241  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the next BIG event after block halving that may boost bitcoin price? on: July 15, 2016, 07:52:27 PM
The next big thing can be if amazon or ebay implement the bitcoin on their system. Another big event can be if the block size would be increased for a double from now (2MB)
242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why people love bitcoins? on: July 15, 2016, 06:05:24 PM
why people love bitcoins?

People love bitcoin because it is easy to use, easy to send and receive small or large transaction, low fees for all transaction (no discrimination for international transfers), no verification at all, semi-anonymous etc.
243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GETTING DUMPED HARD!!!! on: July 15, 2016, 06:02:23 PM
For the past 30 days I checked the ETH price graph and It's dumped hard from 0.028BTC the highest to 0.0124BTC the lowest which is more than the half. ETH is trying to recover and I think more investors will join ETH.
244  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The less you own, the more you have on: July 15, 2016, 05:39:35 PM
This quote is not only for bitcoin but also in real life, the more you have the less you control them, you spend more time on them by managing improving increasing the volume etc. Having less stress can be better for the health.

246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Memorizing Private Key on: July 15, 2016, 04:55:42 PM
Have u ever attempted to memorize one of ur Bitcoin private keys?

Do u think anyone has ever done this?

Just remembering one's own key to valuable funds.

With Brainwallet seeds I'm sure people have done this.

I love to memorize.

I'm capable of memorizing up to 32 digits by visualization.

~CfA~

I may link them by memorizing the photos and the seed linked on them. I never try to memorize them because the brain is not a safe place to save sensitive data, I even forget how my password is even those that I use every day/week.
247  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2.5 Years in Bitcoin and still holding. on: July 14, 2016, 10:38:12 PM

248  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MOST COMMON MISTAKES OF A NEWBIE on: July 14, 2016, 10:19:12 PM
Ahoy there  Smiley
Im a beginner with electronic currencies and started using Yobit few days ago
I would like to know what types of common mistakes newbies make and what to avoid in early days

Regards

The mistakes that newbies do is that they do not store the private key somewhere safety but since you have joined trading in yobit then you should care more about the coins that you trade there because most of the altcoins end at few satoshi.
249  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can keyloggers store your wallet password if you use on-screen keyboard? on: July 14, 2016, 10:00:49 PM
Since today I'm going to be more careful at threats that could steal my passwords such as keyloggers and other viruses, so I was just wondering.. Can a keylogger store the password you're inputting from an on-screen keyboard (the Windows one)? If yes, which softwares are you using to make sure there's no possibility for your wallet password to be stolen?

I read an article from 2009 and at that time this was possible but what about now? The keyloggers are more sophisticated and they capture mostly everything even if you write from your on-board screen because you are writing on the password field which is the favorite part for hackers.
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next breakout in bitcoins price when will it be? on: July 14, 2016, 09:53:38 PM
Last November 2015 we have witness a big surge on bitcoins monetary value. This 2016 many have awaited for the increase during the halving but the increase had happened months before halving and that is last june, 2016. Technical experts have said that there will be more breakout to happen. So let us roll out our ideas as to when will the next breakout be.

So what are your guess?

I guess that the next breakout in bitcoin price can be the last month of this year, if in November of 2012 was the halving then there were some months to see the halving effect so we need to wait until the end of this year or beginning of the 2017.
251  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Purchasing Bitcoin on: July 14, 2016, 09:47:30 PM

My android phone list receiving address like this 16SLBs8PDQtrJp7LnD...dSt8MHwRQgPvxux I uninstalled
electrum from phone reinstalled it also installed a new electrum wallet but I still have this problem. Has
  anyone had this problem before.
  Allen

Can you try to move your phone on the landscape mode and check if you can see the whole address? Or if the screen is small trying in a tablet can be the last hope if it is because of the screen. Clicking on it doesn't copy the address?
252  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia needs a female president! on: July 14, 2016, 09:44:18 PM
It is possible because Russia has many women already working in their Russian government, ministries and parliament so why could not woman become the president of Russia, maybe bitcoin will be unbanned in this country after a woman gets the leadership.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: July 14, 2016, 09:41:20 PM
Is gambling OK? Don't bet it! There's not an easy or instantly obvious proof text answer to that question.

