1161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Opportunity to Invest in Bitcoin !!! on: August 05, 2018, 05:12:01 AM
Wake up!!!!!!!!
Wake up all the investors , its your time now. Its the right time to invest in bitcoin as now its under $7k. Crypto market is giving us the opportunity to invest as much as we can so that we could enjoy higher profits at the end of the year. According to me, It will surpass $20k at the end of this year. So invest what you have and enjoy greater profits at the end of 2018.
I believe anything under $10k is still a great price to get in, it doesn't have to be $6k or $5k or $8k, it can be anything under $10k (even if its $9.9k or something) its still great price to buy and put aside. Of course you need to make sure its a money you will not need in the future, people for some reason put their savings in there and forget that there could be this some emergency you may need the money for, hence they cash out their bitcoins because of it and think they lost money.

Well, "the money you don't need" is not the money you cash out during an emergency, you need to have your own money that you invest, you need to have some saved up in bank, you need to have some stocks, bonds, index funds and so forth and than you need to have a small bitcoin investment after all of that.
1162  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible for BTC to cross 10K$ on: August 05, 2018, 04:38:38 AM
From the month of march btc is going down gradually, last month it was 6K$ and now after touching 8K$, it have moved to 7300$ again. Do you think it would be possible for BTC to cross 10K$ in the month of august?
Investment is decreased from 140B$ to 127B$ in very short time, that is a very bad sign
I find the question a bit silly. Like tomorrow ? Probably not. In general ?
I would be shocked if bitcoin didn't passed $20k let alone $10k. I believe it will be $100k one day for sure, just don't know when, maybe in a year, maybe a decade.

It looks like we are having a bad year and we have been through some rough patches however I know bitcoin is still strong and valuable and I think the moment we get rid of these whales trying to play with bitcoin like its toy for them and make loads of profits, we will get back to initial original sentiment for bitcoin and at that moment bitcoin and bitcoiners will remember why it was created to begin with and we will be alright.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when cryptocurrencies can be used to buy basic needs? on: August 04, 2018, 04:46:17 PM
A lot of projects are going on blockchain and new cryptocurrencies are being launched day by day but when can we actually see  them floating in real market for real use cases like buying a cigarette or bread? is it possible?
I think we are just one company away from that. If a company that starts some cards like psn store cards or itunes cards that is tied to bitcoin but in fiat currency than we will have huge ways to actually buy $5 worth of bitcoin from some card in some grocery store anywhere around the globe. Those companies can charge some commissions from the sales and in the end it will come as a really expensive way to buy bitcoin because of all the costs involved however look at the ease of buying bitcoin which will be basically selling EVERYWHERE in the world as easy as giving 5 dollars and getting 5 dollar worth of bitcoin. As soon as a company does that, you are looking at a mass adoption.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency back from the dead? on: August 04, 2018, 03:51:50 PM
After several month we saw crypto currency prices is decreased fast, and a weeks ago the price is going up, but now looks go back to the bottom, the chart looks so confusing, but in my prediction if crypto currency getting better in august, so we must be happy, because I believe crypto currency is the economic future of the world. But if this august, crypto currency is fall again or maybe have no positif movement, so this is the end. What do you think buddy?
It honestly wasn't dead at all, the problem with people thinking the bear market has been too far long is that they forget one crucial idea, maybe the bull market was too quick instead of bear market being too long ?

We had these types of prices like $5k or $8k or what not for a while and than when $20k happened it was there for a quick second and than everything went back to their original prices, maybe this was the bitcoin price all along but someone just hyped bitcoin out of nowhere and people really just went with it and $20k happened but initially who knows maybe it wasn't a proper pricing for bitcoin, at least not yet. So consider the fact that bear market didn't take too long, it was bull market that was too quick.
1165  Economy / Economics / Re: Why everyone only invest in the crypto market? on: August 04, 2018, 01:55:51 PM
I do not , I diversify and invest in many things, well at least back when I had any money to invest, now I just watch my investments and not put any further in. I have stocks from too many different companies, I have bonds, I have gold, I have foreign currencies to my country.

