2361  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 within 3 years? on: April 30, 2014, 11:25:43 PM
31.12.2014 more than     $350/BTC
31.12.2015 more than  $1,925/BTC
31.12.2016 more than $10,587/BTC

These are pretty specific numbers.   Did you draw them off of any calculations, or did you just throw out a number?

- There is 99,999% probability than bitcoin will rise 550% per/year (next few years) ... based on the past,  bitcoin price was $60 in 2013, $12 in 2012  and $2 in 2011 ... )
- BUY & HOLD as much as you can afford to lose (just in case 0,001% bitcoin can fail), and you will be very rich man :-)  (ods are 100,000 : 1 )

Past performance does not guarantee future results but I think the price will soar again because the technology is great, we need Bitcoin and most fiat currencies will fail once again
2362  Other / Politics & Society / Re: you get Richer as the Older You’ll Get on: April 30, 2014, 11:23:26 PM
The older someone is the bigger chances are his parents died so the bigger chances are he inherited

If you build a career, odds are you will get more income as you get older; if you invest wisely you will get wealthier as you get older as well

Bah, happy hour came and went and took my whitelist status along with it. The only consolation is that I know that PD3 is coming soon so that will bring a fresh approach to the faucet.

10k happy hour is a great idea though, bad timing for work days for me personally but no complaints! Smiley

Whitelist should work currently. Hope everyone enjoyed  Smiley, will do more things like this soon. There is a 0.002/0.005 giveaway available on games and rounds section currently: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583663.0

Oh it's fixed for me now. Prior to happy hour my whitelisting got me 1k satoshis, then after happy hour I got 500, now I tried again I got 1.2k satoshis.

Yeah it's a great idea. Same time tomorrow? Smiley

Or maybe make a regular thing, like weekly or bi-weekly? Cheesy

I'm happy to do this once every couple of days as long as people don't abuse it (Through use of bots etc.)

I too participated in the faucet & chat on an anonymous account and it was a lot of fun. Great atmosphere in chat!

The exclusivity of it definitely makes it much more special, especially for those who aren't on the whitelist. For them its like winning a 20x roll after getting their satoshis from the faucet.

Looking forward to the next happy hour. Are you going to put them up at different times, such that people in different time zones can get to play too?

Will be at random times, I've made it so I can switch faucet amount and multipliers really quickly on the fly.

Sounds like a good plan. Is this something that is likely to carry through to PD3, or is it purely experimental at the moment to see how things go?

I managed to get up to 900k satoshis last night from a 1k start. 10k happy hour might see a few extra folk cashing out dust, but I think realistically many players such as myself enjoy playing to see how far it can be taken - even if that means losing it all and not earning a satoshi Smiley

Wow pretty impressive, there are other faucet stories here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=323500.0 It is from 2013

Can't wait to try the 10k faucets, how long does that last? An hour?
2364  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: April 30, 2014, 11:00:49 PM
Does it matter if we don't have the answers but we question everything u say?

There are no answers to some questions, right?

Does a question always need an answer?

Depends on your frame of mind, right?

You are on fire with all your questions; I posted 2 times and I think I will quit this thread; now I have to finish with a question : isn't it hard to end up with a question when you can't think of a question? Grin
2365  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FREE BITCOIN Sites *and* Free Newbie Lotto on: April 30, 2014, 10:52:30 PM
Am I still in the draw?

Yes, and with fewer and fewer newbies joining it you should be in the draw for quite a while.

I set the limit at 900 in the database at any given time, which would allow one to stay in for approximately six months...
this was calculated when as many as 20 people were joining per day.

Ok good thank you for the update; I keep my fingers cross then  Wink

Thank you
2366  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: April 30, 2014, 10:51:39 PM
"Memento" was very good, "some likes it hot" is an excellent old movie

Memento is super good.  You definitely have to be in the mood to think though, or you will get lost so fast...

Right, I've liked The Prestige and Rounders as well
2367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: April 30, 2014, 10:46:33 PM
i can't wait for sub 1000$ gold

sorry gold bugs.

its going down!

