If it's not the best, you can get out. No one will force you to stay. You can go back to your best country. And you're dead to me. BYE headless!

Just because I recognized this country isn't the best means I have to leave? WOW you are full of extremes. If you believe this country is the best then you are delusional. This doesn't mean it is the worst or anything. I enjoy this country, I pay my taxes which are very high so you can thank me next time you are on line for welfare.
1502  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: New College Graduate on: December 28, 2013, 06:56:32 PM
That's a pretty sweet website. Who owns it? Also I don't see actually computers for sale?

Roger Ver.

Apply for a credit card of $500 and buy a Chromebook, decent for you to do anything!

Don't get a credit card to run up bills on, this is the worst advice ever!

You are so stupid!

If he can't earn $500 per month then the degree is worthless. Second that's good way to build your credit score, and btw you can delay anything after a month with your $500.

I am so stupid yet I am 23 and live in a premier apartment. Credit Cards are stupid and you sir know nothing about a credit score, there are better ways to build it up than getting a credit card and running up a $500 laptops. Cause that $500 laptop will then cost you really $750 but you think cause it cost $500 it will never cost more than that. Banks have ingrained this into people's heads. That is the whole banking model for a credit card, charge $500 end up paying $750 otherwise they make no money on credit cards, just from merchants, and not every card is from a place that offers merchant services.

Also every degree is worthless, college is so broken in the United States it isn't even funny. My friend who has no degree would be making more than me right now, if I didn't discover bitcoins. Degrees aren't look upon as an achievement anymore but as a waste of time for people to party.

1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Version management of Altcoin wallets on: December 27, 2013, 05:23:51 PM
Re 1) Not everyone is as active as you guys. Not everyone knows when his QT wallet must be upgraded. I would like to propose that all QT wallets have an "autoupdate" feature which checks at least once a day if a new version is released. Pretty much like an iPad/iPhone-App or an Adobe/Microsoft/Apple/PrettyMuchEveryOtherSoftwareVendor-application. They all check for updates all the time. Some even allow automatic updates so the user is never bothered with such admin tasks. I think, every wallet should have that feature and it should be activated by default. Advanced user can - of course - switch it off (e.g. by a command like "autoupdate false" or so).

Please don't add this do you know the security that you are killing by doing this? What if somehow the update server gets hacked and a rogue build is pushed thru then they can steal everyone's coins! Please think before posting.

1509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Official Lamborghini for bitcoin thread! on: December 24, 2013, 05:32:27 PM
reserved

Is it a replica and how much BTC is the minimum reserve price?!

great looking vehicle!

Goodluck an thank you for your time!

a replica lamborghini lol
what wouold real lamborghini have to say if someone opened a dealership selling chinese replicas ? Smiley

Yeah, i can only guess he thinks this is an auction thread.

Trance, I bought this lambo from a dealership for 216 BTC. It is a real one  Wink    It is not for sale at this time

Pretty much anything is for sale at the right price Wink

350 BTC maybe Smiley

This is why I love bitcoin you could sell it right now make a profit and just wait until the price hits $1000 again... insanity!

while it is really cool  if you make a huge profit of the volatility ,it is one of the reasons holding btc back from wider acceptance  and making merchants scared to go near it (b4 someone says it ,i already  know theres bitpay and other ways to protect against but not every merchant has a clue that youo can cash em on the spot for the fiat of your choice  leaving you with no risk of volatility)

I agree, but those things heal with time and while we have to live with it anyway, might as well make use of it.
1510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women of Bitcoin, Yes there's women on: December 24, 2013, 08:48:10 AM
They're just seeking attention. Remember in grade school when boys would pull on the girls ponytails? Same principle.

Yeah make sense... Considering most people in this thread have gfs and some are even married.

Even my gf is laughing at this thread.

how about some people get over this thread quickly... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=372603 They need help and probably the true sexist.

Didn't know MySql and PDO were programming languages... They are not mysql is database and skill. PDO is an object that makes communicating with mysql a lot safer.

1513  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women of Bitcoin, Yes there's women on: December 23, 2013, 07:12:14 PM
As soon as I saw the blonde girl I was like 100% booth babe. If she had 0.00000001 BTC I would be surprised.
I wish the Indian girl talked ;(

You'd think they could get better booth babes though.

yeah I also wasn't very "wow'ed" by that blonde

It is hard to get smart tech savvy guys or even men in the "industry" to say something intelligent about BTC. I would not be too hard on her.