I basically do all I can do actually have a diversified portfolio and yes of course crypto is a huge part of it, actually biggest investment I have, hence it does get affected horribly when these bear markets hits however I still am doing well thanks to other investments, I am down a lot but still not down as much as I could have been if I invested only on crypto.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Crypto help you out? on: August 04, 2018, 10:28:53 AM
This question is especially for those who have been into crypto for a long time. How did cryptocurrency help you, most specifically financially? Did you earn more? Gain more investment? I do have a friend who wants to get into crypto but he does not have a lot of savings in his bank account or any major investment. I told him to save more before getting into crypto because they still have mortgage and car loan to pay. Do you think crypto will help him out to?
It helped me to live, I was unemployed and was having hard time living because I had no money left, however I was able to provide my work to crypto world and in return I found people who really would pay me in crypto currency for the work I do.

I have been making money thanks to crypto and if I did not do that I would have been unemployed and have hard time paying for well basically anything, I wouldn't be able to pay my bills, eat or go out at all. I would have needed to find a employment somewhere way under my skill set just in order to get some basic minimum wage. I think the best thing that ever happened to me is accepting crypto for the all the work I do.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbetting on: August 04, 2018, 06:58:10 AM
Match fixing is big element in sports betting. Ordinary people do not understand who fixed the match and where? He can only try his luck. I don’t think that there is any experience required to analyze the game position. A large number of people gamble on two big games, cricket and football. But as it is gambling I strongly condemned sport betting.
Match fixing is something thats done in some more obscure games. However if you gamble on something like real madrid vs liverpool you can be damn sure that both teams are playing for the cup itself. That is why I always love gambling on tournaments because teams always try to win there. World cup, euro cup, nba playoffs, nfl supercup, champions league, euro cup and many more like that where teams try to win with some league games that would affect the leader or regulation. Try to gamble on that type of important games and there will be no match fixing for sure.
1168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: August 04, 2018, 06:20:17 AM
if we have big capital and have a gambling site it is obviously very profitable and can make lots of money quickly, but unlike people who gamble, most people do not feel the success of gambling because they do it just for fun and just make it just entertainment that can earn good luck
It is highly unlikely that anyone can find a partner to start a bitcoin (well crypto in general) gambling casino from a bitcointalk topic. It requires too many stuff that would be needed to actually start from security to development to marketing to god knows what else, just too much money and trust required to start it at all. I really doubt anyone here talking about how casinos make money can actually make profits from owning a casino.

Back to the original point, you can't expect big wins like the initial message said, like "if everything is done wisely, then on gambling you can make money". That can't be any farther from truth, don't let people like this cause you to gamble your money away, gambling is LUCK based game and the house edge allows house to always win in the long run, there is no other way to win in gambling than being LUCKY, that's all. There is no "done wisely" way of making money.
1169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current BTC price below 8K on: August 03, 2018, 03:56:23 PM
This is a critical place. I have been talking about how bitcoin needs to stay up so that altcoins can follow and if bitcoin stayed up long enough time than altcoins would follow and we would have a big rush of bull run. However it failed staying like that, I thought it stayed long enough but obviously I was wrong, now that its low it needs to get up and stay up a lot longer because people are afraid of the drops happening. Either bitcoin will go up to 8k or so levels once again and stay there for a while or we will see bitcoin dropping even further which will result us to get another rush of bear market and everyone panicking about the price and selling fast.
1170  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has bitcoin price ever been down till this time of the year before? on: August 03, 2018, 12:00:44 PM
Just when the price of bitcoin starts going up and you start getting your hopes up, the next thing you know, it starts going down again. Sometimes it goes down at a lower rate than it was rising. It's been up and down like this since the year began. Has it ever been down till this time of the year? I was expecting it to rise by the second half of the year but it seems not to be the case.
You really need to check mtgox hack times, without knowing the history of bitcoin prices you can't really expect to make money from bitcoin prices. You need to realize this is a long term game and people who make money even on short term knows their long term investments as well. Bitcoin price plummeted to hell during mtgox times and it stayed there for years before going back up once again.

