241  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: calculating fees to purchase BTC to match USD on: May 09, 2019, 05:21:53 PM
I asked for $450, got an offer for .06618674 btc which comes to $397.15....im $53 short.  This does not include the miners fee which they take out at the end, causing another shortage.

I am not understanding the above sentence, Did you paid $450 to get .06618674  BTC?  This does not make sense to me that you purchase BTC to pay for a service that in the end paid by you by using combination of both.
242  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance lost $40.7 million to hackers, which exchange is next!!! on: May 09, 2019, 04:47:34 PM
Binance API keys have problem and this is the first time they accepted it. There API keys were hacked earlier too.

243  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos, I Suggest A New Section of Bitcointalk for 'Blockchain Developments' on: May 09, 2019, 04:18:06 PM
It's like saying without Bitcoin and the blockchain, none of these systems - banks, IBM and the likes would have come out of ice age; therefore a strong fundamental for Bitcoin.

The way currently "blockchain" is used as buzzword without making anything useful (and in most case used for scamming money) does not make any strong fundamental for BTC.

Re look at Australian Securities Exchange article, it does not contain any basic details like what is current problem is in system and how new "blockchain" platform will solve it but you look excited because it contain buzzword "blockchain".

There was demand for creation for "Project Development" Board in Altcoin section and I support the creation of that board.

It's a meaningless fad.
+1

None of these corporations are getting out of the 'ice age' unless they adopt Bitcoin. Not 'blockchain'.
Entertaining anything else lends them some hope, which is unrealistic and unkind.
They all have their own agenda of having their own blockchain and it is very unlikely they will adopt bitcoin.
244  Other / Meta / Re: Where can I get the reason for deleting a post? on: May 09, 2019, 03:57:12 PM
Recently, my post got deleted. Where can I get the reason for deletion? Should I message moderator to know this? Please assist me.

Read the rules here, you might find the reason on you own. If still you are perplexed and it is bothering you too much then you can create the topic here.

Do not post on spam and low quality threads because they got trashed and will cause reduction in your post count.(no matter how good was your post.)
245  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Business Loan or Investment Partnership on: May 09, 2019, 03:42:23 PM
What is your business email?

</thread>

A very valid question.

You are welcome to analyse your business plan or proposal,

This is not making any sense.
246  Other / Meta / Re: Paying someone for posting on ANN thread is against the forum rule or not? on: May 09, 2019, 03:28:55 PM
I do not see any rules here that says paid ANN bumping is prohibited.

I guess it is frowned by community because it is generally used for shilling and promoting scam projects.
247  Other / Meta / Re: Login in the forum using your Finger Print on: May 09, 2019, 02:24:18 PM
How would it know which of my alts to use? Smiley

You still need to put the username there.

But I am wondering if your fingerprint data is copied then you lost the access from all accounts here. What will happen if you have injured your finger.
248  Economy / Services / Re: [HIRING] Looking to HIRE a Signature Bounty Manager for Temtum. Who's the BEST? on: May 09, 2019, 02:03:14 PM
check this out Hhampuz Campaign Management | Available Now!

BTC paying signature campaign would be nice.

Thanks, have sent a message.

Ok will see what we can do. Are good ones lacking at the moment?

No, There is no lacking of good bounty managers. Here you find the list of managers.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4412712.msg39280543#msg39280543

Since you messaged Hhampuz , so I guess you wait for the reply.

PS: In reality many good bounty managers do not accept ICO as ICO have high risk of turning scams and they like to be paid in BTC/or some established coin. They will likely to reject the offer of ICO tokens.
249  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List your tokens for FREE on: May 08, 2019, 03:34:38 PM
In the existing link, there is no ann or official website How is it possible to exchange your valuable tokens Whereas to check prices or existing rules and regulations cannot be seen from Ann, Frankly this is Confuse you,

You still did not get it?
This is a scam exchange.

250  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How did you get scammed? on: May 08, 2019, 03:05:46 PM
Look like most of here got scammed in HYIP ,bitcoin doubler.

I will categorize it as that most are not able to control the greed.

People scammed in lending because they trusted too much.

For Bounty hunters , yes you are scammed of your and you are used to scam others. I do not think if  I will think of promoting any ICO, IEO, STO or so on.

