1221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: July 21, 2018, 02:34:37 PM
People this days wants fast money and thus they think that gambling is the best source as you do not have to do anything just play any of the games and you can either win 100% of the money or lose it . But they forget that mostly they will be on the losing end rather than winning it.
This generation is even so fond of that and gone are the days when the old generation believe in working hard and smart to get to achieve your dreams but now, the younger generation just want to get rich as fast as possible in the ways so appalling that would end them in losing even more than they could afford to lose with gambling being a part of them.

With the way this is going, I just hope we are not going to end up having lazy people with a high level of addiction than those who are ready to work which makes the whole thing with benefit mentioned by the OP just a way to paint black white but does not mean the main color isn't still black.
1222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your favorite game? on: July 21, 2018, 09:47:18 AM
I really like sports betting and dice. Dice because its easy and fast, sports betting because I love NBA and feel like I know a wee bit about it but in the end you will never know for sure who will win.

Aside from those two I would love to play poker but for now I never found a poker website that I feel like I can trust, online gambling is great when you have proof that you are not scammed but on poker there can never be proof like dice. Sports is sports, you see the result live, dice has proof, poker can't have those types of assurence.
I also like sport betting and my first bet in life was on cricket game. The amount was very small but I won the bet and I was very happy to win the bet. I seldom use casinos for gambling because I am not regular gambler and just go there for fun and enjoyment. I gamble little bet but don’t care about lose or win because I never play a lot which is beyond my limits.
Sport betting it is all the way. I have never imagined myself doing so much of real gambling when it comes to dice, poker, and blackjack, name them! They seem more like a lot for me to take in considering the chances of losing is hugely there anyway, which makes it less fun. However, when it comes to sport betting, at least I even tend to enjoy the game a whole lot, with the whole adrenaline rush, wanting to enter the sport game to do it yourself in some instances and how you easily accept an outcome when it comes back not so good.
1223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Walk of Shame on: July 21, 2018, 08:15:06 AM
To be honest, I almost tried to experienced that Walk of Shame thing that you said. This is the time when I am studying in college and my home is like 30-40 kilometers away from my school. I tried to gamble my money and kept up some of my money for the fare in going home. I lost all of my money and the only money that left for me is my fare. I am thinking of gambling it so that I have some money to buy for foods but on the other hand, I am thinking what if I lose it. I will walk. In the end, I didn't gamble my money and I returned home safely.

Don't do what OP has done. Just reserve some of your money for your needs.
You said it like you were actually meaning to give the walk of shame a try. That would not be a walk of shame but a walk of deliberate act of being dumb. A gambler, who gambles everything out of trying to recover losses or not having the strength to control him or her, is actually not a responsible one and the walk of shame will always be imminent.

As long as you are not trying to get what you are not supposed to be looking for in gambling, I do not see why anyone should be experiencing this. Keep trying must be the big reason for all troubles of gambling, this must include all the shames and bad names.
1224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: July 21, 2018, 07:17:53 AM
The other main reason of gambling is that there is a chance of winning big money while having fun with the game. You cant find it in other sources you talk about IMO. It wont cost you a lot if you cant manage yourself in doing it, we cant deny every sources of fun will cost us something no matter money, time or other things. So it is all about our preferences, we should know what we are going to do.
Yeah, there is that chance and there is also the chance of losing big funds based on how you see it anyway. I am more of a sport person and over the years I have been good with doing match analysis for soccer most especially.

It was during this process a friend of mine just told me to stop wasting that and put it into a good use and know as well that all you need is just few amount to win bigger, an amount I could simply dash anyone and then using it to stand a chance of winning something big if my prediction ends up correct sounds cool to me.
1225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more Scam projects on: July 20, 2018, 06:11:25 PM
Yes, there are more and more garbage projects. Even if the market is already very bad, there is no reduction in waste, which is really irritating. However, the participants felt less and less. The fraudster project will not succeed.
It is normal to expect that in an unregulated market.
We all know that a lot of projects are scam but the problem is that a lot of new investors do nothing about it and they still invest in them anyway. As far as I am concerned, as long as these scammers keep seeing that there are so much gullible people in the market looking for quick ways to get rich, there will always keep being scam projects until they start noticing there is nothing for them any more when new investors starts getting wiser. The real unfortunate thing here is, this community is not taking any step against them on protecting the better future of cryptos and its adopters.
1226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO NEO NEO on: July 20, 2018, 05:12:17 PM
In the closed chats there were insides that in the summer NEO will already accurately release the network update, and then the entire FUD can be ignored.
We do not need anything much from insiders to know that when the market recovers, NEO is really going to be giving some good push to the upper side and that I can easily bet on looking at how the devs have been pretty active and doing everything possible to stay on top of their game and give ETH the push.

