241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: July 18, 2020, 03:26:57 AM
Altcoins are worth buying. There are only some altcoins that are not worth buying; that is why they called it a "shitcoin" because it doesn't have any value, and it doesn't have any trading volume that will only give you problems when you will sell your coin. So I recommend that you should only buy top coins in the market such as LTC, BNB, BCH, XRP, ETH, etc.
242  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19 effect on your country's economy!!! on: July 17, 2020, 12:10:32 PM
This covid19 has a huge impact to our country's economy so most do not have work. People are struggling to survive since the government cannot provide all the necessity of many. Business were affected due to close and still in community quarantine.  Actually globally are suffering this kind of crisis so hoping this would end, we could go back to normal and there is an availability of vaccine.
There is a good effect also  because many of those people that lose their jobs are now starting to learn having business.
More online small entrepreneur now are building their own businesses.

Here in our community so many skills had been developed this pandemic.

Some are cooking skills and some are physical skills towards services.

Meaning let us not just look for the negative effect instead try to check the positive.
Most people who temporarily lost their jobs due to the pandemic of COVID-19 are starting to make their own online business for them to support the daily needs of their family, but there are some online business owners and online sellers who don't have enough earning to support all of their necessities and pay their monthly bills, that is why a lot of people still look and apply for a regular job.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People still falls for Bitcoin doubling scheme and fake giveaways on: July 17, 2020, 11:43:03 AM
Yep i feel bad for those people who lost their money because of this giveaway trick. Also, i dont know why they believe on that. I mean its obviously a scam why people still get trapped. Its 2020 i though people way more smarter.

Again, as I have said in my previous posts, it really looks believable in the eye because it came from an official twitter account. No way that you will find out that it was a scam people pulled off by bad actors. But of course, we really felt bad for them, that is still money that they have lost. And we are still in the pandemic and every money counts. So if you lost that to the scammers, then it's a double whammy for you. Hope that this will be the last time that we are going to hear people falling for this kind of trick.
Indeed. Some giveaways are too good to be true that results in people getting trick and scam at the same time. Since a lot of people need a source of income and money, it is straightforward for scammers to fool this kind of people, and we can't blame them by that because people who get victimized by this fake giveaways still don't do proper research and check the post or site if it is legit.
244  Other / Off-topic / Re: The New Normal on: July 17, 2020, 05:05:49 AM
Not all of us are ready for these new normal thing because not everybody has enough technology like smartphones and laptops and stable connections to work at their homes, buy their groceries online, learn and study in an online school, etc. That is why we need to work together with our government to manage and prevent the virus from spreading until the vaccine was released this year or next year.
245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC out of top 10 coins on: July 16, 2020, 05:15:42 PM
No one know about that, but I guess that could be possible if litecoin is lost trust  from the investors. There will be a big panic selling from the investors, and they will moves to the other potential coins. It is difficult to predict if litecoin can be out of the top 10 coins, but we know that in the crypto world,Anything can happen.Hopefully litecoin will not lose its position at the market, and litecoin can survive in long term.

It is impossible for investors to lose their trust on Litecoin because a lot of investors are now investing their funds in LTC due to it's high trading volume that traders and investors don't have any problems on where they will buy or sell it to. So it is impossible for Litecoin to be out of the top 10 altcoins in the market.
246  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 16, 2020, 04:55:42 PM
We can't really rely on bitcoin right now. It is a speculative asset and it is not that giving a good profit lately as it is stagnant these days. Though it gave people a lot of profit in the long run, it is not really reliable and dependable so better chose another way to earn a profit, take note that you need a reliable and dependable source of income these days.

For us who doesn't have enough we can't rely to live from our crypto-income, but there are people who are earn a lot in crypto-currencies, they can sell parts and still have a good life, and savings in crypto-currencies.

Well, you said it yourself. They may sell some of it but they don't rely on it. There are those that earned a lot of profit from cryptos but I don't think they really rely on it. Some people I know is just holding their btcs and cryptos right now and they are not planning to sell them since the price might pump in the near future.

Unless they are working for example, freelancing and taking their payments bitcoin, we can say they can rely on it but I would prefer to accept fiat if that is the case since the volatility of it may affect me.
Some people only buy bitcoin and cryptocurrencies to sell their cryptos if the price starts to pump up and exchange it into fiat that they don't want to hold and keep their bitcoins and cryptocurrencies in the long term. Unlike other crypto users, they do rely on bitcoin and cryptocurrency because some of them used their monthly or weekly income on their trades and signature campaigns for their necessities and monthly bills.
247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OneCoin scam promoters found dead! on: July 16, 2020, 03:43:45 PM

this is really possible to happen for everyone that promoting scam investment . Who know if the money  he invested is  the only money they have and because they trust you as promoters and promising them to earn good return  they invest. they invest all their money because they trust you with your words and then suddenly it turn to be scam , what do you think will be the feelings of the investors invested all those money they have . Its angry and that angry turns the feeling to kill the persons they think the reasons why they feel miserable  life and the reasons why he lost all of their money.
Indeed. People who accidentally promotes scam projects would be trouble because if investors would know that you are promoting a scam projects they could put all the blame to you even you are only a promoter. So before we promote a project or a coin we should also check it first if it is legitimate, not only investors because other people would think that we are part of their scheme.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker games that are providing free plays to earn real money on: July 16, 2020, 03:17:59 PM

