I saw a tweet about xmg on poswallet a couple weeks ago and deposited my coins, I earned nearly 500 xmg from pool staking over 5 days (what black magic is this) they then remove almost all the coins including magi. So I guess what I'm saying is y'all got any more of that pool staking somewhere?
That sounds suspicious given APR ~ 3.3%.

I like XMG much, but My site use zencart, could you make it for zen cart plugin? thanks for your reply
We're to bring MagiPay up, and would try to see if it can be up. Would you send me a PM (here, or join the slack then send PM) so that I can get ahold of you once that comes.

Hi, Does Bitcoin wallet commant "zapwallettxes" works also with Magi? Thanks.
Unfortunately such function is not in the present code of Magi. I guess this is one of the reasons we should work out the latest code. Probably you can try dumpprivkey and then import into a fresh wallet to see if make the transactions right.

Hey guys, like I said in previous post I lost track of crypto and Magi. Can you pls tell me if the sweetspot is still going on? (is it updating to current block situation) What is the latest wallet version? (I downloaded v1.3.1.0 version and syncing...it gon take forever but hey... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Hi z0n0, Check this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.msg15314290#msg15314290Update procedure: 1) Backup wallet.dat to a safe place; 2) Delete everything under the Magi or .magi folder except wallet.dat; 3) Download block chain from here http://coinmagi.org/bin/block-chain/ and unzip the fille; 4) Unzip all of the stuffs under the folder m-blockchain into Magi or .magi; 5) Start up the new wallet I think when you do step 3 it wont take forever to sync. Here is a recent version: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.msg17799521#msg17799521. The installer is an easy way to install and download blockchain on Windows.

Hi Joe,
I want to say well done on the slick wallet install.
I had a problem with and old wallet taking ages to load.
Very impressed and shows maturity that will helps this coin grow and grow!
Well done and good luck!
Thanks. We'll bring up further improvements; I believe that would bring us into a perfect shape once done.

Looks Awesome Joe. I like the relaunch of the Magi Standalone Payment Gateway a lot!! Good stuff. Thanks for the update - new code base sounds exciting - will that involve a new version of qt? there are a lot of cool new wallet features in newer versions of qt =) What features are nice in newer versions of qt? I like the better console interaction and debugging, sleaker UI and some nice connection statistic graphs - also the build process is much easier IMO The new version of Qt gui will be included.

There was an update from v1.2 to v1.3 which involves changing db to LevelDB for block chain. While it is not so obvious and clearly understood, there seems a tendency of fork when different users use different wallet versions. We don't see clear fork as of yet but there was a few reports of wallet-not-syncing, which might be the case of posw too. Obviously the issue is local, and not propagating over the network since those users were not be able to gain connections to the other nodes.

I agree. I remember when everything above a couple of million marketcap use to amaze me. Now i see so many above 100M! So grateful for being able to see the growth.
Good work MAGI community. Very healthy community! Keep smashing it.
Glad to see you stick to the crypto, and me too, obviously. It might be foreseeable that crypto can grow tens times or mores which was already a proven fact when looking few years back; based on the present capacity, such a growth would be a must-have consequence.

We'll continue overall optimizations on the coin and I believe a couple of things need to be accomplished ASAP; I'm already on them. We'll talk about a list, and also few other stuffs next week.
That's great to hear, Joe. Its been quite some time since I've been away from Coin Magi, as I've been mostly busy with college work, but now that I'm finished, I would like to get back at supporting XMG. So far, Magi has greatly improved since I've last checked this thread with new things like the wallet, and even an increase in price of around $0.05 USD. I was able to buy Magi early when it when down to $0.03 USD and made a nice profit out of it. Now, I'm staking the rest of my holdings for the future. Nevertheless, I can't wait for those new and exciting features to come up for Magi that would greatly benefit the same towards long term success. One of the things I'm looking forward to is the release of a physical Coin Magi for collecting. It would be pretty cool to carry it with you anywhere and spread the word about this exciting cryptocurrency. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I hope you're getting well with college works, and glad to see you around. Crypto is consuming. I like the idea of physical Coin Magi for collecting, will keep this in mind. By the way, you're welcome to Slack, for discussion and any suggestions. I was college work based, and we might have certain connections on this aspect.

Looks like volume has dropped a bit on the remaining exchanges since polo went - any idea how we can drum up a bit more awareness of the coin?
Make node rewards system, for nodes, who hold 10 000 xmg? This will make buy pressure on exchanges, and people will notice us. My immediate impression about that is monetary mediating, and then thinking deep comes centralization. If we make m-nodes, I vote for mPoS like rewards ideally by no big amount forced into rewarding purpose. NO OFFENSE TO MASTERNODE.

These are PoS staking interests. What determines the amount of interest? all network trade volume? It's a dynamic interest with APR adjusted according to the network weight, which will be like the more people staking, the higher interest; APR can be found out by issuing the following RPC command: which gives "stakeinterest" : 0.03280011 at this time; and the number of coins generated from staking would be: [number of coins in stake] x 0.03280011 / 365

We talked something to attract awareness from Lion; in the other hand and most importantly we'd get some real works into the line and being released; I'm trying rising things up.
