2401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you trust a gambler with your money/savings? on: June 27, 2022, 10:55:50 PM
Well, at the end of day it depends on how good or bad gambler person is. Personality makes big role in this discussion and not all employees have same mental health to think rational due to nature of gambling. Someone can run away with my hard earned money after gaining my trust while someone else can use it for personal life without bad purposes. Even if person wanna gamble and ask loan to fund his casino bankroll, I will trust his experience and share with him amount that I can afford to lose.
In my perspective, If a person ask a loan for me to fund his casino bankroll, I would definitely reject him as soon as he told me whether he is a friend/family or good at playing gambling games. It's not because I don't trust him or he has a bad personality, but it's about the responsibleness of a gambler. If a gambler want's to gamble, It is his own responsibility to gamble his own money and not borrow from someone. I've seen someone who borrowed from a loan shark just to gamble but the end result is just a trauma to him.

2403  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every "Bitcoin is Dead Headline" is a Buying Opportunity on: June 27, 2022, 10:03:06 PM
I think that's a strategy from whales, when whales spread FUD the price will also be cheap because almost all traders are provoked by it,
and cause everyone to panic sell, and this is the reason, Whales will buy cheaply and accumulate, then PUMP arrives!
this is what's on my mind, I don't know, but usually it's a fact.
Yeah, Headlines like these are just a typical headline for doing spreading FUD and to make a panic to the community. Most of us who knows how the market works and has an idea on what actually happening won't be affected but imagine those crypto users who just got in and has no idea what is currently happening, I'm sure they will be the most affected with headlines like these. Addition to that is if the publisher is well known such as forbes that makes the article more valid that will put up more pressure on new crypto users.
2404  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ang nakaambang pag ban ng Binance sa pinas on: June 27, 2022, 08:08:39 PM
<snip>

2406  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear Market Opportunities - Forget "When Lambo" on: June 26, 2022, 10:10:37 PM
For someone who was here when the price of 1 BTC was only $200 I see no reason to even think that there is such a moment when I should think it’s time to sell everything and invest in Bitcoin.

That has to be a genuine effect because Bitcoin does have people who've been around years and remember the hype when it got to 1000.   Same kind of hype as every other peak, then it falls back and we repeat.   Even if it is 20k or lower its still high for anyone who been paying attention for then a year or two.
DCA is the simple idea and allows hands off less emotional involvement.   Since 20k pricing cannot fall more then we already lost from ATH, you also cannot be more bearish at this point then you should have been prior.
"When Lambo" people knows how to play the market in my own opinion. Taking advantage of the market by hyping up people to make an additional traction during the bull market then disappears when bear market arrives. We have seen this many times and it's been repeating for many times and on different space such as NFT. We all know that "influencers" are those who matters to the community and I've seen some of them doing "when lambo" post. It's just the same thing happening to market over and over. This is why we should have control to ourselves and not to let our emotions take the investment we have.
2407  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC back at 20K. Imagine who sold at 17.7K. on: June 26, 2022, 08:50:14 PM
Weak hands are usually new traders looking for short-term profit. I bet most people who sell at $17k range were the same ones who bought when it was over $20k beforehand, thought they could make a profit when it goes higher than $20k and that was the lowest point Bitcoin could get. But when Bitcoin dropped furthermore, along with FUD news, they rather cut loss instead of keep holding.
Without a doubt those people are weak hands however there are simply too many types of weak hands, there are those that bought near the all time high as they thought the price of bitcoin will go up forever and they decide to invest at the worst possible time and then the price went down, however instead of cutting their losses early they refused to accept the reality and kept holding until the price reached a very low price, and instead of simply accepting their mistake and becoming long term holders and use DCA they decided to sell at the worst possible time.
Aside from new traders being weak hands, Panic also set in when they experience a big dump from a price that they have never expected to be reached. Mostly, New traders doesn't know Market Psychology which is an aspect of trading, Having it unknown can make a big impact on trading especially on the current market situation we have.
2408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trading during bear market can save your portfolio on: June 26, 2022, 08:00:46 PM
This is the typical thing that non traders think, Buy low and sell high but in reality it's more harder. Of course you can make a profit doing it but there is a lot of efforts and background works that you need to do such as doing technical analysis, fundamentals and other things that can make your trade more accurate. Market is unpredictable, There's a chance a very big chance that you can buy at a lower price but the price can go lower which could result in losses this is why you need to make some efforts to improve or backed your trade.
2410  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Among all which do you hold on: June 26, 2022, 02:29:28 PM
Hello I have thought of holding 4 particular currencies which includes BTC, ETH, BNB, UCT. But within me I feels I should trade with them to accumulate more of those currencies maybe before the bear will be finally over I would have ended up having much of them I engaged myself by trading.

I want to know if holding or trading will be more preferred. All suggestions are welcomed.

I have those three cryptocurrency which is BTC,ETH and BNB in my portfolio right now. The one I am planning to hold is BTC and ETH, I don't plan on holding much on BNB that's why I consider it as a coin that I can use for trading. I don't mind BTC and ETH losing it's value now because of the market cycle but on the other coins I have, I'm monitoring them. If you plan to hold and trade, I advise you to make a separate wallet for both activities so that you will have less temptation to trade what you are holding.
2411  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Incoming BSP Governor's take on cryptocurrencies on: June 25, 2022, 10:35:07 PM
No hate pero yung mga sinasabi nila na karamihan eh tinatago raw yung pera sa gobyerno eh totoo naman, but of course for some good reasons.