It might not be that much of a big deal this time because back than bitcoin was this small circle of people and it went down to 250 dollars or what not and this time bitcoin is known a lot more and it is swinging up and down a lot more frequently. Lets hope it can recover quicker than those days though.
1171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why has the Bitcoin cost risen so quick over the most recent 3 weeks? on: August 03, 2018, 11:06:31 AM
Why has the bitcoin cost risen so quick over the most recent three weeks? It's difficult to state without a doubt since bitcoin is so unpredictable. According to you, what is the main reason for the sudden rise in the Bitcoin price?
It rises so quickly over the recent 3 weeks, it also goes down in 1 day. Bitcoin is something that is insanely volatile and you will never know when it will go up or down because there are people who do sudden moves and sudden buys or sells that will affect the market and in the end the result will be people seeing those moves as market movement and react accordingly and in the end you just get a huge sudden movement just because someone sold some coins.

It has chain reaction effect just like when you drop a water droplet into an ocean it creates a wave of ... well small waves, when someone does something others react to it and it gets a lot bigger like snowball going down.
1172  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitMEX CEO: A Bitcoin ETF Is Great For Adoption, Triples-Down On $50k Prediction on: August 03, 2018, 06:52:50 AM
It will kind of help the adoption of bitcoin. I mean we are talking about huge billions of dollars going into bitcoin as an investment to people who have never invested in bitcoin. That is alone is adoption but not in the way we trust. However if we are going into a route that big huge funds go into bitcoin and put their investors (basically customers) money into bitcoin than we will be fine however ETF is basically a "bet" on if bitcoin price will go up or not, so people are not actually buying bitcoin which means we need to make sure they also go out and buy it as well, but it creates a public awareness so I am fine with it.

Approval of ETF may take more time but I am sure bitcoin will fly beyond $50k as expected in coming months (for that $20k within this year will be the first confirmation). ETF approval may fasten this process but without that too bitcoin will reach $100k levels on its own strength and community.
1173  Economy / Economics / Re: The Reason For Creating a New Cryptocurrency? on: August 03, 2018, 05:17:47 AM
The growing development of cryptocurrency in the world becomes a very positive thing in this digital era where the use of blockchain-based technology becomes real. However, in my mind, being questionable is actually the reason that many people make and create a new crypto currency?
I think most of it comes from solving an issue. You have to understand that coders are people who see a problem and they try to fix that problem, more than coding they are problem solvers and hence when they see a code and a coin on that code they see the problems of that code and try to solve that problem on that coins code.

Since they can't fix the problem from that coin they fix the problem and put up a new coin with no problems on it and solve the problem with a new coin. Of course there are people who just create a new coin because they want to take your money and get rich as well.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Technology: To Democratize Traditional System. on: August 02, 2018, 12:16:53 PM
Blockchain adds more transparency while making transactions faster & safer. It has got lot of potentials to grow. There will be more blockchains coming up with solutions to specific problems and make the future much better and easier. Trade.io is also great. They have a great interface, the team looks experienced and also they provide investment opportunity as well as consulting services.
When you see a team like that and a website name that well you know they take their jobs seriously, I also believe that blockchain will have a bigger part to play in the upcoming future. We will see a lot of major companies to actually have their own blockchains for the business they do.

Noreover, they do not need the tokens and whether they have it or not they will probably keep it to themselves and mine it themselves or start off with all of them on their hands, not to distribute but to have the upmost control, they need the blockchain and not the coin or token itself so they will not share it publicly so we should not hold our breaths for something like apple coin or microsoft coin or an amazon coin because that will not happen even if those companies start to play with blockchain technology.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How I lost my coin. on: August 02, 2018, 06:54:06 AM
I have lost Hugh amount of bitcoin, and I believe some person's here too have gone through same. Can we please share our experience and lessons.

My story :My wallet was hacked, by God knows who. That was 2017 may. I logged in to my blockchain wallet to notice that 0.9  btc I have been accumulating Since 2016 has been taken. Leaving less than $5 worth of bitcoin for me.
Well, sorry for your loss, but that is the kind of loss that came about as a security mistake on your part as it is either you are dumb enough to trust someone with your private keys or you were simply just careless with the security of your funds. However, shit happens and that is one thing I am sure you must have learned your lessons from. Also, remember to always make use of added securities and make use of cold storage if you are really holding for long.