Yes it is 100%, and it is a very bad sin, and if you are into it you should stop and get out of this game, below are some Noble Verses from the Noble Quran:

Quote
"They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: "In them is great sin, and some profit, for men; but the sin is greater than the profit." They ask thee how much they are to spend; Say: "What is beyond your needs." Thus doth God Make clear to you His Signs: In order that ye may consider-  (The Noble Quran, 2:219)"

"O ye who believe! Intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones, and (divination by) arrows, are an abomination,- of Satan's handwork: eschew such (abomination), that ye may prosper.  Satan's plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of God, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain?   (The Noble Quran, 5:90-91)"

I don't consider it a sin. This is the free world. Let people do what they want with their money and time. If you kill people it is a sin, but gambling? Greed is just a human emotion, it's can be bad, but a sin? Nope.

Gambling is not a sin but if it is done out of greed then it is a sin. When your family has no food to eat because you gamble then it is a sin. When you dont give to charities but you are addicted to gambling is a sin. When you dont pray but instead gamble then it is a sin. Gambling is not a sin when its done in entertainment, not out of addiction, and not eating your allocations for your family and charity, not eating your time for God and Humanity. Its not a sin if its not too much.

You are right in the most of your comment but You really mixed the things at the end which gives another direction.Gamble is sin and we can;t say that it isn't, it is addicted, consumes time, money etc.
254  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: help to choose a best bitcoin wallet on: July 14, 2016, 09:32:03 PM
i am very slow Internet user so i want use a wallet which can operate over a very slow network .
wallet should be mobile friendly and  also i can use android app .
so now suggest me a best bitcoin wallet for me for very slow network

There are few bitcoin wallets (that have also native mobile app) and those that I regularly use are Mycelium and Coinbase. Mycelium is good because only you hold the bitcoin, but coinbase does not provide private key but has its web and mobile platform.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Signature campaign paying in alt coin on: July 14, 2016, 09:30:19 PM
what do you think?
Should btc sites do signature campaign with alt coin(yes/no)?

Why not, if both of them have benefits it's good for both of them. But this does not make sense since both of them are against each other and I don't think they like to promote their competitor.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ain't Sellin' Shit - New video update on NXT and BTC on: July 14, 2016, 09:18:29 PM
I just checked the graph of the recent moves of the NTX price on poloniex and seems that they have a high pump recently, can someone explain to me what exactly happened that made NTX to reach the moon. The drift at the end made my day Smiley
257  Economy / Lending / Re: Urgent loan for my family on: July 14, 2016, 09:11:10 PM
While I was checking my account I saw a negative feedback (not from DT members) and was worried why?

I'm surprised how OP of this thread put the address of mine, don't know the reason, also nobody has notified me about this.

Maybe some alt account, who has a grudge against you.

I don't have any enemy on the forum neither in the real life so I was surprised when I saw this thread (not that someone told me by I saw because of the feedback).

I call OP out here to explain what is going on here.  If you are actually this Hero member, please provide proof and I will fund this loan for you.  We need proof that this is you, for someone is lying here and I am not think it is the trusted hero member.

If he has any other account then he should require loan from that account not creating a new one, but why my address? Maybe he wanted to help me because I was scammed by a trusted member here but this does not make sense. A mod should lock this topic.
258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving event: expectation vs. reality on: July 09, 2016, 11:26:33 PM
only those who didn't live in China for a long period of time can say otherwise. Yes, BTC miners from China are stealing electricity or they bribe directors of electricity companies. Otherwise, they cannot cover the cost.

you can continue with the shits that china miners are the great but I tell you how the things are. Smiley

The technology things in China are more cheaper than in any other country because the mining rigs are mostly produced in china and it's cheaper than buying in EU. Another thing is that the electricity costs less and other factors. OP I didn't expected anything to happen during the halving because i saw the last halving and at that time nothing was changed, after few months the price started to change.
259  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you expect prices to fall on: July 09, 2016, 11:18:24 PM
bitcoin prices has already crossed $700 as expected. Now as the halving is nearly arrived, what you guys think about its prices? will they fall or rise further?

Starting from the next month I expect the price to start slightly falling down, until that time bitcoin will have its ups and downs but when August comes the price will change (my opinion), those that think that the price at the halving or after it will reach moon that is only a dream.
260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: July 09, 2016, 11:09:56 PM
Would you, if asked, personally consider Bitcoin anonymous enough for your needs? Does it lack privacy features? Would you consider Bitcoin anonymous, semi-anonymous or transparent?

Do you want an anonymous crypto currency?

I would call it semi-anonymous, sometimes bitcoin is anonymous sometimes not, the difference is how you use bitcoin, what are you buying/selling/trading then are you using any exchange which requires many different verification etc. For those that this that they are unsafe then they can use bitcoin mixers to increase the privacy level.
