241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Profiting from BTC: just luck? on: March 14, 2024, 09:20:54 PM
We can't please all individuals to appreciate Bitcoin because many people are still doubtful and have negative views towards Bitcoin.
We are too lucky, yes, because we chose the right investment for us but too unlucky for these people who thought we failed and just lost our money. Well, the statement is perfectly right --No risk, No gain. Just like us who make this kind of investment will have a better life than those who keep saying negatively. But there is no sense of arguing with these people because they only don't understand and remain on the negative side.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Kambosos - May 12 IBF Lightweight Title on: March 14, 2024, 01:53:10 PM
Loma is great but IMO he is near close to Mayweather and Pacman, he is great in his own way but he does not take a lot of fight and get tested.
As per https://boxrec.com/en/proboxer/659771, he only fought 17 times, while Mayweather fought 50 (retired 50-0), and Pacman had 62 fights..

Before, great boxers keep fighting, but now they are just choosing when and whom to fight just to keep that undefeated reccord, sadly Loma was not able to, but he is better than other boxers with undefeated record.

Everyone has their own opinion but you maybe correct that Mayweather and Pacman are on a different level as they are a hall of famer. We can make a survey now and ask people who are the top 10 boxers, I'm pretty sure Mayweather and Pacman names are always in the list. However, Loma is still active, he can still improve his achievements and make his own legacy in boxing. Of course, some are saying that he is not anymore on his prime, so Loma has to proved in his fight by beating Kambosos impressively and be a champ once again.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 14, 2024, 12:46:49 PM
He's brought championship to TNT and that's why he's demanding. But if I am the management of TNT, I'd just let it go because if someone don't have that passion to play for the team despite being paid that much, he should know that even this is a professional league and career, budget might be a problem for the team although they've been there around for a long time. There could even bigger problems as you've said since the salary cap is bypassed if granted his request for a bigger cap.

Saying Mikey Williams brought a championship to TNT is not an appropriate description to say, at least for me.

When TNT won the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup, Williams might have been the Finals MVP there but the whole cast of TNT also contributed big. It just happened that Williams topped the scorecard but overall, he's not the one who brought TNT a championship back then. Can't say he brought the championship in that case.

That was his first season with the TNT and they already won a championship. The description that "he brought championship" might be accurate since he was the best player that time, and winning a finals MVP is a proof to that. We can always hear that kind of words about the best player carrying the team but in reality basketball is a teamwork, so statement like that is quite normal, that only means he was the best palyer that time.

And to the attitude problem, I totally agree with that, but look what is happening now,, as per rumor, they are still pursuing him.....

So good luck to TNT.

At first I thought he was really gonna replace Castro as the best player of the TNT, but overtime he became inconsistent that his shots are not falling anymore. He become most confident in his outside shooting but sometimes he had some bad shooting night which would result to the team losing. But then I read the news that he does not show up in practice  or sometimes will come late, so I believe that it was really his unprofessionalism that made the team suffer because they trusted him to contribute big for the success of the team. Now, if TNT will again hire him, hopefully they'll not complain because it will make them look stupid.

I just noticed, it seems like this TN had some problem with their players.  If you still remember, the names Romeo and Ray Parks also have some problem with TNT.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 14, 2024, 06:57:57 AM
There are gamblers who have great instincts and can forecast games that may end up winning the bet. But they are scared that they may lose. They dont trust their own betting predictions so they would rather go to a gambling prediction site to some daily betting tips.

So i want to know as a gambler that you are, do you feel following those betting predictions from those sites would favour us in gambling more than our own predictions? For me i trust my predictions and i have won more when i predict for myself than letting someone predict for me.
Those who are scared of trusting themselves are definitely losers. Why? Because they aren't even motivated to trust themselves but prefer to trust the people. They are not willing to blame themselves but are good at blaming others. Honestly, this kind of gambler will never win any single bet in his life. Besides, this is not a good practice for a gambler. How come enjoy gambling if we only rely on others, we let other people do our job which is supposedly we are the ones who do it.
245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why people mostly fail in trading on: March 14, 2024, 05:22:19 AM
Most people come into trading with their misconceptions, most traders think crypto trading may be very easy and if they buy any coin they will sell that coin at a higher price without any need to have any idea or knowledge about trading. When traders come to trade with such misconceptions, it can be seen that the way they plan to trade is easy, but in reality, trading is not so easy and at that time they suffer a lot due to lack of trading ideas. First we need to know about what is trading and how trading works and we must have enough knowledge about business and market knowledge, when we have knowledge about these things we will be less likely to suffer.
Well, having deep knowledge and a positive mindset is not the assurance for a trader to succeed, still possibly fail for some reason.
 - emotional factor
 - ineffective strategies
 - attitude problem

