1461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for the dip days as an investor on: March 14, 2020, 09:03:33 AM
I felt the same about this it's better to hold at least 80-20 both ways and trade according to rising or lowering price rather than holding a coin and waiting for it to reach the moon.
I had all my coins on bitcoin and one another token, both of which are privately invested, that's why I was not able to sell them or buy more on the dip as I had no enough stable coin on stock.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Corona drop over or will it continue? on: March 13, 2020, 01:57:12 AM
Not sure if the current crypto drop is due to corona or something else. Corona would impact the real world economy much more adversely than the crypto market.
With corona spreading in US and Europe the damage would be larger. US and Europe has been running on a built up system and if it gets destroyed, it would be hard for them to recover and could take years. China and other asian economy on the other hand if could contain the virus in similar way, would come back as a great economy.
1463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should the Crypto Community Be Worried About the Oil Crash? on: March 10, 2020, 03:20:40 AM
To those who said Coronavirus outbreak will not affect the cryptocurrency market.

This is what has happened

Due to the outbreak the demand for crude oil has reduced significantly across the globe. In China it has declined by more than 20 percent. Since, the demand is low and the supply was unchanged two of the biggest supplier of crude oil globally, Russia and Saudi Arabia had a fight on reducing the production.

Since Russia opposed to Saudis request on reducing the production. The kindom country in oder to teach a lesson to Russia suddenly increased the production of crude oil, resulting the price to go down significantly.

This caused a ripple effect and the global market crashed. The effect of this crash can be also witnessed in crypto market as the price of Bitcoin went down by more than 10%.

Cornona pandemic is a new experience in the modern world and the whole world is in panic state.
This could be a reason but the sudden crash in bitcoin price is also being linked to the selling off of 13 thousand bitcoins (0.07% of total Bitcoins circulating supply) by the plustoken scam. Such large sell off would have a larger effect than the price on oil.

1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona is spreading in many countries!! Bitcoin is a solution for transactions on: March 09, 2020, 10:00:34 AM
Bank notes are one of the dirtiest thing people touch everyday. They carry different viruses, bacteria and other microbes that gets transferred from one person to another. The case of coronavirus is another reason why we should totally ban cash. Though doing that may make it easier for the government to prohibit it's people from trading and transacting crypto with fiat.
1465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution for bounty payments on: March 08, 2020, 06:34:39 AM
This is surely the better way of rewarding the participants, whether be it weekly or at the end of the advertisement period, at least half of the reward should be in popular coins and just the rest of half or lesser on tokens. This would not only make the participants happier, it would also prevent the so called dumping of bounty rewards.
1466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sistemkoin exchange is a scam with all proof. on: March 07, 2020, 07:35:02 AM
Many of my clients too have reported fraudulent activities from the sistemkoin exchange. The situation for most is similar to OP. They withdraw on one address while the coins are sent to another and the exchange claims the user has intentionally sent them.
They even accuse users of using phishing sites but they are getting email notification from the official email channel of the exchange.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leave now or stay until replacement? on: March 06, 2020, 03:45:16 PM
Of the most people I've talked with, majority of them believe crypto would rise again. To be exact, bitcoin would beat it's all time high to reach a new one.
That's the motivation of most to invest in crypto. And the market mostly works on sentiments more than anything else. When there's a bullish mentality in investors, a bull would surely come.
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is CoronaCoin profiting off death and Infection? on: March 06, 2020, 11:58:40 AM
I went through that coin out of curiosity. The page is good looking but what they talk about is utter nonsense. They are just another desperate attempt to scam.
And I'm really surprised how many people are falling for such stupid concepts. People should at least try to understand the reality as the scammer would come up with anything to catch the attention of the gullible investors.
1469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WazirX coin over the moon. on: March 05, 2020, 01:44:50 PM
Hours after the top Indian court cancelled the ban of crypto currency this coin is over the moon, a massive pump of 60% within a day is a real shock to the entire crypto forum.

WRX is the native token of India and also a popular peer-to-peer digital assets exchange, guys just keep an eye on this I believe it will pump more and more.

This is certainly a great move by the court of India and it instantly makes india the largest market for crypto and crypto projects. Crypto would also boost the development of India as it's one of the most productive nation for a long time now. India could easily be the tech capital of the world as more people are likely to trust a open political and democratic nation for establishing their tech branches.
1470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Govt. Lifts ban on Cryptocurrency on: March 04, 2020, 03:25:03 PM
Well a very good news for the businesses there. India is a growing place for tech related companies and has one of the largest supply of tech experts. I know a lot of tech experts and engineers from India who are dedicated towards the research and development of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
This particular initiative from the government would be able to retain brains and further help digitalizing India.

1471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Finance Minister of Nepal accepts cryptocurrency is the future of e-economy on: March 03, 2020, 01:21:39 PM
Nepal is one of the country that have a blanket ban on trading of cryptocurrency. But its Finance minister on an event claimed cryptocurrency to be one of the major aspect of modern economy. He claimed Cryptocurrency along with crowdsourcing and e-commerce to be the three large areas that would shape the future of economy.

