![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) I just do not know why some people can still make big money when prices fall. Short selling, of course. But what we really need is better options markets so that we can still make big money when prices stay the same. I hate stability. Binary options ? No, vanilla options.

1. Do you guys think bitcoin will shoot up in value (a good investment)? 2. Should I invest now, OR will prices go lower before the go up?

One one currency fails, another take over. Money will never die.
Year 3000. Once automation has replaced 99% of human labour... where is the place for money there? Human labour is only part of the production process. The process can be automated, but production itself still requires energy, raw materials, and real estate, all of which are in finite supply and must therefore be traded in some way (such as money).

So I'm pretty much helpless as my freedom of speech is eaten away by mods?
I don't think that means what you think it means. Freedom of speech means the government can't make it illegal to express your opinion. And it is perfectly legal to make off-topic posts, so what are you complaining about? But this forum is private property, and you can't do things with someone else's private property without their permission, even if those things are otherwise legal. You may only post here as long as the admins and mods permit it, and such permission can be revoked at any time for any reason. In this case, the reason is that you broke the rules, so you'll get no sympathy from me.

![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Haha these militant veggies are pretty funny. It's natural and healthy for us to eat meat, the canine teeth in my mouth prove it. Rape is also natural. Doesn't prove anything. Rape isn't healthy.

You have to turn off your ad blocker to read it apparently.
Apparently not. I'm using Adblock Plus and I can read the article just fine.

my short position ... bring this price back down
Aw, ya poor thang. Worried the price won't drop on its own and you'll end up underwater?

I somehow fail to see how this woman is delusional. I do not believe nor disbelieve her and I'm not defending her but she's using the same brand of logic that people having been using for 1000s of years to unravel the mysteries of the world. I find it curious that people do not seem to realize that the world snickering at her directly translate into the world snickering at itself.
What "brand of logic" are you referring to?

Let me tell you a story. In a faraway empire, the people wanted to know the length of their great emperor's penis. Now it goes without saying that the emperor doesn't allow anyone to see his penis, so the people collected estimates from everyone in the land and averaged them, thinking that this was provide an accurate measurement. Then one day, the emperor went out on parade in the nude, having been tricked into thinking he was wearing invisible clothes (though that's another story), and everyone realised their estimates were hilariously wrong, though some tried to justify their estimates by claiming the emperor was cold that day.
There are many lessons to be learned from this story.

Oy vey. ווו is 18 in Hebrew (or would be if it were even grammatically correct), not 666. 666 is תרס״ו. Though the number of the beast is from the New Testament anyway, which was originally in Greek, not Hebrew. And the O more closely resembles the Greek letter phi than an inverted cross.

But only hours can be added/deducted, so an option to add/deduct minutes will be helpful.
Is it really that hard to just divide the number of minutes you want by 60? Just in case it is, 30 minutes is 0.5 hours.

That's over 11 duovigintillion googol googol googol googol googol percent APR (1.123%x10 570 to be precise), which is literally the largest number I've ever seen. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

People say "Bless you" when you sneeze because when you sneeze, your heart stops for a mili-second.
This is a myth. It's not true. Agreed. That phrase probably originated hundreds of years ago. How would the people first saying it know anything about the heart stopping for a millisecond? Specifically, it most likely originated back when the many horrible diseases that had sneezing as a symptom were far less treatable than they are today, thus people who sneezed typically had a short life expectancy (well, shorter than usual). People were also more religious back then, though it is not clear whether the blessing was a prayer for a cure, or to ease the dying soul's transition to the afterlife. If they were anything like today's religious folk, they'd probably take the credit either way. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Frainiernew.wpengine.com%2Fyurts%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2Fsites%2F2%2F2014%2F01%2FThe_more_you_know_banner.jpg&t=663&c=or53Xl6yy3ltxQ)

The ratio of bulls is still much higher. They're just quiet now because the price is dropping and many of them made retarded predictions that are turning out to be way off.
It's funny you should put it like that. Yes, our predictions were quite literally retarded, ie, "slowed or delayed". Bitcoin is still going to the moon, it's just taking longer than we first thought. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Hmmmmm so Australia has the most immigrants huh.. How good is the place?
It's great. We have the world's biggest rock, the seventh largest desert, and the largest island composed entirely of sand. We also have the world's most venomous snake, jellyfish, ant, and tree. Speaking of trees, eucalyptus trees are highly flammable and have been known to explode when burnt, or sometimes for no reason at all. They are also poisonous. In fact, everything in Australia is poisonous unless otherwise stated, and most of the non-poisonous things will kill you in other ways. Beware of drop bears.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Also, I don't generally report the posts of the 252 members I have on ignore (because I don't see them). If I did, my reports might outnumber my posts. But I'd probably just go insane like kiba did. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) I didnt notice anything special, which subforum did you have the most spam?
Hard to say. The increase is pretty even across all the subfora, I think. Except maybe the altcoin section, because I have no idea what goes on there. No doubt nothing good.