That is why we won't be confident that we already have knowledge and know how it works.  We still need to keep improving and enhancing our skills and strategies to fit the changing conditions of the market as well. If we want to succeed, we also need not be afraid to lose and of course, have patience.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake on a potential(obvious) loosing team just for love? on: March 13, 2024, 09:58:40 PM

Question: Can you have so much love for your team to behave like this guy that even when you know your love fans team would loose a match, would you still further stake on the match against your team?
Remember that we are catching funs here and whoever chasing after profits is at its own will.
For the love and support --why not?
For the sake of making money, bettor will never choose to let their love control but rather choose the purpose of winning. That is why we can't expect their fans to be loyal and will stay with them until the end because some of them will go away. Well, we can't force them to be loyal, it was their money and they are free to choose where to bet. We might say they support the team but when it comes to gambling, it's too hard to expect such a thing.
In fact, some bettors blame the team they supported for their losses, how much more if they have insights that they will lose the game.
247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is that one reason that motivates you to invest in bitcoin even at ATH ? on: March 13, 2024, 09:26:55 PM
Bitcoin touched new ATH in 2024 of around $69000. There is fear in some investors that there can be a big correction from here. But, there are many investors who are still investing in bitcoin even if the prices are near ATH. What is your one primary reason to keep investing in BTC even at these levels.

Bitcoin is worth buying even during the bull season because I/we believe that it continues to pump and reach new ATH. We have been encouraged to buy and hold despite the risk because we have faith. But of course, we need to stick to our limits as we can just keep on buying, we also need to analyze the market condition.

There is no perfect time to buy Bitcoin, although I bought some during bull season, still a great opportunity to buy at a discounted price (bear season) as it was found to be an accumulation period.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 13, 2024, 01:49:18 PM
Instead I would better watch Ngannou having mma fight. I am more interested to see if he still has that "mma skill" or turning into boxing changed his style. According to wiki, his next fight in mma would be against Renan Ferreira who has knocked out Ryan Bader in 21 sec of first round. Ferreiras record is also impressive 11 KOes in 13 wins. Perhaps next time Ngannou will end up on the floor early will be the octagon floor.
And it also added that Francis chin has been broken already so maybe his aura of invincibility is gone as far as MMA goes and whoever his opponent will be will target that chin and obviously is going to test Francis now and most likely they won't be intimidated by it. On the contrary they will used that knockout against him, MMA has a lot of trash talkers as well so maybe Renan Ferreira as part of the psyche war. Not sure when is the date of his next fight. Probably Francis is just healing after that devastating lost from the hands of AJ. But we will see if he still has it, or if AJ took his soul already.
We can't underestimate his skills in MMA. In fact, we should be amaze with his performance in boxing which is not his main sport. Lots of popular MMA fighters that are not doing good in boxing, just like McGregor, when he fought Mayweather he doesn't look like he has a chance, at least Ngannou were able to amaze the world giving Fury a hard fight that resulted to a controversial decision.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 13, 2024, 01:11:29 PM
I'm not sure if someone in the thread commented like this, but for me that bet might be part of paid partnership negotiations with Stake and Drake. It could be free bet and in addition to that Stake.com will give another payment for advertising. This is how most casinos work when it comes to advertising. And I consider that bet as a decoy so that some bettors will tail that bet. These are just my thoughts. How about you?
I haven't commented on the thread, but when I read through the whole conversation and knew that Drake is partnered with the casino where the bet was placed, it then built up that mixed feeling in me about whether or not the bet was actually a paid by a player bet or just part of his influencing allocation that he can bet with and with this amount in lose, indeed Drake and stake already made headlines which is part of the marketing deal between the two, because no sports bettor in their right sense will stake 615,000 dollars bet on a fighter he knows have no records of consistent winnings compared to the opponent records.

