Excellent comeback by India team after than defeat. And now it's time for Australia to show that their batsmen are worth not only for easy targets but also for a challenging one.
Seeing the unimpressive bowling by Indian bowlers in the last match, the game is going to be a competitive one.
1542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are mainstream events linked to crypto's price movement on the market? on: January 17, 2020, 11:06:17 AM
Firstly when it comes to economy and money spent, every field where money is used are interlinked and have effect on each other. You can't make them completely independent of each other. And don't know where you get your stats from, most of the time stocks increases, there's an increment on overall value of crypto and similar move while decreasing.
1543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoin Price Be Good In 2020 ؟ Is it true? on: January 17, 2020, 09:29:55 AM
Chinese new year is in three days and the coins already has a good price now. The bitcoin halving is approaching in May this year and there are many good things that may come in 2020 making the price of overall altcoins go high. Though the stances taken by the governments around the world regarding regulating crypto would have a effect on the prices, a positive stance would turn the market positive and a negative one would turn negative. This year could be a deciding year for crypto future as the world can no more ignore their existence.
1544  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM (129 days left) on: January 17, 2020, 04:26:38 AM
If I buy my bitcoin at a drop price then I will definitely hold mine now, but if its not, then it is not the time to hold because you will not get that much profit at halving time. I will probably wait for next dumping, it may be happen? maybe for sure coz we saw a decrease these past few days so it is worth the profit much if we purchase at lower price before halving started.

Bitcoin price is very volatile and there are peaks and trough every weeks. If the price goes below $8K again, it would be a nice price to buy.
But again if we aspect the price to reach $20K around the halving, today's price too would yield more than twice the profit in 4 months.
No other investments could provide such returns.
1545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: token supply on: January 16, 2020, 04:15:36 PM
sometimes I think if you look at the amount of token supply in such a large amount that trillions and trillions after the project runs several months or years, the token will be burned, what for if you make tokens with a large supply, but will be burned, ...?

 Roll Eyes
Agreed, i m not seen seeing the main point to create a big supply of token. I just see that a trick that has already made by the developers. We can take a look at pundi and how it was always creating more and more new tokens and then burned it. It looks like the reason for the creation of more supply totally non sense. Some developers said that it's to fit the development of the platform or even to get more adoption.
The total token supply is indeed static but it doesn't mean we need to create more and more supply like some crap projects that even create multi-billion supply which didn't make sense.

They are for rewarding the token holders by increasing the price.
For an example, look at BNB, the exchange binance allocates a portion of it's profit to buy back BNB from market and burn them to decrease the supply quarterly.
It's a direct way to make the investors profit in proportion to the profit of the project.

I buy Gold and I'm into gold holding association, a golden member of the gold community.
I buy Bitcoin and I'm into bitcoin hodling association, a platinum member of bitcoin community.
You complain and is into critics association, a member in a community who does not appreciate one another.
1547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Be The Best Investment In 2020? on: January 16, 2020, 03:32:20 PM
Can't say about the best one. But it surely is a good crypto to have in your portfolio.
We don't know about where the regulations would go in 2020 and what would be the response of governments towards crypto.
Whatever the situation be, Monero is here to stay. It would even prosper in a restrictive time as it has greater degree of anonymity and if used in correct way, the transactions are untraceable.
1548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not replace fiat currency on: January 16, 2020, 03:11:30 PM
Look at what happening around. The first cryptocurrency bitcoin was invented to reduce the hassle of third party and have borderless transaction. Isn't it true? Now, look at what happening. People are more into investing it than using it as currency.
Most interesting is people are most interested in coin which give more ROI, they are not interested in the currency-ish of a currency.
For example, some people are talking a lot about BSV, but if they have some research, they will never take it as currency, but as this is giving a good return now, it's best for them. Why man? Why don't we look into a decentralized coin? Why do we only take it as investment? Did Satoshi ever take it as investment? Or he invented Bitcoin for borderless payment and solution to the intermediaries problem?

Blockchain based fiat are fiat cryptocurrencies. And they are coming real. Many countries have already started studying about it and many are thinking about it.
Soon every of the fiat would be on blockchain and people may argue it should not be called a crypto but they would be much more crypto than many of the coins circulating now.
1549  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump Finally Impeached Today on: January 16, 2020, 03:07:02 PM
I mean it was official, it just hadn't been sent to the Senate yet. To be honest I had no idea that they had to vote to send them over to the Senate, was pretty sure that the only reason they hadn't been sent yet was because of Pelosi.

But then again, that's government for you. Bureaucracy and a ton of rules is a hell of a thing.

Transmission to The Senate is a constitutional requirement for impeachment is it not? It was not legally completed until it was transmitted to The Senate.

Please point out the provision in the constitution that says this. Don't just say, "One guy said it does in an opinion piece once."

As usual, you're the last to get on board the reality train. At least you got on this time.

