501  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't find any flaws for BTC except this one... on: May 21, 2021, 05:26:25 PM
No, Elon Musk is Satoshi not even in his dream. It is obvious that there is nervousness that comes from investors around the world who worry about financial regulations emanating from the powers of centralization.

I have seen investors like those who sell so fast at the first pressure are called "weak hands" and other stronger ones who know that bitcoin is the one who makes the cryptocurrency market prevail and the power of decentralization.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China bans Bitcoin again in 2021 on: May 21, 2021, 04:30:07 PM
There are several indications of the ban of bitcoin in China. Everything points to Inner Mongolia as cnbc and other media had reported months ago.

If the problem is environmental, Why not work on it?

Mongolia is also accused of falsifying its energy consumption reports. In addition to this, the concern of the financial regulators of the Chinese nation about the high risk implied by the volatility of bitcoin, ethereum, dogecoin, etc., which has been more notable in recent days.

Quote
https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2021/03/02/china-bitcoin-mining-hub-to-shut-down-cryptocurrency-projects.html

Inner Mongolia, located in northern China, failed to meet central government assessment targets regarding energy use in 2019 and was scolded by Beijing. In response, the region's development and reform commission laid out plans to reduce energy consumption.

Part of those plans involve shutting down existing cryptocurrency mining projects by April 2021 and not approving any new ones. They also involve reassessing other energy-intensive industries like steel and coal.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Latest FUD from Elon Musk: Tesla Has Diamond Hands on: May 19, 2021, 11:48:48 PM
This was the most sensible answer I found in Elon Musk's tweet. Peter Schiff and his son Spencer Schiff also commented. Obviously Peter always did it with his ironic tone when referring to bitcoin.

Reply to Elon Musk by Preston Pysh.

No one person can make or break #Bitcoin. Elon can tweet everyday for the rest of the year & it won't change the fundamentals of full nodes that enforce the consensus of the protocol. His emotional volatility of him only makes the network stronger whether he's for it or against it.

It is obvious that the recognized volatility is demonstrated on the scene but the dominance of bitcoin in the market is superior to any other coin.
Let's keep calm. There is still a long way to go.
504  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone worried about the recent decline of BTC? on: May 19, 2021, 11:32:06 PM
Not only is it bitcoin, it is the entire cryptocurrency market that has fallen by at least 30% of its value.
Now is the time for developers to draw among their objectives that their projects be eco-friendly, I also think it would be one of their best features.
Bitcoin is proving that if everyone wants to win, it must be the first to do so.
Bitcoin forever and hodl we have no alternative, the system was designed like that.
505  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: May 19, 2021, 11:10:27 PM
If everyone has their own digital currency. This means that we have advanced in time and the blockchain era is booming. I would not talk about everyone but I do think that all the nations of the world should have their own digital currency to improve the management of the economy of their citizens.
I believe that it is more feasible that it happens at some point and also that citizens have the opportunity to choose what will benefit them in the future.
506  Economy / Economics / Re: Economical Politics by an insane guy is the reason for this crash! on: May 19, 2021, 10:44:45 PM
Even though we are buying his cheapest bitcoin. It is not appropriate to have a large investor like Elon Musk changing his mind like changing shirts. I always thought that Elon had more interest in doge than in bitcoin honestly. Between joke and joke he demonstrated it. Speaking in another answer, our thinking towards bitcoin should not change even if you have a good dominance in the 42% market. Michael Saylor is taking advantage of the dips he is a good defender of bitcoin forever.
Jack in one of his most recent tweets says:

#bitcoin changes * everything *… for the better.

And we will forever work to make bitcoin better.

https://twitter.com/jack/status/1393310054355451904?s=19

Which means that bitcoin will prevail there will be plans that will make bitcoin better and use cases more important.

Although with everything I have experienced with bitcoin it has been useful for me at all times.
507  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you see yourself quitting after this bullrun? on: May 15, 2021, 11:39:29 PM
Obviously not! I have learned a lot in this forum in believing in bitcoin we must also recognize that we are a community with great defenders who do not give up bitcoin.
Weak hands will always be there but those who pursue an ideal there will be with bitcoin forever.

508  Economy / Economics / Re: Our boss and employer are money on: May 15, 2021, 11:21:16 PM
As we do not all think and feel the same. There are people who do a job for the money they are going to earn as well as there are others who love to work without knowing how much they will earn. The dedication to the work makes their efforts more valued and therefore receive a better reward.
Sometimes society gives us no better alternative than to work on what we can and not on what we want.
509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Two brothers who became millionaires with cryptocurrency on: May 15, 2021, 11:09:45 PM
Shiba's ATH occurred on May 10
0.00003791 today the price has decreased by 57.9% 0.00001596. A risky and lucky investment from these guys. If the investment was made on April 17, the price of Shiba was 0.00000194.
Indicators according to Coingecko.

LOL! A fleeting investment.
I perceive on Twitter that people are looking to make a fortune when the price of coins is pumping.
I am glad that the guys think about helping their parents and also that they know how to take advantage of their earnings.
510  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy comunism: Venezuela raises monthly minimum wage to $2.40 on: May 15, 2021, 10:16:59 PM

...

Another thing @The Pharmacist was asking was whether there has been an adoption of cryptos in Venezuela. I remember seeing news that said yes, but I would like to hear about your experience. Also, I guess what you earn from the signature campaign will help quite a bit. I have checked the campaign spreadsheet and I see that you will be earning about $20-25 per week, which is not much but I imagine that in Venezuela it is a blessing.

The videos you have seen about the adoption of cryptocurrencies in Venezuela is true. But it is only happening in the main cities of the country and in some commercial businesses.

