The religious argument goes in here. I want to keep a balance of Shia and Sunni control so that Sunni insurgents do not overthrow Shia States and then turn to attacking Israel and the U.S.
I understand your point but I'm trying to say it's quire simplistic thinking, if you didn't know Iran which is mostly Shiite has called or at least their religious leader called for the destruction of Israel. but that not the point

-Shia is just one current in Islam as there are many, is as if you are saying Orthodoxs, Protestant, Evangelist, Jehovah Witness..... ect should have their perspective countries, it doesn't make sense at all
-Sunnite are not a minority in Iraq, and what you are saying can only work when you have a minority of population hence it is working Iran or Israel, but in Iraq, you need to share power and have everyone threated equally if you want to solve the problems
-Isis are using the devision within Iraq to their advantage, Kurd, Sunnit, Shiite ... ect if there was no division this woudn't be an issue, if you want to solve the issue you need to solve the devision

No, I don't want Sectarian fighting, but I do want different Sects to control different countries. This keeps the Middle East in balance. My nightmare would be the Syrian and Iraqi Governments being toppled and being replaced with a Sunni ultra-religious State. This would drag Israel into war with it and would cause even more chaos in the Middle East.

This is once again is a wrong argument, Sects controlled countries are usually racists, and Israel is a good example of that, where non jewish people are considered second class citizens, on the other hand when things are done properly at least from this aspect, you don't find this kind of issues, and we can take countries like Tunisia or Morocco or Turkey as examples here. In Iraq Sunnites like i said before are not a minority, no matter who's the leader and what his personal convictions he needs to treat everyone equally

You never know what you are going to see on Bourbon Street, especially late at night. There is no place else like it in this country. If you can't have fun walking down Bourbon, you can't have fun.

Can you give an example? isn't the Bourbon street in the french neighbourhood or something? excuse my ignorance Smiley I'm not familliar with the US and especially with New Orleans
Bourbon street in the french quarter,New Orleans
Most anyone who comes to New Orleans wants to experience Bourbon Street. Many sights and sounds you won't experience anywhere else. You can walk around with a cocktail and take in the sights. There are many clubs/bars with live music by mainly NO musicians. A must-do for any first time tourist. Note: It can be a bit crowded at times so don't go if you don't like crowds.

Interesting might be something to add in a tour, for a next visit to the US, and of course taking in consideration this scam, the trick I do sometimes when I'm bothered and I'm in unsafe area I just pretend  not be able to speak the language and keep walking, works almost every time
243  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 'Become Muslims by noon today... or we kill all of you' on: August 12, 2014, 03:28:32 PM
The united nations was formed to prevent and defend the weak. If the world does not intervene. Then the whole world is in peril. Forget the trading and profitable world relationships we have now. The liberal hand wringers have had theirs and got their way with iraq and afghanistan. Tell the world how talks and sanctions are to prevent mass slaughter by this evil
Sadly the UN is built to hold the interest of the strong ones, hence only a couple of countries has the power to veto and control anything that is decided in the UN entities that has the power of action like the security council, as for the general assembly other countries can suggest or vote all they want not much things are usually done.

This is quite natural. Do you think the muslims are care about what's happening in Ukraine? No, they don't. That would change if someone would start killing muslims. Same thing applies here.
The situation wouldn't change really (example Chechen war) , they are following the situation, but they cannot take positions and even if they take position it wouldn't change anything, not to mention that Arab countries right now are surrounded with Issues like in Mali, Libya, Syria, Iraq....

Vietnam is the best example, for displaying the limited usefulness of air strikes. If you want to win a war against something like ISIS eventually you have to go there, look into their eyes and kill them all. That's the only remedy.

Ah don't remind me of Vietnam, I've read some books recently and some articles about the US war crimes there....and I'm still shocked of how humans can do such things to other fellow humans .... but if you go back to your point here, Vietnam has proven that ground intervention fails also, trying to kill everyone will just makes matters even worse and will only bring more chaos to the chaos that is already in place, ISIS should be pushed for the time being with military actions to save people from death, but at the same time and as I pointed before, they should have a long term plan that would solve the political/religious/tribal issues of the country, strengthens the country institutions, and military power
244  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia is getting ready to bomb the USA :( on: August 12, 2014, 03:15:10 PM
As far as I know, that is correct, and it is what I assumed. Japan also (I suspect) have a ton of enriched Plutonium, acquired from its many nuclear power plants. Also, if we can get enough Uranium for Reactors, wouldn't it be a lot more than enough for bombs too?

There are two huge problem with Plutonium acquired from energy nuclear reactors, one is that it is bound to other elements, and two you'll have not only Pu 239 but also 238 240 and 241, and that Pu-240 is highly fissile and would simply cause a bomb to pre-detonate and fizzle.

