2381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons Crypto Players Skip Casinos with KYC on: August 11, 2019, 02:48:20 AM
Hassle is the prime reason for most of crypto lovers. Crypto means fast and without restrictions. Crypto users love just creating a ID or not and start betting within minutes of visiting the site. They prefer one or possibly zero confirmations. They want instant withdrawal for their wining as they are not asked questions when they loose thousands of dollars, why would they be asked on wining?
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here have some strategy to gain money, but with low profits daily? on: August 11, 2019, 02:03:50 AM
Some example, you deposit 100 USD, you use martingale method to gain at least 1 dollar (1%) and you stop, and do the same the day after

This is just a random example I made right now, but I want to see if there's someone who try to use a strategy to gain very small profits daily instead of trying with big bets

And guys, I know there's no 100% strategy, it's just curiosity

Money, low profit. Gambling would never be risk free. The lower the bet, higher would be your risk to reward ratio.
More you bet on small odds, more would be your chances of losing higher amount.
There are other ways of getting a small profit. But 1% a day would still be high. Betting on bankroll may be one of the safer way to earn a low profit than actually betting against the house.
2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: August 10, 2019, 05:21:26 PM
We all know gambling is random. We like to call it as "luck" as it sounds cute but it's like "choice of odds" in mathematics.

I'm an atheist and when I started to play, I had a fun experience despite of what I won or lose because I bet small amounts. Then I got addicted because of some big wins so I started to gamble much.

Even if I wanted to think that maybe my winning and losing isn't getting impacted by anything external, I believed otherwise. I believed my winning is the result of the color of the shirt and wearing, music I'm listening to, time of the day etc. Then when I lost big, I prayed to God to help me win/recover. I saw gambling as life and winning is heaven and losing is punishment from God.

Then slowly I stopped and the addiction got away a bit.

What's your opinion, do you believe in God/power that you think may help you win? I think gambling has the potential to turn an atheist into theist because of fear/risk it has. Smiley

I believe they may become superstitious but they won't blame for their descision and luck to god. I'd like to call myself a theist but I don't think god would be caring about making someone win or lose. God gotta have more serious stuff to look into. Gambling, talking about the legit online gambling is just probability. you need luck mostly.
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not ever complain, You must believe in every action you decide. on: August 10, 2019, 04:09:51 PM
why do people complain about the market situation? complain about the drop in altcoin prices? complain because bitcoin dominates the market today rather than altcoin?
yes, isn't every action you decide is the result of your research? if every decision you have made, you also have to believe in it.
yes ... but if you are not sure about that, it doesn't matter either, because it is your right, but remember to never regret it when you make other decisions that are more risky than the previous choice.

until now I still hold the altcoin bag and also bitcoin, I do not panic, do not complain, remain patient, and of course always confident of every action I have decided.

It's a human nature I guess. It whats makes people occupied. There has been researches that led to the conclusion that speaking out decreases your stress.
It's better to share what is hurting you and it won't make you a coward or a whiner. It's better than having an anxiety.
Even you couldn't help yourself not stating what you still hold.
2385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 10, 2019, 01:50:07 PM
what are your goals by investing? yes I think everyone wants to benefit from investment and trade. given the market situation is not yet fully stable, I'm sure you can still benefit from them.
I mean investing does not have to wait long, you can sell it at any time, when you see your coins above the initial capital price.

if you don't do that, you will starve!
Investment and trading are both two different things entirely
With trading you can make profits quickly than investing in coins, trading depends on market movement and once your prediction is right you earn profit instantly unlike investing that you have to wait till market condition changes to green

There are many strategies we put to get a profit. All of our investment are motivated by profits whethere it by making short term buy and sell or for long term holding to get a better rate.
Crypto market in this sense is exactly same to the stocks market. There are people playing with highs and lows, they get any companies and sell them when they think are moving to a direcetion. While some people prefer the blue chips and hold them for dividededs and bonuses and sell them only when they really need the money.
2386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risks will be useless if anyone can see tomorrow on: August 10, 2019, 07:52:23 AM
Since everyone keeps complaining about new exchanges getting released into crypto space i want you to know that not all these exchanges are going to be bad, many are scam exchanges and few are just here to just be a spare exchange like other exchanges we have already but

What will happen if we never knew any exchange called binance?

What if binance exchange is just getting launched into crypto space in 2019?

No one will know how good binance is going to be unless they take the risks

the fact is there is no way to know, dont get me wrong, what i meant is we shouldn't take our eye off new projects either coins, tokens or exchange projects,do research and take your shots, who knows what will happen tomorrow? NO ONE.

