They didn't invest in Factom like we do - buying FCT's. They bought shares of the company (Factom-Inc), so for them it's not about the Factoid-price.

Around 1.5 million lisk were already bought up from the sell orders since yesterday. Looks really solid

> 40 mio Lisk were traded since Launch - just on Polo. That is 40% of the total supply.

I've never seen such a volume before without Margin Trading.

For Factom... nothing:

centralized solutions are better and faster at proving a positive, like tierion does. We prove a negative, which tierion can’t do

Lisk launch post-mortem: What went right, what went wrong

Yesterday, at exactly 8pm UTC, we published Lisk v0.3.0 and announced the launch of Lisk. What a launch that was! In this post-mortem we bring light to the problems we faced, explain why our web login isn’t/wasn’t accessible, and clear up misunderstandings.

First of all, I’d like to apologise for the rough launch and the harm that the DDoS attack caused. Since the launch, we have been working tirelessly to ensure that all our systems are working perfectly again. We simply didn’t anticipate this overwhelming demand and trading chicanery.

The only problem we still face at this moment are our web logins. The reason is the same as yesterday: huge amount of traffic and ongoing DDoS attacks. However, everything else is working very well. Users can install Lisk on various operation systems like Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. Local client installations are functional and the Lisk network is alive and healthy.

The current client is aimed at technical users, but it’s relatively easy to install it with our guides. The best option is to simply use the Docker installation if you are on Windows or Mac. After we have guaranteed the network’s stability and optimised a few important Lisk modules (e.g., peer communication); we will look into options to provide a one-click Lisk client.

Read our complete post-mortem now!

Very good summary and explanation of what happened!

Everybody should read it. And all who still would like to spread FUD... read it two or three or ten times. ;-)

thats make us clear now, why i'm failed installing binary on raspberry, but its success now, moonnn
muthafukka ddos attack, go go lisk nom nom , shining crytaLISK from fabula nova crystalis

Yep. If somebody wants to be critical, there is just one point in my opinion: They didn't anticipate such an attack. But all the other accusations are bullshit. Plus: Now it's back to normal and for the dramaqueens it's time to calm down. Price will reflect that.

Those who invested in the ICO are able to sell in profit if they want.

Profit margin is shrinking. I imagine it will continue down to 2x or less. I'm curious if price will drop below ICO...good time to accumulate.

Not sure about that. I believe it could be a similar dynamic like Ethereum in it's first days. A lot of dumping when it hit the exchange but then it stabilized (above ICO-price) and then a nice rebound.

This is the Ethereum-Chart right after it launched:

To add this:

LISK has much more volume than ETH had right after Launch.

Lisk currently: 14392 BTC (not even 24 Hours)

Ethereum the first 5 days after launch:

1: 1205 BTC
2: 898 BTC
3: 718 BTC
4: 3007 BTC
5: 4690 BTC

What does that mean? First: There were also problems with ETH right after launch and if I recall it correctly there was no wallet for non-technical-user and there was a lot of complaining and there were a lot of accusations. Second: Lisk is moving faster. The times have changed and there is more money in the market now. Third: It's wanted.

Out of the perspective of those who missed the ICO all the drama and panic-dumping was (and is) a chance if they believe in Lisk in longterm.

Everyone who wanted to move their LSK already moved them.

17 hours and i sill cant move my coins.

Same history here. The web wallet is useless.

Try another one:

If you're having problems with the current web client (https://login.lisk.io/), we have setup additional web clients so you can login to Lisk

https://login03.lisk.io

https://login04.lisk.io

https://login05.lisk.io

https://login06.lisk.io

https://login08.lisk.io

Please verify the blockchain is synced before sending any LSK.

Kind regards,

Joel

Also, when we are talking about the prices and dump, how much LSK was sold on Polo? Around 500k?

24hr Volume:

21698058.06433282 LSK
13629.63901294 BTC

You can see it above the chart.

that's only 1/4 and people are so scared...

20% of the total supply was traded in not even 24 hours! That's a lot. If the volume stays high it will form a stable base. Also good for distribution.

The price is also good. Those who invested in the ICO are able to sell in profit if they want. Those with confidence about the general potential of Lisk can hold and/or buy.