A president is generally called impeached when the house of Representatives votes to. Some people argue whether they need to wait for the senate trial.
But the real trial is going to happen in the elections. And the people (actually the electoral college) would decide on him.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Craig Wright provided the list of addresses that contains 1.1 million btc on: January 15, 2020, 03:17:23 PM
As the case against kleiman progresses, Craig Wright produced a list of addresses that supposedly contains 1.1 million bitcoins as evidence in front of the judge, the coins mined together by Craig and Kleiman on the initial stage of Bitcoin.

1551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introduction of new BTC units to reflect present day prices to increase adoption on: January 15, 2020, 02:14:45 PM
Bits would be a perfect way to express bitcoins. They are 100 satoshis and for a dollar, it's about 114 bits now.
It's quite easier to talk about whole numbers than on many decimal places. And our fees are too easier to explain it bits. And with the price rise bit would be perfectly usable.
1552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I feared new altcoins might be left out on: January 15, 2020, 02:00:57 PM
I feared new altcoins will be left out so i start selling some coins for bitcoin because it can be a big blow if altcoin fails to surge like in 2017 after bitcoin reach a new ATH, what do you think? And what would you have done in my position

And at current time most of the alts are performing better than bitcoin. This also shows a new trend of growth in crypto market. And bitcoin and two of it's fork are on top 5 places by coinmarketcap. But it's time to sell your coins because a correction dip is coming soon.
1553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An uncertain future of Libra! Is it good for the crypto traders? on: January 15, 2020, 01:34:09 PM
Libra if is a openly traded crypto, it would be a good tool for crypto traders. It's a stable coin that may be much more stable than any fiat as it uses a basket of currencies rather than a single currency or asset.
But with current situation and as they wait for the results of the election in US, the future is really uncertain.
1554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV Beats ETH very hard Soon on: January 15, 2020, 08:14:56 AM
Soon most eth holder will sell eth for BSV, eth is Scam ( if u dont believe it, your brain washed by corrupt media), Since yesterday BSV growed over 137%.
Buy before too late.

After reading this, I looked at the coinmarketcap and BitcoinSV has came to a number four leaving behind Bitcoincash and Litecoin. It's an impressive growth for this coin. But yet I don't believe it could be as game changing tech as bitcoin and Ethereum had been. It's just another fork of bitcoin.
1555  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can bitcoin touch 9k USD next month? on: January 14, 2020, 02:28:01 PM
As I predicted bitcoin going to touch 10k soon by this year.
many suggested it can't be,
many suggested it will go down again.
but recently bitcoin has grown up from 7k to today 8.6k.
Now I am prediciting bitcoin price by next month or end of this month will touch 9k.
whats you guys say?

I too am very optimistic that the price of bitcoin would reach $10K on February. Thought the price would remain volatile, we'd seen a general upward trend in the coming months. This month, it would be difficult for BTC to reach that point but nothing can be dismissed. The current rise would show some correction in the next day.
1556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns now trial and error method on: January 14, 2020, 02:16:03 PM
Not reaching the hard cap is so much wide spread these days that I have stopped promoting for ICOs. The last one I promoted Bitbond is a popular name in crypto industry, one of th oldest and reputable P2P lending site based on Germany and issuing a fixed rate STO with a license from german authorities. There's nothing I thought could go wrong. But the project was short of it's cap on the end date. Though they distributed some tokens, they were dust compared to how much users gave their effort to.
1557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NY Court Orders Telegram to Reveal Its ICO Bank Records by February 26 on: January 14, 2020, 02:07:38 PM
They've made 2 rounds for their ICO and until now there's few information that we're hearing from them.
AFAIK, it's one of the biggest ICO that gathered a lot of money from their investors. I think it's now time for telegram to hear their side regarding the ICO.
How many here did invested to this project?

And there are also claims that they have been selling tokens out of the ICOs. Durov brothers have one after another successful feat in tech industry and they surely are working for something much more advanced than an IM. They were hailed by the west for refusing to provide user info to Russian government and now their instance in privacy are making them a target for governments around the world.
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why We Need Bitcoin, If Altcoins Transfers Are Faster And Cheaper on: January 14, 2020, 02:49:03 AM
We haven't had this thread for, ooh, at least a week or two. I was starting to miss it.

This might be funny now, however, bitcoin will rely only on fees after several halvings. This is not sustainable because ordinary users will be priced out from using it.

Bitcon needs to balance the price with the fees. And with decreased reward, there would be less numbers of miners mining it hence a less secure network.
The finite supply is a good way to increase the price but won't be stable in long run. It's finite but the total supply of coin would keep decreasing for various reasons.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETC team warns against potential hard fork scam on: January 13, 2020, 02:56:48 PM
Private keys and mnemonic phrases should be handled carefully.
And if in any time you need to put your private key to claim the forked coin, be sure to empty the coins on address associated with the private key and transfer them somewhere safe.
You can never be all sure by what you are doing and a small mistake can cost you a lot.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: two gambling games that are players favorite on: January 13, 2020, 02:39:48 PM
The games everybody loves, easy to understand and play are surely Dice and crash games.
They are quick, low house edge mostly and easy to understand. Crash to some extent is social as it's the same probability and bust for all the players.
I too love the two most and are my most used gambling games online.
