Has anyone tried buying lykke with credit card or deposit money to buy bitcoins?

There was a conversation about it on telegram (open to join for everyone): https://telegram.me/joinchat/AEGiqkF-_dNaHMwQbRSnAg

I bought with Bitcoin, so I can't say anything about it right now.

Btw, it makes sense to join that channel. Some of the core-team-members (also Richard Olsen) are sometimes active there and share some news or answer questions, for example:

"Ethereum was initially scheduled for Q1 2017, but it is likely that we start and finish earlier"
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - a global marketplace on: October 04, 2016, 08:33:22 PM
when available on exchange?

Lykke Coins trade on Lykke exchange. If you want to wait after ICO then you can already install app today and test things out. Matching algorithm will determine the price right after ICO ends, on 12th of October.

so there won't be an other exchange for LKK? you really want do to all the coin trading only on your exchange? if yes, why? if no, why?

One of the Dev's just said on slack that other exchanges of course could add LKK but that they most likely would need significant amount of LKK to start trading. The team will focus on the development of the marketplace and that it's natural that LKK will trade on Lykke Exchange first to have consolidated liquidity.

*******
My personal view is, or what I expect: I believe that LKK will also be added on other exchanges in future, because I really believe in the potential of this project and at least some other exchanges will list everything that is A) promising (volume) and B) legit. But since Lykke is an exchange, and it's a working product, it wouldn't be that logical to ask other exchanges to add their shares.

Yes, the article was taken down. Nobody knows why, maybe because the news came out too early or whatever. But at least "there is something", because the SEC-doc doesn't lie. I'm just unsure about the Draper-Story.

Some context-info about Tim Draper:

Timothy Cook "Tim" Draper (born June 11, 1958) is an American venture capital investor, and 1985 founder of the firm that would become Draper Fisher Jurvetson (DFJ).[2] Draper is also the founder of Draper Associates and Draper University. In July 2014, Draper received wide coverage[3] for his purchase at a US Marshals Service auction of seized bitcoins from the Silk Road marketplace website.

I remembered his name but didn't know why. But it is because of the auction.

Looking at current sales are we on track to hit the desired target of 1.5M Ch ?
If not will you have enough funding to complete the project and also pay for a strong marketing campaign ?

Important to understand is: Lykke is really different to other projects and this ICO is not necessarily just for the money, but more a first step into the public. Other projects do an ICO to have a chance to get their whitepaper into code while Lykke already has delivered a lot if you look here:

https://lykke.com/lykkewallet/
https://lykke.com/technology.php

It already is a "working product" and they are well funded. What they need is more attention, but also in terms of that they don't necessarily follow typical Crypto-marketing-strategies but more a step-by-step-strategy with improvements and increasing intensity over time.

With other words: I personally don't expect until now that the ICO will be sold out. It is possible that it will increase in the last few days, but it seems unsure. But, like said: It's not needed. The market will overtake and progress will continue if you look on their roadmap:

Roadmap

* Margin trading (Q4 2016)
* Regulated retail FX (Q4 2016)
* Offchain settlement scalable to 100’000+ transactions per second (Q4 2016)
* Ethereum support: multisig wallets, interblockchain atomic swaps (Q1 2017)
* Payment system provider (Q2 2017)
* Regulated institutional FX (Q3 2017)
* Fixed income products, commodities (Q3 2017)
* 1 billion USD average daily volume (Q4 2017)

What also will be delivered is what I've quoted above: Non-mobile-access (I don't know how exactly it will be - but most likely "typical" browser access to their platform).

This project needs some bounty on bitcointalk.org. Make ads..

There already is a signature campaign:

"Lykke- Signature & Avatar Campaign [2 SLOTS LEFT]"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1633482.0;topicseen

...and a Twitter-campaign:

"Lykke- Weekly Twitter Campaign [WEEK #2- 16 Open Slots]"

1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Lykke - a global marketplace on: October 04, 2016, 01:49:53 PM
yes, LKK = 8366 SAT (1 SAT = 1/10^9 BTC). Note that 100 LKK = 1 Lykke share.

how about rate lykke after ico end?

I thought a lot about exactly question and I can't be sure to be right, but what I expect is this:

Compared with the usual launch on Poloniex for example, I don't expect the price to be that volatile right after launch, but more a smooth transition from fixed ICO-price to free market. If we think about the risk that early Investors could sell - that was one of my initial concerns, but I doubt it now after I've learned more about this. Early Investors are usually strong supporters and that is most likely even more true for this project.

The key-point will be user-growth. And that is the aspect I'm generally very optimistic. Until now Lykke doesn't get that much attention, but until now they also didn't make much marketing but they've build a stable base for it on all fronts. In the opposite to other projects, the fundamentals are already there. Plus they have access to the established financial system, Lykke can be like a bridge between the worlds.

