1641  Economy / Lending / Re: CoinLenders Script :: Bitcoin Bank (Borrow+Deposit) Software :: Demo Available on: November 21, 2013, 11:03:45 PM
I can't wait until someone sues TF, and he has to be brought to court. And believe me people are going to sue, someone already pmed me and told me about the papers he is waiting for someone to serve TF. He is looking to get emotional damage, his money with interest back and he has filed fraud banking with the AUS government.

Just thought TF should know that Wink

He's probably bought a plane ticket to Iceland. I don't think he's that dumb to ignore the legal repercussions.

He is like 12, I doubt he is going anywhere...

PM theymos, he will not remove it, but it will show him another case in which the Trust rating is being abuse, and hopefully he can remove the whole system.

1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever hold more Bitcoins than you hold now? on: November 21, 2013, 08:02:37 PM
It is like fiat, you spend money and you save money. Sometimes you have a lot.

When I did escrows it be nothing for me to have $1 million dollars one month and the next month have $5,000. But I will say, when I did escrows and you see you have control of a $1 million dollars, it makes you work that much harder to have the wealth for yourself.

Acquiring a lot of things in this community, do you guys have funding? Can you point us to the VC firm that gave you this funding? Or are you just giving stock in your company in which case where is your LLC registered out of?
1647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Singapore 2013 - Cryptography in the browser - CoinPunk [video] on: November 21, 2013, 05:46:44 AM
This hurts me, it physically pains me to listen to this, cause he is spreading the extremely wrong idea about bitcoin wallets. Bitcoin wallets are suppose to be applications that the user can only have access too. Just wrap a wallet in fancy crypto does nothing, it gives a false sense of security. Remember e-mail you had to use alpine, then you at some point you had client applications like outlook or thunderbird, then you had gmail. It was this nice progression. In bitcoin wallets, we need to have this nice progression, instead of jumping to the cloud. I would never sleep at night knowing my bitcoins were in an online wallet.

The only wallet I can use safely is coinbase because A) They have investors, B) Brain Armstrong understands the bitcoin protocol and took ~80%-90% of the coins and put them in a paper wallet in a bank safety deposit box and C) I never keep more than I need for that day.

That is how we need to train people, your application on your desktop is main wallet 1, online wallets are only for the day at best. Coinpunk is giving a very false sense of this security. Also I like how he is calling on the developers to find bugs and fix it for him. You think any developer that is desperate enough going to report vulnerabilities, NO! they are going to wait until they are deployed then hit them.

Bitcoin Trust no one.
1648  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WTF just happened to coinbase? Did they shutdown and steal everyones money? on: November 21, 2013, 04:28:38 AM
Thanks for the FUD, now tinfoil hats on! LMAO Coinbase is a legit company they have investors, if they break those investor contracts Brain Armstrong can goto jail and have to pay a lot of fines from the SEC.
1649  Other / Off-topic / Re: Let's talk about how hot Asian girls are. on: November 21, 2013, 02:36:40 AM

Sure would be a shame if the one woman who ever took an interest in Bitcoin was scared away by a bunch of creepy stalkers on trolltalk.

Stalkers? Pretty sure we all think she is cute, and it is harmless fun, of how pretty and how involved she is in bitcoins. She is actually really smart, I have seen her on RT and wouldn't ever take her beauty as she is not as if not smarter than the rest of us. So I think you need to get off your white knighting steed and move on.

It is like she is endorsing bitcoin with attitude.

No, she's just offering the other (asian?) girl behind a little moment of glory.

You mean the old lady behind her? What?

Okay, I volunteered myself as the guinea pig. I got a 6 month subscription to the daytrading signals.
I'll post back here with results. So far they have answered my support ticket with 17 minutes of my
first message.

You have too low of trust, you could be a shill for them.
1652  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitcoinCrystalballTrader - Bitcoin Trading Predictive Analytics on: November 20, 2013, 07:59:34 PM
So I have concluded that this is a scam, because I can't find any information about this or the other site I found, on any of the sites.

ALSO the biggest clue is when you google maps the address you get this https://maps.google.com/maps?q=2831+St.+Rose+Parkway+Henderson,+Nevada+89052&hl=en&ll=36.008397,-115.111153&spn=0.000494,0.000603&sll=42.746632,-75.770041&sspn=5.195465,9.876709&t=h&hnear=2831+St+Rose+Pkwy,+Henderson,+Nevada+89052&z=21

Which doesn't have any of the companies name listed their but had this http://www.davincivirtual.com/loc/us/nevada/henderson-virtual-offices/facility-1339

Yes a virtual office, meaning anyone can register a fake company and have it seem legit. Case Closed.
1653  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitcoinCrystalballTrader - Bitcoin Trading Predictive Analytics on: November 20, 2013, 07:15:08 PM
It is a copy of this site exactly http://forexcrystalballtrader.com/
1654  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitcoinCrystalballTrader - Bitcoin Trading Predictive Analytics on: November 20, 2013, 07:12:13 PM
What bank and/or hedgefund do you guys work for? I know a lot of the programmers in many hedgefunds and banks and none of them told me they were working on a project like this, when they have disclosed other secret bitcoin projects they are working on.... So this is looking like a scam.
1655  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB: 200 - 400 BTC on: November 20, 2013, 04:32:58 PM
Goat:  Why did you ding this guy?  I don't see any reason to do that.

200-400BTC but he only wants to use paypal, if that isn't scammer I don't know what is. Too much money that can easily be reversed and scammed.
1656  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB: 200 - 400 BTC on: November 20, 2013, 04:18:49 PM

Switch to the default trust list.

1658  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Verify Message Signature with GPGTools for Mac? on: November 20, 2013, 04:02:57 AM
Ok open up terminal this is the best way to do it. Copy the the text you want to verify, by Command-C or right click and copy. Then go to terminal type in
Code:
pbpaste | gpg --verify

That is what I use.

1659  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for people to store some of the forum's money on: November 20, 2013, 03:33:29 AM
If you think you are able to hold the money for the forum you probably shouldn't be holding the money for the forum. The people that ask to hold the forum money are usually the ones that will scam look at TF. We would all have our pitch forks out for him if he had the forum's money, we all be yelling at theymos also. Instead smart theymos saw that he wasn't able to hold the money. So again if you think you should be holding the money you probably shouldn't.
1660  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for people to store some of the forum's money on: November 20, 2013, 03:30:37 AM
I'm still here! Is this an attendance thread?

Although I am responsible for what was then valued at a few thousand bitcoins worth (in fiat) some time ago, because of the BTC price increase the past couple of days, the bitcoin equivalent has naturally lowered to a few hundreds worth.

In my view, bitcoins are bitcoins, regardless of value, so you can still entrust me with whatever you or the forum deems a comfortable amount. And if we end up using multi-sig, there should be either clear instructions, or an app that can do this (open source, of course) to make it easy.

I'm known by at least one wallet developer (hive) and the founder of one relatively large cryptocurrency related business in the country (tagbond / tagcoins, who put up $5M USD as capital), and I also regularly receive donations meant for the victims of the recent Super Typhoon Haiyan.

The other stuff I do, I think I already posted in this thread earlier this year.

You have one rating on OTC!