We have seen so far how it is pretty much growing very fast, so I guess we are going to be having some pretty good movement upward in some weeks or months time. Almost all the altcoins found a heavy dump today but fortunately bitcoin is staying stronger. All the altcoins may follow the bitcoin's trend in coming days probably.
1227  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: July 20, 2018, 03:19:13 PM
I agree with that, stupidity tend not to think well so they can do harm. but stupidity has many meanings, not all stupidity is close to poverty.
If we really want to face it, we all have equal opportunity in a way to do something’s for ourselves based on what we feel we can do. A lot of people just always like looking for different excuses as to how nature is so bent on making them poor, and sure, some may actually have tried and failed, but does not mean they just have to stop trying.

Life is not a bed of roses and it is how you lay your bed you definitely will sleep on it. So, one way or the other, being poor or being rich is a choice, it depends on which you want to take based on how smart you can take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way.
1228  Economy / Economics / Re: What are your plans for the next 5 years in Finance? on: July 20, 2018, 07:11:38 AM
I want to have "Passive Income"
I will raise capital to build a business that can provide me with passive income, so in my old age I do not need to work to earn money, how about you?
do you have an idea to build a business that can provide passive income with minimal capital?

If you can handle by yourself to build such a business that might your passion and can support your financial then go! You may also do Investment like In crypto or In a stock exchange, If you dont want to be hassle to earn money through your own capital.
My plan for as long as cryptocurrency still remaining is just to be a long term investor.
This makes it easy to hold on to some potential coins, trade them based on trend, make huge profit from them while buying back even more lower and so on.

This is a plan I believe that would make me to easily diversify into other areas outside cryptocurrency, while still retaining that great long term position. This is a space that is going to evolve even better than this and I guess this is going to be a turnaround for a lot of us financial by then.
1229  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: July 20, 2018, 04:59:10 AM
Thats closely true fact as I have seen my parents doing that all the time. They always try to buy gold whenever the prices for them are dipping a little.

Well they are now old and they have seen the gold pricing at half of what it is today! So they believe in its continuous growth and who would agree upon that.

I have also read one article where it does mention that the Gold rate always increase by around 7-9% each year and its so true this year as well since the gold prices has soared up a lot.

May be they have seen the real profits (and stable) thats why they invest in it.
I would not blame them and if I am in their shoes at their age, I would rather be considering less risky investments when they only have few times left anyway and I always see them as still living in a borrowed age. As per their experience they do still consider gold and silver are consistent performers in terms of sustaining storage of value and due to gaining decent returns for the capital.

Even some young guys find it hard to catch up with how fast things are going technologically, let alone, older generations that their brains will find it very hard to even absorb how things are being down technologically, and would rather not want to take too much risk.
1230  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading or Holding Cryptocurrency for long time on: July 19, 2018, 06:57:46 AM
Considering the present market situation, which one will be more benefiting whether Daily trading or holding cryptocurrency for long time? Please let me know.
If you are referring to day trading or short term trading, it all depends on you as those balls down to the knowledge you have about trading. I am sure most traders would not really be bothering much about the current market considering how volatile it currently is and if you are actually considering short term at least, then you really want to be knowledgeable on how you can handle yourself in the market so you do not get screwed.