My lesson :  don't trust anyone with your crypto, laptop or password. Because I believe someone close to me did that.
When your dear and near people are not trust worthy, practically you cannot do anything. But, if you are working in some office and you manage your wallets from your work place and probably you have left your things opened which is also possible as per many people's experience. Being careful and having more awareness are always important in crypto world.
1176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we finally see some good movement in price for Bitcoin on: August 01, 2018, 09:08:40 AM
After some time we are seeing some good and positeve movement in price for bitcoin and crypto in general. Is this good or bad? Are bulls back in game or they just manipulate price. Or we have fresh money that is coming into bitcoin and that has given the market a nice pump back into the USD 7400 price level.

Or we will have some other factor into this this like timing, or better yet, buying/selling at the right time. Or we will have to make correct prediction in price and we can have good profit.

Believe this is just the beginning, on this I mean that there will be opportunities to make some small purchases, here and there, in the hopes price will continue to raise past the USD 20k level.

What is your opinion on this?
Are we ? Are you happy that bitcoin is over $8k after seeing $5.8k ?
Because if you are happy about it than its a good movement in price for bitcoin. It is a really weird way to put that as a question instead of a statement.

Moreover, we need to make sure we bottomed out and this needs to keep going, we all need to do our parts, try to not sell many bitcoins (aside from personal needs of course) and try to convince as many people as we can on investing and trying to get bitcoin into news of our countries as much as possible and in return we can actually have bitcoin getting hyped once again.
1177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices for March 2018, March 2019 and March 2020 and why. on: August 01, 2018, 08:05:03 AM
I believe no one would know what the prices would be exactly but I can talk about the estimated guess of the movement. I think since dollar and almost all fiat currencies are getting devalued over time it means that by march 2019 we will see bitcoin price higher than what it is today not only because bitcoin is increasing but also dollar is increasing. However, 2020 is something a lot different. If I am not wrong 2020 is the year bitcoin halving will happen. Which means that miners will have a big cost on mining bitcoin, which would result in them not selling bitcoin under certain amounts, that might cause bitcoin to spike in price. Can't tell exact numbers because no one would but by 2020 bitcoin will be very bullish because of the halving.
1178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When is the moment it smells like a scam on: August 01, 2018, 07:22:45 AM
When the scammer tells you...

1) to give him your wallet id and password

2) to use a blockchain wallet he created for you.

3) to fund your wallet after you changed your password

4) that you will get 5000% back in a day (high percentual return in a short period of time)

Any more??? let's discuss!!!!

P.S. by the way, I have found a very good platform called gebepay and I have used it a couple of times and found it pretty useful and safe to buy products or services with my ETH, anyway have a look!
When it becomes too good to be true and you don't see any results but just talks. When someone sold you a shoe that will help you fly but doesn't show you the shoe than you know its a scam however when someone shows you a new coin and tells you it will worth 100 each and he only sells it for 1 dollar each on ico, somehow people keep believing that.

No, no one would sell a coin that will worth 100 for 1. Get your mind around that and you will start to realize that if something is too good to be true and there is no proof, its usually a scam.
1179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BTC: where is the market going on: August 01, 2018, 06:50:03 AM
Don't worry market will recover recently we have seen some growth from 6200$ to 8500$. Before reaching high value it should go down below to 7300$ and again it will cross the value more than 9500$. Everything we have to watch closely until it reaches high value.
Except for whales I guess, since they are the ones who are the market makers anyway and we are all just some puppets dancing to their tunes. It is one thing that I have noticed so far, which is the fact that technically, the market is highly volatile with a lot of manipulations and it takes extra carefulness to be able to get the best from it. For now, we just have to keep watching how far we will go high, Yes the chance of $20k is still there within this year.

I am still afraid of mtgox guy as I do believe he was the big force to drag back bitcoin prices from $12k to $6k levels. If he plans to sell some more coins after recent push back then we may sadly need to go back to support zones again.
1180  Economy / Gambling / Re: ₿itcoinCasinoFinder.com-4 x TURBO POKER FREEROLLS MONTHLY 7th/15th/21st/30th on: July 31, 2018, 12:23:57 PM
It is confusing to me, I have checked the website and it looks like a casino itself, is this a website to check out which other casinos are good or bad or is this a website that actually is a casino itself ? I have seen multiple proofs of both of those, so I am going out on a limb here and say, is this a website that has a casino in it and also shows which other websites are good casinos at the same time ?

Shouldn't you try to keep your gamblers in your website instead of showing others?
