241  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Trading Cycles on: April 01, 2019, 05:59:48 PM
It is not a very shocking deal that bitcoin goes up and down that frequently the reason is it is neither willing to go down but not strong enough to go back up. Now if you want to go back up to 4200 and above you need to spend a lot of money, however if you want to go back down than you gotta go back down a lot and bitcoin doesn't want to do that (well at least people who hold bitcoins) which means sellers are fine with this price but not lower. That is why bitcoin goes up and down in hourly charts very frequently on a small scale, nothing huge of course but for that type of pricing it is seriously major for bitcoin right now since whichever direction it ends up going more than it will go even further so we are still debating (with our trades) on which direction we will go.
242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: April 01, 2019, 04:03:06 PM
I don't think we can consider it the future just yet. IEO has the advantage over the trading part of a coin, which is a very very important part because whatever is dealt in the IEO will certainly get into the exchange as well sooner or later, an exchange that does the IEO of a new coin will not just disallow trading, they will add it as soon as possible.

Moreover, the missing part is when you do IEO you are making sure the company has a very volatile days on the early stages and coins that do not just promise a lot of money but offers you more stuff (mainly tech based) will not focus on the price, they will focus on the future.

Something like ADA for example is irrelevant to the price, they are good and they are doing a great job and the price is not really important, its amazing if it goes up but even if it doesn't the project is not being done for becoming rich and those guys will continue using ICO or possibly STO now.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in ICOs decreased by 5800% on: April 01, 2019, 02:12:16 PM
Once again a topic created by someone who has zero math skills whatsoever. Like many people here said something can only decease 100% not 5800%, lets look at the real results and how bright the ICO future is. If you check icobench you will be capable of seeing that last year during the peak months the highest we have went is 1.1 billion in a month, it has gone down as far as 300 million dollars before and this month it looks as if it was dropping to under 300 million dollars as well.

Moreover, if we look at how many successful ones are out there the number was 186 and now its 78, so its not that much of a difference in funded projects as the price, the difference is people are just funding the ones that they like and not everything they find. Which is why I think ICO world has a bright future.
244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Efficient exchange? on: April 01, 2019, 06:37:11 AM
I want to ask, according to your experience of the many existing cryptocurrency exchanges. Which is the cheapest? And fast in transactions. Please give your opinion here. Thank you so much for all.
I don't really get what you are trying to refer about when you talk cheap and fastest, because most of the exchange in existence actually carry out transaction in same speed, it just depends on the order that has been placed by another user on that exchange since trading is peer to peer, though for transaction fee, I can say that binance is a good one to check out because they don't just have a very low trading fees, but they also have a very secured platform which is very good for traders due to the fact that we have seen how a lot of exchanges have been hacked.

In my view, efficiency of an exchange should be measured in terms of liquidity and availability of trading pairs. I assume no single exchange could cover all the available crypto coins and tokens hence at least liquidity must determine their efficiency.
245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are you favourite Indicators for trading? on: March 31, 2019, 07:51:51 AM
Even I am not an active trader, I am familiar of few technical analysis indicators and strategies. I usually use candle stick chart along with 100 days moving average. I have checked many times that combination of 100 days and 200 days moving averages may get us accurate trend changes. Moreover, all these are all good only for long term trading as I believe no indicators is good enough to predict instantly any sudden change of market conditions.

Indicators may trap us due to "noise" or "minor trend changes" and this is the reason we should use them with higher "time-frame". If you use indicators with smaller time-frame then trading without stop-loss is recommended to skip unnecessary panic and losses.
246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Binance crash/freeze regularly for anyone else? on: March 30, 2019, 03:16:22 PM
I never had any issues like this on binance before but I wouldn't be shocked to find out neither. I mean they have like a zillion customers now and their data storage could go as high as they can implement it whereas customer number keeps rising a lot faster.

After a certain point I expected the numbers to slow down but its obviously not. Volume is at great heights compared to their competition as well so they do have a lot on their plate about it.

Right now, all I can say is that if you are having those sort of issues maybe try it on another computer, I know browser and even same browser but incognito usually solves these issues but if not than the problem could be the computer, try it on another PC and see if it happens again, I mean we are all using and not having that issue so it could be the PC.
247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here we are! lovers' of bullish trend. on: March 30, 2019, 02:40:53 PM
Bull is not something like this at all. People keep mistaking a bit of increase and bull and it is so annoying. You do not call a 500 bucks increase a bull, certainly not couple hundred. Bull is when the trend is going upwards constantly day after day like the 2017 December huge run, even if that stopped at 10k it would have been a bull run because we increased like a thousand a day for many days and that is what bull is.