We have important leaders who are working to grow the crypto community in Venezuela. As an example:

Mariangel
Community manager for Latin America at Binance.
https://twitter.com/justmariangel

Ernesto Contreras
Head of business development Dashpay for Latin America
https://twitter.com/ernestocontrer

To know firsthand how our community grows in Venezuela and Latin America Binance Español is the best place to observe.

https://twitter.com/Binance_Spanish

Another proof is this job offer by Binance in search of Community Manager for Venezuela.

https://jobs.lever.co/binance/60e6c858-b2dc-410f-96f4-d9232933390a

With my income from the Signature campaign I am testing to see if it is possible to save for my 12 and 13 year old nephews. 😊
511  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation speeds up in April as consumer prices leap 4.2%, fastest since 2008 on: May 14, 2021, 11:56:00 PM
I agree with OP! The effect of inflation was expected to happen, as much was said last year and we are already beginning to notice the indicators in the USA.
Fortunately in that country the vaccination program against Covid19 has been a success as we have seen recently in the news media. "People who are fully vaccinated against Coronavirus can stop wearing masks indoors, with some limitations."
With this good news, the economy will re-activate with better momentum to avoid the negative effects of the recession.
512  Economy / Economics / Re: Vitalik Buterin donated billions to India to fight Covid-19 crisis on: May 14, 2021, 11:29:22 PM
Good action on the part of Vitalik to make a generous donation to India that it currently needs to relieve its citizens who suffer from Covid19.
From these aid initiatives I see that
India in the future could be more flexible for the adoption of cryptocurrencies in the country.

It also strikes me that the donation was made with another coin. If my thinking is correct, each donation will be exchanged to Fiat and for the large amount Vitalik preferred it to be with a growing coin like Shiba so as not to affect the price of ethereum.

513  Economy / Economics / Re: On the future of Cryptocurrencies on: May 14, 2021, 11:04:05 PM
In my opinion the Banks will not disappear, they will prevail because they are Institutions that back the currencies we spend.
Banks are losing the interest of investors and savers. Every day we see how more people prefer to invest in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Visa and Master Card are joining forces with the development of their technology to offer the service to the holders of cryptocurrencies.
514  Economy / Economics / Re: The change in buying and selling in society is the effect of the internet on: May 14, 2021, 10:46:11 PM
Yes, it may be the case that people become more lazy with the use of the Internet.
But in others not, when your lifestyle is active like shopping, going to the gym, hairdressing and other activities, you use the internet as your source of work and you don't get lazy.
You are only moving your workplace to home as an example the business of virtual stores or the business of the electronic market.
515  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy comunism: Venezuela raises monthly minimum wage to $2.40 on: May 14, 2021, 10:16:55 PM
...

Are you from Venezuela @verita1? You seem to at least know well the country.

Thank you Poker Player for giving me 1 Merit. I wanted to make a quote to The Pharmacist and I couldn't.

I must also thank you for the interest in creating a thread about my country.
In relation to the Venezuelan minimum wage, each year on May 1st it is customary to hear about an increase.
I can only tell you that among families we collaborate to cover the expenses of those who need the most.

A look at how the Venezuelan approaches dollarization can be checked here:

516  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin decline is not related ONLY to Elon Musk! Binance is also related to it! on: May 14, 2021, 12:56:21 PM
I am not worried about this news, because Bitcoin has been attacked in all trenches and has remained undefeated. Since its birth we have seen it and it will not make us recline a single step now.

The Binance case should be solved in the best way and the truth should come out. Fortunately I did my KYC on Binance last month and I didn't have any problems. I would like to apply for the advanced KYC to check for such issues that are mentioned by affected users. I often see user complaints about any problem on Binance and wonder why it happens? As I said luckily Binance works 100% for me.

Elon Musk speechless.

On the other hand, there is a special power of conviction that Michael Saylor has that makes me stay calm. Let's continue victorious on our crypto journey.

517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla destroys bitcoin :-[ on: May 13, 2021, 11:54:54 PM
Some argue that Elon was pressured to say that "Tesla has suspended vehicle purchases using bitcoin."
Motivating the price of bitcoin to drop so that companies buy bitcoin at a lower price.
Bitcoin has already gotten used to these moods. We often search the news to find out what's new to understand these price drops.

In my opinion we must be aware that if a lot of money is made with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies we must demand the use of the most environmentally friendly networks, we need to act against the effects of climate change and support the leaders of this cause so that the planet is the big winner.
518  Economy / Economics / Re: Causes of downtown in the modern Economy on: May 13, 2021, 11:35:08 PM
Covid19 is the great trigger that exacerbated the economic crisis. But the world economy is following its course at a slow pace and limitations because the working mass has been reduced because strategies for 50% work were devised.
For example, tourism is one of the sectors most affected in this crisis of the pandemic, transport such as airlines, among others.
I think it will cost us to lift the economy, especially in countries where the virus has hit hard.
519  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you aware of Shrinkflation? on: May 13, 2021, 11:20:52 PM
OMG! This is what happened in my country, Venezuela, little by little we saw drastic changes in the products of the supermarkets.
Obviously the situation in my country is different but it is finally inflation.
I wish that the situation in your country is short and that it does not last for a long time.
What can be seen is that large industrialists are trying to maintain their products to avoid losses and maintain jobs.
520  Economy / Economics / Re: Year 2021-2022 will be very Good and very Bad. on: May 13, 2021, 10:48:53 PM
What I can contribute is that OP is right that we should educate ourselves and that has been true forever.
Although we have had to live in a pandemic, we must not disregard these duties, which is education and work.
It is not necessary to strive to be rich, it is only necessary to love life and work.
If we take care of ourselves because the situation warrants it, we will be victorious to continue with the challenges of life.