Also Japans Nuclear waste and circuit is controlled by the IAEA like in any other country, that doesn't mean that Japan cannot built a nuclear bomb within a couple of year, but that would against the non proliferation agreement and also the peace treaty they signed with the US. It's almost impossible for any country to acquire nuclear weapons, unless the country is willing to pay the price as North Korea
245  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S. Aircraft Strike ISIS Targets in Iraq on: August 12, 2014, 02:56:09 PM
There are some radical Muslims that believe that they have do destroy different Sects (Shia) first before they move on to the Christians and Jews and then Allah will reveal Himself. It keeps the balance when at least several Muslim countries have a Shia Prime Minister. If Iraq and Syria fall to Sunni insurgents, then the only Shia-led State left will be Iran. This would unite Islamic extremists against Christians and Jews next.

Edit: There are even some Sunnis Muslims who believe that Shias are not even real Muslims.
WTF?HuhHuh??

So Shia existance made it that the Islamic extremist are not united against Jews and Christians ? lol?

I don't from where you are getting such informations from, and I'm sorry to say so you are just speaking non sense in your post here. If Sunnis wanted to destroy Shiites they would have done so centuries ago.........

As for your edit, Yes there are a minority of Sunnis that thinks Shiites are not real muslim and the other way around is true as well, and it is the same for every religion, Christianism : Catholic Vs Protestant (among others of course as there are dozens of currents in Christianity), Jews : Karaite Judaism vs Orthodox Judaism ...ect)
246  Other / Politics & Society / Re: U.S. Aircraft Strike ISIS Targets in Iraq on: August 12, 2014, 02:36:15 PM
I think it is best to keep a Shia Prime Minister in Iraq. That way, Iraq, Iran, and Syria will have Shia leaders. And the rest of the Muslim world will have Sunni leaders. This will keep things balanced.

I don't know what logic is this, this is not a numbers question and your point is not related in any to the problem and will not solve population diversity issues, tribal aspects of iraq and internal conflicts, The big problem Al Maliki is not the fact that he is Shiite, it's because of his discrimination towards Sunnis to the point of isolation and favoritism towards Shiits any leader no matter which current he follows if he doesn't involve all parties in his government, and he does not treat all the population indifferently, Iraq will remain a rumble of dust after it was one of the most scientifically advanced country in the region with strong economy and cultural diversity. (euh proper democracy?)

Only Russian build cars.

hmm aren't these copies from FIAT Cars such as the Ritmo or the 128 and 131 looks more than similar to me

That are not copies, FIAT sell the entire manufacture with technologies.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AvtoVAZ

Ah I see they had that sort of partnership, It's not the first time this kind of things happens, but I was suprised as they are Soviet Era cars and I thought USRR didn't have that kind of economic relationship with the west during that that period and especially in the 70s

249  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is anyone following the Israel & Palestine Situation. on: August 12, 2014, 10:09:18 AM
the problem is that they would have to be non Israeli citizens. the IDF is quite capable of to blowing up its own citizens to stop them from being taken hostage.

in 2010 the world tried to do something like this with the Peace Flotilla but they were turned back by the Isreali navy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaza_flotilla_raid

what we need is for all sides to agree than UN peacekeepers and peace activists should be allowed to go into Gaza and maintain peace and order.

if civilians go in there alone there is a very high chance that they will be abducted or shot by extremists on both sides for political purposes.

It seems activists are preparing another Peace Flotilla to break through the blockade, and deliver aid to Gaza: http://rt.com/news/179484-turkey-gaza-flotilla-israel/. Let's hope they make it through this time, without anyone being killed in the process.
Apparently Turkey navy will support the flotilla this time, Which will make the Israelis think twice before breaking international law like they did last time

Can't Uranium be used for Nukes? I have no idea about weapons, but I think Plutonium is sometimes found as a result of Uranium refining and fission, and that it is more powerful than uranium, but can't Uranium simply be used for nukes?

Uranium IS used in Atomic(fission) and even Hydrogen bombs (fusion) for that matter, the thing is, you need enriched Uranium as you might know each element has different isotopes, and in the case of uranium for nukes U-235 is needed for it fission properties (U-233 is even better in theory but it has reaction issues), the natural uranium is U-238 (with around 1% of U-235), for a nuke you'll need an enriched Uranium with 90%+ of U-235.

So no uranium can't be used for nukes like that hence the difficulty

And yes Plutonium can be found in nuclear reactor, as when some of the U-238 acquires a neutron during the fission process it's becomes U-239 which decays to Pu-239, and Plutonium is even better than Uranium in the aspect that the critical mass needed for an A bomb is way lower than the one needed with Uranium, but again the amount of Plutonium needed is in dozens of kgs, and you need over 94% of Pu-239 (which is the highly fissile isotopes of Pu)

As for China, they have no problem producing either, and they already have a good stock of Hydrogen bombs (Fission-fusion) and A-bombs (Fission)

what's funnier is that they were also taunting the U.S. .. i'm not sure how smart they are strategically by taunting the U.S. while in the midst of conquering an area that the U.S. has a military history with.
It's not stupid, it's a political stunt, used everywhere, you call out someone stronger than you to show your followers that you fear nothing, not to mention that a lot of ISIS recruites were victims to US intervention directly or indirectly.

