So now two of the board members are suing, the development team is censoring the press list and so many more acts against bitcoin. I think it is time that the foundation folds, it is literally imploding on it's self.
I personality think they can rebuild it wouldn't be easy but could be done. First order of business, cut out the development team the foundation can't work with a team of people who are power hungry. In the coming years, maybe even months I see more isolation from the development team and the community.
Second, they have to do a huge reorganization of the board structure. Gavin should hold no powers, Peter and Mark need there powers (not there membership) taken away. I think one of the biggest problems with the foundation is two many of the higher members, also own successful businesses leaving very little time for the foundation. While certain bitcoin businesses should be clearly represented in the foundation, they shouldn't hold a similar level of power. They should be included on high priority votes.
They really need to get their act together...

Yeah custom is the only way to go, I have test out AidoATP, and it will never be profitable, as well as it has some huge issues.

It looks true those papers are legit, and Mark commented We have not been served nor notified of such a lawsuit (except from your email), so it is difficult for us to comment at this point in time. We will review this within the next hours.

Why should I send any amount higher than 0.1 BTC any time but right before the deadline?
It is a scam if you send any thing to him you will be the stupidest person on this forum and in the world.

The problem with the foundation, is the board members with there own ventures and have no time to properly build the foundation so it is to a level that it can do a lot more.

I am personally not a fan of mobile wallets. There's a lot that can go wrong especially on the permission side of things.
I use a mobile wallet, just like my real wallet. I only keep about ~$60 worth of bitcoins in it. If you treat it as a physical wallet, that you know there is a risk you can lose, then there should be no problems.

http://torrentfreak.com/as-bitcoins-roll-in-the-pirate-bay-adds-support-for-litecoin-donations-130501/Last week The Pirate Bay began accepting BitCoin donations and it’s been a successful move so far. In just seven days the site has received 174 donations via BitCoin with a dollar value of $2,063. Keep that up for a year and BitCoin exchange rates aside, the site could be adding around $107,000 to its coffers. Adding to the options to donate anonymously, The Pirate Bay is now supporting a second cypto-currency called LiteCoin.

He will not do it, Max is working on his own exchange so that would conflict with his exchange. What is Max working on? On his site there's a banner ad for https://exante.eu/. Is that who he's working with? He is taking his exchange software from his own http://www.hsx.com/ and applying it to bitcoin, it has features that only he has patents for in the sense of virtual stock exchanges. I don't know too much just hear about it a couple of times.

Is there an api to give bitcoin-otc.com a bitcoin address and return a json of the user, or null if the address isn't in the system?

I do two things, I do a cold storage, which means I create about 10,000 Addresses, load the public address into a mysql table and pull from that. I have a cronjob that tells me when I get to 1,000 Addresses and I fill it up again. I queue withdraws and manually do them.
My second method is I use a proxy java server, that I built that I can just do calls with a key and it keeps my password in memory for my bitcoind. So the key is different then the password. This proxy server does a lot more too but that is more towards other then things then security. This is a really simple explanation but it is very secure.

gweedo, with your logic we would still using brick sized phones since obviously building off of an idea that already exists is "doomed to fail from the beginning". I like the idea of this site and I am looking forward to seeing it.
So I will get pass the fact you are a newbie and this is your first post and say we are talking about two different things. See your talking about taking a product or site and pivoting it to a different thing. They are just taking the original model and doing the same thing.

http://techcrunch.com/2013/04/30/disrupt-digital-money-panel-on-bitcoin/What do digital payments companies make of Bitcoin? Here at TechCrunch Disrupt NY, a digital money panel featuring PayPal, Stripe and Gumroad gave its thoughts on the currency that has VCs emptying their bank accounts to invest afresh.
Stripe’s John Collison said what stands out most to him about Bitcoin is its accessibility. “Bitcoin is still pretty small in the scheme of things right now but the interesting thing about it is access. No one needs to enable Bitcoins for South Africa, for Pakistan, no one can prevent you from having it. It’s everywhere.