Where there are money involved, there would be frauds. You just can't try new things if you think you'll fail. You can't stop nvesting if you failed in a few projects.
New crypto projects are the same and are exchanges. Decide the worthiness of your risk and research for yourself. Look for experience of others and make a descision.
2387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from Too good to be Real investments on: August 08, 2019, 04:15:38 PM
I'm here to share cautioning to amateurs on here that are urgent to profit on the web,a large number of you all have no tolerance and at whatever point you see an opportunity alike you choose to take the shot

Well I don't have a clue on the off chance that you've all found out about High Yield Investment Platform, they guide you to store some sum and the platform will twofold your coins for you just in couple of days or week

Accept my recommendation and safe yourself some mistake, its a PYRAMID SCHEME everything they do is taking from one to bolster the other until they've had enough to close down the platform a word is sufficient for the insightful,do not be a greedy fellow.

Investors need to look up how and from where the returns are to come. If you are investing in a casino bankroll, you'll know your profit or loss would be depended on the loss and win of players. When you invest in a lending platform like NEXO, Compound Finance and Celsius, you know you'll be get paid of interest from the borrowers. If you are not sure where the profit are coming from, it's too risky to trust.
2388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 08, 2019, 04:10:08 PM
Transfer window for English Premier League has closed. That means no new deal can be made after today but the ones already signed and not disclosed could be disclosed in the coming days. So, if there's no large rumor about a transfer, that is not going to happen this year. This year's Premier league is still going to be another tough competition though Liverpool still seems to be the most balanced team for the year.
2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the main parameter for you when you choose a crypto exchange? on: August 08, 2019, 03:49:30 PM
I'm looking for crypto exchange, and it's challenging for me to pick one. I want to start with changelly because they have low fees, but they have just about 100 coins. what do you think about it?

The things I look for in exchange are
1. Low fees (exchange and withdrawal)
2. Large number of coins and specially the ones I'm following.
3. Large liquidity so that we can easily buy and sell.
4. Security and support.
5. User friendly operation. (Some east Asian sites are hassle to get used to)

I too uses shapeshift and Changelly if I just want a coin be exchanged to other. But as I prefer trading for profit than holding coins, Binance, Kucoin, Probit and Coinex are my choices of exchange.
2390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you check crypto prices? on: August 08, 2019, 03:43:53 PM
Coinbase too has started displaying price changes every hour or so and I get most of those prices from there.
I have no other apps related to crypto and as I have now largely restricted myself to a selected number of crypto, I visit coinmarketcap once or twice and day and the related exchanges once a day for the unique coins not on CMC.
2391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance seems to be HACKED once again. KYC documents leaked on: August 07, 2019, 04:13:32 PM
The KYC documents of individuals circulating and being bought and sold is a serious issue whether it was originated from binance or not.
There are plenty of such posts today about binance hack while the Bianance has officially stated they haven't been hacked at all.
We'd need more proofs and confirmation before deciding the origination of the IDs leak.
2392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No Loss Gambling Sites on: August 07, 2019, 01:53:23 PM
There's some new sites in the space that run on smart contracts on ETH, such as no loss lotteries where peoples DAI (a decentralized stablecoin pegged to 1 USD) is pooled together and then lent out on compound finance.

At the end of the pool (usually 15 days) The interest that has been generated by the pool is paid out to one lucky winner. Your chance of winning increases as you buy more tickets to the pool.

Here's the link to the project in question, but I do want to know if this is something that people are interested in --> https://www.pooltogether.us/

It's a good idea. But the actual amount won by the lucky player would be less with a hold of large amount of time. The lottrey would need a significant amount of bought tickets and a significant time to disperse any good amount to the winner.
Much of the amount are lost in transaction and putting into compound finance and withdrawing.
2393  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What DEX exchange do you use? on: August 07, 2019, 01:31:38 PM
Hi, guys! I'm thinking about moving to DEX and wanna know your opinion on trustful DEXes.

So far, I've only used Etherdelta and Forkdelta. And I had no problems. I don't think the Binance DEX is very decentralized. You have to buy BNB and it is very difficult to stay decentralized while doing so.