We can't confirm if it's a free bet but the fact that they are partners, that simply imply that both will benefit, no one will lose money. And also, since Drake has some losing streak, if the bets were free, then I think Stake are gains from the bettors who followed him, given he is a popular personality.

They hyped it too much like concluding it was really Drake's money was at stake, and the credibility can't be question since he is a multi millionaire, or billionaire as one poster stated.
250  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long to learn trading? on: March 13, 2024, 12:05:10 PM
Dear in my honest opinion, there is no specific time periode in which we can be the experts in this space of trading because trading is so unexpected space where the market sometimes takes some undesired, unwanted, unexpected steps that traders are unaware of these things sometimes that why expecting that I can learn in the specific time period is the hard thing in my opinion.

On the other hand, I would say you can not 100% expert in the space of cryptocurrency but yes you can poolish yourself by giving it your quality time and this may give you a good advantage/benefit of earning good profit. I personally believe that we always stay on the learning stage because who says I have all the knowledge is just like a sparrow who just sipped a drop of water from the big jaint sea so we should never think that now I have the 100% knowledge of any specific field. What do you say on this?
To be able to become an expert in the crypto field, especially in terms of trading, we cannot determine a time limit to be able to master trading well, because those who already have a lot of experience in the field of trading still have to continue to update their knowledge about trading so as not to make the wrong decisions.
Yes, of course the knowledge we have is only a small part of the vast amount of knowledge that exists, so it is very important for us to continue studying everything well so that we can do well what we have learned.
Perhaps, it is necessary knowing that the crypto market is also changing as we need to cope with those changes in order not to get behind. As we continue doing a trade, we also continue learning, our daily experience gives us such things. Even though we have been doing this for several years, we never be confident enough but rather stay aware and prepared. We just stop learning until the moment we stop trading as well.

So, for newbies, it is better not to ask when to stop but instead, make a habit of learning more because this is one of tickets to success.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I Use Copy Trade With Bitget ? on: March 12, 2024, 09:38:25 PM
I am Not experince Trader
Can i use any copy trading Formula ?
Perhaps you can try and see what is the results and also can say how this copy trading works. But as some members are saying, don't expect a lot from copy trading. Yes, there is no right formula in trading because of the volatile nature of the market which is why this copy trading style never works effectively.

For learning purposes and exploring, that can be beneficial but in terms of profit earning, that is doubtful. Because there is one way that we are able to achieve success in trading and that is to rely upon ourselves, not others. In fact, old traders didn't use this strategy because they already found out that it was not a working style in trading.
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Buy Buy or Sell Sell Sell? on: March 12, 2024, 09:11:39 PM
Ive been hearing about situations where someone buys a coin for a certain rate and not quite long after,  the said coin drops in value, or  someone sells his coin for a certain rate and then it appreciates just after.
What's your take on this? Given the period we're in is it buy time or sell time?
It is possible and it even happens to Bitcoin after we buy today, it drops tomorrow or in the next few days. There is no exemption to this situation but as long as we hold, it never incurs losses. We have to remind ourselves that the market is too volatile, we can't just only see that it keeps on growing but also, expect possible drops. But guess, all the market events --pump and dump, are considered as opportunities for us to sell/buy.

If we are not buying Bitcoin, it is important to choose potential coins as this will be our assurance that if ever it drops, we can still expect recovery.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 12, 2024, 02:05:35 PM
‘God’s Plan’ apparently was not destined to come true. I honestly don’t understand why super stars of this level would make these bets. Is it really all for the sake of adrenaline, I almost don’t believe it. It probably all comes down to an advertisement for the bookmaker where he made this stunning bet. In addition, they began to publish about him more often in news feeds. He probably knew about this, that they would talk and write about it in any case, regardless of loss or win. Because any headline will ring loudly. And the rest of the bookmakers began to wonder why they didn’t offer him to do this earlier in their establishment to get such advertising.

Still, this is a lot of money, ordinary players can’t wrap their heads around it, and while they think or laugh at Drake, he will earn this amount by performing at a private party, spending one evening on it.