Most people have supported long term holding for maximum returns in various discussions. I am also suggesting you to follow holding for years to get big returns for your capital. But, you must be careful while choosing your coins otherwise simply holding them for years will not make you rich.
1231  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: SECRET OF TRADING on: July 19, 2018, 06:16:40 AM
as beginners should start with bitcoin, because it can know the history of bitcoin prices in the last few years, it also anticipates the risk of big loss for beginners and also as a beginner do not trade long, because most beginners only think big profit, all must start from zero. little by little so as to have a pretty good experience to trade in the future, to get more profit, all of us here as well as beginners just think big profits, little profit but konsistan get more profit
Beginners should start with the book and not with bitcoin. In fact, for a market as bitcoin, it is more of a matured market than most other altcoins, and you really want to know what you are doing in terms of knowledge when it comes to trading such market.

To trade any market effectively, analysis is so much needed and this is something no one can achieve without learning which makes book very important for success in trading. If there is some secrets hidden in trading means then that should be the learning process. Most lazy people miss it out and crying by blaming the behavior of markets.
1232  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term vs. Long term investments on: July 19, 2018, 05:29:02 AM
Yes, if I think we have a good long-term investment Bitcoin.Karena I have gained a lot of profit in Bitcoin in long-term investment I realize that if I make short-term investments, I sometimes get lost from my capital so I never invest in the short term in coins Bitcoin.
Short term investment or trading is not for everyone as that requires a whole lot of knowledge anyway and you will really want to know what you are doing in those short periods, so you do not get screwed most of the time. For those without knowledge, there is always going to be a huge chance of getting somehow emotional and even greedy at times when it comes to making decision in the market in those short terms.

I chose both of them, because if at the short-term trading i get loss, I will not do stop loss, I will hold it to get profit and make it be long-term investment
In my view, it is not you are choosing both but you are converting your short term investments into long term based on their performances. If a long term project is doing good in short term also then you may miss that out as per your strategy.
1233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of cryptocurrency this 2018 on: July 19, 2018, 04:02:43 AM
Hi everyone, I have read a lot of information and comments about the ETH.. A lot of people are trusting and confident that ETH has a lot of potential in terms of growth. But I also see a lot of comments that it's a myth and that those people who are confident are like that because they are hoping for ETH to bubble up like btc did once before. So I would like to know what do you think will happen to BTC, ETH and the whole crypto market this 2018. Is it possible to have a bullish market again?
Iam also researched about this bad situation of cryptocurrency market. So i find this season is generally normal and bad for btc and altcoins. I think end of year altcoins and btc markets will price up.
A lot of people are actually hoping for the end of the year to come out pretty fine but all that to me is too much of expectation as primarily bitcoin may get struck at where it is currently trading. A range bound between $5800 to $9800. These support and resistance levels are as still stronger as they act.

Let us all just be relaxed, patient enough knowing this is a market that is here to stay and no matter the level of downtrend or how long, it would not be forever and for the fact that it gives new investors an opportunity to start investing now, makes it even more interesting for those who are smart enough to take the advantage.
1234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RE: WHY MOST FALL IN PRICE SOON AFTER LISTING ON EXCHANGE on: July 18, 2018, 05:01:52 PM
It seem that almost all ICOs that get listed on exchanges usually plunge in price soon afterwards. Are bounty hunters responsible or is it as a result of the general bearish market condition?
That is because the bigger investors are in a hurry to quickly cash out for profit. The bonuses gotten from some of these investors alone are enough to tank the prices downward.

All the above, it is what it is, and those who are strong enough to pick it as a result of the belief they have in the product will surely do so which is the same as the investors who ended up selling at the peak to chase out weak hands. Also, the market is in a bearish condition, and I guess no one wants to be taking any chances.
1235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin correction is healthy! on: July 18, 2018, 04:17:53 PM
Time will tell if we are actually going to be seeing a bull run in the making any time soon.
Although, there is a likelihood of a head and shoulder formation if it indeed form thoroughly and we are about to use that to break the $6850 resistance upward, but I still would be careful as the market is not smiling at anyone right now and any little pinch can cause a rapid drop to the downside pretty fast.

