1561  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Taking Offers] 2013 Casascius VOID Coin (MS-65) on: January 30, 2016, 12:32:18 AM
Whoa...how did you get this?   Was it one of the ones Eodguy149 was selling a little while back?

Nope, not from Eodguy419. They are extremely rare and I really doubt I will ever find another.

I have never seen one of these for sale and was lucky enough to grab one. Not really sure I would sell it, but I am curious what people are willing to offer for it...

BTCjam received lots of negative feedbacks now. There's also a thread here about those person involved. You might want to check that.

Rather than thinking of joining BTCjam, why not offered a micro loans in lending section here? Same risk but much convenient.

Less risk lending here as every one demands collateral which BTCJam does not offer. You are better off playing dice with your funds than lending them on Jam.
1566  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is investing in BTCJam considered a form of betting? on: January 29, 2016, 07:57:30 PM
It is worse than gambling as it is pretty much guaranteed you will lose out.

https://btcjam.com/stats

Look at "Total Investor Returns" it is in the negatives.... Almost at -20% for bitcoins lol.
1567  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Taking Offers] 2011 Casascius Error Coin - Raw on: January 29, 2016, 07:54:58 PM
No seriously, it's been cleaned. Probably won't get a grade at all.

But this is ANACS, even if it doesn't get a grade, Blazed will just keep sending it back until it does.

Doesn't change the fact it's been cleaned. Which is fine, but the value drops due to this.

If ANACS calls it cleaned you are correct it hurts the value. If ANACS says it was not cleaned then it is fine. This is how coin collecting works not just with ANACS, but all coin graders. In other words we see what the professionals have to say about it. I have had other coins that were that clean and they graded just fine.
1568  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: January 29, 2016, 06:13:13 AM
I was actually thinking of investing and noticed in the last hour it went from +16 to -36. Someone hit a nice bet for sure.
Yes i think he is so lucky can't find where he won that much, Investor are in total loss now after being in profit for almost year. Investing in a gambling site seems also risky like doing gambling.

It has certainly shown me the potential risks involved. I think the issue stems from such a small bankroll currently.

Moneypot has been in the negatives multiple times over the past year. Even sites like JD got hit once by a whale (look up the Nakowa situation), which took months to recover from. Welcome to variance.

What app was the big win in? I can not seem to find where someone did so well.

Effing B.S. that is last "investment" I make. Woke up to see 2BTC turned into 1.3. Got that shit off the site ASAP.

Don't invest in this nonsense. Total Effin crap to lose that much in a lousy day. Definitely not +EV as an investment. Take all the risk and get basically little reward. And like the FAQ says they might be stealing from you and state it straight up. Yet I'm the imbecile who can't apparently READ.

I'm am LIVID at my stupidity in this crooked SHIT.

You were risking your funds and it clearly says you can lose. I do not see how you can blame moneypot for someone hitting a nice win.

1572  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My Swing Developer / Hero account stolen - sold to Altcoin4Life in scam loan on: January 29, 2016, 04:40:53 AM
I have changed my rating for neutral for now and hope you guys work something out then. To me, it sounded like you were unwilling to hand the account back without demanding full payment.
1573  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcointalk Escrows - Trade Safely! on: January 29, 2016, 03:55:51 AM
as the big 5 are only 4 actually, i suggest to move sebastianju up to it

You mean only 3 since dev has retired - he is just not removed yet.
1574  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: My Swing Developer / Hero account stolen - sold to Altcoin4Life in scam loan on: January 29, 2016, 03:36:15 AM
So you bought an account without proof that it was not hacked (collateral/bought whatever you want to call it)? Altcoin4life is at fault here plain and simple. He did not do his due diligence so he should take the small loss as a lesson and move on.
1575  Other / Meta / Re: Anyone getting same Error? on: January 29, 2016, 03:31:00 AM
It is definitely the server hosting this forum causing those errors or their internal network. It happens to me several times per week and I just wait a sec and refresh. I am so used to them I do not even get bothered when I see it anymore.
1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you know Bitcoin will tank tomorrow, which altcoin would you jump to? on: January 28, 2016, 08:31:11 PM
I would sell all and not buy anything else. Everything is tied to Bitcoin and if it dies the rest go down with the ship. Once it hit bottom I would buy back and play the game once again.
1577  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [Group#1] solo mining - up to 25 BTC profit on: January 28, 2016, 08:19:39 PM
Well, If I join I can just handle the coins unless you guys object to that? I used to escrow here but recently stopped since it was too time-consuming.
1578  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Taking Offers] 2011 Casascius Error Coin - Raw on: January 28, 2016, 08:17:53 PM
I think I will just send this into ANACS and post if for sale once it gets graded. My guess is MS-67...anyone else care to guess what it gets?

MS65

Wager .02 with the winner getting the pot?  It would certainly be entertaining...

betmoose.com

they take BTC and you can bet on anything.
Has the physical coin market slowed so much that we are reduced to betting on Blazed's coin grades? Cheesy

Should give us more Silver coins to bet on too Tongue

I have more coins...who wants to start betting?  Cool
1579  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Taking Offers] 2011 Casascius Error Coin - Raw on: January 28, 2016, 07:04:53 PM
Not sure why you guys think it was cleaned as it look identical to one of my MS-67 coins. ANACS will label it cleaned if it was and it would wreck the score.

We will find out in a couple of weeks though...just shipped it out.
