I feel all MODs deserve to be in the DT list
i disagree, their ability to moderate and clean up the forum has no correlation to their ability to detect and tag suspicious users, nor does it mean they should automatically be trusted. take a look at the incident with EAL and the primedice giveaways for example.

Exactly...
Mods are here to moderate and that does not make them trustworthy.
2342  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New suspicion: QuickSeller and BiPolarBob appear to be the same person on: September 13, 2015, 05:40:25 PM
Like I said earlier - I know for a fact that they are not the same person.
2343  Economy / Auctions / Re: Casascius St. Petersburg 2014 Coin on: September 13, 2015, 05:37:50 PM
AUCTION CLOSES ON 18 SEPTEMBER

So ... The buy it now price was met by one bidder in the auction and was exceeded by a pm outside the auction. Yet the auction continues ....By not accepting minerjones bid you were effectively nullifying the auction, in order to accept my pm offer outside the auction. Surely you can't have it both ways

Outside of this auction I have been pm ing minerjones, trying to make this right for him with another bowl coin .... This was assuming (and its a natural assumption ) that this coin was already sold as part of a done deal outside of the auction

It's not getting any better here ....

Make a solution then... This is my first thread in the auction section. Help me Smiley

Sell the coin to jones for $150 is my opinion, but he said he is no longer interested. Either sell the coin to Monkey or close this thread and start a fresh one with no BIN.
2344  Other / Meta / Re: Current Default Trust Network on: September 13, 2015, 05:35:31 PM
I don't think this is the kind of question that should be opened to everyone.
People will obviously vote for members that have given them +ive, pushing themselves into the DT list ...

Well some people might have motivation for that, but most do not. I am already in the DT2 from multiple people so I have no real motivation. The main goal was a discussion to help improve the list if needed.
2345  Other / Meta / Re: Current Default Trust Network on: September 13, 2015, 04:47:18 PM
Monbux for LVL 2 would be solid...surprised he is not already?
Vod for LVL 1 would be solid also
2346  Other / Meta / Current Default Trust Network on: September 13, 2015, 04:26:49 PM
With all of the recent drama going on it got my thinking about the DT network and its members. How does everyone feel about the current level 1 members? Overall I think it is pretty decent, but should any of them be removed? Should some newer people be added? Obviously this will probably not change things, but figured it might be interesting!

Current Default Trust lvl 1 members:

theymos - obviously staying since it is his list and if you do not trust him why stay here
HostFat - not really sure how active he is, but probably good
dooglus - trusted guy - not sure I agree with all of his ratings recently, but legit
Maged - Not really sure on how active he is
dserrano5 - seems active and legit
OgNasty - obviously legit one of the most trusted here
Tomatocage - had 1 recent hiccup, but overall very trusted and good for the community
SaltySpitoon - Solid guy and very trusted
DeaDTerra - inactive and has led some questionable ventures
BadBear - obviously a solid member
philipma1957 - great addition to the list overall great guy and helpful
escrow.ms - solid guy and trusted
OldScammerTag - much needed for old scammer accounts

I think the network does work, but no matter what the system it will have issues...

People I think would be solid DT lvl 1 additions:

DannyHamilton - trustworthy and very good poster

People in DT lvl 2 that should be removed?

2347  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Quickseller escrowing for himself on: September 13, 2015, 02:08:37 PM
This whole thing is sort of sad really. At the end of the day, I would still trade with QS and would even have no issues sending first. He did a good job busting scams etc... I just do not get why he did the self escrow stuff  Undecided. While the self escrow thing was shady - not really sure it was a "scam" - more in the grey area.

What about the 'fake' 3 days ban from the forum? Only an opinion and obviously you are free to don't reply to my question.

I do not get the fake ban, but did it really affect anything? Maybe he thought a couple day break would clear his thoughts, and slow down the pitchforks? I think the only thing he did bad was the self-escrow thing.

Oh god the fucking drama between you women on here is priceless

Welcome to Bitcointalk Shocked It is always like this in Bitcoin land.

But not that funny, I must say.

It is more dramatic than any soap opera I've ever heard of.

It is so ridiculous that I could never explain this place to someone who does not post here. My wife would think that I am crazy for even spending time here.
2350  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting-Vod be prevented deleting posts Self Modded thread/Removed from DT on: September 13, 2015, 01:52:56 PM
I think that DT = Drama Target these days! I am almost nervous being on the Drama list anymore Shocked
2351  Other / Meta / Re: Question: What about TC? on: September 13, 2015, 01:49:13 PM
I think the Tomato thing was a 1-time deal and he admitted it right away.

Wait,  what is going on? Before the buy it now offer came, monkeynuts (without seeing) put a bid of higher bid than the buy it now. SO technically ( I am the judge ), monkeynuts is currently the highest bidder. That is if OgNasty is bidding 1Btc XD.

Ognasty said he would sell one for 1BTC not buy. Honestly, you posted a BIN and now refuse to honor it?

2354  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Vod is attempting to create unjust liabilities for me that was not consented to on: September 13, 2015, 01:38:09 PM
Vod,
I think you are going a little overboard here and are getting too personal about this. Quickseller screwed up and deserved the removal from DT for that stunt he pulled with Panthers52. Trying to refund every escrow he ever did is just silly. I am sure most of those escrows were legit and not via one of his alt accounts. He was removed from DT, marked red, and lost pretty much all credibility - what is the point in this?

They all share the same timezone Roll Eyes Obviously QS and Panthers are the same person, but Bob is not.

I am still in the process of my investigating but it seems quickseller and BiPolarBob are the same. I have started the accusation but I will build some evidence before making a big show of it

I know for a fact they are not the same people...