In order to call what we have a bull we need to go to 4.5k first, than 5k than 5.5k than 6k and so forth for at least a week, after that it will increase itself anyway and it will be a bull. We are in a stable market right now, this is stagnant and stable, we go up a bit but we go down a bit and we constantly do that and that 's stable market not bull market.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🚀✅🆕💯🔝 How cryptocurrency has changed your life? 🔝💯🆕✅🚀 on: March 29, 2019, 03:38:16 PM
Oh it has changed mine so much that I can't really thank the crypto currency world enough. I used to work a regular job with uncanny hours, like one day I would get off work at midnight and wake up at 05:30 in the morning to go back to my new shift and all that, it was horrible and I felt like I was destined for much more. However, without really qualifying for anything else I was stuck on that job.

During my time there I started to learn more about bitcoin and crypto and how I could "earn" instead of just buy bitcoin and hope to make money from it. So I quit my job, I figured I had enough money for 4-5 month stretch and I learned stuff that would later serve me in crypto world and now I have been in this for over 3 years, never looked back. I have made every single cent I earned in the past 3 years all thanks to crypto space.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to the Petro? on: March 28, 2019, 09:14:37 PM
I don't really trust projects like this, because no matter how good they try to become, they always end up becoming a scam, I am a victim to this kind of scam and I am not ready to fall victim of any scam platform because I haven't even recovered from the one I fall into which was the popular bitconnect scam that made a lot of persons lose huge amount of money because the admin dumped their coin overnight, as if that wasn't enough, regal coin came with it's own exist scam and I also lost a lot of funds.
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bearish road over? on: March 28, 2019, 03:33:38 PM
Normally on topics like this I say "not sure can't tell" because literally can't tell whats gonna happen next. However, this market has been stable for so long that I feel like the option "the market will stabilize" is already happening for months now.

I know it moves a bit up and bit down but its not a major change, like 3800-4100 and between those numbers so we can't really call them any changes so we can safely assume market has been stable for a while now, it hasn't moved too much in any direction. That is why I feel like that option could be an easy choice, not because I can see the future but because that has happened for a long time now and unless something major happens that will probably be the result for a long time as well.

We need something major to take us out of that stable levels.
251  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen when the stock market crashes? on: March 28, 2019, 02:09:51 PM
Money in the world right now is mostly digital, however money going into bitcoin is not that much digital. For example you can have leverages in stock markets or stuff like that (forex for example) that basically changes hands and something that is already bought could be combined with other bought stuff and it could be bought all again under one name so you bought 100 things and than those 100 things bought together for the 101th purchase however there is 100 things so that 1 is excessive.

Bitcoin is not like that, whatever people have in their bank account is sent directly to exchange and than purchased, which means all 21 million bitcoins when mined will be hold thanks to money that is hard cash not some made up digital numbers system, that is why stock market could crash all it wants, bitcoin will be super safe.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Wallet building help required on: March 28, 2019, 11:13:27 AM
Well, I can see that you used a youtube video in creating the altcoin, like you were told to make changes in the code of the coin, generate new time and even generates a new genesis block for the project but once it's time to make the windows build or even the linux build you begin to see a lot of errors, this is because most of those tutorials are not complete and they want you to pay them before they show you the real way on how to get your coin working.

If your time permits, please drop here the error message you are getting and let me see if I can help.
253  Economy / Gambling / Re: CryptoSlots Now Featuring $10K Crypto Lotto! on: March 27, 2019, 07:53:47 PM
I believe that is what "deposit bonus" literally is in any casino at all. If casinos were like "here if you put 1 btc in you can take out 2 btc out" that would last for probably 10 minutes before we can bankrupt even a bankroll as big as jp morgan. You can have one trillion dollars in your bankroll as a casino and we will still finish it in less than 10 minutes because not only poor and small holders will use that but also whales and huge companies will get in on that until the money dries up.

It is of course different in every casino, some say turn it over 40 times on wagering some say 30 but in the end you need to wager that money multiple times over in order to be able to claim that. And during that time you can probably lose your initial capital but if you are smart enough the rest usually stays.
254  Economy / Gambling / Re: Online Casinos that are blockchain based will have an advantage over those that on: March 27, 2019, 07:20:46 PM
It is just a simple Darwinist approach to online casinos, nothing more. I mean it is like that in any business, if you go to a grocery store and buy stuff there for years and than a new one opens and you see better products and cheaper what do you do? You go to the new place, the old place now faces two choices, either close shop and leave (or sell) or they can just get with the times and be competitive again by selling better products for cheaper.