And: Since absolutely everything (and in all areas) is about security and user-friendliness, Lykke is superior to all other Blockchain-projects I know so far. And that will get attention and that is what I expect: Increasing number of users and at one point that could even explode. This is the first project I even believe it could go viral.

Insider BUYING of Factoids.
From Reddit:
Quote from: Paul Snow
I didn't sell any in this sell off. I bought. I don't know much about what anyone else is doing with their tokens. That said, I am certain nobody at Factom is involved in manipulating the market, and I know for a fact the company is not.
Any time I try and trade cryptocurrencies, I lose money. So I'm pretty much a holder, unless I am forced to sell.
https://www.reddit.com/r/factom/comments/55dpo1/fud_in_social_media_responsible_for_recent_price/d8bl667

If you have any experience in the stock market or even a drop of common sense, you will understand that this is extremely bullish for Factoids.

I wouldn't call that "Insider-buying". It doesn't need insider-knowledge to buy, if there is dumping without fundamental reasons. And that (no fundamental problems) was obvious for everybody who follows this project.

I for example sold some because of the rising BTC-price and I also bought back during the dumping. But I don't trade much. Most of my FCT are on Paperwallet-addresses.

I didn't call it Insider Trading which I suspect you're thinking of.  I called it Insider Buying.  Paul is an insider.  He bought FCT.  Do we really need to debate this?

What I'm thinking of is that it doesn't need more "trigger-words" to heaten up the mood, but you're right, it also doesn't need more debates about no-news.

How long balance of LKK will be credited since BTC has been sent?

Since it's about transactions on the Bitcoin-Blockchain it can vary.

You can check withdrawals and deposits and incoming transfers under "history" in your App

Or the Block-Explorer: http://blockchainexplorer.lykke.com

Create doubt and then talk it up on polo and dump a little repeat?  Game is up.. Hogs get slaughtered. LOL it would be funny if Paul announced releasing the testnet just to burn your asses.

What is always possible in Factom is, that they publish business-news, a new partnership.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: October 02, 2016, 12:05:48 AM
I truly believe Poloniex has everything to to with this massive dump.Nobody knows how many longs and shorts there is on POLO'S margin trading except crooked Poloniex.They are crooked scumbags that intentionally manipulate the market to their advantage just like ETC when it first came out.I never traded through Poloniex for this exact reason.They should be held accountable for there fraud schemes and i personally think they should be investigated by top officials.

Poloniex would be stupid if they would participate in fraud. And to claim as a fact, that they manipulate markets themselves  - what is that? Isn't it just another rumor on the same level we've seen today about Factom?
1740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: October 01, 2016, 11:43:55 PM

Hype and creating doubt is one thing. Blatant fraud to achieve thisbmanipulation is a whole another set of problems.  Most legal markets have protections to stop this kind of abuse.  I've seen blatant fraud be put out "here", that in any other market there would criminal consequences. Make no mistake about it's still illegal in almost countries to profit from fraud. So yeah I agree in one sense and disagree in another.

Why fraud?
Putting out that a company is bankrupt and saying it's verified. To profit from a short is fraud .

I didn't recognize that somebody claimed that rumors like that would be verified. Would like to see how somebody would try to verify such a claim after Factoms last overfunding.

But anyway, I see that all as spreading lies and rumors to make profit out of it. It's the opposite to the usual hype and speculations about prices.

Not a single line is written without intention. And in this forum and in the Crypto-space (and also stock-markets etc.) in general it's about financial interest. I personally like that because even wrong infos involve a lot of true infos between the lines. I nearly never believe in what is said. I focus more on the "how" and if others will believe in something. Because it's about "others" who make the prices. That's why I prefer the crazy Crypto-world with all kinds of bullshit-communication, because it gives a ton of infos. But of course, honesty and facts are rare.

Edit: I'm too slow for your edits! Cheesy

Organizing a group of people to put out dis-information that you know was false for profit. Is fraud as well.  Your intent and knowing that this info isn't true and profiting from it is a crime in almost all countries.  What usually gets you busted is the scale of you're actions.

You are most likely right. On stock-markets it would be most likely something that could end up in jail to do things that are usual in Crypto. But: It would be very hard to proof. I mean, I'm pretty sure that today was an orchestrated manipulation but in fact I can't be. It's also possible that somebody with a lot of Factoids was frustrated or needed money or whatever and in combination with the speculations about that mail and even more with a rising BTC-priec - dumping.

I know who knows: Poloniex.. I believe they could say what happened today if they would look into actions on the market in combination with the trollbox. Cheesy

stop committing fraud

What?
