241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google bans 8 crypto apps on: August 26, 2021, 09:56:40 PM
It's good that Google Play Store removed these scam apps. The Google team could improve so that the store does not proliferate harmful applications so that users use the apps safely. We often hear about apps that don't deliver on the benefits they offer. In particular, I have no interest in this type of business, it is best to work, no matter how much you earn, the important thing is to save and reduce unnecessary expenses.
242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: August 26, 2021, 05:36:19 PM
I am remembering how I learned about bitcoin. My first source was here in this forum I started to join the bounty campaigns but while doing the bounty hunter tasks I was interested in learning about bitcoin.
I must confess that I am self-taught, nobody told me to create an account here or on any other site related to cryptocurrencies because the initiative was totally mine.
In addition to the forum I learned about bitcoin at https://bitcoin.org/
It was my best source for creating a solid foundation for my knowledge.

When a newbie loses money I agree as you say it is because they do not assume their responsibility as an investor and before starting they should educate themselves and should not fall into greed.
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all your assets, Investing in Bitcoin is really a madness or beneficial ? on: August 25, 2021, 11:34:58 PM
The example of the American family that sold all their assets, I hope they have not sold their house I think it is very risky.
Investing the other assets would be good to have a Plan B if something negative were to happen, such as the market falling for some reason as delicate as it happened with the onset of the pandemic.

Investing all the income in bitcoin could also result, you always have to see the investment in bicoin with the condition that it is long-term.
Because you will not sell your bitcoin and therefore you will not lose, you will only sell what you need for your daily needs.
244  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you decided what you want to be? on: August 25, 2021, 10:39:20 PM
When I finished my high school and so soon I had to say what to study. I studied to be an Accounting technician because my parents could only pay me for that degree and they advised me to study because that would be the inheritance that my parents could give me, education.
Today I thank you very much with all my heart because it is the most valuable thing I have and it is a good tool for me and for my relatives because I share it with them.

I could advise you to study your career by vocation, which is what you enjoy the most and if it is in terms of health, it must definitely be by vocation.
245  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Taliban are highly unlikely to change on: August 25, 2021, 10:05:55 PM
We are human we cannot wish misfortune to any group of individuals even the Taliban because it is not a correct thought.

We have noticed that after the departure in Afghanistan of the citizens of the United States and Europe, Russia still maintains its embassy.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey through a phone call agreed to strengthen bilateral coordination on Afghan affairs.
Russia's strategy is to control the Taliban.

246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador rolls out 200 Bitcoin ATMs in a bid to speed-up nationwide adoption on: August 25, 2021, 09:14:20 PM
I admire the determination of President Bukele. Some people opposed to his government classify him as an autocratic leader.
In the nation of El Salvador, as in all countries, there are opposition groups, which is why we notice that Bukele speaks to both groups, those who support the Bitcoin law and those who do not.
I am looking forward to September 7th and to see how Salvadorans embrace bitcoin. My eyes are fixed to see how the Chivo wallet works for Salvadorans.
As they become successful with bitcoin, more nations will follow in their footsteps.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin go high the poor will not participate on: August 25, 2021, 08:54:36 PM
If bitcoin reaches its highest peak of $ 100,000 it is still good for the poor. Why not?
It is better for them to invest in bitcoin than to make it in their own banks. It is also better to receive their salary in bitcoin than in US dollars or euros.
IMO, although the price of bitcoin could be very high, it is also good for them, I trust it because I am poor and I live in a country with inflation and I have overcome the problem.

Let's keep our attention in the country of El Salvador where bitcoin will begin to be a payment alternative as legal tender that will come into effect on September 7 and as we know that the population of that country is mostly poor but with a powerful ally that it will be BTCitcoin.
248  Other / Archival / Re: Global Crypto Adoption Has Grown By 880% on: August 21, 2021, 11:41:24 PM
Venezuela occupies position 7. I am Venezuelan and I do not understand how my country has not shown a little progress. The answer is likely to be how oil production in Venezuela has been in decline due to sanctions, lack of budget for refineries to operate at their magnitude and despite having the largest oil reserve in the world 303,806.0.
Venezuelans need a bit of initiative, they should also be educated to include bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in their economies, but the government has failed there.
249  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you be able to take an additional work if required? on: August 21, 2021, 11:19:31 PM
In my country, Venezuela, people do anything to survive as the informal economy: They sell food, confectionery, vegetables, fruits, eggs, chicken and meats, everything looks like a mobile market due to the economic crisis we are experiencing and of course the Covid19.

