bankrupt? I am not defending the GOP as well. Pre-Trump era Republican party was like Democrats on steroids. There were countless invasions of third world nations, which resulted in military expenses of trillions of USD. Trump era was an exception, as the tax rates went down, and there were no major military interventions.
If you google "best places to live in the USA" you will see that majority of it is democrat cities, and if you check where people are moving to, that's mainly blue states as well, with one exception which is Californians moving away. What you need to understand is that Sillicon Valley didn't made it better, it made it worse, it caused wealth discrepancy which caused people who are not as rich to move away from there due to lack of money, that's the reason.

Trump or no Trump, democrat or republican, black or white, religious or secular, like I said, it's NEVER about the ideas, it is always about the people, good people will create good states, bad people will create bad states, simple as that. It has absolutely nothing to do with which party you are on.
