1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15-Year-Old Makes $100,000 on Bitcoin on: June 15, 2014, 03:45:43 PM
Should have sold off only a portion rather than the whole sum just in case in the long term we moved upwards. Regardless though I'd say he's just another one of those cases where having some luck and being in the right place at the right time can pay off overall.

It is not written that he sold it all, he probably kept 10-60% of it and he can buy back, earn a nice income with his business, earn BTC with his business or sell his business for a large fiat amount that he can partly transfer in BTC for safety and value
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: June 15, 2014, 03:43:01 PM
I think people are thinking that they may be selling 30k or even 30k+144k soon

Nope. They won't be able to sell the 144K anytime soon. Ross Ullbricht's (DPR) lawyers have filed a civil suit in the court, accusing the FBI of illegally confiscating his coins. The trial is currently ongoing. The FBI won't be able to touch those coins, until the trial is over. The 29K on the other hand, was seized from the Silk Road wallet.

You are correct the 29k can be sold and they will be able to sell the 144k as soon as they won the trial
1523  Economy / Services / Re: Selling sig space: 50,000 satoshis for 10 posts every week on: June 15, 2014, 03:41:57 PM
OP, if you can make 10 constructive posts a week, try to work a little bit harder to get 2 constructive posts a day (60 posts a month).
If you can only make 10 posts (partly constructive, partly not) a week, you should check hilariousandco's post history and learn from it lol. Wink
I agree, I hardly (if not none) see any post that are not constructive from hilariousandco. I wonder how does he does that.

Actually, I'm kind of interested in what hilariousandco does for a living... because it appears that he posts almost 24/7.  That's crazy, unless you have no life Roll Eyes

your offer is pretty low mate try to register on some of the reputable signature campaign here you are in a member status and can earn better than your asking price you can still earn by making atleast 100 post then you can have a BTC in your wallet by the end of the month

PD pays 40,000s/post for a Member so 50,000s/post doesn't seem low but it is a hassle for a campaign to register with special conditions members one at a time so he will probably not get any positive answers

You obviously can't read, I just posted that I'll take this signature deal.

You did apparently :

1524  Economy / Economics / Re: $50k to Invest - Convince Me! on: June 15, 2014, 03:40:53 PM
Right now is a bad time to invest in BTC. There should be a consolidation during the next 1 - 2 weeks.
If after that it breaks up, it should reach 800$ before a downward correction. If it breaks down, then it will drop well below 340$.

It has gone from 1200 to 700 then 560 now (after it went lower), it is better to buy when the sentiment is lower than it should be

We don't know if it will go much lower than this before it spikes up
1525  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get money? on: June 15, 2014, 03:28:25 PM
Work hard, be patient and pray Smiley
Invest is one way to get money. But use your brain to get that Cheesy

Work hard but be consistant, try to improve and to be well positioned in terms of sector and geographic position or you will get less for your time than what you wish for

Glad to see it is still very much alive, get millions of them and sell them for a profit after the summer is over

You can get from 1,500 to 20,000EMU for 1DOGE; huge swings lately; buy @ 1500 and sell @ 20,000!
1529  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: June 15, 2014, 03:19:10 PM
June 20th marks the 1st birthday for Just-Dice.

To celebrate we're having a 2 BTC poker freeroll at SealsWithClubs for Just-Dice regulars old and new.

Log in to your regular account, and type /poker in the chat box to see if you qualify for a free ticket.

There's also a 0.5 bounty on the head of both doog and Deb - knock either of them out to claim your 0.5 BTC prize.

6pm PST | 9pm EST | 2am GMT | 3am CET

For chat moderators of both DD and JD there's a 2nd freeroll an hour later, with another 2 BTC prize pool and two more 0.5 BTC bounties.

See you there!  Smiley

so, there'll be poker tourney at 3am CET? That's too early for me. So, if anyone wants my code for 0.005 pm me.

297players registered so far and a prizepool of 2BTC so the equivalent of 0.0067/player and probably 10% of the players will not be here to play it and some will not play it seriously so the value of each ticket is probably closer or higher than 0.01

Ok, I haven't synchronized in a while and it is taking for ever, I have send money weeks ago and it didn't arrive, I am waiting for the wallet to synchronize to see if it will work then

Yeah these 5 minutes add-up if you haven't synchronised in weeks.
However, if that's a problem, there's always the light-wallets:
Multidoge: http://multidoge.org/
Dogechain.info (which uses a system similar to Blockchain.info): https://my.dogechain.info/#/overview

Right, thank you for the tip, I don't really need doge, I have it because I like the concept and the fun around it, I prefer keeping it on my computer than on a third party website
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DOGE-DICE.COM Launches! on: June 15, 2014, 02:53:55 PM
It would be nice to be able to change the coins from doge-dice to just-dice easily at market rate-1 or 2%

The price has been going down for months

I wish the synchronisation would be faster, how long does it take in average with a good connection if you open the client everyday?

The price is considerably higher than it was for the last two weeks.

I open the wallet a few times a week, and synchronisation takes about 5 minutes with my connection.

Ok, I haven't synchronized in a while and it is taking for ever, I have send money weeks ago and it didn't arrive, I am waiting for the wallet to synchronize to see if it will work then

Someone should make a blog and monitor the SwC high stakes games results, it would be fun to follow; http://www.highstakesdb.com/ never talks about bitcoin

1536  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you do not have a years supply of water, buy it now on: June 15, 2014, 02:44:46 PM
Bottle of alcool or Gold will be easily traded for water

So, do you have years supply of alcohol and/or gold?
So you can trade water for you.

No but I was saying it is easier to have 20 bottles of alcool in case you need to swap against something else because it will be easy to do so

Rice and water can be nice to have as well though

I registered last week and I had successful deposits and cash outs but I am worried to see all the players that are having troubles depositing and cashing out, any comments on that from the website or regular players?

Nothing to worry about man. Even if u do have slow or missing deposit just contact support and they will sort it out. Cloudbet have great support.

Ok thanks MICRO, I had the feeling the operation was working smoothly but I am seeing a lot of support messages today