Also people are starting their own business like selling clothes, shoes, handbags, a variety of things. As well as the confectionery, barbershop and hairdresser.
In relation to the tourism sector, it is a source of income that has also been devastated by Covid19 as has happened in other countries.

Tourism is heading towards national parks such as Morrocoy, Los Roques Archipelago, Mochima, Canaima, which are the four great parks visited by tourists.

For my part, I do remote work doing social media marketing for a crypto platform.

This achievement is thanks to our perseverance because bitcoin was first taken by ordinary people and then came the great Institutions and Investors. Let's not lose faith bitcoin is on the right track.

251  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin losing its purpose? on: August 21, 2021, 10:11:04 PM
Peer-to-Peer without the involvement of a bank. It is the most valuable thing we have, although when we practice P2P we are buying and selling Fiat in exchange for bitcoin, the bank entities do not participate even though we make use of our bank accounts. Today for us it is our preferred medium, it is included in our lifestyle.
In relation to the prohibition of bitcoin, China will not achieve it, there are many Chinese buying cryptocurrencies despite all the prohibitions.
252  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Walmart hiring ad raises bitcoin price to $48,000 on: August 21, 2021, 09:57:33 PM
If this were the case but it is not, it is purely coincidental that the price of bitcoin skyrockets due to a store known as Walmart posting a job offer in search of a blockchain expert in order to include the payment method with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

I am happy with the news because bitcoin will be more known and those who have not tried to access money without the power of centralism, will have the opportunity to know the benefits of investing in bitcoin and how powerful it is to send money around the world without barriers as a example.
It is a satisfying experience to see how Bitcoin advances in these new stages in which institutions are embracing bitcoin.
253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some individuals hostile to Bitcoin? on: August 21, 2021, 09:23:05 PM
People are hostile to bitcoin because accessing it is through technology, volatility, and because these people are used to banks.
Sometimes it is difficult to move from the known to the unknown. Also the anti-bitcoin speech can influence to want to interest them bitcoin.

However, I remain hopeful that this year we will take a longer step so that bitcoin reaches more nations in the world, if the institutions do not embrace bitcoin, people will take the initiative as it has been happening from the first moment.
254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world? on: August 21, 2021, 09:08:02 PM
OP, poses a fair question in our crypto space, that of meeting the richest person in the world through bitcoin.

Perhaps we are not close to the annual list published by the American business magazine Forbes. For example the richest man is Jeff Bezos with $ 177 billion.

Also according to Forbes the richest men who have invested in their crypto businesses.

Brian armstrong
Net worth: $ 6.5 billion

Sam Bankman-Fried
Net worth: $ 4.5 billion

Chris Larsen
Net worth: $ 2.9 billion

Michael Saylor
Net worth: $ 2 billion

Changpeng Zhao ("CZ")
Net worth: $ 1.9 billion

To name a few, this list represents the 2020 stats we will likely see Michael Saylor improve his rating in this category for next year.

The big investments in bitcoin barely happened in those last two years, it is only the beginning and they will be noticed very soon.

255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't give your bitcoins to scammers on: August 21, 2021, 08:06:54 PM
It's right! Greed and ignorance leads people to fall into these groups of scammers.
They always act with promises of offering great profit margins to your Bitcoin.
They also act announcing Giveaway on behalf of Elon Musk, the Tyler twins and Cameron Winklevos. Many times I find them on Twitter and reports them as spam with content with malicious links.

We have to talk about this over and over again so that people are educated, in the Crypto space you always have to learn every day and on our part we can provide knowledge to the newbies.
256  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reeee: Joe Biden is President of the United States on: August 21, 2021, 06:48:36 AM
I agree that the rescue plan that Joe Biden implemented when he assumed the Presidency of the United States was the best. He had to attend to the economic crisis and the unemployment of many American citizens.
The plan was able to serve people with the greatest financial problems as a result of the pandemic.
We all know that it has not been easy to face an economic crisis where health is at stake.