He will also earn from betting, if that was sponsored by a specific casino, they might have an agreement and that betslip might not be true. Drake has partnered with stake, so that means he is not betting to beat stake but betting to gain the attention of the people to sign up on the casino. It's just probably a marketing strategy, we should not take it seriously like he really loss that big amount of money.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 12, 2024, 01:34:02 PM
After such a fight, AJ may not agree to a rematch, and probably no one sees the point in it now, not even Ngannou. Although it was initially a matter of money, and Ngannou would rather have tried to negotiate a rematch with Fury, he had more chances in that fight.

Well, if they still gonna give him another chance to fight Fury, then he is the lucky guy right now because it's another huge opportunity for him to earn big money and also he will have a chance to regain back his honor if ever he gives Fury the best beating of his life while at the same time winning that fight. But we all know, that seems impossible right now especially since he already exposed his weakness to the world and surely Fury will use it against him if ever they fight once again in the future.

As long as both can make a decent money, they could agree for a rematch. Especially for AJ, this should not be a problem as he already beat Ngannou once, easily.... So it is now depending on the promoter if they are willing to risk promoting a rematch without an assurance that they could still get the support of the fans like on their first meeting.

If I were to evaluate, I don't find it necessary anymore as surely the fans will not watch this knowing Ngannou will still lose again in KO.

Maybe give Ngannou a fight first, wait if he wins, then they can create this rematch as the hype is alive again.
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still buying altcoins?? on: March 12, 2024, 09:01:22 AM
It seems bulls are busy with Bitcoin only. That's why Bitcoin keep breaking new All time high but most of top altcoins (except a few) Still straggling to cross even Half of their Ath price. So maybe altcoins season might come after btc halving. That's why many people still don't hesitate to collect altcoins. What is your opinion about this matter. Are you still buying anything or will think about it later after halving
No, don't get missed with some of the altcoins as they are also increasing just like some meme coins. But is quite too late for them to buy, we'd rather wait for some price corrections, at least we buy for a discounted price. For me, it was not a good time to buy coins right now. Although we believe that the price will rally more but can't live with such confidence that it all goes that way. Still, we need to be cautious and only invest in usable projects, not shitcoins. Because it was not just what we thought it grow but the potentiality of the project is our assurance. Otherwise, we invest for loss.

256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Take Profits! Its important! on: March 11, 2024, 09:36:38 PM
When we are at Extreme Greed you need to be taking some profit off the table. Most people in crypto fail to keep the money they've made. They either sell too late or they selfishly watch all profits fall back to zero.

I've seen this happening each cycle.

We all need to understand that 1st priority in crypto is surviving. Profits are in 2nd place. Yes that sounds counterintuitive, but it's really simple. The real skill is not in making money. The real skill is in keeping it.

I hope you found this useful. Keep up the flow, and may the force be with you.

Good advise and for most traders, they don't trade in this manner. A lot of greed lives in the mind of many traders and that have made them lost a lot of profitable trades that were initially in big wins for them. What many don't get to understand in trading is that; learn to trade today and come back tomorrow to trade more, it will make you a better trader and not allowing the market to reap you off your money because you don't know how to employ risk management while trading.

Firstly, every traders intention when they joined trading is to make profit but today, they delay to take profit and quickly exit the trade when in loss as  trade is still in process. If traders will learn how to take profits early and exit a trade already on negative trend early, most of them will be profitable and if they are not, their losses from trade won't be that much that they will discouraged not to trade again. Greed and unprepared mindset to align with the flow of the market will only make it harder to become a better trader.
We won't survive in trading if we never earn a profit. Unless our intention is to just spend our money for nothing. Of course, it may not be that easy to get a profit at the start which is why we need more money to back up but if this will take longer time and already drained our reserve, I don't think we need to continue. We just survive from this when our profit would also able to sustain the needs in trading, not from our personal wallet anymore. Otherwise, we make trading as other expenses which in fact, the purpose is to consider as other sources of income.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake loses $615k bet on Joshua-Ngannou bout on: March 11, 2024, 12:59:56 PM
And should I pity Drake for losing such an exorbitant amount of money? Of course no, Drake is a multi-billionaire, $615k dollars is probably like $65 dollars to him, so it's absolutely nothing.

Do you have any article to back proving that he is a multi-billionaire?