Then take note, you said it's a free tournament, how in a free tournament can he gain a lot? It's absolutely unbeilavable. And if you have a winning streak on poker, there's no easy way to gain big cash on free tournaments. But if it's true then, that's really amazing 'cause he's very lucky.
Well there is a high chance that one could gain after winning in poker even if it is a free tournament. Who knows that the tournament was being sponsored like a gambling platform to attract all users to join in the platform and play with them. This is one way of promoting gambling platforms and if a user sees how good the platform was being fair enough and if it is also having low fees then definitely users will come to join the platform together with other gamblers. A gambling platform could sponsor high rewards in a free tournament game that it can benefit for them in the future.
It will be a great opportunity for a poker player or gambler if he gained the free money that he have earned from the free poker tournament because he didn't used one of his funds to play. It would also benefit the gambling site because other players would know that the site that they are playing is fair enough to play.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a trading Bot? on: July 12, 2020, 11:50:51 AM
I never used any trading bot because I do not understand it's algorithm. Most of the bots that I've watched losts about almost 50% of the trade. If that will just be the case, I'll just trade with myself.
Recently, I encountered a trading bot called Bitcoin Revolution, you need to deposit atleast 250USD there. And you can start the bot to trade for you. There are a lot of testaments, they are saying that it is legitimate and they are profiting about 1000USD everyday.
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: July 12, 2020, 11:21:32 AM
There are several traces of newbies finding signals here and there to trade, but it is wrong. Believe me If you want to trade consistently and profitably just learn how to do it yourself no matter how difficult or how long it takes.

You can subscribe to signals if you're the type who wants to earn while you learn but long term.... Learn trading by yourself
Actually, it is really good to rely on your own knowledge and strategies that you have gotten from studying and the experience on trading. But asking for the opinion of others is a wise decision. They probably do have some knowledge that you do not still have, it might be helpful ti you. This is why forums are created, for people to collaborate and to learn with each other. Do not be afraid to ask for any help. Grow.
251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea. on: July 12, 2020, 10:50:21 AM
You can always go on trading anytime you want. But it is always the best to study, observe, and create plans before going into different or unknown environment. Generate analyzations first from different data that you have gathered about the coins that you wanted to be traded. Maximize. Use different indicators before you proceed. It okay to lose as long as you've gain any learnings from that. Experience will be the best weapon that you can gain from trading. Do not rush in.

I hope this would help you guys lalo na sa mga interested din sa trading!

Salamat, Kababayan!!

Sobrang daming time kong nagugugol makahanap lang ng mga kumpletong courses online na modular and sa simpleng free application ko lang pala makikita ito. I've been also interested in trading kasi buhat din ng quarantine and yung one of my family members had a friend na nagiistock trading in which soon yung fam namin is mag iinvest na din and i I had certificates sa trading I might use the quarantine (na mukhang mas hahaba pa) for studying trading in general (I might be consider trading crypto as well and I think same lang naman ito ng idea but the volatility is completely different).

I'll be downloading this and hopefully matapos ko to lahat while applying it sa mga trading simulation as well.
253  Economy / Reputation / Re: I have been contacted by 1xbit.com for promotion on: July 11, 2020, 03:09:26 PM
If 1xbit is ready to resolve all the accudations on them, I think that's good and after resolving all the issue, you can run the signature campaign. We have seen a few projects doing that in the forum. Roobet had some issue with Yahoo62278 and they are still good after handling the issue professionally.

If and only if. But if they were really scammers, I guess there would be no place for them here in the forum. They could resolve the issue by answering each and every accusations against them, post a thread of their proof of legitimacy, do necessary actions to those whom have valid proofs that they were scammed, AND not by contacting trusted campaign managers first.

But its kinda funny if we would recommend campaign managers that were scammers as well to manage and made contact with 1xbit  Grin

254  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Have you ever heard of FAKE Elon Musk giveaways? Here is one... on: July 11, 2020, 02:39:58 PM

Only other non-bitcointalk forum users would be fooled with such schemes. Providing a screenshot with a famous celebrity or person mostly in social media platforms often were made by simply inspecting the element on the browser and changing its content, then snip it and fool someone to go to your link. I've already seen a lot of telegram chats and spams that were only providing such screenshots yet we cannot blame those that were fooled because they really had this idea that there's such thing as "easy money". But still, shame on those who are behind such immoral activities.
255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys use to record your trades? on: July 11, 2020, 02:11:35 PM
I need something good where i can record my trades.