Dev already leave? Thousands questions. ZERO answers since yesterday.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Yeah, yeah,he's working to fix issue. Ahahahahah

He is answering questions in the chat.

And just to say this, my personal opinion: The launch was indeed disappointing but there was (and is) also too much drama here. It's one thing to be critical about how it all was managed, but it's another thing to come up with accusations as if they were scammers. We are in Crypto. It's always high risk and it's normal that there are technical problems. We don't buy into already finished projects, it's all work in progress. The price is safe above ICO and the future will show if LISK has a chance to be one of the big players of the market or not.

What I believe is safe: There will be progress. They won't stop working on it. Now they also can invest into LISK what they couldn't do the last months.

It's time to calm down now and see things in a bigger perspective.
2374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 25, 2016, 11:06:08 AM
Still tripple ROI on ICO  Smiley congratz to the holders

MANY people can not get coins onto exchanges.

No one wants to hold this fucking shit, Lisk scamming devs knew it and they made it virtually impossible for normal users to sell.

Now my lisk balance is all fucked up on the crappy website, and i have only been able to sell 5k out of 36k.

so not fucking happy. i want to sell all of this shit while there are still profits to be made.  No one is going to invest after this total fuck up of a laucnh with the background the devs have.

Ethereum have honest people with good intentions behind it, not wankers like lisk has got.

WHERE THE FUCK ARE MY COINS

Ethereum also had a shitty launch without a wallet and back at that time there also were a lot of accusations that they are Scammer etc.

What will happen next?
The Lisk-team will explain what happened, they will stabilize all aspects of the system and things will calm down. And then it can start.

5 hours after launch still can't access webwallet LOL Smiley

So user linux have been able to sell much before windows user.

It's 3 hours and 20 minutes after launch. Not 5 hours ;-)

Cheesy

Aber ernsthaft: Enttäuschend ist dieser Start definitiv.
2378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 24, 2016, 08:07:51 PM
I even get a "bad gateway" for the lisk-chat Cheesy

But, I see that as a promising sign. LISK is obviously in the spotlight...

You won't find a project in Crypto that is already finished and big business. All big projects are work in progress and about future potential. Or do you believe Ethereum is already worth it's marketcap for real? Or Factom, my favorite, also not the system yet it will be after the release of the full protocol.

The question is not, if a system is perfect at launch. No project ever was, and Ethereum was pretty scary btw. (and still is in my opinion). The question is, if a team has the ability to realize what is planned - and if they are able to work hard, if they are serious and legit. And of course it's also about the potential business-model.

The thing is: If you analyze all this in LISK, there may be weak points like everywhere. But what I'm totally sure about: The idea has a lot of potential. The team is legit and hard working and growing. And they have a plan.

Just for example: Many believe the marketing is just about the price. But it's not. It's out of the conclusion that a project needs attention, not just because of exchanges and trading, but even more to grow, to attract Devs to develop for LISK. And the combination of a lot of attention and financial incentive (not too cheap prices) is very promising.

If it will work out as planned, and if they are able to avoid mistakes that would be hard to solve, LISK has a lot of potential. In short- and even more in longterm.

indeed ive never once said ethereum should be where it is. if it is you thank whales. ive just pulled out a weak point something i noticed and have said they have money to close these flaws. others saying if they set it up wrong but shouldn't the funds be protected from the start why does lisk even give developers the option to "SET IT UP CORRECTLY". then they say dapps when the owner can run off with the funds. if they set it up correctly then it won't be misused but if it isn't bye bye user's funds.

max even said he is working on this to make it more trustless

Nothing wrong with it to point on possible weaknesses. I just wanted to say that it's always about good development, finding solutions and before all: avoiding steps that would lead into a direction with possibly unsolvable problems. I believe that is one of the highest risk in all projects, because the technology is very young. LISK has one big advantage in my opinion: the side-chain-concept on a stable base. That already has some value because it can grow into all kinds of use-cases.

Folks, just a little reminder:

FUD is not a bad sign because it's always with intention. What does it say between the lines?

Most important: Those who spread FUD are not invested.

What could their intentions be?

Sometimes they act out of psychological weaknesses, envy for example. But mostly they act out of competition with a project they are invested in, or/and because they want to buy cheap.

What they don't do: Writing posts with good arguments to underline negative claims.

Conclusion: FUD is a good sign.