Now Joe Biden is criticized for a phrase that said that the Taliban take power was "unlikely", I think his statement was not clear, apparently Biden was taken by surprise by the power of the Taliban in Afghanistan.
257  Other / Politics & Society / Re: I beat the China virus.. I think.. on: August 21, 2021, 05:49:20 AM
Greetings, OP.
First of all, I would like to congratulate you on being a winner for having overcome this terrible disease that hits the whole world, such as Covid19.

It is certainly a very hard and devastating experience.
I am currently living the case of a friend who is struggling between life and death due to Covid19 in the Capital City of my Country Venezuela.

Situations often lead us to lose hope and courage, but as long as we have faith first in God, so we can see that little light shine in the middle of how dark the road is.

The symptoms or reactions that you are currently feeling can be considered by the health process you faced. Certainly the confinement and being away from society and your family has led you to feel bad both physically and emotionally.

With reference to health, the loss of smell and taste are alternate symptoms to this disease, but that you will recover as your recovery is complete.
Try to stay optimistic about life, if you can do exercises little by little to recover your vitality, you will improve physically and emotionally, try that your diet is rich in vitamins to strengthen the immune system.

It is recommended that you resume your daily activities.
Have frequent conversation with your loved ones.
This will help you progress day after day,

And above all, continue taking biosecurity measures, so that you continue to protect your life and health with the use of the mask, constantly washing your hands, maintaining social distancing, and avoiding crowds.
You must continue taking care of yourself and continue taking advantage of this opportunity that life gave you again.
258  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Afghanistan fall into a prolonged state of war again? on: August 21, 2021, 12:17:50 AM
Very good question OP, and of great relevance to this current situation. It is true that the Afghan army has 350,000 trained personnel.
While the Taliban only have 85,000 fighters and the vast majority are not trained for this.

One of the actions for which the government of Afghanistan did not act against this group of terrorists occurred through the government itself and its president.
We see the case of its former President Asharf Ghani, who said that his departure from the country was to avoid a massacre.
It is believed that because of this initiative the Afghan army did not act, to avoid mortality in the country.

It is also believed that it may be due to the agreement signed in Doha, Qatar. For the former President of the United Studies Donald Trump with the Taliban, who sought the agreement to safeguard the security of the United States and the agreement to bring peace in Afghanistan.
Although the visible result for the moment has been the fall of the Afghan government and the fear that the Taliban will restore the regime that they imposed in Afghanistan before the invasion of the West.
259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: August 20, 2021, 11:38:46 PM
The worst time that humanity has lived is the current Covid19 pandemic. Fortunately and thank God we are surpassing it, in addition to the crypto community, new investors in bitcoin have realized that they can trust the best reserve asset such as bitcoin.

We have seen many tests that recognize bitcoin as a good asset to invest, to grow technologically in short, many things can be achieved with bitcoin.

Wells Fargo recently caught my eye by announcing its new mutual fund plan that will function as Passive Bitcoin funds for its wealthiest clients. I would like to add that Wells Fargo has to do it in order to innovate technologically because if it doesn't do it, someone else will get ahead of it.

We are witnessing the best of Bitcoin and it is just the beginning. What Wells Fargo's wealthiest customers will experience some of us have already experienced, the Satoshi project practically worked.

Now it is up to the big banks of the world and then all the banking will come, no matter if it is prestigious or basic, they will also enter our ecosystem of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ban, mission impossible on: August 20, 2021, 11:20:05 PM
Thank God that there is freedom, the reason why each of us can decide and choose to invest in bitcoin regardless of whether it is prohibited in our countries.

Bitcoin has come to the people first, from the first moment the Bitcoin whitepaper was released on October 31, 2008 and it marked the beginning of our freedom allowing us to survive with it if we had no money.

Peer-to-Peer or P2P is a powerful resource and we must use it as long as necessary to make it popular so that more people can solve their money problems with bitcoin and the crypto space.

Quote
"A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution."