Online casino and blockchain is exactly like that right now, we had many online casinos before (way before bitcoin was a thing) and now with blockchain it is such a big difference that if you are not using it there is really no point on gambling on your casino neither so either you will start using it or eventually cease to exist.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Dice - why do you play in a particular casino? on: March 27, 2019, 06:48:04 PM
I was wondering recently what makes some of them much more successful than the others. What are your thoughts on that?
[/quote]
Purely depends on the comfort levels. If I am happy with where I am and they are not screwing me than I am most of the time happy. I just wish to continue playing the gambling game whatever that is and not be disturbed, if there are no problems given to me by the casino than I will go with my day very happy about the games I am playing and I am having fun.

Sometimes some casinos create issues like withdrawal or getting hacked or whatever and when there are issues like that it disturbs my fun and at that moment sometimes I wish I never gambled there at all. However, if nothing like that happens than I am a person who is responsible about how to gamble and I do not lose much, I only deposit amounts I am comfortable with and that makes it easier for me to enjoy gambling.
256  Economy / Economics / Re: Why exchanges constantly expose you to the risk of losing your capital. on: March 27, 2019, 05:18:24 PM
I believe those first buys and sells are not really exchanges problem. I mean when you put a new coin on listing there is usually two chances, one is the coin is already listed somewhere else and if you can see the price there you should definitely buy/sell around the same amount, I have seen people buy a coin at around 35 cents when it was listed at 16-17 cents somewhere else already, those people who buy and sell could either be bots or volume bots of the exchange and that is why it should not be cared but even if they are traders than its their own fault to buy and sell at those levels, normally thanks to arbitrage the price should be fixed to the equal numbers after a while. That is why I think the first moments are just out of exchanges hands if you ask me.
257  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin In 2030 on: March 27, 2019, 04:37:38 PM
I just can't think of any other better investment than bitcoin for that long-short period. I call that "long-short" period because it is definitely long in the scale of investments, its over 10 years later so that is definitely long term in almost any case. However it is not long enough that it will be my retirement and it will certainly not be long enough to be valid for my kids. It means there is still questions about bitcoin in the year 2100 for example, because something even better could exist.

Nevertheless, in 2030 there is absolutely no better investment option if you ask me. That is 10 years away and I am sure it will be at least 100k by that point, AT LEAST, that is about x33 increase, can you name me just one thing that will make you x33 in just 10 years? I don't think one exists.
258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to minimise the trading fee? on: March 27, 2019, 04:07:28 PM
I don't know how you can call this legal because it is definitely against their ToS but if you have a friend or so that can become your affiliate or you become theirs that way you can trade on binance and you will be able to trade with low fee if you use binance coin as well.

It means if you use BNB + affiliate that comes down the cheapest trading I can name without really going to the shady looking exchanges, they are really good and the fee levels are really competitive that way. I think the problem is not the trading fee because it is quite cheap anyway, unless you are trading millions everyday you wouldn't feel it. The trouble begins during withdrawal because they charge so much useless coin for withdrawal, with proper lightning network usage they could charge ten times less than what they are charging now.
259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: with market conditions like this, are there any tips for continuing day trading? on: March 27, 2019, 03:26:12 PM
It is really just "whoever uses trends better" at this point. You have to follow up on the trends of the price movements and react to them the best way you can. Bitcoin going down a bit ? Then buy bitcoin when the going down stops. Bitcoin going up a bit ? Then you have to sell bitcoins when it stops going up. That way you can literally make money to the fullest during this time period.

It is certainly not a daily thing and it is not day trading but it s quite short term trading and you can do it couple times a month easily, probably like 4-5 times a month which is really good enough for this market situation. You can't hope to make profits daily on a market that is this much stagnant, it is not moving enough to make it a valid day trading opportunity for the traders.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EO: Risks Come With You Should Know on: March 26, 2019, 11:33:04 AM
Crypto adopters are assuming after IEO, that "due diligence" part is no more required and would contribute to initial offering blindly as some "reputed" exchange will take care of those things. But, practically IEO may start looking similar to ICO. I mean we cannot relay exchanges for long duration as already they are known for faking volumes now why not they will hide some information for their IEO clients ?

Moreover, IEO sounds like centralized way of crowdfunding whereas when ICO was conducted here in this forum, we can be sure that it was done through community contribution hence decentralization was followed. Centralized things will not sustain Cool.