2412  Other / Archival / Re: Are you ready to see Bitcoin at $10 000? on: June 25, 2022, 09:49:55 PM
Great point! 10k is pretty deep and I think it's possible to reach 10k according to charts and insights I saw from speculators. In my point of view, reaching 10k is a good news for me since I'm stacking btc and try to reach out the deepest price of this market cycle. For sure it will wipe out weak companies and those sht coins that just keep taking advantage of cryptocurrency. Above 10k or under, I'm ready.

P.S. Baliktad yata yung title, Pinas dapat mauna kesa Binance.
Satingin ko possible pero malaki ang chance na hindi naman ito mangyayari since nakaabang na din ang binance sa requirements para makapag operate sila ng bansa according kay CZ. 2414  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: June 24, 2022, 08:07:35 PM
If you were given a choice, would you play regularly in a cryptocurrency casino WITH KYC, and with added benefits like first deposit/welcome bonuses and cashbacks?

Or would you like to play regularly in a casino, WITHOUT KYC, BUT also without the welcome bonuses, cashbacks and other extra rewards?
Well this depends on what kind of bonuses, cashbacks and other extra reward that I could get from those casino. One thing is some of the casino I'm currently playing is asking for KYC so what's the difference with choosing the casino that do give extra rewards. But if where absolutely one casino that I can play and don't have any experience on other casinos, I would probably settle and not risk my identity on casino that doesn't ask for KYC. I can regularly play without thinking for the risk of my identity.

2415  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin FUD is for losers. BE A WINNER. Stay Cool- Be Positive =D on: June 24, 2022, 07:11:01 PM
Mt. gox?

Still trying to get my money back from mtgox.  Many others are as well.  If there were a reason to be pessimistic about the Bitcoin price, it would be that coming event.  When mtgox victims are eventually given the 200,000+ BTC sitting around waiting for them, I suspect it will lead to a massive selloff of BTC on the market.  This will likely be a short term event, but anyone even considering being overly bullish with leverage right now should be warned that they will likely be liquidated in the coming months.
I hope you recover your btc from recovered funds from mtgox hack. It a good news for mtgox victims if the distribution happens but I'm sure there will be a lot of panic whenever victims started selling. For those who are new to space or have no idea about the distribution, It would be a disaster for them for sure!

It's nice that I've got an update from you OgNasty, Surely I'll get myself in touch with the mtgox happening and make myself ready for the massive selloff to buy some more BTC  Wink
2416  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casinos Vs Ethereum Casinos on: June 24, 2022, 06:42:45 PM
After reading this article, I thought about starting to use an Ethereum Casinos. What do you think about this?
https://cryptogeek.info/en/blog/btc-eth-casinos
P.S. There is no casino advertising in the article.
I think the article mostly covers about blockchain gambling and aside from the transaction time and transaction fee both of them have the same experience in my own perspective. Both bitcoin and ethereum now is widely available in the market and the transaction fees of both is not far away from each other depending on the casino. Actually most casinos have a fix transaction fees for both and I personally wouldn't mind the small difference. What would matter to me the most is the houseedge of the casino and the games that the casino have.
2417  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: June 24, 2022, 05:31:48 PM
Im buying now good amount , seems bottom reached , BUT i will keep 50% in cash in case bitcoin goes down further .

Im planning to buy btc price around: 19500$ at the time of writting .

Its DONE !

keep 50% of my money in cash in case it goes more down and get good average to put orders like this :

25% @ 15,000$

25% at 11,000$

will have a good average price

I been buying BTC before like this and it's effective in my case. Having buying target where you can buy is a good thing to do especially not everyone or the majority can buy at the lowest dip so having target is the efficient thing to do. You won't have any regrets if somehow you bought bitcoin on a single price and dip more. I suggest you expand your  %, I can do as much as 10% of my budget per buying. Always remember to target buying at supports and buy more at stronger support. By the way, This is also the technique/habit I used in selling crypto.
2418  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano mahanap ang best cryptocurrency? on: June 23, 2022, 06:36:52 PM
Lahat ng crypto down kasama na bitcoin diyan -75% na nga down ng btc from ATH e so hindi stable actually its very volatile just like any other crypto ganyan naman talaga kapag bear market expect the worst pero after naman niyan uptrend na naman yan cycle lang talaga ang nagyayari so dapat expected na natin to na talagang magdown lahat including btc.

I've missed the chance last bull run pero I'll make it happen next bull run. Let's hope na ang mapili natin coin this bear season is very worth it during bullish na ang market.
2419  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on transgender only events? on: June 23, 2022, 05:18:30 PM
I think not  Roll Eyes Transgender events are a bit new and it would be hard for betters to get player information since we can expect that players are new to the eyes of the people. That way the better confidence are a bit low. I'm sure that the hype within that kind of events is high especially on their own community but we can expect it to go down after some weeks and people might lose interest since people are more interested in more skilled or famous athletes that are playing the same game.
2420  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: June 23, 2022, 04:51:26 PM
This has happened to me more lot of times and I have learnt from it. Some people think hodling means you won't take profit. It dosent work only that way and for this who want to increase their hodling then they need to trade the hodl buy selling when price goes high and wait patiently to rebuy when prices goes lower.
I've also been on it on a lot of time. I've earned massive amount of profit by being a diamond hand and also took a deep loss because of it. The thing I learned from that experience is to sell unworthy assets and keep the coins that showed it's potential to the market. Bitcoin is one of the coins that you need to focus your eye to. I've been holding some bitcoin for few years now and guess what! even if we are on the bear market, I'm still 3-4x profit on bitcoin from my buying price. This is why we should pay attention on coins we should hold and play some cryptocurrency that has some potential in trading.