Because what i read is that he is not a billionaire yet, and his networth is only $260 million, far from becoming a bilionaire. So talking about $615k is already a significant amount of money, unless he is actively gambling and has been winning sometimes.

The Drake net worth in 2023 is estimated to be around $260 million. Aubrey Drake Graham, popularly known as Drake, is a name that resonates with music lovers worldwide. Lol, only dump people believe what acticle writers say or write about the networth of people they probably have never seen or meet in real life, I don't believe all this bullshit acticles about networth of people, for we all know what it's practically impossible to completely know how much a person is worth except the person on his or her own decided to tell the world, and even at that, we still have to worry about how truthful they are, that is, if what they say about their networth is truth of lie.

Drake is a billionaire, I don't need an article to know this, someone who is only worth $260 million dollars won't risk $615 thousand dollars on a single game except the person is a very reckless gambler.

Drake is not just a world popular musician, one of the world's finest actually, he's also an ambassador to stake, and I believe it's not just stake, but many other big and large companies as well, he's also a crypto currency investor.
Now, this is speculation but imagine for yourself, how many bitcoin a personality like Drake owns, did the article you shared also considered his crypto currency network.

I would believe you if you are a brother or sister of Drake. Sorry, but it seems like your information will be baseless without its support. At least mine, I have an article to back my statement. But if your argument will only end up with what you believe, then I would be quit, and just believe what you believe but you can't convince me or people without any support of your statement that he is a billionaire.

He is a public figure, information about his networth should be available online, and that is more realiable than personal assumption.

If I say Elon Musk is a billioniare and someone would question my statemetn, I would easily tell that person to do some google search. here, about Drake, can't find a billion with his name doing google search.

259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Massive withdrawal of Bitcoin on: March 10, 2024, 09:37:20 PM
Wouldn't this continues practice of withdrawing and selling off whenever the price skyrockets going to slow the volatility of Bitcoin to continue skyrocketing? Since the price automatically starts experiencing a dip after every massive withdrawal.

This is the same if we want to invest our trades in BTC, we need to understand how to analyze the market and coins and without this analysis we will not make any profit and even incur a lot of losses.

Well, related to the above, if they make a profit when the price is high, I think it's normal, but the obsession with buying more will probably be even bigger and in fact BTC will continue to rise unless at some point, say in the next 5 years, we don't use Bitcoin as an investment portfolio. only then will it automatically start to decline after each large withdrawal as you said above.
Well, it is expected holder to sell their Bitcoin during the bull season for profit. We can't take that part because these people are waiting for this moment to come. This is a normal event in the market but it can't make to slow the volatility of the market as it still behaving the same.

As an investment, we can never expect people to hold forever but rather see them selling off their BTC when the price is high, and then invest again. Just like during the bear season, we also see massive buying. People take their actions whether to buy or sell depending on the market condition.
260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your advised for being a trader? on: March 08, 2024, 08:31:24 PM
Becoming someone who really understands trading and how to do analysis is very difficult, it's easy to do it in just a short time. It takes a lot of theoretical learning, direct trials and seeing market patterns. Those who claim to be traders even though they have only traded a few times, they are only traders who understand selling and buying but not specifically how prices can go up and down. So it is not easy to become a trader who is truly a trader. Technical analysis, fundamentals, risk management, psychological management and many others must be studied and understood.
Trading requires long term planning and preparation before someone should take the risk in trading. It’s actually hard for starters but if you push yourself to trade more consistently despite of some affordable losses, that will make you become more experienced trader which I think could be a lot helpful to manage your trades in the next days. However, experience and knowledge are not enough. One should develop more skills and strategies to win a trade, thus learning the basics through technical, fundamental and sentiment analysis are very vital. If you can have that along with patience, most likely you will end up a successful trader.
Well, the truth is that trading doesn't give us good results as we start but most are losses. If we are the type of trader who easily gives up because of experiencing losses, the more possible we never succeed in our life. Well, some people will say that trading can easily be learned as they just think that it is all about buying and selling. They are right but it never works that easily as we can't just simply buy/sell without any market analysis and this makes it hard for most traders. Many had entered trading without such knowledge which is not going to wonder why many newcomers fail and quit.

We just know how hard it is when doing an actual trade. Some traders become successful but yes, they are also suffering losses multiple times before they get this position.