Etherdelta is my most used exchange in the past. Though now I've heavily limited myself to a selected number of coins and CEX.
Binance DEX is a decentralized exchange, even for any other DEX, you need to have one base currency or other. Binance on the other hand provides the option to pay the fees in transacting coin for many popular currencies.
2394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 30M USDT is sent from Russia to China every day to avoid capital controls on: August 06, 2019, 05:18:39 PM
Crypto helps us to create a free world economy. The way it should have been. The complex monetarial system has many flaws and is an instrument to keep poor poorer and rich richer. Fiat currency is a tool of oppression and citizens by their governments. When were are free enough in our financial activity, our thoughts and speech, blockchain would help topple any oppressive government and install a citizen friendly regime.
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 06, 2019, 04:58:43 PM
Bayern Munich is reportedly interested in Gareth Bale. Real Madrid star whose fate is uncertain was used as an alternative if Leroy Sane failed to obtain.
Bayern reportedly have prepared a bid for 73 million euros. But Manchester City declined the offer because it was considered too low. The Citizen put the former Schalke 04 player at 137 million euros. Both parties have not met their common ground until now.

Bayern Munich would be a safe a fruitful settlement for Bale. He'd be on a winning team and still be in Europe. Bayern would also benefit from Bale being on the team as they have no competition in domestic league while can't give a large competition in the European league. Though they were  knocked out by the winning team in the last three UEFA Champions League, twice by Real itself.
2396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 06, 2019, 04:34:57 PM
58 runs in the first 10 overs with 3 wickets down. There's no hope for West Indies, even though Pollard is still batting, they'd not be able to achieve any more than 150 at most. Which would be an easy target for India while chasing. Losing the toss was the first loss for the west Indies.
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does card counting really work in Blackjack? on: August 06, 2019, 04:26:08 PM
It works somehow most especially if you are very keen into every details and if have a very good mind that can focus and not forget things because for me, card counting is very difficult because you have to remember your counting as well as the cards, I even tried it one time but got lost instead because instead of having focus I got distracted when counting thus, I can say it is not for me.
Counting cards will be an advantage for those gamblers who really keen in succession to take some edge, it's very tough but there's always possibilities even in  small chances you'll be able to work it out, focusing and allowing yourself to manage memorizing those numbers of decks and keep trying to achieved your desires advantages after learning the right system to use.
I think the benefit aside, this card counting is very difficult and definitely not meant for everyone. Slow thinkers and those who find it difficult to focus can never do this and we can’t blame them. Me for instance, I would say that I should be counted out of this immediately because I am poor with numbers, bad at memorizing and I hate whatever that brings me tension, so definitely, I do not belong to the category of card  counters.

I had a friend who was a PRO with this and of a truth, I would say that it was nice and he basically was in control of his game, but I knew he was super intelligent. He was my classmate in college and the entire class knew him as a genius, I don’t really know what went wrong that made him not to continue with the education line but he went focused on gambling and was really doing excellently well.

Card counting is not legal in gambling. You can be kicked out and denied your reward for counting the cards. Many people have won as well as been kicked out for wining by counting the cards.
Card counting itself is not an easy task, you'd need a high level of attention and a super memory.
There's nothing as card counting in online gambling as the shuffle are totally random.
2398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: can exchange services sell my personal data? on: August 06, 2019, 01:54:01 AM
Hello! What is an average fee you pay to crypto exchanger? I use changelly and pay just 0.25% and I think this is pretty weird. How do they make money? Sometimes I think that they sell users data and I'm thinking to pick another exchanger.

A word of caution for Changelly as its been linked to fraudulent wallet called freewallet and mining service minergate.
There's no any rules and regulations for an exchange what they can do or not with the data provided by you. If there's a fradulent exchange, they'll gladly sell your personal info for cheap price.
Exchange like Shapeshift and Changelly provides on the spot trading where they take a minimal fees as they have no large expenditures. And the last time I did an exchange from Changelly, they haven't asked for any personal info, don't know about the situation as of now.
2399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think the idea of sovereign cryptocurrency is a good one? on: August 06, 2019, 01:41:04 AM
Government backed crypto and fiat turned into crypto would be a general trend in the next decade. Soon, every financial sectors including all currency would be on blockchain. Government needs to do it as if they don't, the ease of using crypto would make everyone to dump fiat and national financial bills.
So, in one way or another, crypto is coming from the government itself.
2400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is There A point To still Hold Litecoin As An Investment? on: August 06, 2019, 01:18:40 AM
This is Litecoin's repo:

https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin

it didn't undergo any improvements in over a year (all recent commits, that were over half a year ago, are all meta data). From what I undretand, its founder abandoned it.
There was a price hike due to the recent halving, but for the price to remain high or to increase, there needs to be a future to justify the mining and demand.
This doesn't seem to be the case, as the project is abandoned and stagnating.

So I'm asking, is there still a reason to be excited about or hold Litecoin?

Being logical, Litecoin is a project left behind by it's developer. It has no future as there is no leadership to give it a direction.
But considering speculation, litecoin is the best performing coin for investors in 2018 and 2019. It could still be a good investment for the rest of 2019.