What do you recommend? PReferably with possibility to do statistics, upload pictures of charts and so forth.

Much abliged.

You can simply use Microsoft Excel or any Spreadsheet applications dude. And your inquiry was too blurry. There are no such applications that automatically record your trades, but isn't most of the trading platforms online has a feature of trade history? Those actions would be based off on your initiative, nothing more. You and yourself depends on would you record your trade history or not. But yeah, I think spreadsheet is far the best idea to do that.

Gusto ko din sana ipromote yung sarili kong thread which talks about ethical hacking and how attackers hacks users through files and mobile applications.
[DISCUSSION] Why you shouldn't trust any anonymous files and applications.

Though di siya ganon kaganda and ka-informative yung content (kasi na move din sa off-topic kaya na dump agad), I hope it would help yung iba nating mga kababayan lalo na yung mga download lang nang download ng files and apps online hehe. Salamat!
257  Other / Meta / Re: Satoshi banned! on: July 11, 2020, 01:09:25 PM
From Will "satoshi" ever login again?:
Do you think "satoshi" will ever just randomly log in one day and post something?
His account is locked, so no. If he wants to claim his account, he'll have to contact me with a PGP signature.

So basically satoshi's account is inaccessible unless he contacted the forum administrator theymos while ironically satoshi is the Founder of the Bitcoin and the forum itself?

But TBH I think satoshi's inactivity for years that have passed seemed to answer one common question which is "Who is Satoshi?", and the answer is I think Satoshi and his account were just a front to whom really is the Founder. I don't say it's theymos nor whatsover. I guess it's just a codename or a username which most of us think of since we started in the forum (while satoshi is the smallest amount of Bitcoin like penny in dollars).

But it is also kinda scary as there are still a lot of bitcoins that aren't used and in hold by Satoshi. If ever he's mad at us he might dump it lol  Grin

hahaha,Maybe because the Title and the Post signifies about the losing and not about from what the story is all about.

LOL that's why I don't also see the correlation of the main thread and the main article as well. The OP should only make a new yet cliche topic than to link some article yet talk about different things. It just makes no sense at all.

We haven't added the underground bet which is we know they are not playing around down there. if they are not operating illegally, we can somehow find a source that will lead us to know how much they spend on one bet down there. I'm sure we can also count some millions of dollars and maybe much more than that. I don't know how they gonna set-up their own gambling station but I know there is something going on there which normal people don't know.

Can you list some online "underground bet"-ting platform? We talk about not the general gambling, but rather focuses on the big loss on crypto gambling alone. And I don't had any idea if there was still an underground betting sites that uses crypto. There could be online casinos that are decentralized and unregistered to its country of origin but most of it were either a prototype (because of the failure on investments) or were endorsed in the forum or any crypto related forums. Therefore, most online casinos starts with making its platform popular, hence there's no importance on making it hidden (unless there would be bets that were not only cryptos)
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kudos to Bitcasino.io on: July 09, 2020, 10:48:06 AM
I just want to give a shout out to Bitcasino.io

a couple weeks ago, my account was hacked.  It was my own fault, I didn't have 2fa set up.     I've now fixed that issue, my account is secure (i hope).    In that ordeal, the hackers withdrew around 11mbtc.  Not a huge amount, but still.    was not thrilled about it.

Bitcasino just sent me a note that they are going to give me some free spins for the amount that was taken from my account.     Did they have to do that? no.    Of course i'm happy about this, but I also feel this was the correct move as they have proven themselves to be more than trustworthy and will continue to play there.  And I'm sure they know they'll get much more than that from me.  :-)

Best,
wecanbothwin

I don't know but why does it feels like this is promoted or a way to bring back the image of Bitcasino.io? Its accounts in this forum was red-tagged hence I don't really trust such platforms. And what is really the idea of making a thread just to make a review? this kind of thread doesn't belong here, better move this onto Service Discussion as it fits your thread's idea perfectly.

Enough said, giving you free spins isn't a good idea at all. If you were the one who made fault, you shouldn't be rewarded with it. It's funny that they gave you spins despite your shortcomings. It can be abused by anyone, hence i still woulnd't trust this.

I don't think the recent replies in this thread have read the real article. Because in fact, the article states that a man steals from a company just for his gambling addiction, and not losing in gambling in general. It's just funny that they kept replying without further reading the articles indicated in the OP lol.

IMO, the addiction that led to a crime the man committed was common as many gamblers, online or land-based, were doing everything just to fulfill their gambling satisfaction, yet the guy went too far by stealing a company's assets and linking them onto his accounts just for gambling purposes. And yes, it was a huge loss not only to the man but also to the company he stole those funds from, nearly $10M. But the article didn't indicated that he loss, he just funded approximately $8M for his gambling accounts.