It was possible a few months ago but it is smelling the end game for all the price manipulation on Gold by the FED and Wall Street

When it will go up it will go up aggressively, don't miss the train
2368  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: April 30, 2014, 10:44:42 PM
how can something different not differ from the thing in question ?

Does it make a difference?

Doesn't it seem like a paradox to you?

the egg or the chicken which came first?

Does it make a difference?

But isn't that interesting indeed?

It is indeed interesting but far too circular to give a lot of time to, don't you think?

How far can we keep this chain going?
2369  Economy / Gambling / Re: Listing Betting Sites Total # Of Bets on: April 30, 2014, 10:44:04 PM
PD still second, watch out for PD3 we may see tens of millions more bets in a short amount of time when it launches : cool ref program, fidelity faucet ect.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208986.new#new

PD is 2nd in bitcoins. but if you add sites total coin amount dicenow has 820 million combined

Right but PD is second on the total of money wagered which is what matters the most

It would be great if you could have an estimate of the amount of coins wagered on the biggest off chain non public bitcoin casinos but I don't know how you could do that
2370  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: April 30, 2014, 10:40:58 PM
Fast cashouts my ass. It's all manual processing. I enjoy the experience and the popularity of the site but the 12 hour cashouts really put a bad taste in my mouth.  I'd never go to a casino if I knew the payout would be anything over 3 minutes.

Good site, fun to play, just bad cashout speeds...

As a player, I love Nitrogensports due to their insta-cashout.  I don't think I would fire sports there if they didn't have that.

However with anonymous poker, I don't think insta-cashout is wise.  Scrutinizing cashouts and thus offering a 12-hour estimate is something that makes SwC safer to play in many ways.  Also rest assured you have this thread and our giant 2+2 thread as evidence of how fast and how consistent we have sent cashouts since 2011.  IMO it's a record to be quite proud of and the primary reason why players trust SwC far and above every other btc online poker brand.

It is annoying to wait 12h for the cash out but it is never more than 12h and I get why you need that time, sometimes I even feel sorry for the guy that has to clear all the cash outs
2371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 30, 2014, 10:38:42 PM
pretty sure this is it, in the next few hours 450 resistance will become support

Is your strategy to keep saying it all the way down until the inevitable time when you are correct?  Tongue

never fails

It is pretty annoying but I prefer this kind of prediction than I think the price is going to stay between 440 and 460 for a few months : how unlikely is that!

My predictions are usually that it will go up tremendously  Wink
2372  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: April 30, 2014, 10:03:43 PM
Okay I switched this is my first new post  please let me know if it is correct.

I am at 2757 posts    .

please pay this address

1Fo2K52Rz7LZw9fcF5BDdDBjfNaViQ8J3x

Okay when I joined I was at 2757 posts. I am now at 2860 posts.   So I made 103 posts in 5 days.    lets say 100   so when may hits I get 100 x .0011 = .11btc correct

then the rate jumps to .0013

I can see 100 posts on a week maybe 400 in a month as my max.

I can also see why the higher rates as you get my complete 2700 plus post list for free.  then only pay for the new ones.

Just trying to get full understanding.  Tomorrow is payday for us correct?

Yes you are right, the higher pay is because you are a more trusted member so your posts are suppose to get more attention and your signature is more noticeable

Wow did we get another raise?  Grin

Every month the rates keep going up and up.   The casino must be doing good

BTC price is going down

My understanding is that you can earn up to a maximum of 14 activity points every 14 days. So if you post 5 times within 2 weeks, you will earn 5 activity points. If you post 14 times in two weeks, you will earn 14 activity points. If you post 5000 times in two weeks, you will earn 14 activity points.

Activity points are cumulative so whatever you earn in a 2-week period is added to your total. I am not aware of any system for removing points from inactive users but who knows, there may be such a factor.

No if you post once every 2weeks you will get +14points providing your post count is superior or equal to your activity count

Why do you guys get the blue sig, while the op has a red one?

Can we choose the color, or do you have to be a certain amount of cool to get blue?   Cool

There signature sponsor is PrimeDice. Not Ritz Casino, which is the one you're using right now. I don't think you're allowed to control the color on either, though.