He had previously claimed crypto to have failed for good.
1472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all projects are bad on: March 03, 2020, 01:11:33 PM
If you are a developer and you develop a new project and build a good team and after several months of promoting the project you don't met your expectations yet you never give up won't others say bad thing about the project and the teams? This is happening with few good projects in crypto space but many failed to understand, they want their half cake quickly e.g bounty hunters, to say the truth it's not easy to be a developer, not all projects that failed are bad, they might not just meet their expectations

Really not easy I have seen some good developers trying to build something for the community, but having a hard time because the atmosphere and investors sentiment is not good towards a new projects, so it's very important that developers launch their project at the right time with the right atmosphere.

I'd like to have an insight on what the project is trying to achieve before investing on them. The teams should altogether stop issuing and ICO the next day they have dreamt about an idea. If the person or team want to have their dream come true, they should look for some private investors or a bank loan to go for the initial development and use ICO as a fund raiser for expanding their market. Just the way IPO of shares works.
1473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Collective DEX Volume is Starting to Outperform Some Major Exchanges on: March 02, 2020, 03:27:37 PM
A legit DEX is much more transparent and secure than a Centralized exchanges. There are no virtual orders as all orders are held on users wallet and there are no chances of loss from the exchange side as they don't hold the tokens. Though users should be extra cautious as they are solely responsible for the security of their coins. It's not a hard thing as they just needs to practice safe web habits.
1474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VPNs using Blockchain Technology on: March 01, 2020, 01:40:12 PM
Tor works with the same principal except for the users don't have to pay for the connection while the reward for running nodes are very small and rare.
The idea is good but it all comes down to the execution. Users would want better facility, security and speed in a cheaper price to switch to blockchain based service from a traditional one.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Courts Will Seize BTC With Miners' Help: Self-Proclaimed Satoshi Craig Wright on: March 01, 2020, 06:13:38 AM

Will miners come together and roll back the blockchain? Craig Wright seems to think so, or is he spreading fud and lying again like usual?? i doubt that this will occur.

It's even difficult for the bitcoin team to bring together miners to decide for an improvement. I highly doubt miners would be convinced to roll back everytime a court rules them to. Miners are not a centrally registered industry and even if we are able to track and contact 51% of miners, they are not bound to follow the court rules that are not coming through their jurisdiction. And rolling back are always a financial loss to the miners.
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Real Anonymous Coins Are Free from Restrictions on: March 01, 2020, 02:36:40 AM
Most of the coins are free from restrictions but the users themselves give up their anonymity while trading the coin in or out from fiat currency. This is the point where the government can really track users. If we are able to create a self sustaining market around privacy focused coins, there's no stopping it. Though real estates and large physical goods won't remain out of government radar.
1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people compare betting and investing in bitcoin (in terms of risk)? on: February 27, 2020, 05:56:24 PM
I don't really understand why people see bitcoin as betting. That's what most people believe; they have this mindset that investing in bitcoin is more like playing a bet. But is that true? Capital NO!
I had a conversation with two of my siblings who both know that I'm into cryptocurrency. The older one was asking how much he would earn if he invested about 1,500$ worth of bitcoin. (Tho, I gave him a good explanation that it doesn't work that way). But then, my other sibling was saying that bitcoin is more like betting. Well, I ended up proving my point and here's it:
Betting is risky and so is investing in bitcoin. However, there's a big bridge between them. When you bet, your money is highly at stake than when you invest in bitcoin. This is because when you bet and lose, YOU LOSE ALL YOU STAKED. On the other hand, YOU CAN NEVER LOSE ALL IF YOU INVEST IN BITCOIN. Bitcoin can't just fall to zero. That's impossible. Tho it may need a long growth for one to gain, it should never be compared with betting (in terms of risk).

To be real no investment is safe. So, it's a little gamble every time. If you are familiar at stocks, you'd know people compare stocks market to gambling and to some extent it has some features of gambling. But surely it's not always a gamble there or here. Crypto prices are always been volatile. The world average for bank interest might be something around 10% per year while you can see that change in just a day in crypto.
1478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: February 27, 2020, 04:54:16 PM
We all have a new hope for crypto this year and no one saw coronavirus outbreak coming, if this isn't contained anytime soon all dreams might be nothing but dreams this year, Coronavirus ain't helping at all

People are working to contain it and they seem to have started trial of the vaccines against it. Humans won't lose to virus.
The reason why this particular virus has a large impact on crypto is because it mostly affected China, which still is the defacto center for world crypto market. It still has the largest mining power and hardware manufacturing as well many of crypto projects and exchanges operates there. We could just hope that the virus would go away sooner without causing much damage to the world economy.
1479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One of the Richest Man in Russia Launching his own Token on: February 26, 2020, 03:31:58 PM
Bloomberg too have reported on this
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-02-25/potanin-forges-ahead-on-crypto-tokens-for-metals-and-air-tickets

And this token is probably the first one to get approval from the russian central bank. Russians are one of the most cryptoliterate population and they would soon lead the market.
There were also discussion about another Russian billionaire launching an ICO to fund a mega mining project.
1480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone knows how to read charts on here? on: February 26, 2020, 03:18:17 PM
There's no difficulty in reading chart. Most of them are just the price plots along time. For specific types of chart, look for their meaning on internet.
For example if you want to know about understanding candlestick chart, this is a good guide to start with https://www.investopedia.com/trading/candlestick-charting-what-is-it/
With reading, you can learn to analyse chart. Tough analysis are not always true, they are better than placing your order blindly.