ISIS are worse than the Nazi's. As evil as the Nazi's were, they tried to cover-up their brutality but this lot seem to gloat in it. The world cannot stand back and let this group commit unspeakable crimes and grow in numbers. How they can do this in the name of Islam i don't know, they are savages, nothing more.

Nazis were on a class on their own, they used their advanced science and scientist to find new way to murder people, ISIS might get there if no intervention is made, but for now they brutal uneducated criminals in the vast majority, and what they are doing is against Islam and I can give examples, such as it's forbidden in Islam to kill or torture someone that surrendered, to kill unarmed women and children, slavery is also forbidden in Islam....ect ect.

I think the obvious choice would be the statue of liberty even if it not a real woman, sadly since the political scene is male orientated since the creation of the US, there is no person that comes to mind.
Maybe a scientist that contributed to the world could be a good choice

255  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Receiving coin while unsynchronized ? on: August 11, 2014, 09:24:14 PM
Sorry if it's a idiot question : D I wanted to be sure.
So,if it won't be a problem if someone sent me coin while my wallet is unsynchronized ?

Just to add more informations to what was mentioned before
Here is a very simplified explanation on how transactions works :

When you make a transaction, the transaction it self has 3 components and Input ( the sender address), amount of of coins and output (receiver address) . (notice how there is no mention of coins them selfs, because they don't exist, the thing that exist in the bitcoin network are actually the transactions data )
the transaction data or record, are registered in the blockchain and each transaction is tied to private keys that are related to the previous input and output, so when a transaction is made and confirmed by the network which is processing the blockchain in this case you've received the coins on your address

your wallet being in sync or not has nothing to do with the transaction it self, The synching of the wallet is related blockchain, to receive the missing transaction in the network that the wallet missed when it was offline, hence during the synching when it reaches the transaction it self you'll see the bitcoins appears and the usual bubble message "you've received xxx amount of XXXcoins"

Obviously there are more things that makes the bitcoin protocol what it is, Just google it and you'll find plenty of information once you are familiar with the basics
256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Mixing on: August 11, 2014, 09:04:34 PM
What are some legitimate uses for mixing your coins? If you have done this who did you use and was it quick and safe to do?

Obviously the most legitimate use for Bitcoin mixing is to conserve privacy and improve safety for some people/companies that deals with large amount of BTCs, on the other hand, these services are most likely to be used for money laundry and for criminal activities, and this why in my opinion such services should include a service to survey and block any funds that were flagged such as in the case of the guy who lost over 1K BTC

People blame Maliki as if his 'sins' justify what ISIS are doing. Wahhabism is the root of the problem. It's politics. Give them time to commit their atrocities, so the US will look like the great saviour. That being said, I fully support any country that will bomb these fucks out of existence.

Malikis faults here is that he actually to prosecute and mistreated or at least didn't do his job to protect Sunnis, Sunnis in Iraq became second class citizen after Shiites took control hence creating tensions in the country this obviously facilitated the access of ISIS into Iraq, not only that but I think the fact that the country getting split is also his fault in part (I don't know if Kurds deserves their country or not as I'm literate enough on their history) and providing no proper defense to his people.

ISIS are doing whatever sense, in Iraq while even Lebanon is dealing with them without a proper heck even Hezbollah has no problem to deal with them which is a prove that it doesn't require much to deal with them.
259  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Obama's 'junior varsity' ISIS is beheading children on: August 11, 2014, 08:36:31 PM
If Muslim wanted to kill Jews they would have done so centuries before when they were the strongest, but in fact they did the opposite, Jews were well threated in Muslim countries, heck when Islam was tossed out of what's we know now as Spain, Jews followed muslims to north African countries because they feared for them selfs.

Muslims started to hate the Jews only after the creation of Israel. Before that, the Jews were among the privileged citizens in the Islamic nations. For example, in Turkey the Jews enjoyed almost all the privileges which were granted to the Muslims, while the Christians (mostly Assyrians, Greeks and Armenians) were treated with extreme brutality.

Even Christians were well treated in general, but in conflict area there were of course problems, wars never ceased in the Spain-Morocco area on the west and on the east it was mainly in the frontier of Turkey especially during the Ottoman empire , but Christians were fine in middle east countries such Iraq (hence there are Christian population there right now, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine...ect

When we went into Iraq we had no understanding of the tribal and sect situation and the aftermath showed in in a very glaring way. Perhaps a republic type of system with representation from all areas would have worked better than the current system of one sect or another being the ruling party.

For the current situation there is no real clear solution. We can drop bombs or send in drones etc. but American power being brought to bear in that country tends to send ordinary people in the other direction.

Exactly, and what makes this situation even worst, is that Libya might become the second ISIS land, and from there spread conflict areas like they did here to Sudan/south Sudan, Mali...