You can chose between blue and red with PD

2373  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Time to upgrade on: April 30, 2014, 10:00:22 PM
Uh, time to upgrade what?

Are you trying to say this is your mining operation?  Because I sure don't believe you.

Why don't you try convincing us?   Cool

This is not mine but its real and I did take the picture. It will run 1200 TH/s.

I don't see the picture :

It is funny to notice the post is from April 2013 and members were frustrated not to have buy before but they could buy at 70$/coin and the price was 13$/coin two months before
2375  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Overview of Signature-Ad Campaigns on: April 30, 2014, 09:56:32 PM
New one from luckybit: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=586817.0

Minimum of 50 posts:
Maximum of 15 hero/senior members @ 0.1 each!!
Maximum of 40 full members/members @ 0.05 each!!

The user has paid out on his previous sig campaigns.

You forgot to add:

Quote
HIGHEST POSTER FOR THE MONTH WILL RECEIVE A 0.05BTC BONUS!!

...which I'm not sure will be an effective incentive. Roll Eyes

why?? Its a good incentive to apriciate competition among each other, making the sig. Campaign more lucrative and profitable.

Well sure, but given the very competitive rates of some of the pay per post campaigns, the effect is kind of lost. Don't get me wrong, it's a good bonus; but considering the campaign is of interest mostly for those that don't post a lot to begin with, this will probably not make as much of a change as expected. So perhaps a somewhat different approach would be better: like rewarding the person that brings in most players or some such.

I think it is a nice idea, 0.05 is the equivalent of approximatively 100posts with PD or RGC if you are a Full Member; it is a nice bonus considering you are not in competition with that many members since the campaign is only open a very limited number of members
2376  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gold collapsing. Bitcoin UP. on: April 30, 2014, 08:30:34 PM
Gold has taken a little sideways action ..even though its going against the trend

Gold 1200-1400 its all good

BTC July > Gold Cheesy

I don't mind an once of Gold being pricer than BTC, I want both to increase in value and it should happen soon because we are heading to a huge financial crisis in the states and Europe

1 BTC sent your way you Bitcoin legend  Grin

Wow thanks, I do still have access to it.  You should never delete a wallet, even if you've spent what was 'in' it.
I appreciate the donations, but nobody owes me anything.. I generated my share and I spent it, it was just at a time when the value was lower, but so was the generation difficulty, and the block reward was 50.

2379  Other / Politics & Society / Re: You can't pay for a huge war without fiat currency-cool video inside on: April 30, 2014, 08:25:21 PM
What funds war is money, and through all of banking history, governments have borrowed from wealth elites to fund them as wars are ludicrously expensive. These elites have funded both sides of wars, for profit and/or other selfish ends.

This in turn started the rise of the mega-bankers that quickly realized lending to governments is much more profitable than to common people, and enabled them to manipulate the economy and political structures as well. War is in their best interest, as countries find themselves fast indebted to the banks which at that point have total control over them.

In a Bitcoin world, no government or bank can simply print new money into existence endlessly to fund a war. Since Bitcoin is finite and cannot be debased this way, government needs direct financial support from the common people to do basically anything, as their balances are also then finite. We would vote directly for government actions through our direct funding of such initiatives. The US Government could care less in this regard because our votes don't matter, and they can have as much money created as they desire to fuel the war machine. They don't need the taxpayer to bomb other countries that have done nothing directly to us.

I think of you and I had to directly fund a war with our own money to have one, there would be virtually no war. If there was a war, it would be very short as that funding only goes so far. Going to war would then have to be the result of a profound threat to the state where war is the only option and the majority of people agree.

I don't believe Bitcoin can solve all of the worlds problems, but the fundamental change to our monetary system out of the hands of greedy, war driven bankers would be an excellent start to rid the world of suffering.

You are right, what you say is talked about in the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtzJRCqkwvE; Bitcoin doesn't solve anything but without a fiat currency it is harder to fund a huge war without applying a lot of pressure on the people to steal their money