At least, it would be a good thing to see some good uptrend though. When bitcoin is available for cheaper prices it attracts more new people as per my assumptions.
1236  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange it or Hold it on: July 18, 2018, 09:01:23 AM
Personally if it has value when it enter exchanges I will flip it but for a more stable token. Most become valueless with time.
The main thing is to be holding a coin with value anyway and if that is not the case, I see no reason why anyone should be holding such a coin. The most important thing is to keep checking if there is any form of development going on and that makes it easy to know if one should keep holding or not.

I am not a big fan of airdrop since most of the time, it comes with pretty low value and you would not have anything to do than to hold anyway. Sometimes, the time and efforts taken for exchanging the airdrop rewards may cost more than we are getting from them.

But if we look into some successful coins of present times, I do regret why not participating into their bounty/airdrop and why not holding them till date. Unfortunately only very few people predict the future exactly and hold the coins like MR. Satoshi Nakamotto. All others are selling out on find some returns for their capital/time/efforts.
1237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: July 17, 2018, 07:16:49 AM
One major mistake most gamblers do is to play under pressure and stress, this lead them to huge loss.
You should always need to calm down whenever you are in that condition.

To handle my frustration i admit that it’s not my day and i usually leave the betting/gambling platform immediately.
The funny part is that most gamblers will keep doing this until they get it at the back of their mind that it is a game of luck and the chances of losing is as big or even bigger than the chances of winning. Anyone with a contrary mindset is always bound to play under tension, stress, anger, emotions and then lose every goddamn thing they have eventually.

Best to always admit things could go sour before even starting at all and that makes anyone prepared for the worst and be ready to appreciate the best case. It is gambling and it is just a game of probabilities hence you should never expect only one thing to happen in favor of you. Both will happen and you must accept and digest them as early as possible.
1238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: July 17, 2018, 06:04:41 AM
There are both good and bad effects will gambling. It can be bad because if games are not played responsibly you can loose all your money. The good effects are you can win. I won $500 on a lottery ticket the other day and bought 4 tires with it. So I would say some effects are good.
When gambling is harmful for you, this is harmful and it ends you in a harmed way. Don’t worry and there is no sense of responsibility when you are gambling. Because it directly affects your mind. You become dump and greedy and your addiction don’t let you see any other thing except earning from gambling. And ultimately you are just there as loser sitting and crying over your loss.
I do not get too much excited from anything anymore. I mean sure if I found out a bad news or something I would be but on day to day basis I am not surprised or really scared for anything I got numb for almost anything on my life so now I see the beauty in it. I really like this way of approaching life, since I got the gambling there have been so many ups and downs on my gambling life and in return I got soo excited for both and got scared when I lost at first, now almost all the things in life look like they are acceptable.
1239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 16, 2018, 06:27:55 PM
I don't know who will come from east but Celtics has been a decent team and great in development young players. I believe they will be even better this year with hayward and kryie joining the team which can give warriors their money's worth even tho warriors is still likely to win.

On the other hand the rockets can actually give warriors a trouble. CP3 is a injury prone player and has been inconsistent but whenever cp3-harden-capela is on the floor the warriors had trouble more than any other game they played.

I feel like 2 tough match ups will tire them down as well. Remember cousins is out for most of the year and they will probably just coast the regular season but in the end its about who they will face. Lebrons lakers and rockets and than celtics (maybe throw okc somewhere in there) would mean warriors would probably be tired beyond measure. They are likely winners of this season as well and incredibly talented but its basketball and we will never know who will end up winners in the end.
1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best altcoins to invest in on: July 16, 2018, 08:05:02 AM
Yes,  those coins are best to hold.  Buying them and keep them for the next ten years will help you to became among the rich in future.  Bitcoin is actually the arrow head and you need to keep majority of your investments in bitcoin.
There are better coins and tokens which I believe are going to be giving some of these guys mentioned a huge push out of the way very soon. In terms of usage, real life product and not just some clone of bitcoin trying to do better with privacy.

ETH is actually one of the options I would rather pick anyway in those ones mentioned and diversify into other new areas that are about to storm the market with their innovations. After ETH, anyone may consider waves, ada, lisk and bitsend kind of highly established coins for long term investments and holding. For short term, I guess there is no such thing as it is too risky even some tokens are good for short term investments.