She (1) doesn't know her function (or she hadn't heard the word PR before Cheesy)),  (2) tries to reapeat after someone and fails .... twice and (3) doesn't know whether she's with the company whose name is on her shirt and whose stand is right behind her.

Yeah I'm passing, but have fun anyway Wink

I'm pretty sure you don't know her function, kinda doubt it has anything to do with BTC at all, lol   Wink

So her function isn't to teach me about trading coins Sad
1514  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Yet another Coin Control Release on: December 23, 2013, 09:37:44 AM
How am I ranting? I am pointing out logic, you didn't say any logic. If you look at the pull request most the code is for the gui, and button functions. That doesn't complicate the wallet code at all. I only saw him extend two methods, so you are wrong. Also I don't expect you to go against Gavin you pretty much work for him, and if you didn't agree with him I doubt you be working on the client. So I am taking my ranting as you have no facts to prove your points and so you attack.
Ok... ignoring the personal provocation, one last time trying to be constructive:

- What are you trying to accomplish?
- How do you think this can be accomplished effectively?
- How could you help accomplish this?

We're in this boat together and fighting will only help sink it.

This will be the third time laying it out. Also who is fighting you are clearly the only one attacking me.

- What are you trying to accomplish?
: Getting community patches in as fast as Core Dev patches. No more favoritism. You claim there are no one willing to test, I am willing to test no one ever post about testing. You claim Gavin used bounties no bounties have ever been posted. Also getting rid of the payment protocol for work should be done on the blockchain. Right now only Peter really works on the blockchain, and this is kinda important, but it takes the back seat to Gavin's ideas.

- How do you think this can be accomplished effectively?
: Be more open. Hence why I use bitcoin-omg. Kinda sad when the litecoin devs are better understanding how the community should drive the development.

- How could you help accomplish this?
: I actually know C++ and could be just like you programing on the core dev team, I chose not to. I don't agree with Gavin's direction of the codebase. Hence why I don't help the core dev team and use the Bitcoin-omg. Voting with my disk space.

1516  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Setting Up a Bitcoin Node on: December 22, 2013, 05:40:46 PM
If anyone needs help setting up a node, or specific questions, please PM me I can help. Also I recommend all node operators to update to 0.8.6 and to switch to disable wallet mode so you can save some ramm.

Are there any specific or noteworthy improvements on .8.6?

Besides disabled wallet nothing that you can notice. It is under the hood stuff.
1517  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would anyone be up for once a week online poker tournament? on: December 21, 2013, 07:49:22 PM
Might I suggest you look at my attempt to make it provably fair? I can't code, so I never made a client/server. I have a thread in the games and rounds subforum. But no one played.

This is one of the reasons why I am building from scratch, this will not be feature for a while, but I making it very easy to implement this is something if sites are using poker mavens can't build in. They protect the shuffling.

1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I am extremely disappointed in Twist and Jason Calacanis. on: December 21, 2013, 01:17:22 AM
I just watched this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBR-OJRmYPg, and the guest were Howard Lindzon, a bitcoin person I never heard of and a blogger again never heard of.

Where was Roger Ver or Erik Voorhees? These are the people we need to talk on behalf of bitcoins. Again who knows how they got the spot, but even I could (85% of my net worth is in bitcoins) explain bitcoin betters.

Now why those two, because when I see Roger Ver talk about bitcoin, it is like he talking about his family. The fire in Roger is very catchy, I love it. He is true entrepreneur. How is not on this show talking about bitcoins? Also Erik Voorhees another great entrepreneur and can talk about bitcoins in a great way.

Howard Lindzon... basically insulting our ecosystem, calling us a few nerds and chinese people? Come on Howard, you got lucky cause you want to tweet links to stocks, not a very great idea...

This is when I wish I had connections to get on media and actually talk to these people and just destroy.
1520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I received this strange message via mail. on: December 20, 2013, 08:47:49 PM
I opened the file that you just posted. My computer started making a lot of noise from the hard drive but I couldn't see anything happening on screen. Now all of a sudden my wallet is gone and so are my 23 bitcoins.

Can somebody please help me with this? Is this some kind of joke? I'm really worried!

That is what you get for being dumb.