Till now , I do not see any complex setup is used by scammer in any story. I guess most user are careless/off guard when they were scammed.
251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin’s biggest mystery soon be revealed? on: May 07, 2019, 03:01:33 PM
I am not looking forward for any kind of revelation and nor I am going to believe any one. If somebody sign the message from the satoshi wallet   then it will be a different story altogether.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Major technical companies and Crypto on: May 07, 2019, 02:41:59 PM
They are not interested in crypto currencies and I guess they created it to counter the popularity of coins like BTC and ETH.
In general , I guess many become happy by holding their generated coins and will never understand the purpose of BTC creation.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is not that bad as stated on: May 07, 2019, 02:38:05 PM
- there is a 3rd party validator for the project (Exchange)

Exchange do not guarantee the success of project and even legit project can fail.

- you know for sure the first exchange where the project will be listed. This can help you to decide if it worth investing or not

Interesting, so you decide the project worth where the project will be listed instead of what is project is intended to do.

Look like lot of people are trusting exchange too much.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn XLM crypto by answering daily life questions on crypto, movies, travel etc. on: May 07, 2019, 02:19:38 PM
So does it means that I need to pay if I want to ask the question and there is possibility of getting paid by replying?

Most of the answers can be easily searched by DYOR and I guess any sane user will like to ask them in quora for free.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Microsoft launches the Azure Blockchain Development Kit for Ethereum on: May 07, 2019, 02:12:13 PM
Those who are still skeptical of crypto, I am not going to comment on them.
But as a technology front it is well recognized and accepted by even Industry leaders. Latest Microsoft launched the Azure Blockchain Development Kit for Ethereum
256  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Quadriga CEO death, Is it new scam in crypto on: May 06, 2019, 02:29:18 PM
Once again it proved that you cannot keep your money in exchange. It is another debate whether the CEO is faking death or he had really died.
I am feeling sorry for the people who lost money.
Why would someone want to fake their own death in a world of great technological advancement? I doubt this is likely because the CEO will be sniffed out if that were the case. However, what this has come to confirm (after we witnessed the death of another exchange CEO last year) is that exchanges aren't the best of places to keep one's Cryptos. Own your cryptos yourself by keeping them in wallets you control the Private Keys. Imagine if this happens to the CEO of Binance?

You guys are missing few key points here.

1.Canadian citizen was in visit to India.
2.Dead body was never been back to Canada.
3.Instead they acquired death certificate from one of the state in India.
4. It is not impossible in India to get your death certificate even when you are alive.
5. He did not planned any "backup continuity plan" for the company but he planned everything for his family just couple of months before his alleged death.

258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is "Satoshi Nakamoto" secretly mining BCH ??? on: May 06, 2019, 11:25:44 AM
Somebody who is owning the 1 million stash of BTC is mining BCH and not touching its own BTC?

Satoshi can just get 1 million BCH by claiming the fork and there is no need to mine BCH.
259  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos is it true that you forced OG to remove Laudas tagg ? on: May 06, 2019, 11:16:30 AM
Some DT members claim you forced OG to remove Laudas negative tag or he would get blacklisted.

I guess this lies solely on Theymos whom he decide to blacklist in DT.
So whatever is happening between 2 DT , do not compel theymos to do anything until theymos himself wishes to blacklist the users.

I thought you are not interacting with members feedback ?
Till now , I did not read anywhere that theymos interfered .

Now OP, this is regarding your other thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5139852.0

I like to remind you , if you are going to act on that thread then you are going to break the forum rules.

2. It is not allowed to post someone's dox if it is especially obvious that you're just using the dox as a weapon. For example, if there are no remotely-plausible trade complaints, then the person can't be a scammer, and their dox should not be posted.
260  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Financial value of KYC verification on: May 06, 2019, 11:02:50 AM
Hello, I would like to ask:
1. For how many dollars could you give someone KYC verification?

Tough question, but I decided against KYC for Polymath Token that was around $250 at that time.

2. Do you know what value our KYC has for companies (such as Coinbase), why do they pay for it? They sell them to someone?

Thanks

I hope o_e_l_e_o  has the right numbers.

Anyways you should avoid giving your KYC document to anybody if you are not sure about the businesses.
